Dib heard someone loudly clear their throat behind him. He turned around expecting the sneering face of Zim.

He was not expecting a lavender pegacorn wearing a crown.

It took him one blink to register what exactly he was looking at, and another to realize this was the owner of the throne room. He hardly hesitated as he pointed a silent finger at Zim, reassuring himself that Zim would have done the same.

And then there were more problems. The language it spoke was clipped and to-the-point, but Dib wasn't very surprised there was a language barrier. He had no idea how he could breach the barrier, but the pegacorn did.

A translucent square appeared in the air as the pegacorn's horn lit up purple, and little characters showed up on it. The figures of Zim and himself stood side by side in front of a battered ship Dib was able to recognize as the Voot Cruiser, and facing towards them was the pegacorn. Little speech bubbles appeared above their heads and filled with writing. In the pegacorn's bubble was some kind of flowing script, while the joined bubble of Zim and Dib was filled with a dark scribble.

The speech bubbles disappeared momentarily as the little pegacorn shot a white beam from its horn, resulting in a comical flash around their characters. When the speech bubbles reappeared, they all contained the flowing script from before.

"The purple creature wishes to fire LASERS at us!" Dib jumped as Zim yelled the accusation. He hadn't noticed the alien walk up behind him.

Zim could be surprisingly silent when he wasn't yelling.

"Are you always this distrustful?" Dib was really tired of Zim's constant jumping to conclusions.

"Yesss... the amazing ZIM has no need for trust! Trust is for the weak, and ZIM is not weak! He is the opposite of weak! ANTI-WEAK!!!" Zim cackled madly at his own 'brilliance'. Dib sighed at the idiocy of his lime green companion.

...

Twilight was a bit unsure of the meaning of the two alien's exchange, but she was pretty sure the pale, large headed one liked her idea and the green one was suspicious. She suddenly came upon an idea that honestly should have occurred to her sooner.

She gently caught their attention by tapping her hoof lightly on the floor a couple times, then performed a sacred ritual of extreme importance. She smiled as she drew her hoof over her chest in an 'X', fluttered her wings lightly, and put a hoof over one eye.

After a moment of silence, the green alien said something, looking confused. The pale one smacked them on the back of the head and responded angrily. Green looked thoughtful for a moment, then muttered quietly. Pale smiled at Twilight and nodded.

As she charged the translation spell, Green crossed their arms and Pale looked anxious, rocking back on their heels and twiddling their thumbs. Thumbs was just a weird word she learned in the world of humans. She fired the spell and shielded her eyes from the blast of magic.

"Did it work?" Pale asked hesitantly.

A grin split Twilight 's face. "Yes! Thanks for agreeing to have it cast!" She could barely contain her excitement as she prepared a list of questions to ask. "What are your names?"

"I'm Dib, and this is-" Pale was cut off mid-sentance.

"I am ZIIIIIIM!!!"

"My name is Twilight Sparkle, and welcome to Equestria."

Author's Note

The sight of a new chapter fills you with DETERMINATION.

Look at the terribly short chapter that I lazily patched together from probably about seven different ideas! Yeah, well, I just so happened to have suffered writer's block, followed by procrastination, and then (as you may have already guessed) found the wonderful world of Undertale.

This chapter was supposed to be done about a week ago, but... I'm lazy and not as obsessive over Invader Zim as I was a week ago. BUT I GOT IT DONE.

Is this story still good? Should I press on through a combination of to many ideas and absence of ideas? Does anypony actually read this garbage?
