Sunset woke up to a blinding headache, trying to sit stand on all fours lead to her falling a couple more times till she remembered her new body. “Celestia damn it.” Moving into a sitting position she tentatively rose her new hand to her forehead and lightly touched the center of her pain. “Hngg! Buck that hurts, note to self you're even less durable than before. And you weren’t that durable to begin with. Arggh.” Looking around you saw a sink and mirror just a foot away and started picking yourself up, a couple of dazed and awkward steps and she was there. Viewing her reflection for the first time made the situation more real, she really was an idiot. She was stuck in a new world, she couldn’t feel her magic and she had no knowledge about this world or how it worked. Taking a deep breath and slight gagging because of her surroundings, she started looking inside for her magic. After a while she found it, but couldn’t bring it out she could pull on it and feel it when she was concentrating on it, but calling it forth meet with failure. “Of course it wouldn't be that easy…” That’s when her stomach made itself known. “Well at least its dry here, i’ll just wait out the rain and find something later.” That’s when she noticed another saddlebag near hears and the ruby-haired girl laying on the floor. “Or I can steal a bit of food from them. Not like they’ll be able to find me later.” She moved over to the girls bag and eventually found some nuts and water bottles just before the rain finally stopped. “Alright time to get outta here before she wakes up, and find a good place to hole up in.” She quickly left the the bathroom and headed out of the park towards some alleys, if she could find an empty building to set up in then finding a way to live in this world would be easier. At least she hoped so, wasn’t like she had much experience on her own since the Princess snatched her up as a student so early on. Walking along the alleys she eventually came upon what seemed like a warehouse district, finding one with a slightly rusted door, she kicked it in and started scoping it out. Lot’s of dust and some metal crates, a second floor with dirty windows, two rooms on opposite ends of the second floor and a lot of tarps hanging from the rafters. Overall not a pleasant place, but it was dry and wasn’t falling apart. Looking at one of the crates, she find out that breaking off the rusted bolts let her open them up and inside she found a bunch of jars. Opening one of the jars up and she found she now had a source of food as they contained dried fruit, not the best food source but she could make it work. Eating a few of the fruits along with the nuts she stole she was no longer hunger for now, but her head was still throbbing a bit. She didn’t know what to do about that, so she just went up to the second floor and searched the rooms. The first was an old office with the only piece of furniture not rotted to uselessness being an armchair and what looked to be a safe in the corner, trying to open it just lead to her getting frustrated. The second room was a bathroom, trying out the water she found it was still flowing so she let it run till it stopped being yellow. A few cautious sips later and she’d confirmed the water wasn’t about to kill her. So she’d gotten lucky and found a good shelter, things were looking up it seemed. “私は見つけた! 盗人を酷評した! 今私に私の供給を与えなさい!” Ahh, buck you to universe! Ranma pov Ranma woke up with a groan, after the rain started she’d immediately rushed to the nearest building she could find, once inside before she could begin heating up water to change back she’d turned around and gotten head butted by a flame-headed girl. Looking around she saw that she’d lost a few hours as it was now morning when it’d been late evening when she’d been struck unconscious. *Growl* And she was starving, that’s when she notice here pack was open. She quickly rushed over and started sorting through and found that all but one of her waters were taken and her bag of assorted nuts was gone. Though it seemed whoever stole from her had tossed her jerky away as she saw it in a puddle next to a trash can. So in short she had no food and only a single bottle of water, oh she was gonna beat the shit outta this thief. Shouldering her pack, she started looking for clues as to where they’d gone. After a bit of searching she found a trail of fresh footprints in the mud leading out of the park. Following them into the alley she found a couple of muddy footprints and followed. After a bit the footprints had started to fade but she found herself in what seemed like a warehouse district. “Well this is certainly cliche.” While he hadn’t watched much movies going up he’d seen enough to know criminals always gathered in warehouses. Looking around for a hour or so she face-palmed when after searching for the one the thief was occupying she found herself back at the alley entrance and looking at a slightly rusted but ajar door. “Well I feel stupid now, let’s get this over with.” Kicking the door wide open you yell out and get into a fighting stance. “I found you! You damned thief! Now give me back my supplies!” After your yell you see the fire-headed girl from before looking at you with a deadpan expression, before turning and running into a room upstairs. “You ain’t getting away!” 3rd person As Sunset runs into and locks the door of the office she freezes as a fist punches through the metal door. Backing up and falling into the chair she stares wide eyed as Ranma punches the door separating them into scrap. Both can only think one thing. ‘Only I would end up in a situation like this.’ Unknown substances are bad 'kay(old)Ranma pov Ranma was punching away at the flimsy metal door, she was starting to feel a little better after her terrible morning. After she got the girl to apologize and give her some food to replace what was stolen and thrown, she’d make up for scaring her. She wasn’t an idiot like her father after all, she’d have to nip this problem as it was still small. Not wait for it to catch up to her years later. It was after a few more swings that noticed more resistance had been added to the door and saw that the girl had pushed a thick metal box against what was left of the door. Feeling a bit impish you send a straight kick through the box and leave it for a second. That was a stupid idea you would think later as you felt a prick on your leg and saw darkness take over your vision. Sunset pov Seeing the female monkey was almost through the door, you started panicking, you need to slow her down! Remembering the safe you start trying to move it, while heavy it was still somewhat possible to move and in your current state you weren’t really thinking about how heavy it was, just that you had to hurry. Once it’s against the door you back off just a bit and feel the strain you caused to your arms, that was gonna hurt for a while. A foot suddenly kick open the safe door from within startling you and pushing out the contents a large tube with wood attachment and a bunch of darts. Panicking you grab one of the darts and stab it into the leg of your attacker. A few seconds pass and your attacker fall over, confused you look the dart over and see it's got a syringe attached to it. Putting it next to another you see a blue liquid within the unused one. “Okay I found a knockout drug… so what’s the tube for?” Examining the tube leads you to find a small slot that you could push the darts into, a small leap in logic allows you to fire it afterword. A resounding bang goes of, but you now understand this new weapon. Filling the slot to capacity, she attached it to the leather belt within the safe and started carrying it on her back. “At least i have a way to defend myself now. So what to do with miss berserker here. Hmm.” In the end you decided to wait til they woke up and if they were still angry to use another dart on them. “Now I just gotta wait for her to wake up….. I just realized i’m trapped in this room till she wakes up. Buck!” Sitting down on the chair she keep her new tube weapon pointed at the sleeping girl and got ready to wait for a while. Two hours in and a new problem came up… “Wake up please I need you outta the way.” Still no response and you were about to pee yourself. “Come on get up! I need to go! WAKE UP!” Ranma pov You started recovering from your impromptu nap rather sluggish, sheesh what she hit you with elephant tranqs? Now in addition to being hungry you had a headache and backache probably from the awkward position you fell into. You also heard a lot of yelling that you recognized as english, guess that solved the problem of where you were. Either Europe or America, the person yelling at you sounded pleading so you take a look at her and immediately saw the problem. You in your current position had trapped her in the room as you basically made the door unopenable from the inside by driving you leg through the metal box. Add to that you could see through the holes you made that she really needed to go. But you had a slight problem there, you couldn’t extract your leg from the box, your body was still asleep even if you were somewhat awake. You could already tell this was gonna end badly, gods damn it. 3rd person Sunset watched as Ranma slowly woke up, her discomfort growing by the second. She was trapped in a room and couldn’t leave, the only person who could possibly help was still affected by the knockout drug. Well this is a predicament. Author's Note somewhat smaller, will make up for it next chapter' Two idiots make nice...somewhat(old)Ranma pov Waiting for the drug to pass here wasn’t a good idea if she didn’t want another girl angry at her, so she started to cycle her ki through her body, while mostly asleep the shot of ki drove her body from seemingly paralyzed to pin and needles. With a sluggish pull your leg was out of the box and you’d pushed it slightly away from the door, as soon as you removed your arm from the broken door the girl rushed out to the other room on the floor. A quick glance before that door closed revealed it was a bathroom, heh convenient. *GRRRROOOOWLL!* “Dammit, now I’m really hungry and still can’t move well. Don’t think I can speed it up again though I feel like I’m starving if I do. *sigh*” You lay there for a bit and wait for felling to return to your limbs properly, just thinking. Today has been bad but not any worse than some of the things you’d gone growing up. Overall not a bad start two a new journey. Hearing a door open you stop miss flame hair exit the restroom… is that a hunting rifle? So that’s how she knocked you out, and only reinforces you not using ki to speed up your recovery. The kind of tranqs those thing fire really messes with your metabolism, if you speed up recovery you’ll end up fainting from hunger. “Hey flame head you have any food here?” And she stare blankly at you, oh yeah language barrier, well shit. Sunset pov “ちょっと炎の頭部食糧をここに食べるか” Okay so you were not miss hearing things before, this world has a different language than yours. Just great, you walk over to your bag and pull out the book on general spells. You may not be capable of using your own magic currently but your gems had enough magic in them to power simple spells. Finding what you needed you pull out a small jade gem and silver strip, carving the runes into the silver with a needle then inlaying the gem cause the new ring to flash a bright white before settling. Placing the ring on you stood up and walked to the ruby hair girl, you knew what you did next wouldn’t endear you to the girl any more then everything else you’d done but the ring needed a sample of the foreign language full of emotion before it’d worked. So you started kicking the girl in the side. “何!” And again. “炎の髪の雌犬! Wh__ th_ _ell!” Once more should do it. “Annoying bitch I’m gonna beat the shit outta you!” And done. “Sorry but, not really. Needed to get this working.” you held up your new ring. “Needed you to speak with a lot of emotion, but we can at least understand each other now. Now why’d you try scaring me half to death? Depending on your answer, you may be taking another nap.” you point your tube weapon at the girl. “You threw out half my food and took the rest along with my water, of course I’m gonna go after ya and punish you, ya damn thief!” About what you expected but really you only threw out some disgusting rotting piece of corpse from her bag…. Oh god you new species was omnivorous wasn’t it. Rolling your tongue inside your mouth revealed that you indeed had new canines and incisors where before your teeth were all flat…. Well buck. “Eh-he funny story about that i thought that was a rat corpse and threw it before realizing it wasn’t.” please believe the lie, you did not need to explain you were from another world to a local. “Fine but you owe me some food thief, and fast I’m starving here.” *GGGGRRRROOOOOOOOOWWWWLLL!* Sweet Celestia, that’s a loud stomach! Well she didn’t say what type of food she wanted so you just grab the jar of dried fruit you’d already open and gave it to her. 3rd person From that point Sunset had her first encounter with the unbeatable beast called the Saotome stomach, after the first jar was finished it demanded more tribute, and Sunset had to bring five more jars before it was satisfied. She really couldn’t argue against it since this situation was her fault. In the end Sunset decided it was a needed sacrifice as Ranma went to other warehouses and got a new door and some furniture for her temporary home. The hammocks Ranma made, Sunset decided were some sort of death trap as she fell from them with the slightest movement. After Ranma was done the two of them finally learned each others names, not that it made much if a difference as the two of them liked insulting the other too much to use said names. At least for now. a lesson not heeded(old)Ranma pov It’s been three days since you met Sunset and you already were tired of her shit. She was lazy and demanding, expecting you to do the manual labor that kept the warehouse from falling in your heads. She spent most of the day reading her weird books and making magic jewelry outta her gem collection, that’s right magic jewelry. You’d figured that out after the second ring she made allowed her to levitate the various books around her head to quickly reference things from them. The one time you’d tried to snatch some gem to exchange for some cash she’d blasted you with fire! They weren’t even the most expensive looking ones! You’d come to the logical conclusion that she must be a runaway trainee witch, looking at her when she worked showed you that she wanted as much knowledge crammed into her head as quickly as possible. It occurred to you she probably ran to escape or grow stronger then her teacher, reminded you of your situation really. “Hey, flame-head! When you gonna do something productive here?” her response was a quick moving small fireball you just tilted your head to avoid. “That's not an answers you know.” “Yeah don’t care, I need to get myself equipped. At least till I get access to my magic again, and your constant badgering ain’t helping. Besides I don’t need your help your just freeloading and fixing this place isn’t gonna do much, after all a real home or base is needed. This place is a temporary shelter, your treating it as if it’s a home.” You couldn’t really say anything to that, it was pretty much true. With a sigh you stood up and got your pack, you needed to start searching for a job. You needed some money, if only to get something other than dried fruit in your stomach. You needed some rice or meat, maybe some bread. Leaving the building and jumping to the roofs you began hopping toward where you saw the people gathering. Maybe you’ll get lucky? Sunset pov Well Red was gone, and while you enjoyed insulting her you really needed to concentrate. This next piece was gonna be harder than the rest, but when it was finished you’d be able to defend yourself without carrying the gun (Red had told her what it was after you pointed it at her for trying to take her gems). What she was making now was a personal force field earring, unfortunately she already had already run out of space on her fingers. Attack and utility spells mostly, after this a maybe a regeneration spell? If she could figure out how to make one, that field of study hadn’t really been important to her before, really stupid now that she thought about it. Maybe an illusion? Than again she wasn’t very good with those, she tended to overpower and collapse the delicate spell matrix. Maybe a single point shield to compliment the force field? “Done, and I need a break. It’s been what two-three days since I left this dirty building.” Leaving the gun behind you walk out of the building for the first time in days and immediately had to duck behind a couple of barrels. Taking a cautious look from cover you saw what made you hide in the first place, five pon-people armed with smaller but sleeker looking gun were surrounding another person in a expensive looking suit. “Okay gentlemen the package should be three warehouses down this way. Let’s make this fast I have a meeting to get to in an hour, if you’ll make me miss it, it’ll be your jobs.” the suit man said. Criminals? Well this just made her curious, what were they here for and could she grab it first. After all whatever it was it’d be worth something or it could be something useful. Slipping to the side of her warehouse she activated her levitation ring and lifted herself to the roof, the man had said three warehouses down. While they had to go through the streets filled with refuse and random containers she just floated herself to it. Opening an office window and floating in she started to sneak through the building. She ended up finding the package sooner than expected, it was in the second office under a rotted desk. With it secured in her levitation field she quickly left and made it back to her warehouse. “Now let’s see just what’s in here.” A shaping knife cut through the tape binding it rather easily, and inside she found stacks of green paper and a couple of boxes. Putting the paper to the side she open the first box and found some cut magic inert gems, that was useful after she charged them up they could make more spell rings for her. The second box was lock tight but fiddling with the mechanism with your rings opened it, and ruined the lock but that wasn’t important. Inside you found a single slim black object with a silver end on one side, you had no idea what it was but if those guys wanted it had to be valuable in some way. Putting it all in your bags with a couple jars of dried fruit and the gun with its darts, you hurried out of the buildings and to the more public areas. You couldn’t stay in the warehouse for a bit, the people searching for the package would be tearing the area apart for a couple of days looking for their stuff if they were anything like their counterparts back home. Overall you profited with just the gems, but if the paper was what you thought it was you’d hit the jackpot. Now to find a way to confirm without looking like an idiot or thief, even if you technically were one now. 3rd person Sunset and Ranma had both left the area and it was just as well as the criminals had called in backup after finding the package missing. The place was practically swarming looking for said package, the money and gems were an acceptable loss but the drive. That was too valuable to lose. Without knowing it Sunset had disrupted a criminal’s bosses plans. They wouldn’t stop till they found the drive. A day at the shopping district(old)Sunset pov You were walking around what appeared to be a downtown shopping area just letting your ring absorb the language being spoken. You’d had a rather embarrassing encounter when you found that the language Red spoke wasn’t the native tongue of this place. The person she’d stopped to ask for directions to this world's equivalent to your worlds bank had looked at you in the same way the high class and noble ponies looked at foreigners. At least that gave you a possible story if the locals questioned you, all you had to do was say you were new to the country and that your documents were stolen from you. So now you were just walking around letting the ring absorb the language while keeping a slight accent from Red’s language, a perfect disguise. That it would also neatly explain her not knowing the local currency to well. After an hour or two of passively gathering some low emotion voices her ring’s spell matrix had a passable understanding of the language, and had given her a distinctive accent. With that she attempted to once again talk to some pon=person? Body? Well horse-apples it seems she didn’t make grammar a priority to the ring, so even though in translated her words to the chosen language and automatically translated perfectly for her it wouldn’t make her sound…. She’s gonna sound like an idiot unless she actually put some effort into learning the language. “This, could be problem.” “Hey girl, what are you doing outta school!” turning you saw a blue-haired guy coming towards you, he was wearing some sort of uniform and you could see some sort of boxy weapon attached to his belt. Not knowing what the uniform meant you turned and ran, you could escape into the alleys. Of course it wasn’t that simple, the alley you’d chosen had been fenced. You activated you ring and floated yourself over before running again only to hear a pair of feet land behind you. Taking a look you saw the the guy had vaulted over the fence and was still after you. Thinking of how to escape you activate another ring and point it to the floor behind you. *zap gloop* And reliquidfied the concrete before putting more effort into running, taking a quick look back you saw the guy actually jump over the liquid cement. “Bucking seriously!” You reactivate the telekinetic ring and launched yourself to the nearest roof, only to feel two pinpricks on the back of your leg. There was a brief flash of pain and your vision blackened. Ranma pov While looking down from the roof of the shopping district you’d found a boiler closet and switched back into a guy for the first time in three days. But knowing how the curse seemed to attract water to you, you’d done a simple test and meditated for an hour in the middle of some leaky pipes. It had occurred to you while watching Flame-head that magic could be predicted and controlled, so why not try to master the curse? After staying female for three days it seemed that the water attraction part of the curse had relaxed, so there had to be some sort of balance that would allow you to stay male when you wanted to. The trick was to find the tipping points for both and stay in between them when possible, you’d found that staying three days in curse form at least was needed for the curse to relax, but how much till you needed to activate it again? “Heh, a problem for later. I least I have a starting point now.” Jumping from the roof to the street below you joined the crowd and started looking around for a sign he could read, with all the different writing styles he was seeing he was pretty sure he was in the United States, Canada, or Mexico. The people hear spoke in english so probably the U.S. or Canada, then again there is Britain but it was prone to rain there a lot and with his luck it would of rained for a bit each day if this was Britain. “I’ll find out soon enough, oh! A Sushi bar! Real food! Wait, do I have local money?” Ducking into an alley and jumping to the roof, you start searching your pack you eventually find an old crumpled fifty American and two twenty Canadian loonies. Heh thank the kami that Genma had thought him to keep multiple currencies on tap for emergencies, even if you had to keep restocking when he eventually stole your cache. Slipping the three bills into your pocket you packed up and jumped down. A small but actually satisfying meal later you were broke but knew for a fact you were in America, on a border city in the north called Canterlot. He found out most shops and restaurants would take both currencies, with that info in hand you start looking around for hiring signs, the old man running the sushi shop had let him see his so he could know what to look for. While you found a few places they wouldn’t hire you due to your age, they somehow knew when you were lying about it to. So with an unsuccessful few hours you took to the roofs for a break, but hear a familiar voice cry out in shock. “Sunset!” Rushing to the edge of the roof and looking into the alley you see her hit the ground and stop moving, two thin wires stuck to her leg sending out small sparks. With a yell you jump down and rip off the wires before turning to her attacker. A young adult man in a blue uniform stared at you incredulously as you held the still live wires in your head and glared at him. Before he seemed to let training take over and disconnected the current wires for a new set, and stared you down. 3rd person The two men stared at each other watching every move their opponent made, sizing each other up. Two set of blue eyes deadlocked at each other. Then as if on a silent signal Ranma rushed forward and the officer pulled the trigger of his stun gun. Never underestimate an unknown(old)Shining Armor p.o.v. It was official, he was demoted again. Lieutenant Carter just kept looking for any error on his part, from his actions in the field and his mission reports. The man was out to get him, and he didn’t even know why. Worse his Parents had taken another trip leaving him to care of Twilight again, he was so glad Cadence was still willing to watch her even when working for her degree. He’d been stupid to join the police academy straight outta Crystal Prep, but he’d hadn’t wanted to waste time on college when it wasn’t required. But for some reason he couldn’t fathom his direct superior hated him, it had only taken a month for his first promotion and two weeks later he was demoted. He’d worked himself to the bone and managed to get promoted again after a year, now two months later a simple error on his latest report on one of the gangs active in the city had gotten the S.W.A.T. Captain a stay in the hospital, and he’d been demoted again. Now he was stuck doing parking meter duty for a few weeks and it’d probably take him two or three years this time to get promoted again. Add that Twilight was home sick for the past two days and that he’d needed the money for the doctors' appointment, and things had gone to shit. He tried not to use the stipends their parents sent them monthly in a silent bid to be independent but family came first, he’d have to cave this time. As he turned the corner into the business section of the city he started looking for timed out parking meters. An hour later, and he had already written out ten tickets and was quickly becoming bored. “C’mon something has to happen soon or my brains gonna melt from boredom.” That’s when he spotted a girl around Twilight’s age walking around on the streets. ‘What’s that girl doing outta class? Well I can’t let her go now that I spotted her.’. “Hey girl, what are you skipping school!” you yell out while walking towards her, no reason to startle her. She turns to you before taking off toward the alleys, well now maybe you should have been nearer before calling her out. So off you go chasing a girl your sister’s age into an alley, and holy shit is she floating! Now a normal person would’ve stopped and gawked but well you knew weird shit can happen, such as when Twilight built a working jet-pack and brained herself on the ceiling when she was six. Or when your parents sent home the occasional cursed item that had to get sanctified and then locked away, just in case it didn’t stick. So you were used to the fantastical already, it’s why you became a cop, to get away from it for a bit each day. But now, magic or mad science has invaded your NORMAL day job…. Well you weren’t letting it have the last laugh today, vaulting over the fence you continued the chase. When she blasted the cement a few feet in front of you to liquid, you just jumped over it. When she started floating again you were ready, you unsheathed your stun gun and aimed for her back. You missed and hit her leg, but she was down at least, now all you had to do was take her to the nearest school to see where she belonged and take her there. Of course that’s when another teen, this time male, jumped from the roof nearby and ripped the nodes off the girls leg and held the still sparking nodes in his hand. Well this wasn’t good. Ejecting the current round form your stun gun for a new one you took stock of the situation. One pissed of boy capable of surviving a four story jump to the ground, and capable of holding an electric node that would knock out a guy twice his size and muscle mass. A knocked out magic using girl who could wake up any second. Yourself a bored cop who didn’t want to deal with the fantastical. Well not as if you could actually win here, but surrendering to something magical or superhuman wasn’t in your nature. Staring into the teens eyes you readied your stun gun. And suddenly the world was blurred as you found yourself thrown into a wall, moving on instinct you avoided the kids follow-up kick and jammed your stun gun into his inner thigh. He flinches for a second allowing you to move away and reload, once he rips the cords out you slam your weapon into his neck and pull the trigger. He convulses for a few seconds as you eject and then load your final cartridge, before slamming it into his back and fire off your last shot. As he falls to his knees and you use the moment to slam your now empty gun to the back of his head. Only for him to dodge and hit your chest with donkey kick, you feel yourself fly before you hit the wall. You force yourself out of your dazed state in time to see the teen had jumped to the roofs and run away with the girl in his arms. “Dammit, I just know this is gonna bite me in the ass later.” you groan as you pick yourself up. You take out your phone and notice your lunch break was starting soon, you also had to take something home for Twilight. “Looks like it’s Chinese takeout time, some ginseng soup should help Twily get better.” And with that you limp back to your car. Ranma p.o.v. Damn that cop got you good, you thought the initial throw would daze him longer, but he surprised you with that shot to your leg. That combo afterward would’ve knocked you out if he’d connected with that final hit. 'You got lucky' you’d thought he wouldn’t stand a chance and underestimated him, you wouldn’t next time. You stopped on a roof just a few jumps off the warehouse you’d been living in and duck behind an air unit, the reason? There’s a lot of guys ripping through it and the other warehouses, and they were packing a lot of guns. Enough to make even you weary, setting Sunset down you creep to the edge of the roof and take a closer look. There had to be at least a hundred guys down there, all armed with rifles and shotguns. Whatever had happened had put them on the warpath. It wasn’t safe here. But where could you go? Getting back to Sunset, you pick her up and start jumping away. You eventually end up in what you believe is a residential sector in front of a large purple house. It looks liked it hadn’t had any decent repair done in years. So finding a window near the roof you slip into the attic and lay out your bedroll for Sunset to rest on. After you lay her down you decide to take a nap to help your body recover from the shock damage that been done to it, as you’re about to close your eyes you felt something heavy hit the back of your head. Before you pass out you catch a glimpse of a sick looking purple haired girl holding a baseball bat with rockets attached to it. a genius and misfortune(old)Author's Note Tried something new tell how you like it please. a genius and misfortune(old) “Achoo! Achoo!” Twilight dropped her rocket bat as her latest sneezing fit started. She shouldn't be up and about right now, but her self built silent alarm system had gone off. So she grab one of harder hitting gadgets and snuck up to the attic. Then she’d waited till the intruder had dropped his guard and struck! Unfortunately this caused dust to rise resulting in her current sneezing fit. “Next time I’m putting on a doctors mask. Now let’s see who we got here…” Picking up your bat you first poke the guy before flipping him over and- “Whoa, hot guy. Wait, no getting distracted Twilight. Got to find some rope and tie them up for the cops, or Shining. He should be here soon right?” Taking your glasses out of your pocket and putting them on, you than flip a small switch to turn on the mini HUD you’d attached to it and checked the current time. “12:48. Yeah, he’s going to be here soon. Now where did I leave that rope last time?” Plodding back down to your room you open your closet, and move aside as your closet disgorges its contents to the floor. Digging through the heap of failed or incomplete gadgets, gizmos, and various tools you search for your rope. After ten minutes of searching you find it after tripping and seeing it under your bed, embarrassed at your mistake you re stuff your closet and head back to your attic. Tying up the guy’s and girl’s arms behind their backs and then together you were pretty sure they couldn't escape…. Easily. That’s when you notice one of the packs with the sun motif had fallen over, moving to put away the stuff you freeze. Were those money stacks? Picking one up you see a hundred dollar bill staring back at you before slowly moving each bill aside to find more. In a panic you upturn the bag and see a large mountain of gems, gold and silver bars, and around fifty more money stacks fall out. Your mind blanks, and you slowly turn to see the two still out apparent thieves? Bank robbers? Gangsters? We’ll whoever they are they’re obviously dangerous if they had this much loot. You definitely got lucky with your sneak attack, but now you had bigger problems. Reaching over to the other bag and opening it you freeze as a gun barrel points out at you, you carefully remove it and continue to look through the bag. Finding a couple jars of dried fruit, some books in a language you couldn’t read but seemed to glow in a soft light, some tranq ammo, and a pen drive? Heading back to your room you boot up one of the old laptops you hadn’t taken apart for parts, you weren’t gonna put an unknown drive in one of your personal computers. Making sure it couldn’t connect to the net, you inserted the drive and ran a basic virus scan. Coming up empty you open the drive see you’d avoided a trap on the drive, if you’d had been connected to the net your location and the drives would be known by whoever was looking for it. You spent a bit of time disabling that and then set it to reveal hidden files, when over fifty password locked files appeared you gave of a small grin. A challenge! You open your desk drawer and retrieved one of your hacking devices and connected it the laptop and got drawn into breaking the security. Sunset groaned as she awoke, she was aching and still felt the damage from whatever hit her. Trying to move her arm and finding herself unable to do so, she snapped to full awareness. “Okay, where am I? How’d I get here?” Then her eyes landed on her upturned bags… “If anypon-body took something I’m gonna set them on fire. Wait ….MY RINGS!” Sending magic into her finger she felt her rings respond before letting out a sigh of relief. “Good, now lets get free.” A bit of concentration and a small flame started burning whatever restraints were holding her while using her telekinetic ring to repack her bags. No sense leaving it all out on the floor when she could secure her stuff and escape at the same time. Of course that’s when an exposed pipe above you bursts and drenches you completely, at the same time whatever you were backed up against shifted and fell over taking you with it and putting your face directly under the watery deluge. The next few seconds were spent by you panicking then remembering you had a shield ring and activating it. You were so glad there was no one around to witness that… A feeling of dread fills as you instinctively turn your head and see Ranma lying next to you and grinning and slowly pointing up at the pipe than at you. Yep she saw that and was apparently what you were tied to. Yep you were gonna burn the person who’d caused this humiliation, you swear to yourself. A New Beginning in Chaos( new chapter one)It was raining. That was your first thought as you stepped out to the other side of the portal before falling to your knees, your body not taking the transition well. You adjust yourself so you sitting looking back from where you came, it gleaming glass surface silently beckoning you to go back. To talk things over with your teacher and maybe get her to see you were ready, that you could stand by her side as an equal. But that might not be possible anymore. Everything you’d said in anger you did not want to take back. You felt that everything you’d said were the truthful facts of the matter, you knew they weren’t but still felt that way all the same. Yet all you could see now was that last image before you took the plunge, of the single tear your teacher shed as you said that you hoped she’d stay alone forever. You’d all but volunteered to be there for her as an alicorn alongside her for the rest of time, you her student the one who’d devoted everything to the one pony you’d thought of as family… But you’d still cut that bond the one thing the two of you had shared, for what magical power? Immortality? Knowledge? No you knew why… You’d become greedy, you wanted everything right then. But she’d said that wasn’t your destiny, that it couldn’t happen. Now here you were letting the rain soak your new form to hide the tears streaming down your face, the tears you caused yourself to shed by leaving the one pony ever to give you the time of day. Who’d taken in the street urchin who’d conquered an alley in the hidden darkness of Canterlot for her and the other urchins. Who had attacked her when she came to help the other foals by taking them somewhere safe, who’d stood there as a little filly sent blast after blast at her and her guards. You let out a chuckle as you thought back to that encounter how your blast had knocked out two of the guards, how even your strongest blast hadn’t dirtied her fur as she got closer to you younger self. How you’d finally collapsed in exhaustion after nearly fifteen minutes of continuous blasting and blanked out. Only to wake up in a large bed under her wing before she’d directed you to your flank and you saw you new mark. It was then you’d been made her student and she taught you everything she could and you took it upon yourself to be the best for her. But now your here with only two bags, one full of books and tools and the other full of precious metals and gems, to call your own. All because of your blasted pride. You reach out with your new forelimb and touch the surface of the now solid portal as you watched your new form cry while soaked, you’d truly messed up this time. But you had no one to blame but yourself for this. Trying to walk in this new body was an embarrassing affair, the fact that it took you ten tries to figure out that no you were not a quadruped anymore but bipedal instead had your tears and rain soaked face burning red. But once you figured out the balancing act that was walking it had gotten easier, picking up your bags and carrying them while walking though was something you hope nopony ever found out about. It was the walk to find someplace to wait out the rain that you saw somepony jumping from roof to roof, trying to summon your magic to get to the roof yourself led to the discovery that your magic while not gone was buried deep and that without a horn to focus it through. Well you’d effectively been turned into an earth pony, how embarrassing, from one of the strongest Unicorns in centuries to a practically magic less earth pony variant of whatever you currently were. Luckily you had a way around that, the old books and scrolls about the portal had been real quick to state that the other side of the portal had no magic, you though had a different theory. Taking out one of the horn-rings you prepared and placed it on one of the ten new digits on your fore hooves and focused on your magic, and shattered those old fogies theories to pieces as you lifted off. This world had magic it was just tuned differently then Equestria. Equestria was harmonious in it magic and thus so were its inhabitants but this world was on the opposite end of the scale, this world was chaotic in it’s magic thus all you needed was a converter matrix to change your magic to a form compatible with the world around you, which gave you your magic. Unfortunately you forgot to take into account that it was still chaos magic and thus had a mind of it’s own. You let out a shriek as you blasted off surrounded by a corona of very loud, red magic directly at the jumping figure, as they turn to see what was causing the noise your eyes meet right before your forehead and hers collided with an incredibly painful smack and everything went dark. You were tending your latest bruises and lumps from your most recent encounter with Akane’s Mallet-Chan. Though this time you kinda deserved it, at least in part. Shampoo had returned today but her agenda had changed, instead of trying to kill you she’d been trying to seduce you. First by appearing while you were in bath though you’d thought she was a caaaa- furry devil at first, then she’d jumped on you in your panic you’d went into the water to escape. That just made it worse as when you came up for air, so did a naked Shampoo who proceeded to envelop you in a tight hug. Than Akane had walked in… So now here you were on the edge of town waiting for night to fall so you could sneak back to the Tendo’s home, you’d wrapped your bigger bruises in some herb paste covered leaves to reduce swelling and heal faster. But the more you thought of going back the more you cringed at the idea. All that would happen would be the continuation of your current troubles, and you were tired of it. The only thing was you had nothing on you to even attempt leaving… right? The more you thought about it, the more one thought came up. Did it really matter? After all you’d survived on the road with nearly nothing to your name for years already. So what if this was a bit more extreme than before you could do it and it didn’t matter that this was what Pops would do. He was your father no matter what you thought about it so emulating him for once was just par for the course. Besides he’s the reason for most of your current troubles anyway. So course of action planned you started carefully laying false trails all around the district making sure you weren’t scene, and snagging a set of delinquent style clothing that was hanging outside on a clothes-line before undoing you’re signature pigtail and fashioning your hair into a pomperder before retying it in place with your dragon whisker. You’re new disguise in place you head for deeper Tokyo into Yakuza territory. It didn’t take you long to find a group of them fawning over some photos of that new Sailor Senshi group taking out demons in the Juuban district. It made them ridiculously easy to ambush and loot for cash you made sure to snatch a pair of gloves off one of them first though and place them on. No need to leave any clues in the form of fingerprints for Nabiki to track you down. You ended up finding around three hundred thousand yen combined on them, along with a few rings and knives, but the real treasure was the passport. You grab the photos as well, Nabiki had basically shown you good enough photos can sell for a good price and the Senshi were popular overseas from what you heard so some picture’s of them would net you some decent cash wherever you went. Next stop was the airport, you just needed to be careful about this. Finding a photo booth along the way was a stroke of luck, you took a couple of pictures making them as professional as you could and getting a few dozen copies of each finding the best one you use your ki to cut out the original picture in the passport and replace it with yours. It wouldn’t stand up to a professional but a ticket clerk wouldn’t see the difference unless they took a closer look. Making it to the airport and through customs was a bit problematic because of your disguise but you put on the act of a surely delinquent well enough to pass on through and distract from your altered passport and soon enough you were on an economy seat on a plane to America. With luck you Pops, Shampoo, and Nabiki wouldn’t think to look there, after all your obvious choice woulda been China to look for a cure. But you knew that America had to have its own type of magic so maybe you’d find a cure there, add in how big America was and it would make hiding easier. The flight was long and you kept up your act to avoid the other passengers questioning the well behaved delinquent, and managed to make it though. You exchange you remaining yen at the customs office and left to find the first train out of the area before buying a ticket and boarding you had no idea where you were heading but that made disappearing a lot easier in the long run. You arrive to a quiet seeming city apparently called Canterlot just in time for it to start raining, there’s your bad luck you were wondering where it went. Taking a moment to orient yourself to take to the roofs to find a hotel to stay the night in, a few roofs into your search and you hear what sounds like a firework flying towards you and turn just in time to take a headbutt from a flying girl. It hurt but after being hit on the hit so much recently it didn’t phase you much. Not so much for the girl though, sighing you pick her and her bags up before continuing on. Finding a hotel you rent a room for two and head inside, you place her bags down near her bed before putting some towels on her bed then her on top of that, following that with a thin sheet. You leave it at that before taking off your wet jacket and pant putting them over some chairs to dry before getting in your bed for the night. Hopefully this act of kindness didn’t bite you in the ass later. Author's Note So a few months ago while rereading what I'd written I realized that I'd messed up and had written myself into a corner in that everyone of the characters were gonna be hostile to each other and it'd take to much to fix it. Then it came to me that my old writing quite frankly sucked A$$ and had so many mistakes so I decided to take a break and rewrite my outline and find a way to make it flow better as well as find a beta. I believe I've achieved all this but the beta with this new Chapter one, and will be continuing from here. Hopefully I've made the right decision. Realizations and Settling inMorning came and you placed your now dry pants and jacket on before heading out, you had about two hours before the sun started raising and you needed to put them to use. Your current clothing would help with that. So fixing your hair as you jumped you start to look for the bad parts of town, you needed money and a delinquent beating up gang bangers was just to easily a believable way to do it. As long as you limit yourself to street brawling you should be fine and keep form drawing attention from the wrong people and if they had anything to illegal than you could turn it into the police since America had those finder laws that gave a small bounty for getting illegal drugs and weapons off the streets. It didn’t take that long to find a gang tagged and graffitied wall so from there you started a basic search pattern, Pops had taught you this so you could hunt for the two of you on the training trip but it was useful for other ventures such as this. You found a group of five smoking and chatting in a one way alley to your surprise, Yakuza would never trap themselves like that. Maybe a cultural difference? Heading to the start of the alley and jumping down from the roof, you slip on your gloves and place a snarl on your face and slouching looking like the typical Japanese punk before walking in. they saw you pretty quickly, quick enough that you were slightly impressed by their awareness. Wouldn’t matter though. “Hey Bitch this here is our turf, find somewhere else to go before we make you!” huh the smallest one is taking the lead the others backing him readily. Must be another difference in culture your gonna have to do some research on how American gangs work for next time. “Now why would I listen to a bunch of bottom feeders like you, I do what I want, yah damn yanks.” now to wait for them to take the bait. The short one grab a small pistol from his belt and shot a round before finding your fist in his face, the others were quick to come to his aid and started swinging pipes, knives and fists in your direction. You were honestly impressed they coordinated well for people without training cover for each other so you couldn’t get a punch in while limiting yourself so much, at least until one of them tripped. Knocking the fallen one out with a kick to his temple the fight suddenly turned as you landed a wild haymaker into the next punk sending him flying into the alleys wall. The other two followers found themselves knocked out with a headbutt and mule kick respectively, leaving only the short guy left who tossed his gun aside and unwrapped a chain form his waist. Next thing you know he’s keeping out of range and hitting your limbs with the chain at every opportunity he could, you gotta admit the kid was good. If you’d been the typical Japanese delinquent he woulda won, but your you. Catching the chain on your arm you pull him in and hit him with a vicious headbutt following that up by kneeing his gut, as he tried to regain his bearings knock him out with a side kick to the head. It was only after he hit the ground that you realize that you’d been in female from the whole time as a length of bright red hair fell into your face from your disrupted hairdo. Oops. Well too late to change that now besides you need to loot and then take the illegal stuff to the police. You feel really cold. You think as you sit up on the bed you have know idea how you got in, but all that wasn’t important, what was though was the fact that this body needed a bathroom and you turning red trying to figure out if that at least was the same as ponies. As it turned out it was similar enough that you could figure it out, but then you run into the problem that the clothes you were wearing were still wet from the rain. Taking them off proved to be a trail of annoyance as you kept falling over and having the tight cloth cling to you. After what must of been around thirty or so minutes you’ve gotten them and the death trap somehow wrap on your chest off and positioned around the room to dry, and were thus bored. You figured that since the mirror portal deemed to give you clothes at all meant that your current species probably didn’t go around nude regularly so you were stuck inside till they dried and you manage to put that death trap back on as with it off you back was starting to hurt form the new weighs on your chest. For Celestia’s sake you’d never had a foal so why did your new body have your bucking udders grown out and placed so awkwardly on your chest instead of where they should be. Whatever species you’d become was so inefficient, at least the transformation didn’t change your diet...right? Having a bad feeling you ran your tongue against your teeth and are horrified to find canines and incisors dominated your mouth, the few molars you had were also incredibly sharp meaning they were probably meant for meat as well. Now you felt worse about this then before, hopefully you weren’t a complete carnivore and could survive on some fruit and vegetables. If not… *Growl* Seriously! *Grooooowll* Buck you too stomach! This is a serious issue! *GRROOWWWL* You sit on the floor and just curl up in misery. Finding a police station to turn in the goods you’d looted wasn’t too hard, but having to sit and make a statement on the encounter (in which you made yourself out to be the victim of the assault). But in the end you got a decent amount of $200, and figured it was time to get breakfast for yourself and your guest. Maybe Chinese? You hadn’t had Yili Marou in a while, would they even serve that in the states well you’d find out. If not some Tieban Niurou would definitely be available as everyone loved to eat beef in the states. You couldn’t wait. Author's Note little shorter then the last one and because this story will be going into some of the darker issues Sunset would have face when she first went to the human world I have raise this from teen to mature to be safe. Everyone usually just skips that part but I won't! Progress and ConflictIt’d been almost half an hour since you had a small break down, and you’d mentally recovered enough to start exploring the room. The black screen was the first thing you’d examined and finding a few buttons along its side caused it to light up, you eventually figured out how to use it. So far it’d seemed like those new game boxes that were being developed back home, just not a game and maybe more advanced. Finding the controller in the bedside drawer had help and now you were learning a bit about the world you were in, though why there were so many stations with mating as a focus had you scratching your head in confusion. Wouldn’t stuff like that be better around when the yearly cycle hit? After an accident of dropping the controller under the bed and almost traumatizing yourself from a cooking show that was cooking up what appeared to be a cows removed rib cage. You found an educational station though watching a lion jump onto and kill a zebra by ripping out its throat had been almost as traumatizing, still a few minutes of watching had shown you that most of the sentient species of your world were mostly dumb animals here. It was a sleight load of your worries at least if you ate any meat, which you still didn’t know if it was necessary to, that it wouldn’t be you committing what amounted as murder for every meal. Well there would still be an animal killed but it wouldn’t be an intelligent being, you needed to do some research on that to be sure. The next segment at least was more informative, nuclear reactors and the bombs such a thing wasn’t even a concept back home and showed just what this world without active magic was capable of. Than the horrifying thought of them learning to control magic occurred alongside them discovering the mirror portal…. Celestia damn it! How were you supposed to keep that from happening! Also, how were you supposed to get better at your magic if you had to hide it, even relearning control due to the different source in this world would get you caught… Having no good ideas and needing to distract yourself you started changing the station till you ran into something really colorful. Why were the characters using what looked liked magic and fighting each other, were those giant beams of mana they were shooting at each other! Wait if this type of concept was something already thought of… You spent the next two hours of what was named a marathon of the show, apparently it wasn’t magic but something called ki. But the difference was negligible magic could be made to look the same way, and thus you could just say it was ki, the fact that the show was colorful was probably to keep young ones watching while still learning. The show even showed only those that worked at it could only hope to use it and with the example of one character some who did still couldn’t use it. It was the solution to you’re training dilemma, and you could cheat at it! You found your bags and brought out some bullion and gems you had some work to do. You’re on your way back to your hotel room carrying a bag with quite a few containers of Chinese food, which in the end you decided on vegetable noodles and pork dishes due to the ridiculous prices (maybe this is why pops preferred to dine and dash whenever possible), when you ran into trouble. Or more literally it ran into you in the form of a lavender haired girl running from some gangsters. “Couldn’t escape could you girl, your gonna pay for your Bro arresting our buds! Foreign girl hand her over or join her!” while he’d been speaking his friends had surrounded you and the girl, she was shaking hard from some of the looks and jeers of the gangsters. Not even responding to them you lift up the girl and jump to a nearby roof. “Eh, mind looking after this for me. Kay thanks.” you didn’t really give her a chance to answer as flung yourself back down while landing on one of the punks head. “Now then you fools think ya can just attack a defenseless girl huh, well let’s change the rolls shall we.” Before the one standing on can react he’s flying from your throw into two of his friends and like that the flood gates opened. Carving and shaping the gold was so much easier with these new limbs then hooves. That had been a surprise and the first good thing to happen since finding yourself in this world, but really it was because it usually took you hours to shape a ring back home. The reason, you couldn’t use magic to craft them. The gold or silver had to be prepared without magic then inscribed with the proper runes, then have the right inert gems put in place. It was only at the end that you sent the first spark of magic into the ring, causing the enchantment to activate and become self powering. Already you were near finished and it's only taken you an hour instead of the usual fifteen(if you didn’t make a mistake in some way), now all that was left was to spark it… with the chaos ring… Arranging the pillows of the room into a wall you sent out the spark and immediately got blasted by a wave of smoke as it hits. ‘Cough cough’ “Why smoke?’cough’” At least it dissipated quickly. Once you recovered you picked up your new ring and place it on. “Please work...” Channeling your magic through the new ring a flash happens and then a small orb appears and floats a hoof above your forelimb. Feeling excited you mentally cause it grow and shrink at random before flattening and spinning it causing a high-pitched screech to sound. “YES!” You spend the rest of your time alone playing around with the different ways you could use this. Okay this was getting tedious now. You’d put the first ten gangsters down easily enough, but one of them had at some point gotten word out to their buddies, and now you were fighting at least thirty of them every time you put one down another would take their place. It was obvious they wanted the girl for some reason more than you’d original thought, especially if they were willing to cause this much of a scene to capture her. It was getting to the point you thought you might have to drop plain brawling and take it up a level, as they were starting to score some hits in. Lucky for you that didn’t happen. ‘Whiiiiiirrrrr’ Around both sides of the street came six police cruisers that surrounded the group, you took this chance to jump back to the roof you left the lavender girl at as the fight left the gangster, and they tried to run away. While quite a few were caught by the officers the majority got away, you lifted the girl and jumped back down near one of the officers. “Oi, I don’t know why, but they were chasing her. Anyway ya got things handled cause I gotta go, the foods getting cold and my buddy gotta have woken up by now. Any reason I need to stay for or can I go?” “Do you have someway we can get in touch with you for a statement?” “Ya sure got a hotel room I staying in for a few days you can find me there.” after giving the officer your hotel room number you headed back to said hotel. Only to have to dodge a bright ball as soon as you opened the door. “Oops! Sorry!” said the naked girl on one of the beds. Kami dammit… Why did things like this always happen to you? The beginnings of Chaos(old)Ranma's pov "Ranma-no-baka!" Akane, my "fiance", screeches as she hit me out the window, again. Landing in the koi pond my curse activated. What curse? I hear you asking. Why the one that turns me female of course! Still wondering what I'm talking about? Well it goes like this. Ever since I was a young kid my father and I have been on a training trip. A trip where I was subjected to many injury inducing "training exercises". Being tied to moving boat while being dragged under the water! Having to carry a pack full of bloody meats while, being chased by a pack of hungry wolves! Or worse of all, being tied up and wrapped in fish sausages and then tossed into a pit full of starving, flea-bit'n, little Demons called CATS...... Where was I? Oh yeah The Curse. That was also the result of my fathers training trip of torture. We traveled to a secluded training ground called Junsenkyo that consisted of multiple pools of water with bamboo poles sticking out of them. What we didn't know was that each of those pools had a different curse on them. The end result? I now change into a girl when splashed with cold water.... My life sucks..... So why am I still here? "yeah, why am I still here?" I ask in a whisper. I don't need these people or their schemes. "What schemes?" I bet you're wondering. Let me explain. Ever since I got to Nerima and met my 'fiance' I have been subjected to more torture and blame in such a short amount of time. That I sometimes wish I was still on the training trip! For example in the last three hours I've been hit by to tables over the head, had my dinner stolen by my father, been beaten down when Akane walked into the bathroom and saw me naked even though I put up the occupied sign, been forced into girl form twice, had more blows to the head from multiple pieces of furniture than in the rest my life and had to pay to replace all the damaged furniture by that greedy ice queen sister of my fiance... That's it! I'm outta here! Life alone somewhere else would be better than this. With this liberating idea in my head I sneak into the house. I gather my belongings into my pack and slip off toward where I saw the train station. As soon as I get there I realize I don't have any money on me. But I know what to do in this situation I silently but quickly climb on top of the train and ride on it toward Tokyo. Within a few minutes the airport comes into view. I jump down and then climb over the fence. Seeing a plane being loaded with baggage. I sneak aboard and hide among the bags. Once the door clicks closed and the plane starts moving, I come out of hiding. Looking in the bags for something to do, I eventually find a few books and settle down for a long ride. ...A long flight later... I feel the plane touching down and get ready to escape, I open a large rolling bag and stuff myself inside. When I feel myself get thrown I take a peek out of the bag and find myself on a belted ramp moving me toward bag retrieval . I slip out and head for an exposed vent. Luckily it leads straight up. I come out on the roof and find a sign off in the distance saying 'WELCOME TO CANTERLOT' Sunset's pov Well this day couldn't have gone worse…. I just had to go through that mirror portal during its final seconds open didn't I? Had to go out looking cool and defiant to my former mentor, with no way to return.... “Celestia damn-it!” I'm an idiot, now I'm stuck in the dark cold night alone in a new world in a body I can barely walk in, and in a fit of greater idiocy I left my money and food saddlebag on the other side of the now closed portal. Thankfully i remembered to pick up the the bag full of magic regents, gems, and books so it wasn’t a total disaster. Oh, your probably who I am aren't you, I'm Sunset Shimmer. I used to be a unicorn pony and student of Princess Celestia. That is until she started holding me back and denying me some of the more powerful spells available…such as so-called 'dark' magic… Celestia damn-it! Do these hairless overgrown monkeys even regulate their weather… I'm freezing in this fur-less new body, not to mention feeling quite sick after attempting to eat a flower I found in what I'm assuming is a park. Well at least I still have my research satchel..... wish i had someplace warm to wait out the night though..... I miss home already.... I get up and start stumbling my way to the innermost area of the park. If I'm stuck outside tonight I'd rather be somewhere hard to spot and there's a tightly grouped set of bushes and trees I'll be able to turn into a small barrier to keep me hidden. Just then a sudden rainstorm started. "Oh , Buck me! As if things weren’t bad enough!" 3rd person pov A now thoroughly soaked Sunset rushed to the only shelter available now that it started raining, the public bathrooms getting inside quickly and slipping because of a puddle she crashed head first into a wall, a least that’s what she thought before she passed out, she wouldn't notice till the next morning that she hadn't hit the wall, but the head of a thoroughly knocked out ruby-haired, pig-tailed girl. In the years to come these two would come to see this unpleasant encounter as the start of many of their future troubles as well as the first time they met the only person as driven as themselves and the day they truly found someone with as much back luck as the themselves.
It doesn't pay to steal(old)Sunset pov. ‘Only I would end up in a situation like this.’
Unknown substances are bad 'kay(old)Ranma pov Ranma was punching away at the flimsy metal door, she was starting to feel a little better after her terrible morning. Author's Note somewhat smaller, will make up for it next chapter'
Two idiots make nice...somewhat(old)Ranma pov Waiting for the drug to pass here wasn’t a good idea if she didn’t want another girl angry at her, so she started to cycle her ki through her body, while mostly asleep the shot of ki drove her body from seemingly paralyzed to pin and needles.
