After years of running from Father, the man found himself caught in his grasp all over again. Years building up his life as a mercenary ended abruptly, as he and his men were captured by the madman. He lost everything, he even thought he lost his life. Instead, he finds himself in the world of Equestria, causing quite the commotion in the process. Now he finds himself in a strange world with nothing but the sword, his real father gave him and the cloths on his back (which isn’t much). He now searches for the reason of being brought to this world, and learn the truth about Caliburn, and the secrets it hold.

Will he find his path in life? Will he make new friends, or let his dark past hold him back? Will he be able to protect the ones he loves this time, or will he fail again?

This fic will bring up a lot of dark topics, from child soldiers, Stockholm syndrome, psychological torture, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and more. You have been warned.
