"Ok class, the bell is about to ring and I want you all to finish this lesson for homework," said Miss Chrysalis as everybody puts away their notes, including myself.

"Miss Chrysalis," said Derpy as she held up her hand.

"Yes, Derpy?" replied Miss Chrysalis as she gave Derpy a soft smile.

"Do you mind if I stay in class during lunch? I'm struggling with the math."

"Don't worry, Derpy. I'm always here to help."

Derpy gave Miss Chrysalis a smile as she took out a muffin and bit onto it.

The bell rang and I got up from my desk and left the class, along with everybody else.

"Have a good afternoon, everybody," said Miss Chrysalis as she waved to us, "Um, Jim? How's your head? Does it still hurt?" she asked me before I could leave the classroom.

"I-i-i'm s-still feeling a bit of a headache, b-but at least I'll live," I said giving Miss chrysalis an awkward smile.

"It's a good thing you are, Jim. I wouldn't want to lose one of my favorite students," she said giving me a wink, but not in a nice way. More like a playful way.

My face felt warm as my face began to sweat a little.

"T-t-thanks, M-m-miss Chrysalis. See you around," I said as I left the classroom and headed towards the cafeteria.

"Hey Jim, darling, how was your night last night?" asked Rarity as I sat down beside her.

"It was actually quite fascinating," I said as I took out my can of Colt-a-Cola.

"Really?" said my friends at once.

"Indeed it was. You see, I stayed around Canterlot City for a while and then suddenly, I meet this woman named Zecora," I said as my friends gathered closer to me with interest.

"Zecora? I remember that name," said Rainbow Dash," Wait… is she the woman that has all sorts of masks in her place?"

"Bingo!" I said before I took a sip of my drink.

"So tell us what she did for ya," asked Applejack.

"She brought me to her place and she made me see my future through a dark crystal ball."

"What did you see?" whispered Spike who peeked his head from Twilight's backpack.

"I saw myself…and…"

"Tell us, Darling. We're curious to know," said Rarity as she patted my back a few times.

"Well… I saw myself an older version of myself… and I was walking along the beach with Miss Chrysalis hand-in-hand," I said as a blush came across my face and took another sip.

The girls and Flash leaned in closer to me with surprised faces.

"Anything else?" they said at once.

"I also saw myself and Miss Chrysalis sitting on my couch watching Bleach, along with my cat Yoruichi, sitting on Miss Chrysalis' lap," I said as I backed up a little from my friends.

"Awwwww," said the girls as they clasped their hands together.

"Looks like Jimmy's gonna be with Miss Chrysalis after all," said Flash as he got up and walked over to me," You're in luck, buddy," he said as he patted my back.

"I was thinking since last night that today… I will finally tell her my feelings after school," I said as I stood up and puffed out my chest.

"Hey Jimmy, say 'tax exemption'," said Pinkie.

"Tax exemption," I replied as I exhaled.

"Now you must require a taste for 'free form jazz'," said Pinkie as somehow jazz music appeared out of nowhere, "Ok, Jimmy, you're ready!"

"I am?" I asked with confusion.

"You sure are! Also, I forgot to hand you guys these cookies that I promised you," said Pinkie as she threw us plastic bags with two cookies within them.

"Thanks, Pinkie," we all said to her.

"Your welcome," said Pinkie before the bell rang.

We all got up from the table and left the cafeteria with our individual plastic bags of cookies.

The final bell has ringed and everybody was leaving the school. I stood above the steps waiting for Pinkie to show up.

"Come on, Pinks. Miss Chrysalis will leave in a bit at some point," I thought as I fidgeted my fingers, waiting for Pinkie to show up.

"Here I am, Jimmy," said Pinkie as she bursts through the front doors, "Ok, this is it. What are you going to tell Miss Chrysalis?"

"Uh… I'm going to tell her that I have feelings for her?"

"Correct! Now go and get her!" said Pinkie as she patted my shoulder.

"Thanks, Pinkie. See you tomorrow," I said as I headed over to the teacher parking area.

As I walked in front of the etcher parking area, I saw Miss Chrysalis putting something in the back of her trunk; as she closed it, she noticed me and waved at me. I waved back.

Chrysalis then made a finger gesture for me to go and see her. I gulped as my mind is telling me to do it:

My body quivered a bit as I walked over to her.

"Hey, Jim. I was wondering if you'd like me to take you home again. You ok with that?" asked Miss Chrysalis as I stopped a few feet from her.

"M-m-miss Chrysalis… I w-want to tell you something that I always wanted to t-t-tell you since freshman y-year," I stuttered as my face felt very warm.

"What is it, honey? I'm all ear," said Miss chrysalis as she placed her hands on her hips.

"I just want to tell you that… that… I…" I was a nervous wreck.

"Yes?" said Miss Chrysalis giving me a cocked eyebrow.

"MissChrysalisIhavefeelingsforyou…" I said very quickly.

"Huh? Come again?" asked Miss Chrysalis as she took a few steps closer to me.

"I have feelings for you Miss Chrysalis," I said perfectly clearer for her to hear me," I've been in love with you since freshman year… I think you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. You make my heart beat rapidly and you always make my day when you smile or wave at me. As much as I love you, I know this relationship can never happen between us because you're a teacher and I'm your student. Remember before when you asked me why I'm always flustered around you? Well… there's your answer."

I looked at Miss Chrysalis with teary eyes as she looked at me with surprise.

"See you on Monday, Miss Chrysalis," I said sobbingly, as I ran away with tears going down my eyes like from that Berserk video I saw a year ago on Youtube.

As I got home, I lied down on the couch with a pillow in my face to block out my loud sobbing.

"I'm such a pussy! I bet that vision I saw was complete BULLSHIT! I could never be with her! Love means nothing to me anymore!" I screamed with my face against my pillow.

I then heard Yoruichi meowing beside me; I turned my head towards the floor where I saw her lying on the floor with a sad expression on her face.

"Come here, Yoruichi," I said as I stood up and patted my lap,"At least you, dad, and mom still love me," I said to Yoruichi as I wiped my face with my left hand.

Yoruichi came up to me and laid don onto my lap where I began to stroke her soft black fur. I sat there with her as I grabbed the remote beside me and turned on the TV; I looked around the movie section where there were many good movies playing on there like Godzilla vs The Smog Monster, Pumpkinhead, and a few other classics. The one that really caught my attention was Revenge of the Nerds.

"Oh! Revenge of the Nerds is on! Gotta watch that," I said as I pressed onto the channel.

5:54 PM

I came back into the living room and placed my bowl of chowder on the coffee table and then went back to grab my drink and Yoruichi's bowl of wet cat food. As I walked back into the living room, I heard a knock at the door. I put my drink on the coffee table and placed Yoruichi's food bowl at the corner of the couch and walked over to the door.

"I wonder who it could be?" I said to myself as I stopped in front of the door.

I then slowly looked through the peephole and what I saw surprised me; it was Miss Chrysalis. She's wearing a light red shirt, blue jeans, has her hair on a ponytail and is wearing that crown-like necklace I noticed since yesterday.

"Miss Chrysalis? Why would she want to come to my house around this time of the day?" I thought to myself, as my face got warm.

I slowly opened the door and peeked my head out.

"What do you want? Have you come to tell me that I'm no good for you?" I said with a little of anger in my voice.

"No, Jim. Can I come in?" she asks.

"S-sure," I said as I opened the door all the way for her to enter.

She walks in and inspects the place. I can tell she likes the looks of it from the kitchen to living room.

"I have to say Jim, your house looks better on the inside than the outside," she said as she looked at me with a small smile.

"Well… thank you, Miss Chrysalis," I said as I gave her an awkward smile back.

Just then, Yoruichi came up to Miss Chrysalis and rubbed her head against Miss Chrysalis' leg. Miss Chrysalis looked down at her and giggled.

"Is this your cat Yoruichi?" she asks as she held up Yoruichi in her arms and cradled her as if Yoruichi was a baby.

"She is," I said as I scratched the back of my head," Could you also tell me why you are here?"

Miss Chrysalis sits down onto the couch and sets Yoruichi beside her.

"Could you sit with me? I'd want to talk to you," she said as she patted the empty spot of the couch.

"O-ok," I said as I sat down beside her with worry upon my face.

As I sat down beside her, she placed her hand on my back and she lets out a sigh.

"I now know the truth to why you are always so flustered around me and I am very surprised to hear that you have feelings for me," said Miss Chrysalis as she began to pat my back.

"I guess you're going to hate me now, knowing that I have a crush on you since freshman year," I said without looking her in the eye.

"Jim, I don't hate you. You are the sweetest student I ever had out of all of the other students," said Miss Chrysalis as she retracted her hand," It's just that… well… no student has come up to me, telling me that they have a crush on me."

"Really? I always thought a bunch of students asked you out and you turned them down," I said as I looked up at her.

"Nope. You're the only one who has come up to me and showed your true feelings about me."

"Can I also ask… why are you dressed like that?"

"Oh, this? I look like this whenever I'm not being a teacher; I just felt like looking like this tonight."

"Well, that explains it," I thought to myself.

"Ever since you ran away from me, I had time to think to myself," said Miss Chrysalis as she crossed her legs," Now I know this would sound strange, but what if we go on a secret date tomorrow? Just you and me," she asks me as my face felt as if it was close to being on fire.

"A secret date? Just the two of us?" I asked in surprise.

"I know this will also sound weird, but your my type of guy. A person who is a tad bit younger than me and is so caring. Plus, I'm six years older than you," she said as she gave me a wink.

"You're twenty-five? So young," I said with surprise.

"Here's a tip if you're on a date with a lady like me," she said as she placed the tip of her index finger on the tip of my nose," never ask a lady her age."

"Got it," I said as Miss Chrysalis retracted her finger from my nose.

I then heard a growling noise, which was coming from Miss Chrysalis as she rubbed her stomach.

"Hehehe… do you have anything to eat? I didn't eat much for lunch today because of helping Derpy with her math," asked Miss Chrysalis as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Sure, what would you like?"

"Do you have any…um… sweet things? I'm in the mood for something sweet."

"Is ice cream, ok?"

"I'm good with that."

"Cup or cone?"

"Cone, please."

"As you wish," I said as I walked into the kitchen and began to make ice cream for her.

"Here you go," I said as I handed the ice cream over to Miss Chrysalis.

"Thank you, Jim," she said with a smile as she grabbed ahold of the cone.

I sat down beside her and grabbed ahold of my chowder and began eating it.

As we sat together with the TV on, I looked over at her as she licked the ice cream, which was starting to melt as little dribbles slid down one side of the cone. She turned her cone to the dribbling area and licked it till the dribbling stopped. I tried looking away, but I couldn't help myself but stare at her enjoying the ice cream.

"I really need to stop looking," I thought to myself as I looked straight at the TV and took a spoonful of my chowder.

"Mmmmm, that was tasty, Jim. Thank you," said Miss Chrysalis as licked her hands from melting ice cream.

"Y-your welcome," I said to her with a smile upon my face.

She smiled back as she got up from couch and walked over to the door. Before putting her hand on the doorknob, Yoruichi came up to her rubbed her head against her leg. Miss Chrysalis smiled as she leaned down and petted Yoruichi on her head.

"Well, I hope your ready to go out tomorrow. You should go online tonight and look up what to do on a first date. Another thing is that you should change your appearance so that if we get spotted, no one will know whom you are," said Miss Chrysalis as she stood up and opened the door.

"Ok… I will Miss Chrysalis," I replied.

She smiled before she went through the door and closed it.

"Ok then, I will look up what to do," I said to myself as I grabbed ahold of my empty bowl and walked over to the kitchen.

Before I entered the kitchen, I heard a knock on my door.

I rushed into the kitchen, placed the bowl into the sink and rushed over to the door.

I opened it and there yet again was Miss Chrysalis with her hands on her hips, along with a cocked eyebrow.

"One more thing before I go. Make sure to work on your math homework, please," she said.

"I will, Miss Chrysalis. I promise," I said as Miss Chrysalis gave me a smile and walked away to her car.

I shut the door and sighed.

"Perhaps… love… does mean something to me," I said to myself as I walked back to the couch and opened up a can of soda that I totally forgot to drink along with my chowder.

Then my eyes lit up with remembrance.

"You know what," I said to myself as I stood up from the couch with my soda in hand," I should be sitting here doing nothing. I need to finish up my homework."

I marched into my room and took out my work.

"Then, I'll look up later tonight on what to do during a date. Perhaps those Long, Tan, and Handsome magazines that my father keeps from his youth can help me," I said as I grabbed out my pencil and began my homework.
