This story takes place 10 years after the end of season 5. The ponies of Equestria have grown tired of relying on the magic of friendship to protect them. Radical thinkers step out of the shadows who would have normally been imprisoned for treason agaisnt the two godesses. Now in a world where magic is fading and logic is growing Equestria tries to keep balance and order as it makes this transition.
