Wild Horse meets Equestian Girls
A New Beginning in Chaos( new chapter one)
Previous ChapterNext ChapterIt was raining.
That was your first thought as you stepped out to the other side of the portal before falling to your knees, your body not taking the transition well. You adjust yourself so you sitting looking back from where you came, it gleaming glass surface silently beckoning you to go back. To talk things over with your teacher and maybe get her to see you were ready, that you could stand by her side as an equal. But that might not be possible anymore.
Everything you’d said in anger you did not want to take back. You felt that everything you’d said were the truthful facts of the matter, you knew they weren’t but still felt that way all the same. Yet all you could see now was that last image before you took the plunge, of the single tear your teacher shed as you said that you hoped she’d stay alone forever. You’d all but volunteered to be there for her as an alicorn alongside her for the rest of time, you her student the one who’d devoted everything to the one pony you’d thought of as family…
But you’d still cut that bond the one thing the two of you had shared, for what magical power? Immortality? Knowledge?
No you knew why…
You’d become greedy, you wanted everything right then. But she’d said that wasn’t your destiny, that it couldn’t happen.
Now here you were letting the rain soak your new form to hide the tears streaming down your face, the tears you caused yourself to shed by leaving the one pony ever to give you the time of day. Who’d taken in the street urchin who’d conquered an alley in the hidden darkness of Canterlot for her and the other urchins. Who had attacked her when she came to help the other foals by taking them somewhere safe, who’d stood there as a little filly sent blast after blast at her and her guards.
You let out a chuckle as you thought back to that encounter how your blast had knocked out two of the guards, how even your strongest blast hadn’t dirtied her fur as she got closer to you younger self. How you’d finally collapsed in exhaustion after nearly fifteen minutes of continuous blasting and blanked out. Only to wake up in a large bed under her wing before she’d directed you to your flank and you saw you new mark. It was then you’d been made her student and she taught you everything she could and you took it upon yourself to be the best for her.
But now your here with only two bags, one full of books and tools and the other full of precious metals and gems, to call your own. All because of your blasted pride.
You reach out with your new forelimb and touch the surface of the now solid portal as you watched your new form cry while soaked, you’d truly messed up this time. But you had no one to blame but yourself for this.
Trying to walk in this new body was an embarrassing affair, the fact that it took you ten tries to figure out that no you were not a quadruped anymore but bipedal instead had your tears and rain soaked face burning red. But once you figured out the balancing act that was walking it had gotten easier, picking up your bags and carrying them while walking though was something you hope nopony ever found out about. It was the walk to find someplace to wait out the rain that you saw somepony jumping from roof to roof, trying to summon your magic to get to the roof yourself led to the discovery that your magic while not gone was buried deep and that without a horn to focus it through. Well you’d effectively been turned into an earth pony, how embarrassing, from one of the strongest Unicorns in centuries to a practically magic less earth pony variant of whatever you currently were.
Luckily you had a way around that, the old books and scrolls about the portal had been real quick to state that the other side of the portal had no magic, you though had a different theory. Taking out one of the horn-rings you prepared and placed it on one of the ten new digits on your fore hooves and focused on your magic, and shattered those old fogies theories to pieces as you lifted off. This world had magic it was just tuned differently then Equestria. Equestria was harmonious in it magic and thus so were its inhabitants but this world was on the opposite end of the scale, this world was chaotic in it’s magic thus all you needed was a converter matrix to change your magic to a form compatible with the world around you, which gave you your magic.
Unfortunately you forgot to take into account that it was still chaos magic and thus had a mind of it’s own.
You let out a shriek as you blasted off surrounded by a corona of very loud, red magic directly at the jumping figure, as they turn to see what was causing the noise your eyes meet right before your forehead and hers collided with an incredibly painful smack and everything went dark.
You were tending your latest bruises and lumps from your most recent encounter with Akane’s Mallet-Chan. Though this time you kinda deserved it, at least in part. Shampoo had returned today but her agenda had changed, instead of trying to kill you she’d been trying to seduce you. First by appearing while you were in bath though you’d thought she was a caaaa- furry devil at first, then she’d jumped on you in your panic you’d went into the water to escape. That just made it worse as when you came up for air, so did a naked Shampoo who proceeded to envelop you in a tight hug.
Than Akane had walked in…
So now here you were on the edge of town waiting for night to fall so you could sneak back to the Tendo’s home, you’d wrapped your bigger bruises in some herb paste covered leaves to reduce swelling and heal faster. But the more you thought of going back the more you cringed at the idea.
All that would happen would be the continuation of your current troubles, and you were tired of it. The only thing was you had nothing on you to even attempt leaving… right?
The more you thought about it, the more one thought came up.
Did it really matter?
After all you’d survived on the road with nearly nothing to your name for years already. So what if this was a bit more extreme than before you could do it and it didn’t matter that this was what Pops would do. He was your father no matter what you thought about it so emulating him for once was just par for the course. Besides he’s the reason for most of your current troubles anyway.
So course of action planned you started carefully laying false trails all around the district making sure you weren’t scene, and snagging a set of delinquent style clothing that was hanging outside on a clothes-line before undoing you’re signature pigtail and fashioning your hair into a pomperder before retying it in place with your dragon whisker. You’re new disguise in place you head for deeper Tokyo into Yakuza territory. It didn’t take you long to find a group of them fawning over some photos of that new Sailor Senshi group taking out demons in the Juuban district. It made them ridiculously easy to ambush and loot for cash you made sure to snatch a pair of gloves off one of them first though and place them on. No need to leave any clues in the form of fingerprints for Nabiki to track you down.
You ended up finding around three hundred thousand yen combined on them, along with a few rings and knives, but the real treasure was the passport. You grab the photos as well, Nabiki had basically shown you good enough photos can sell for a good price and the Senshi were popular overseas from what you heard so some picture’s of them would net you some decent cash wherever you went. Next stop was the airport, you just needed to be careful about this.
Finding a photo booth along the way was a stroke of luck, you took a couple of pictures making them as professional as you could and getting a few dozen copies of each finding the best one you use your ki to cut out the original picture in the passport and replace it with yours. It wouldn’t stand up to a professional but a ticket clerk wouldn’t see the difference unless they took a closer look.
Making it to the airport and through customs was a bit problematic because of your disguise but you put on the act of a surely delinquent well enough to pass on through and distract from your altered passport and soon enough you were on an economy seat on a plane to America. With luck you Pops, Shampoo, and Nabiki wouldn’t think to look there, after all your obvious choice woulda been China to look for a cure. But you knew that America had to have its own type of magic so maybe you’d find a cure there, add in how big America was and it would make hiding easier.
The flight was long and you kept up your act to avoid the other passengers questioning the well behaved delinquent, and managed to make it though. You exchange you remaining yen at the customs office and left to find the first train out of the area before buying a ticket and boarding you had no idea where you were heading but that made disappearing a lot easier in the long run.
You arrive to a quiet seeming city apparently called Canterlot just in time for it to start raining, there’s your bad luck you were wondering where it went. Taking a moment to orient yourself to take to the roofs to find a hotel to stay the night in, a few roofs into your search and you hear what sounds like a firework flying towards you and turn just in time to take a headbutt from a flying girl. It hurt but after being hit on the hit so much recently it didn’t phase you much. Not so much for the girl though, sighing you pick her and her bags up before continuing on.
Finding a hotel you rent a room for two and head inside, you place her bags down near her bed before putting some towels on her bed then her on top of that, following that with a thin sheet. You leave it at that before taking off your wet jacket and pant putting them over some chairs to dry before getting in your bed for the night. Hopefully this act of kindness didn’t bite you in the ass later.
Author's Note
So a few months ago while rereading what I'd written I realized that I'd messed up and had written myself into a corner in that everyone of the characters were gonna be hostile to each other and it'd take to much to fix it. Then it came to me that my old writing quite frankly sucked A$$ and had so many mistakes so I decided to take a break and rewrite my outline and find a way to make it flow better as well as find a beta. I believe I've achieved all this but the beta with this new Chapter one, and will be continuing from here. Hopefully I've made the right decision.
