It was another beautiful day in Ponyville as Scootaloo makes her way into town where she would meet up with Rumble. She and him have known each other ever since they were young and would always make plans to hang out. Though feeling a bit left out since during that time she had no girls to hang out with. She'd been a bit shy to even ask or join a group of girls. Always considered herself as a tomboyish filly pegasus, she knows that there is no way no girl would accept her as a friend. Trying to shake the thoughts out of her mind, she hurried up the road to meet up Rumble.

As she made her destination, she sees Rumble nowhere in sight. "Ughhh, where is he." she said to herself. "He said he would meet up here but I don't see him anywhere."

Then out of nowhere, a wind of flash soon waved Scootaloo mane as she hit the deck for cover. Once she looked up, she then realized that it was just Rumble up in the air. "Dang it Rumble you scared the hay out of me!" Scootaloo angrily yelled out. "Oops, sorry about that Scoots, I didn't mean to surprise you like." Rumble said as he made his hooves to the ground. " It's alright a Rumble, just don't do it again." Scootaloo mumbled

"So…. you wanna head over to Sugarcube Corner and get some milkshakes?" said Rumble
blushing a bit while trying to hid his face.

Smiling at the blushing Pegasus, Scootaloo nodded before making their way to Sugarcube Corner.

As she made her destination, she sees Rumble nowhere in sight. "Ughhh, where is he." she said to herself. "He said he would meet up here but I don't see him anywhere."

Then out of nowhere, a wind of flash soon waved Scootaloo mane as she hit the deck for cover. Once she looked up, she then realized that it was just Rumble up in the air. "Dang it Rumble you scared the hay out of me!" Scootaloo angrily yelled out. "Oops, sorry about that Scoots, I didn't mean to surprise you like." Rumble said as he made his hooves to the ground. " It's alright a Rumble, just don't do it again." Scootaloo mumbled as she got up to her hooves.

"So.... you wanna head over to Sugarcube Corner and get some milkshakes?" said Rumble blushing a bit while trying to hid his face.

Smiling at the blushing Pegasus, Scootaloo nodded before making their way to Sugarcube Corner.

As they walked to Sugarcube Corner, Scootaloo started to notice something. She and Rumble have been best friends for...... well as long as she could remember. Though she can understand why they both hang all the time, she still has no idea why she feels so "excited" whenever he's around. The last time she felt this strange reaction, she asked her parents if they knew why she's started feeling like. All she remember was her parents started smiling at her and giving her eye meaning she's just getting older. By then when she realized what her parents meant, she felt disgusted that she's getting into colts. "Ughhh, I don't like him, cool fillies like me can't be in love." she thought to herself.

"Soooo, how've you been Scoots, anything new?" said Rumble trying to break the awkward silence.

"Uhh no not really, why you ask?" asked Scootaloo.

"Just asking, nothing new for me either." said Rumble while looking down at the ground.

Just what it seemed a bit awkward, Scootaloo examined his behavior. For the past few days, she started noticing strange things going on with Rumble. Not in a weird way, but in a way where she thinks he's not being himself. Like the last when they both went to the park together, she started noticing him staring at her not one, but more than five times. Feeling uncomfortable with the weirdness he's been getting over, she would often ask him why is he staring at her. And simply enough, he would say, "nothing."

But even though he can be strange sometimes, Scootaloo still enjoys hanging out with him no matter what. But still, she simply cannot understand why she feels excited or happy whenever they both hang out. And there is no way she would accept thinking she likes him. Or does she?

"You alright Scoots." asked Rumble looking at Scootaloo.

Shaking her thoughts away she replied, "Uh no, no I'm ok, why you ask?" smiling nervously.

"You seem a bit lost, not to mention you don't seem to be feeling alright." said Rumble

"I'm fine Rumble, really I am, I've just been thinking lately." said Scootaloo with a frown on her face.

"Well if you ever need to talk to somepony, I'm here," said Rumble.

"I said I'm fine Rumble trust me, I'm totally ok." said Scootaloo mumbling.

Finally they've made to Sugarcube corner where they made their way inside.

"Hiyya guys!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie bouncing from out of nowhere.

"Hey Pinkie Pie." said Scootaloo.

"What can I get for you two?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"I'll have a chocolate milkshake please." said Rumble.

Uhhh, I'll think I'll have a strawberry milkshake." said Scootaloo.
