Steel Breaker
Canterlot Castle, Throne room
4:00 P.M

I've been ignoring everyone for the past half hour ever since this asshole showed up. He started rambling on about how we shouldn't even be here, that only royalty and servants were allowed in.

I've been sitting here, patiently and quitly while being in my happy place. Discord put on noise cancelling headphones and gave both Celestia and Luna two Advil pills.

“Can I just put a bullet between his eyes?” I asked out loud, gaining everyone's attention.

“No, Steel. You can't just shoot however you find annoying.” Celestia said while Luna stood behind her nodding towards my question. Celestia looked back and saw Luna whistling nonchalantly.

I knew the guy was a prick by the way Rarity made him sound like but this is much worse. I was pretty sure he directed his insults at me as I walked towards the door.

“Don't ignore, you peasant!” I heard shout as I felt an immense pain course through my back and was launched towards the wall.

I opened my eyes and was facing at an angry prince.

“You will listen to me, when I talk, you and your filthy friends don't belong in the castle.” He said, holding me up with his magic. I looked over to the girls as they got ready to help me but stopped as they saw my smirk.

“Really?” I said to him.

“Really.” He answered with hatred.

“Really!?” I shouted with maniac grin.

“Yes really!” He shouted back.

“Alright then.” I said before breaking his hold on me, shocking him as he staggered backwards. I didn't give a chance to recover as I grabbed him by the shoulder, pushed him down, making him bend over as I knee kicked his stomach, earning a loud caugh from him.

While he held his stomach in pain, I elbowed him to the ground, making him hit said ground with a very loud thud. Everyone including the guards wore shocked that I've struck royalty.

“Really? Because I don't think so.” I said, crossing my arms at him. He shakingly stood up and looked over to me with a heated glare.

“I will not be humiliated by the like of you.” He said, taking a sword from a nearby guard who he knocked down. He pointed the sword at me, making me chuckle as I took out my own.

It was Jingwei's shocksword, a griffin communist general from the Great war. As the name implies, it has electricity going through the blade, meaning depending on how weak the enemy is, the shock caused from the sword is enough to kill them.

I flipped the switch, earning a sudden buzz of electricity. Blueblood stared in awe, shock, fear and disbelief at the sword. He shook his head as he swung his at me, very uncoordinated I might add. I tilted the sword, allowing me to block his strike. The sword electrified his, scaring the hell out of him and making him pull back.

“What's the matter, afraid of a little lighting?” I said, placing my synthetic hand on the blade, causing the electricity to flow through my arm.

He looked at me with wide eyes but charged anyway, only to miss completely as I stepped to the right. I poked him with the sword, shocking him and earning a scream from him.

He swung the sword backwards but it stopped halfway as I used mine to block it. Luckily, my sword was positioned near the hilt of his, so I jabbed him again and swung my sword upwards, making let go of his as it flew upwards. I caught the sword with a bored expression.

I squeezed the hilt of it with the same strength I hold mine, causing it to break. I looked back at the Prince and took out a shock collar, placed it around his neck and set the voltage to the same amount as my sword. Once that was done, I crouched down at him as he looked at me.

“Behave, or else.” I said, about to earn a shout from him but the collar emitted a loud beep before shocking him.

“There's more where that came from, and it's magic proof.” I said with grin as I stood up and turned to look at the mane six staring at me in shock while Celestia sat silently with very unnoticeable smile of satisfaction and Luna was, well cheering out my name. I frowned as I had received a headache and proceeded to walk back to the door.

“If anyone needs me, I'll be somewhere quiet.” I said as I opened the door and walked out.

Twilight Sparkle

Only a few minutes after Steel left for some peace, Rainbow shouted on how awesome that was.

“And the sword! I need to get one of those!” Rainbow said, still gushing over the sword Steel used against Blueblood. Speaking of which, He had pleaded Celestia and Luna to lock him up and force him to release the collar.

“Enough! I will not imprison Steel Breaker for the act of Self Defense and I for one think that collar might be the only way to change your attitude.” Celestia said to her nephew.

“But but--” Blueblood stuttered.

“Shut up! You will wear that collar until I see that you act like a true prince, then the collar will be taken off.” Luna shouted at him. Celestia casted a spell at the collar, turning it invisible. Blueblood muttered a load of insults towards Celestia and Luna, resulting in Luna making a magical manifestation of a boot and kick him in the flanks.

During their discussion with Blueblood, I stared at the door the entire time, thinking if I should talk to him. I did noticed Celestia looking at me with a knowing smirk and walked towards me.

“Is there something between you and Steel? Or you're worried about him as a friend?” She asked me. I opened my mouth to answer but couldn't say my answer, I wanted to say that I cared as a friend but it felt...wrong.

‘But he's my friend, right?’ I mentally asked myself.

‘You are, but it seems like you want to be something more.’ I heard my other half mentally.

‘Do I really feel this way?’ I mentally asked again, earning another reply from the other half of my thoughts.

‘I'm apart of you Numbnuts, ask yourself that, not me.’ my other half said. I looked back to Celestia and saw her with a questioning look.

“Is something wrong, Twilight?” She asked me.

“I don't know.” I said in a low voice.

“What was that?” She asked me, raising an eyebrow.

“I said, I don't know.” I said to her, earning another confused look from her.

“Can we talk in private? I don't feel comfortable talking about this with everypony.” I said to her, earning a nod from her as she turned towards my friends.

“We'll be right back, Twilight and I must converse in private.” She said before teleporting us to her private study.

She grabbed two seats via magic and set them down behind us. We sat down and Celestia waited for me to talk.

“I...I feel like I want to be more than friends with him. It's just what if, what if he doesn't feel the same?” I said, feeling nervous and awkward with this conversation.

“How long have you felt like this? He hasn't been out for a month, yet he had managed to steal someone's heart.” She said the last part as a statement.

“I know, but-” I was interrupted when she placed a finger in my lips, making me quiet.

“I didn't mean it as a bad thing, in fact, I'm happy for you. You finally found somepony.” Celestia said as she pulled back her finger.

“But I've only felt like this for two days. How could I know of this isn't just some school filly crush?” I asked.

“Easy, just follow what your heart tells you.” She answered with a smile. I closed my eyes in deep thought and stayed like that for at least an hour or so.

5:57 P.M

I opened my eyes, knowing how I truly felt. But there's the part of what if he didn't feel the same.

‘What did Steel say? Worth a try.’ I thought as I looked around the study but didn't see Celestia. I found a note on her chair though, so I picked it up and began to read it.

“When you're reading this, Twilight, you'll notice that I'm gone. I can't just sit and wait for answer, so I went back to the throne room and told your friends that you needed to be alone for a while. Hope it turns out good for you!”

I sighed with a smile as I crumbled up the paper and remembered what Steel did a couple of days ago with my useless notes. I saw the trash bin next to Celestia’s desk.

I raised my arms up like if I was holding a ball and launched the ball of paper, making it hit the side of the bin before landing inside.

I smirked at my little victory and walked out the door. I casted a locater spell to find Steel and found him on a balcony. I walked towards his location.

Steel Breaker

After leaving the throne room for some alone time, I had walked through countless corridors and found a in the garden.
Not going to lie, it bad quite the view of the nearby mountains, forests and Ponyville. I placed my arms on the railing as I leaned on them.

“What the hell.” I said to my recent feelings. I can't just fall in love with someone in the same month of my awakening, can I?

I pulled out a set of built in earphones from my Pip-boy and began listening to some music as I began to think on how I should feel.

I knew just the song to play as I watched the sunset. It looked like The Sky was on Fire. I banged my head to the beat of the drums.

‘How do I feel about this? This is the first time in a very long time I've felt this way. The first being with Dead Eye, weren't friends forever, at one point we decided to test the waters so to speak.’ I thought as the singing began.

‘It was amazing, but I had to go back to the Capital wasteland, ending our short but amazing relationship.’ I then began to do some air drumming.

‘I feel like a dick.’ I stopped with a sigh as I wiped my muzzle of the sweat from the heat.

I heard the distant sound of the doors opening and closing afterwards.

‘Why? Why does everything have to be so difficult!?’ I mentally shouted as I pounded my fist at the stone railing. I the buried my face in my hands.

“Steel?” I heard Twilight’s angelic voice. I lowered my hands, taking the earphones along with them and turned to look at her.

“Yeah?” I asked in a quiet tone. I noticed that she had looked nervous and...is she blushing?

“I wanted to check if you're alright, you know, after the fight.” She said as she walked a little bit closer and stood beside me.

“I'm fine, though it wasn't the fight that made me go out here.” I mentioned, blushing a little myself from being this close to her.

“Oh, then what was it?” She asked, curious to know.

“...It's nothing.” I said, to nervous to say why.

“You can tell me anything, Steel, like I said a few days ago.” She said, putting her hand on my shoulder.

“It's nothing like that, just…” I tried to continue but to no avail.

“Remember Dead eye?” I asked, earning a nod from Twilight.

“I wasn't completely truthful. She and I were in a relationship for a few months.” I said, noticing the sad look Twilight had with the mention Dead Eye and me being in a relationship.

“W-what h-h-happened?” She stuttered out, trying to act like she's okay.

“I couldn't stay in the Mojave, I had to go back to the Capital. So, on the day of my departure, we broke up. She wasn't fond of the idea of me leaving.” I said with a sad chuckle.

“She tried crippling my legs for me to be forced to stay.” I said, recalling her tantrum.

“After that, I guess I felt like I've failed her. So, if me being in love with someone means breaking their hearts, I wasn't going to find love.” I said to her.

“But recently, I broke that promise with myself.” I said to her, earning her full attention.

“I've been wanting to deny it, but I..couldn't. It felt amazing, I couldn't just straight up deny and forget.” I said to her.

“Can I ask who it is?” She said in a hurt tone. I closed my eyes, thinking if I should tell her.

‘Fuck it.’ I thought as I kissed her. Her eyes grew to the size of dinner plates but kissed back. I wrapped my arms around her as she wrapped hers around my head.

I pulled away, taking a few breaths of air as I looked at her beautiful lavender eyes.

“It's you.” I answered her question. She teared up as she smiled at me. She put a hand over her mouth in surprise to the revelation and tackled me, sending us both to the floor as we began to kiss again

“Sister, I know you mean well but war isn't the answer. We need to make amends to the ponies.” I said to my older sister.

“Shut up, Chrysalis! You have failed in taking control over Equestria. Now, I'm going to show you how it's done.” She said at me as she began to assume control over my hive.

“War won't help my changelings in their time of need!” I shouted in outrage towards her.

“Your changelings? You're not a queen, queens don't fail, they don't try to make amends with the enemy!” She shouted as she snapped her fingers, signaling two guards to arrive.

“Take her away, she has failed you all.” My sister said to them.

“You can't catch what's not here!” I said before being engulfed in green light and teleporting myself to the town near Canterlot.

I appeared only a few feet in the air and dropped to the ground hard. I shakily stood up in pain and began walking towards the town.

‘Please, please help us.’ I thought as I walked through the forest.
