Engaged Twilight and the Lost Prince
Twilight looked down at the ring on her finger, Each gemstone perfectly polished shined as it was filled with the golden sunlight pouring through her bedroom window, it displayed her cutie mark made out of pink tourmaline, and white diamonds cut in the shape of six-pointed stars. Twilight continued staring at the ring, but as she stared at it, her heart began to grow heavy with the thought of having to marry...him in a few months. Lost in thought, the teenage drake Spike went unnoticed as he came into the room. Spike hated seeing Twilight like this, Spike saw her as his mom and when he thought about the reason she was so sad though his blood began to boil and it was all because of Him!
"Twilight? It's 8:30, you ok?" Spike said somberly as Twilight gasped surprised by his entrance.
"Yea Spike I'm fine, wait it's WHAT!" Twilight screamed as she bolted from her window seat and into the bathroom. 5 minutes later she bolted out in a towel and using her magic, poofed her conference dress onto her body while yelling" SPI~IKE! Why didn't you come in earlier!"
"So~orry if I thought the queen of punctuality was on time," Spike said with a smirk flexing his wings and opening a drawer and pulling out a necklace, tiara, and a pair of gloves to help Twilight prepare. As soon as they were out they were out Twilight poofed the necklace and gloves onto her body. Twilight looked at the ensemble sheet on her vanity which showed everything she should look for the conference and used her magic to recreate the style on the paper, she then did the same for her makeup, and slipped on her shoes but before she could put on her tiara Spike spoke up " Mom, let me" he said with a smile as Twilight grew a pleased maternal look on her face full of joy and pride.
"Thanks, Spike." Twilight said as she knelt down allowing him to place the tiara on her head, he fixed it in place then stood back admiring how gorgeous she looked. Twilight's dress was made of a rare crystalline satin so that every piece sparkled like gemstones the bodice of the dress was a deep indigo that had the shine of an amethyst with a yellow pinafore that had the same kind of shimmer except it was more similar to topaz that matched the skirt and gloves, the bottom was trimmed with lace, and was very puffy and twirly as she was wearing a petticoat, her makeup was simple magenta lipstick along with blush and mascara, when he looked at her hair he could see it was done up in an up-do with a few rubies to complement her cool mocha skin, and lastly her tiara; it was made of gold with the six pointed star of Twilight's cutie mark made of pink tourmaline in the center and multiple spires surrounding it, Twilight was stunning. Sadly this moment couldn't last forever as the clock chimed 9:00 the two were pulled from their moment and Twilight steeled herself for what was to come.
"Are you sure you wanna go through with this, it's not too late to turn back," Spike pleaded a sad look in his eyes.
" I have to Spike, no matter how much I don't want to, it's my duty," Twilight said grimly, and with that, the two of them walked out of her room and into the foyer of Twilight's castle.
