I’ve always been a morning person.  Even without setting my alarm clock, I naturally wake up at 5:15 a.m. to … be productive.  Yeah right.  Usually I jump out of bed and run into the kitchen, scavenging for breakfast.  Then I run into my room, shut the door, turn on the lights, grab my laptop, and plug in some earbuds.  While most teenagers my age stay up late and sleep in, I sleep at a normal time and wake up earlier than the sun.  It’s a bad habit, I admit, but there’s nothing better than falling asleep to the thought of waking up and watching My Little Pony episodes.

Yes, I’m a pegasister.  I would say closet pegasister, but lots of people already know this due to all my profile pictures being about ponies, and my wallpapers, and my desktops, and my blogs (Yes, I blog), and my biography lines.  Usually my bio in any social media is “Dance is Life <3 I’m a pegasister and I’m proud of it <3 Kats rule and kats rule!!!”  in that order, ‘cuz dance is my life, ponies are my second life, and kats are my third.  I would add in music as a 4th but I never have enough space.

Last night, I changed my Facebook profile picture to a pony request I had drawn for me of my OC/Ponysona.  My ponysona is a pale sea green pegasus, with a black mane and a purple streak, and a cutie mark of my signature symbol, a splash of water drawn as a lily with a swirly stem.  I named her Lilysplash, after my screen name and pseudonym for practically everything I use.

“Ding.”  I got a Facebook notification!  Logging in, I saw that my friend had commented on my picture.  “Aren’t you a little old for my little pony?”  When I saw that, I was purely insulted.  Really, I’m on the younger side in the Brony Fandom.  I mean, really?  I gave up talking sense into him and  just shut off my laptop.  It was time for me to sleep anyway.  I took off my watch, bracelet, and necklace, placed them on my desk and turned off the lights and jumped into bed.  I fell asleep instantly.

That night, I didn’t have any dreams sadly.  I love having dreams, whether nightmare or not.  I still want to test the idea of being conscious in the dreamworld.  I’ve done it before, actually having thoughts in a dream, and I’ve always wanted to do it again.  Speaking of which, I need to remind myself to pray to Princess Luna for a dream next time.  Anyway, I woke up with a really bad back itch.

Groaning, I reach my arms behind my back for the itchy spot when my hands hit something soft and feathery.  Sitting up, I reach up to rub my eyes, but I don’t see my hands at all.  What I do see are two identical cyan hooves.

“No way,” I mutter under my breath.  My voice sounds scratchier than usual, but I don’t give it another thought.  A crazy theory runs through my mind, and I want to test it out.  I climb out of bed and look behind my shoulder.  As expected, a pair of feathery blue wings are perched on my spine.  Widening my eyes in disbelief, I look down at my body to see the body of a pony, hooves and all.  I really need to find a mirror.

Taking a few steps at a time on all four hooves, I try to walk to the bathroom I share with my sister.  It’s pretty early in the morning, and the sun isn’t up yet.  Sadly, I slam right into the wall… which feels soft for some reason.  Letting my eyes adjust to the dark, I look around to see a room that isn’t my own.  Almost everything is made up of a material that looks like fluffy clouds.  Struggling to get to my hooves, I walk around the room to find a doorknob in the middle of a cloud-wall.  Then the next challenge comes up: opening a door.  I place my hoof right over the doorknob and twist it.  As efficient as a hoof should be, it stays put.  The struggles of opening this doorknob continues for about a minute, before I give up and bite around the doorknob, twisting the door open.  I fling the door back in pride to see a flying green thing come up and hit me in the head.  Like any other day, I black out.

“Ugh, what a dream that was,” I sigh to myself.  It feels like everything is back to normal, except my voice still sounds scratchy.  Feeling slightly disturbed again, I open my eyes to see Tank hovering right over me, looking as adorable as in the episode Tanks for the Memories.  I sit up and see the same cyan pony body instead of a normal human body.  Did I mention I’m naked?  This feels like both a dream and a nightmare, to be something I’m not.

Just to prove to myself a point, I twist my head back to stare at my butt, no, flank, and see exactly what I expected: A cloud with a tri-colored lightning bolt.  Sitting back, I give up struggling and accept reality as what it is.  Somehow, with this crazy day, I end up becoming Rainbow Dash.
