When Twilight Sparkle became a princess, she became immortal as well. Millions of years later her friends, Celestia, Cadance, Shining Armour, and Luna are all dead. Not only that, but war is beginning in Equestria. Can Twilight handle the burden of head princess? Can she handle being alone?

A tear rolled down Twilight's cheek as she stared down at her mentor, friend, and role model's grave. Princess Celestia had died. Her last friend died.

The funeral was the week before. Every pony in Equestria had come and left like nothing happened. After all, they had princess Twilight Sparkle to lead them, right? Right!? Who would lead her though?

Of course, there was another alicorn, but she is disappointing compared to Cadance, Luna, and Celestia if you asked her. She is even more disappointing compared to her friends.

The only other alicorn, the princess of love, was named Ruby Lace. She was known for her stupidity and rudeness around Equestria. So much for princess of love.
