The Star-Watcher

Finally, I'm finally here: Ponyville. Panting, I looked around taking in my surroundings while I regain my breath. Well, I'm here. So now what? Oh yeah, I live here now...Time to get settled in. But first I need to find a home.

After having finished regaining my breath (My goodness, it took forever to get here!), and getting my stuff, I explored the town, eager to see what else the town of Ponyville had to offer. After all, it will be my new home so why not check it out? Moments later, the sky became filled with more clouds (Oh noes!). Then seconds later, almost as if she were expecting this to happen (or something else, I dunno), a rainbow-haired, blue-furred pegasus came flying into the sky and into the clouds. Immediately, the clouds in the sky began to decrease in numbers. The rainbow mare continued to kick the clouds, and in 10 seconds flat cleared the sky. I am amazed. This was awesome. She was awesome. No, she is amazing. But she looks familiar. After having cleared the sky of clouds, the rainbow mare laughs.

"Too easy. I mean seriously, next time give me an actual challenge nature!" she said. She looks down and then her eyes are on me. She studied me almost as if she were trying to remember something. Maybe me? Then, she grinned and flies right at me. Holy shit, there's a crazy rainbow pegasus flying right at me. What do I do? Before I can even react, she grabs me and flies into the air. "Oh mygosh, oh mygosh, oh mygosh!" she says, excited. "Oh Danny, where have you been?" she says, hugging me tight. I don't know, where have I been? There's a random pegasus hugging me in the air. And I probably don't even know her.

Confused, I reply, "Do I know you?" The female pegasus simply just chuckles.

"Well of course you know me. I mean, its been 6 years, but try to remember me. Just think." she responds. (Que the Jeopardy "Think" music) After a moment, I suddenly grin. I remember her.

"Well well well, where have you been the past 6 years, Dashie?"

The rainbow mare smiles. "I've been around..." she replies, blushing. She flies us down, and lets me go. Phew.

"So, now that I live here, do you wanna...I don't know...just...catch up sometime? Or something?" I ask, a little nervous (What? I'm not good with girls.). Rainbow Dash nods.

"Yeah, I mean sure, of course." she says. I nod. I look around.

"Well, I gotta go find a place to stay." I say

"Yeah...you go do that." Rainbow Dash responds. I then took my stuff and trotted away.

"We'll talk later!" I holler from a distance.

"Okay!" Rainbow Dash hollers back. I chuckle. Well this ought to be the start of something interesting...

After finding a place to live, I began to unpack all the stuff I had brought with me. I had found a 2 story house, with 2 bedrooms, 1 first floor hallway closet, 1 hallway closet upstairs, 1 closet in my bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom on both floors, a and finally a living room. Oh, and there's this empty room downstairs to the right of the kitchen after you exit it. But away with these random details! Wait a minute, who am I even talking to? Ehh, I must be breaking the 4th wall again. Oops.

After getting somewhat settled in, I went out to go explore the rest of the town, maybe talk to Dashie again. Pushing open the front/entrance door, I think of what I should do first. I saw a bakery earlier, and wonder if I should go check it out. Sure why not? But I still need to meet up with Rainbow Dash later though. I walk across town, trying to act cool. Upon finally reaching the bakery, I found out it was named Sugarcube Corner. Hmm... There must be stuff with lots of sugar here. Time to find out for sure. Opening the entrance door, I trot into the bakery and take in the details of Sugarcube Corner's inside. There are large candy-cane themed pillars at the start of some stairs which lead up. The floor is made up of turqoise-painted wooden planks, and at the register there is a large showcase of sweets behind glass. I walk up to a glass display of the items and lick my lips. The items on display look delicious!

"Excuse me sir!" I hear a voice say from behind. I turn around to a mare the same color as Rainbow Dash but with a mane and tail looking like swirled pink and white ice cream. "I'm Mrs. Cake. Would you like to buy something?" she asks. After a few seconds, I nod. "Okay, let's see..." she says. I point to a rainbow-sprinkled, pink-frosted donut. She understands and gets me the donut. I hand (or in this case "hoof") her the bits and take my donut. "And there you are, sir." she says.

"Thanks." I respond. Mrs. Cake nods and then trots away, probably to help another customer. I take my first bite out of the donut. After the first bite, I wolfed down the rest of the donut in seconds. And it was good. Hmm, I should come back here again sometime. I walk towards the exit/entrance and push the door open, trotting out and away. Once back out in the open, I breathe in a breath of fresh air. Trotting away, I encounter a pink pony bouncing around. She spots me and then comes closer to me.

"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! Oh wait I don't think I've seen you around here before. Are you new here? Oh well then welcome to Ponyville! I'm Pinkie Pie! *gasp* Oh wait! We need to have a welcome party for you! Don't worry, I'm on it new guy. I'll be right back!" she says, already galloping away in a hurry.

"Uhh...okay." I respond. Okay, now that was weird...I shrug. Then I trot along as if nothing happened.
