Knock Knock
"Twilight, it's Pinkie!"Spike yelled to me while I was in bed. While I got up I looked at the clock, 2 am!
"Happy Equestrian birthday!" She yelled excitedly as I got to the door.
"Pinkie it's two in the morning, what are you doing up?" I asked groggily.
"Just wishing everypony a Happy Equestrian birthday,"she answered as if it was obvious.
"Why so early?"
"To wish all 3122 ponies Happy Equestrian birthday and that's going to take a while."
"Never mind, you coming tonight?" I said while giving up
Oh I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Twilight Sparkle, newest princess of Equestria. Today is Equestria's birthday (the day it was founded) I believe it is the 2,563,478th birthday but I could be wrong. To celebrate I planed a game night with my friends: Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Apple Jack, and Fluttershy (Spike is "hang'n" with Big Mac"). We are playing my favorite game Settlers of Catan.
"Yeah, I can't wait!" Pinkie bounced up and down.
"You remember the rules?" I asked half hoping she would say no.
"Yes, but for the readers who don't, explain it to them."
"Sure you see-" I looked at her puzzled "-what?! Doesn't matter, we set up a hexagon board then we place our pieces on..."
"...And the first pony to reach ten points wins,"I finished
"I don't think they were listening," Pinkie said while staring into space. Again I gave her a puzzled look but it's Pinkie being Pinkie.
"See you tonight," Pinkie said. Before I could say anything she zipped off. I went back to sleep.
At 10 o'clock I walked to town hall to hear Celestia's true story (the events of hearth warming was in the middle of the whole deal) of how the first settler-ponies came to Equestria .There was a big stage set up outside. The mayor walked to the podium on stage. "Let's give a big Ponyville welcome to our ruler and sun raiser ... Princess Celestia," the mayor announced.All of Ponyville cheered as Celestia came out on stage.
Celestia was going from town to town telling the story of how the first settler-ponies came to Equestria .
"Many years ago,"Celestia began "There were no Pegasus, Unicorns, or Earth Ponies just Alicorns. They flew from the great unknown and came to Equestria to escape their demolished home land. Their enemy the chaos bringers fallowed them to this great land. A great war arouse, as Alicorn were tuned to Unicorns, Earth ponies, and Pegasus (only 2 young Alicorns stead Alicorns(my parents)) hope was diminishing. They won after 4,000 years. In the end they built settlements, roads, and cities. And, thus Equestria was made," as she finished everypony cheered.
After that I met up with Fluttershy who was in the back of the crowd. "You coming tonight?" I asked.
"Yes,"she answered softly.
"Good, see you tonight." I walked a way. I found Apple Jack selling apples at her stand.
"You coming to the game night." I asked.
"Ya bet I weal," she answered as she grinned.
"See you there," I walked away.
I looked at the clock tower and saw it was time for the historic reenactment. I was the history consultant( the pony they checked their facts with) this year.

"...And now I name this land Equestria," E. Quest proclaimed to Ria. The curtain closed and everypony clapped their hooves.
Then I walked on stage."You just saw the reenactment of the founding of Equestria." After that everypony that was in the play went up on stage and took a bow, everypony clapped.
As I walked off stage I caught a glimpse of a rainbow blur. "They could have done better," Rainbow Dash exclaimed as she landed on a nearby cloud.
"Oh, how so?" I asked knowing she didn't have an answer.
"They could have had more action," she answered smugly.
"There was a war!" I said exasperated.
"Hope your lame idea for tonight is more fun," She said zooming off.
I decided to see what Rarity was doing with the costumes from the play. I walked into a big room decorated in purple.
"Twilight, darling could you lift the other box and carry it to the boutique,"Rarity asked in a sweet voice.
"I'd be happy to help," I levitated the box and started walking to the boutique.
"Rarity are you coming tonight?" I asked on way to the boutique .
"I wouldn't miss it for the world," Rarity said reassuringly.
After I left Carousel Boutique I saw it was time to set up for game night. I trotted to my crystal tree castle to set for the big game of Settlers of Cattan game (we are playing the family edition to ease them into the game). As I got out the game from one of my MANY walk in closets (not to brag) I thought of teams (as it is 3-4 players). The teams I decided are Fluttershy and Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, and me and Rarity. I choose these teams because Pinkie and Rainbow are good friends, AJ would help Fluttershy out, and that leaves me and Rarity.
"Twilight, I'm heading to sweet apple acres," Spike declared as he walked out of the castle.
After a few minutes I heard a knock on the door. "Guess who," a several voices called out in unison.
"Come in, the door is unlocked," I yelled back to my friends.
