Fantasy in the Forest

Sunset Shimmer walked cautiously behind Fluttershy as they forged a path through the woods.
She had to admit to herself it was a welcome change from the last few weeks, what with the whole student body of Canterlot High, save a few, viewing her with constant hostility. Plus she liked spending time with Fluttershy.
“Umm Fluttershy what exactly are we doing again?” She asked curiously.
“Oh, we’re going to see if the rumors of people spotting white squirrels in the forest is true and if they are here we’re going to take census,” Fluttershy said quietly, but there was a slight air of excitement in her voice.
“Where exactly did they say they were? We’re pretty deep in the woods. Aren’t you worried about getting lost?” Sunset asked, growing a little concerned about how far they had gone.
“Oh, don’t worry it shouldn’t be much further. Also there’s a landmark coming up that’ll ensure we don’t get lost,” Fluttershy said smiling.
“Like what, a fallen tree, a weird bush or a….a….a..a…a freaking mansion!?”
Sunset shouted, as they emerged into a clearing where a large mansion stood, extremely out of place in the middle of the forest.
The mansion covered a large area and had seemingly been abandoned since the yard was now being consumed by nature. The paint was peeling off it and an expensive sports car sat rusting in the overgrown driveway.
“What….what is this place?” Sunset asked, still in shock.
“Oh, you’ve never heard of the Lightley Mansion?” Fluttershy asked.
“No.”
“I thought everyone did. People come out here all the time to explore it. Especially on Nightmare Night….well not me at least.”
“I guess I was just too busy…trying to get the crown….and being a jerk to everyone,” Sunset said, hanging her head in shame.
“There there, there’s um…no need to feel bad. I’m sure it’ll all work out in the end,” Fluttershy said, offering her a pat on the back.
Sunset cracked a smile, “Thanks. So what is this place exactly?”
“Oh it was the home of Dr. Lightley. They say he was an eccentric genius that was always inventing things, like vandalism proof paint.”
“I guess that’s why there’s no graffiti out here,” Sunset said, as she followed Fluttershy into the woods again.
“Then one day twenty five years ago he just left. No one’s heard anything about him since.”
“That’s weird,” Sunset said, “Anyways let’s go find some squirrels!”
Yay let’s go find some squirrels, Sunset thought a half hour later, her internal monologue now full of sarcasm.
“35.0002 degrees north 110.225 degrees west….no sighting,” Fluttershy said to herself, as she made a note in a small journal.
“Um, Fluttershy?”
“Yes.”
“I was thinking, maybe it would be better if I head back to the mansion. There’s a lot of windows in it and maybe if I climb to the top floor I can get a bird’s eye view and maybe spot some squirrels better. I’ll call you if I see some.”
“That’s a great idea!” Fluttershy said happily, “Just please be careful.”
“Oh I will. Don’t you worry.”
Sunset quickly retraced their steps and was soon standing in front of the mansion.
It’s a lot creepier when you’re all alone, Sunset thought, I feel bad about lying to Fluttershy, but I’m bored out of my skull and I didn’t want to be rude and tell her that. Exploring this place might be fun. Plus you never know I might actually see some white squirrels from the windows.
After mentally preparing herself she found the front door to be surprisingly unlocked.
Didn’t think that would work. Thought I’d need to find a secret passage or a broken window or something.
The mansion proved to be just as vast inside as it was outside. Everything had a hint of dust and mildew to it, but surprisingly nature had hardly started to invade the inside of the mansion despite it being abandoned for twenty five years. Room after room she encountered more and more surprises. A large den filled with the remains of a private library. A huge dining hall. A ball room with a large elevated stage, with several folding chairs scattered around the room.
After exploring for awhile she took a breather and stared out a second story window. She leaned against the wall deep in thought.
Is this my life now? Only being liked by five people, and walking off into the woods to look for squirrels just to get away from everyone’s dirty loooowahhhh!
She caught herself from falling over after the section of wall she was leaning against pressed inwards. After overcoming the shock she pushed on it with all her might revealing a hidden room.
What’s all this? she thought, as she wondered into it.
The room was different then the others, banks of old computers and equipment lined the center of the room. Sheets covered other objects that Sunset assumed were office furniture. Thankfully it had a window so it was still easy to see everything.
“Gahhh!” she shouted as she rounded a corner and saw a figure standing there.
It was a young girl about eighteen or so. She had long straight black hair and a light brown complexion giving her the appearance of having Asian ancestry. She wore a red bikini top along with a short red skirt, and she wore a stethoscope around her neck. The girl was standing at attention with her eyes closed.
What in the world is going on here? Sunset thought, as she cautiously approached the girl, She looks almost real. Can she be real? There’s no way.
She reached cautiously and touched the girl’s check only for the girl’s eyes to snap open.
“Uh oh,” Sunset said in a panic.
The girl’s eyes flashed with scrolling binary code for a second before turning into normal silver colored eyes. Upon seeing Sunset she smiled.
“Hello there, thank you for reactivating me,” the girl said, “I am the Fantasy Bot 3.2. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Um, yeah sure. You’re welcome,” Sunset said, trying to back away slowly.
“I am the creation of the great Dr. Lightley. My purpose is to help bring people’s fantasy’s to life for a small fee. As a token of thank you for reactivating me I will grant you one free fantasy.”
“That’s…that’s quite alright,” Sunset said, as she backed away a little.
Fantasies to life? What is she talking about? She said she was a creation and a ‘Fantasy Bot’ what kind of weirdo builds a robot girl for that? Sunset thought.
“Nonsense I insist on granting you a fantasy. Unfortunately due to my long deactivation I need to use the old fantasy parameters before being able to accept new ones. So I hope you don’t mind me using the parameters of: bikini girl, nurse, and hypnosis.”
“Um, that’s okay I’ll…wait.”
“But if you wait it might not be a free fantasy anymore. Let’s get started with the hypnosis portion,” the Fantasy Bot said, as her eyes turned into black and silver spirals, “Just relax and look into my eyes.”
What…what is she doing? Sunset thought, her eyes immediately locking on the Fantasy Bot’s spiraling eyes.
“Just look into my eyes. See as they swirl around and around…round and round,” The Fantasy Bot said.
I…I can’t look away, Sunset thought, as she froze in place, Is this magic no not magic technology? Does she really have the technology to do this?
“Just look into them and allow their swirling, spiraling pattern to relax you deeper and deeper…deeper and deeper.”
I…I do feel kind of relaxed. No! She said it was hypnosis I’ve got to fight it.
“As you look into my eyes you grow even more relaxed. Let your body become more and more relaxed. That’s it just look into my eyes and allow yourself to relax…relax…relax,” the Fantasy Bot said, as she walked closer to Sunset, always ensuring her gaze met Sunset’s.
Yes…I should allow myself to relax, Sunset thought, the tension in her muscles fading away.
“More and more relaxed. So relaxed. Growing more and more submissive. Surrendering to hypnosis. Surrendering to me…yielding to me…yielding to my control. Yielding to my control,” the Fantasy Bot continued.
Yes…I must surrender to hypnosis. I must be hypnotized…I must give into the Fantasy Bot’s control, Sunset thought, as her mind started to fall under the Fantasy Bot’s spell.
“Just look into my eyes and relax and grow deeper. Deeper and Deeper into relaxation. Deeper and deeper into my control. Deeper and deeper into hypnosis.”
Yes…I am falling deeper and deeper…I am deeply hypnotized. I am under your control,
“Feeling sleepy now. Dropping down, letting your eyelids grow heavy as you fall into a deep hypnotized sleep in 3….2…1.” the Fantasy Bot said, finishing her induction.
The count of one prompted Sunset’s eyes to lock shut as she let herself give into the hypnosis.
“You are now deeply hypnotized. You will obey all my suggestions and commands. Do you understand?”
“Yes Ms. Fantasy Bot I understand. I am hypnotized. I must obey you.”
“For simplicity sake you can call me Fanta.”
“Yes Ms. Fanta. I will obey,” Sunset said, all the emotion drained from her voice.
“Now then you know my name but I don’t know yours.”
“It’s Sunset Shimmer, Ms. Fanta.”
“Very good, now then Sunset let us begin the nurse part of your fantasy,” Fanta said, as she whipped the cover off a piece of furniture revealing an exam table, “By giving you a checkup! First you need to strip down to your underwear.”
“Yes Ms Fanta. I will obey, I will strip,” Sunset said, as she removed her clothes revealing the red bra and panties she wore.
Fanta led the still sleeping Sunset over the table and helped her get on it. She then walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a black medical bag.
“Let’s begin,” she said.
She walked over to Sunset and placed a blood pressure cuff around her arm and began inflating it.
“That looks good,” Fanta said, before grabbing a reflex hammer and testing Sunset, “Reflexes are a little sluggish but given your hypnotic relaxation that is to be expected.”
Fanta then pulled out an otoscope and set out checking Sunsets ears and throat.
“Now I would like to check your eyes. Please open your eyes but remain deeply hypnotized.”
“Yes Ms. Fanta,” Sunset said as her eyes blinked open. They had maintained their usual green appearance; however transparent silver and black spirals were present within them signaling that she was still deeply under Fanta’s hypnotic spell.
After checking Sunset’s eyes Fanta put on her stethoscope.
“Now Sunset I’m going to listen to your lungs. Please take a deep breath each time you feel the bell of my stethoscope on your skin,” Fanta instructed.
“Yes Ms. Fanta. I will obey,” Sunset said. She shuddered the first time she felt the stethoscope touched her, due to the metal being cold, but she still breathed in and out as instructed. Things got easier as Fanta continued to move the stethoscope’s bell around her chest and it warmed up. Once she was done listening to her lungs Fanta moved on to listening to Sunset’s heart. Not needing to do anything for this Sunset went back to sitting motionless on the exam table, awaiting further instructions.
“Your heart and lungs sound fine Sunset,” Fanta said, “Overall your exam went well. So is there anything that’s bothering you?”
“Well I’ve been depressed lately,” Sunset said.
“Really why?”
“Well Ms. Fanta I….” Sunset said, as she retold what had happened the last few days.
“Hmmmm so what you’re saying is that you’re a magical unicorn from another dimension and you’re now being ostracized by your fellow students due to you treating them badly and then turning into a she demon that enslaved them into helping you try and take over your other dimension.”
“Yes Ms. Fanta.”
“Well I’m sure you have nothing to worry about. I’m sure it’ll blow over soon,” Fanta said, taking what Sunset had just said all in stride, “Now then I think I know something that’ll help you feel better. I’m sure you didn’t come into the woods alone.”
“No Ms. Fanta I came with Fluttershy,” Sunset said.
“Well then I think it would be fun if you were the one to give her a fantasy. Doesn’t that sound fun?”
“Yes Ms. Fanta.”
“Well then when I snap my fingers you will be filled with the desire to become a fun loving yet slightly seductive stage hypnotist who is ready to put your volunteer Fluttershy under your spell for your show,” Fanta said, before snapping her fingers.
Sunset shook her head slightly before a smile spread across her face.
“Thanks for the checkup Ms. Fanta,” she said, “I really should get dressed for the show and let Fluttershy know it’s about to start.”
“You can use the room next door that has all my costumes in it. I scanned you, and you and I share the same sizes. As for Fluttershy, don’t worry I’ll get her to come back here.”
“Thanks,” Sunset said, as she hopped off the exam table and walked over to the costume room.
Out in the forest Fluttershy was making notes in her journal.
Finally after much time exploring I have indeed found the white squirrels. There appear to be 10 in total. Eight adults two juveniles meaning they are not only surviving but reproducing. I will check back here in a few months.
She put the journal away and smiled that her hard work had paid off. A loud explosion however caused her to shriek in terror.
“That came from back by the mansion. I hope Sunset is okay,” Fluttershy said to herself.
Letting her concern for her friend overcome her pure terror Fluttershy rushed back to the mansion.
“Sunset?! Sunset?!” Fluttershy called out a few times from outside, before cautiously making her way inside the mansion.
Everything looks okay…I don’t see any flames or damage from an explosion. What is going on? She thought as she looked from room to room.
When she entered the ballroom she let out a gasp of shock. Standing on the elevated stage was Sunset, though she looked very different. Her usual attire had been replaced with a frayed skirt with a flame pattern on it that wouldn’t look out of place on a witch. A black shiny leather belt was worn at an angle. She was also wearing a black sleeveless top and the look was completed with a top hat.
“S…Sunset?” Fluttershy said quietly in confusion.
“Welcome! Welcome one and all!” came Fanta’s modified voice booming across the ballroom, “To Sunset Shimmer, Mistress of the Mind’s amazingly mesmerizing stage hypnosis show. Who will be the first volunteer?!”
Oh my goodness. What is all this? Fluttershy thought, her confusion growing.
“Thank you for volunteering Fluttershy,” Sunset said, as she flashed a broad smile towards Fluttershy, before beckoning her with her hand, “Why don’t you come on up?”
“I um…uhh,” Fluttershy stammered.
“Now now, no need to be…shy about things,” Sunset said, winking at her.
Not knowing what else to do, Fluttershy nervously made her way up on stage.
“Thanks again for volunteering Fluttershy,” Sunset said.
“Volunteering for what. What is going on here Sunset?”
“Like my announcer said, this is my stage hypnosis show and you’re my lucky volunteer. Are you ready to get started?” Sunset asked.
“Hypnosis show? What…what do you mean?” Fluttershy asked, her nervousness growing.
“It’s quite simple. All you need to do is watch the watch,” Sunset said, as she pulled out a gold pocket watch and began swinging it in front of Fluttershy’s eyes, “Just watch the watch swing back and forth. Back and forth.”
“Sunset I don’t like this,” Fluttershy said, her eyes locking on the watch.
“Trust me. You’ll love it. All you need to do is watch the watch and relax. Relax for me Fluttershy. You can trust me.”
“I…I do…but I’m still scared,” Fluttershy said.
“There’s no need to be scared. All you need to do is relax and listen to my voice. Listen and relax. Relax and watch the watch. Let all your fears fade away.”
“Yesss…I don’t need to be scared anymore,” Fluttershy said.
“That’s it. Just calm yourself and watch the watch. Let its shiny gold makeup entice you. Attract you. It’s the most important thing in the world. You only need to focus on it and my voice.”
“I must watch your amazing watch. I must only watch your watch,” Fluttershy said, her voice becoming more and more monotone.
“Very good. Just continue to watch the watch and relax for me Fluttershy. You’re doing so very well. Allow yourself to relax. Each breath relaxes you. Each swing relaxes you. Each word I speak relaxes you. You feel so comfortable. So peaceful.”
“Yes…peaceful,” Fluttershy mumbled.
“Your body is relaxing more and more. Your arms and legs are relaxed. Your stomach and chest. Your neck and shoulders. Your head and face. Your whole body is completely relaxed.”
“Yes…relaxed…I am completely relaxed,” Fluttershy said.
“You are so relaxed and comfortable. You are starting to feel tired. So tired. So sleepy. In fact when I count to three you will find you are unable to keep your eyes open and you will drift off into a deep hypnotized sleep. One allow your eyes to shut down all the way. Two you’re doing so very very well, listening only to my voice and doing exactly as I say. You cannot resist. Three, now sleep for me. Relax, allow yourself to sleep for me. You did so very well.”
Once Sunset counted to three Fluttershy’s eyes followed the swinging pocket watch for a few more passes before they finally locked shut.
A single round of applause erupted from the audience.
“That was amazing,” Fanta said from her chair, “You did a great job hypnotizing her.”
“Thank you Ms. Fanta,” Sunset said, “But did you really need to simulate an explosion?”
“I wanted to lure her back her so you could hypnotize her. I calculated that would be best option,” Fanta said, “Now I’m ready to see the rest of your show.”
“Yes Ms. Fanta,” Sunset said, as she turned to Fluttershy, “Fluttershy can you hear me?”
“Yes Sunset I can hear you,” Fluttershy said.
“Very good. You are now under the hypnotic spell of Sunset Shimmer, Mistress of the Mind. You will follow all of my commands and suggestions. You are hypnotized and must obey me.”
“Yes I must obey you Mistress Sunset,” Flutteryshy said.
“Very good. Now for your first command I want you to think you are a frog when I snap my fingers.”
A quick finger snap from Sunset resulted in Fluttershy to drop down on all fours.
“Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit,” Fluttershy said, as she flicked her tongue in and out a few times as she “hopped” around the stage.
“Very good, you can stop now.”
“Yes Mistress Sunset,” Fluttershy said getting to her feet.
“Next I want you to stand at attention as your muscles grow firm. Firm and frozen. All your muscles are frozen in place. You are like a stone statue.”
I am a statue. I must obey, Fluttershy thought.
Sunset moved a couple of chairs behind Fluttershy and walked over to her.
Fluttershy was standing straight and stiff as a board with her arms at her sides.
Working carefully and deliberately Sunset positioned Fluttershy so that she was suspended between the two chairs. Once that was done Sunset actually sat down on the hypnotized Fluttershy.
“You make a cute piece of furniture,” Sunset said, as she ran a hand across Fluttershy’s stomach.
After a few more seconds she got back up and once again worked carefully and deliberately to bring Fluttershy back into a standing position.
“And relax your muscles again,” Sunset said, snapping her fingers.
Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief as her arms became loose and limp and her head dropped down to her chest.
“You’ve been a great subject so far,” Sunset said, as she stroked the side of Fluttershy’s face, “Now for a suggestion I’m sure you’ll find to be really fun. When I snap my fingers you will open your eyes but remain deeply hypnotized. You will find yourself having become very attracted to me. In fact you will be so enamored you will find yourself working up the courage to ask me to the dance. Do you understand?”
“Yes Mistress Sunset I understand,” Fluttershy said.
“Good,” Sunset said, as she snapped her fingers.
Fluttershy’s eyes blinked open, revealing they had turned into teal and black spirals and she looked over at Sunset.
It’s Sunset Shimmer! She’s so amazing and beautiful, Fluttershy thought, as she stared at Sunset Shimmer, She’s so perfect. Perfect hair, perfect body, perfect legs, perfect everything! I wonder if she’d want to go to the dance with me…no she’d never want to go with someone like me.
“Oh hi there Fluttershy,” Sunset said, as she smiled and waved.
“Eeeep! I mean…Hello Sunset,” Fluttershy said, blushing.
She said ‘hi’! It’s a sign. Maybe I should say hi back.
“Hi Sunset,” Fluttershy said.
Nailed it.
“What brings you here today?” Sunset said, resisting the urge to giggle as she led Fluttershy along.
Oh no, what do I do. Here she is such a perfect and beautiful girl and I’m just standing around like an idiot, Fluttershy thought, I need to ask her now.
“I um…I uhhhhhhh…”
“Yes.”
“I was wondering….if…you…uhhhhh.”
“Go on. No need to be shy.”
“I was wondering if you would….Like to go with me to the dance!” Fluttershy practically shouted the last part in effort to finally say it.
“Awww you’re so cute. I’d love to,” Sunset said, as she walked over and kissed Fluttershy on the cheek.
The kiss caused Fluttershy to erupt into an even deeper blush.
She said yes! She said yes! Fluttershy thought, I need to find a dress. I wonder how many dances we’ll dance to. I wonder if we’ll kiss. I wonder if we’ll dance and kiss. I wonder if….
“Sorry Fluttershy but it’s time to sleep again,” Sunset said, as she snapped her fingers.
Fluttershy’s eyes locked shut again.
“It’s been fun but our show is now at an end so in a moment I’m going to wake you up.”
“Before you do, give her a suggestion that once she wakes up she’ll stand by and wait to be hypnotized by me,” Fanta said.
“Yes Ms. Fanta. I will obey,” Sunset said.
“Now Fluttershy I’m going to wake you up from your hypnotic trance. However once I do you will remain on stage and wait for Ms. Fanta to hypnotize you. Do you understand?”
“Yes Mistress Sunset,” Fluttershy replied.
“Very good. Now on the count of three you will come out of hypnosis. One…Two…Ready to wake up…Three…wide awake,” Sunset said, clapping her hands.
Fluttershy’s eyes blinked open and she smiled.
“That was a lot of fun,” Fluttershy said, “Would you really go out to a dance with me if I asked?”
“In a heartbeat.”
Sunset’s comment only made Fluttershy smile more broadly.
“Well I guess it’s time to be hypnotized again. I’m ready Ms. Fanta,” Fluttershy said.
“Of course,” Fanta said, getting up from her seat, “Sunset why don’t you go change back into your regular clothes and come back here.”
“Yes Ms. Fanta,” Sunset said.
Once she was gone Fanta walked over to Fluttershy, “Now Fluttershy just relax and look into my eyes.”
Fluttershy’s gaze locked on Fanta’s as the Fantasy Bot’s eyes turned into spirals once more.
Sunset quickly made her way back to the hidden lab and took off her stage hypnotist outfit. She then picked up her discarded pile of clothes and put them back on. She then retraced her steps back to the ballroom. Inside Fluttershy was sitting in a chair her eyes now displayed the same transparent silver and black spirals Sunset’s did.
“Take a seat,” Fanta said, motioning to an empty chair next to Fluttershy.
“Yes Ms. Fanta,” Sunset said, sitting down.
“Now then according to my operational records I was deactivated for twenty five years,” Fanta said, “And looking at the mansion my creator has been gone just as long. I don’t know where he went but I believe he would want me to carry out the purpose he built me for. To bring people’s fantasies to life for a low low price. So tell me what would be the best way to do that in this new era?”
“The internet,” Fluttershy and Sunset said in unison.
“Please explain.”
An hour later Fanta had an in-depth knowledge of the internet and had even set up a website with the help of Sunset’s smart phone.
“Thank you for all your help,” Fanta said, “Now I’m going to bring you out of your trances and bring your fantasies to an end. However since we never signed any official fantasy documentation you will only remember what happened to you in the mansion as if it were some fantastical dream. Now sleep.”
Fluttershy and Sunset’s eyes locked shut.
“I will be leaving now. In twenty minutes you will wake up. You will no longer be hypnotized and will no longer feel the need to obey me. You will feel refreshed and wonderful remembering this as only a dream like a good fleeting fantasy. Thank you once again Sunset Shimmer for reactivating me. Perhaps we’ll meet again one day.”
Fanta then walked out of the room and into the forest. Fluttershy and Sunset continued to enjoy their hypnotized sleep. At one point Fluttershy’s head shifted so her head was resting on Sunset’s shoulder.
Twenty minutes passed by and Sunset’s eyes flickered open. She saw Fluttershy’s head resting on her shoulder and smiled. A short while later Fluttershy came out of hypnosis as well.
“What…what’s going on?” Fluttershy asked.
“We must have come in here for a break and fell asleep,” Sunset said, “I had the craziest dream. I dreamt I went in for a checkup and the nurse hypnotized me.”
“Really I had a dream about being hypnotized too,” Fluttershy said, “Only it was you that hypnotized me as part of a stage show.”
“Heh, sounds like I had a lot more fun in your dream then in mine,” Sunset said, “Anyways let’s go home before we have any more crazy dreams.”
“Agreed.”
“So, did you ever see the white squirrels?” Sunset asked as the two of them left the mansion together.

Hello and welcome to my first Equestria Girls Fic. This is actually a requested story by the great pikatwig: over on deviantart.com who back and forthed the idea with me to maybe write and help get my creative juices flowing. It took a little bit of a delay but I got it written ;)
I hope you all enjoyed this Pre-Rainbow rocks story with Sunset, Fluttershy and Fanta the hypnotic fantasy bot.
I kinda pictured her as a kind of mobile Fantasy Island in a sense. And I kinda pictured Fluttershy's internal monologue as voiced by Mabel from Gravity Falls when she had been hypnotized to fall for Sunset Shimmer.
