"War...war never changes"

Location: Vault 101
Vault door hasn't opened in one millennia

I know what you're thinking, 'why the fuck am I here?' Well I'm in the vault for two reasons, I'm an earth-pony, meaning I don't live forever so I had a stasis pod built by my buddy, Andy. If you're wondering why I'm in this realm of existence, I might have been a victim of inter-dimansional displacement by buying an oddly realistic Tesla cannon while in a convention as the wanderer wearing the merc-adventurer outfit and a plasma pistol.

So, like the idiot that I was, I bought the canon and got sucked in some wormhole.

I woke up later and found out that I turned into an anthropomorphic earth-pony wanderer. I would have celebrated in finding out that I got turn into an Equestrian Pony if it weren't for the wasteland. Long story short, I found two Alicorn fillies only two months after my arrival. They were out looking for their father who left the Vault without saying goodbye. I decided to help them find their father through the wastes. The only good thing about being here is that the asshole that scent me here gave me a Pip-boy that could listen to any song of my choosing.

Ugh, why did Luna had to lock me up here? I just hope everythings fine out there.

PoV: Twilight
Location: Castle of the two sisters, sub-basement

"Twilight, remind us why we need to be in this horrid place?" I heard Rarity ask as we went down a few more steps.

"Celestia said that ever since Luna came back, she felt guilty for imprisoning somepony a long time ago and want us to see if we could help by finding the pony." I said as I stopped in front of a wall.

"Odd, the princess told me it would be through here." I said as I looked at the dead end.

"Silly, this wall isn't real." Pinkie said as she bounced towards the wall and went through it. I looked back at the girls with a confused look before following Pinkie inside.

Once I got to the other side, I looked around and saw that it was a tunnel. I squinted to see if I could see anything through the dark and saw something shine from the light of my magic. I walked closer to it with the girls following behind.

I got a closer look at what it was and it was a large metal vault-like door with the numbers 101 written in the middle.

I looked at what looked like some sort of panel and pressed the button that said open. Alarms soon started blaring while lights were flashing around the door. I could here something the other side as the door began sliding back and moving away, giving us a clear view of what supposedly would be ancient technology but I'm pretty sure this even more advanced than ours.

"Greeting and Welcome to Vault 101 were-" A voice said but was cut off by a loud buzzing.

"Finally got rid of that blasted thing." We heard a voice say as a squid like thing came hovering in. It turned to look at us and waved an arm.

"So, you six opened the vault and for what?" It asked us. I gulped as I saw that it had a saw blade in another arm.

"We came here looking for somepony, he was imprisoned here by Nightmare moon." I said to it.

"Oh, you mean the master? He'll be delighted to see other living beings. Come, I'll lead you to him." It said as we passed by a Timberwolf body.

"Why is there a dead timberwolf in here?" AppleJack asked the robot.

"He's not dead. Dogmeat, we're going to wake him up now." He said. The eye sockets of the timberwolf glowed back to life and got up. It looked at us and cocked his head in confusion.

"They're here to get us out of here, so be nice." It said, gaining a happy bark from the wolf.

We continued walking through corridors, until we stopped at a room that said Research and Development.

"Now, don't touch anything at all, if you value your hands." It said, turning on the saw as a threat. We went inside and what we saw could very well be called things from the future but what really got our attention is the large pod in the middle of the room.

"By the way, I'm Andy." Andy said as he got close to the pod and started typing in the panel attached to it. While he was doing that, we all introduced ourselves.

"This is Dogmeat, the masters best friend. Harm him and prepare to suffer." Andy said, casually as he hovered back while the pod slowly opened, letting loose some steam. Andy picked up something on the counter and hovered back. Once the steam was gone, we saw fully naked earth pony stallion inside, sleeping. Andy the attached something on the stallions wrist. The sound of flesh being pierced could be heard as Andy hovered back.

"Oww!" The stallion said as he opened his eyes. We all blushed at the sight of him. He saw us and saw his lack of clothing but Andy through some clothes for him.

"You know, I don't like re-attaching the Pip-boy, it hurts like a hell." The stallion said as he finished putting on his clothes. He looked like some sort of adventurer in that outfit, a sexy..snap out of Twilight! You just meet the guy.

"Well how else was I going to get your sleepy arse up." Andy said, opening the door for the timberwolf as it ran towards the stallion and tackled him to the ground, happily licking his face.

"Ha ha! Stop it boy, I missed you too." He said as he managed to calm the wolf down. He got back up and looked at us.

"You are?" He asked, waiting for us to introduce ourselves. One by one we introduced ourselves.

"So what's yours?" Rainbow asked.

"My names Steel Breaker, The Lone Wanderer." He said.

PoV: Steel Breaker

"Sir, we are able to leave at any time now, I managed to fix the inside panel while you were talking." Andy said, hovering back inside.

"Alright, let's go see if my little project worked after all these years." I said as I checked if I had everything I need and began walking out.
