Not a hero, just a courier
April Fool's Day special
Previous Chapter"Smoke Weed Every Day!" courier shouted at the top of his lungs as he drunk yet another bottle of wasteland tequila. He was currently sitting in his armchair in botanical garden. He pulled that piece of furniture here, before he closed the door to his bedroom, where the unicorn was sleeping.
"Might I suggest that sir would stop drinking, it would be beneficial for the entire Sink," central intelligence unit said in it's British voice.
"Shut up, I am drunk and I want to stay drunk. I had enough of this nonsense. First Indiana Jones in a Fridge, then Aliens and then fucking Walking Eyes! What is this some sort of cartoon or a fiction written by a horny teenager that has never kissed a girl?!"
"That actually hurt you know," said a new voice. Courier's eyes darted to the newcomer. His eyes went wide open as the bottle slipped through his fingers and shattered into pieces on the floor. Right in front of him there was a ghost like being, that looked like a poor imitation of the wastelander. A pre-war helmet that wouldn't stop a bullet, a horrendous gas mask and a big long leather coat, almost as good as his.
"The hell are you?"
"Oh, I don't know, you tell me, Mr Dead Drunk."
"I think ... you are a ghost," courier slurped out.
"Close enough. Now let's talk, Courier or should I say DRAKE," the figure said causing the man to jump onto his feet, pull out a revolver and shoot the ghost. The bullet flew right the being, hitting the wall outside.
"Well, fuck. I knew I was drunk, but this is ridiculous."
"Stop thinking about it before your head explodes. I have got some important news for you. First of I have got an idea for a very long story involving you. You will go to the land of ponies and get laid by one!"
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
"YEEESSSS! ... Just kidding," the figure said before the courier charged it and swung his trusty sledgehammer at the ghost, causing a dent in the floor.
He glared at the ghost before he said, "That wasn't funny!"
"I have got different opinion. You should have seen the look on your face. Now then take care courier, I am going to leave you alone, at least for now. Don't worry I will be back in one year to torture you some more. Until then Hasta La Vista Baby!" The ghost said before it shoot from its fingers, which were shaped like a gun.
When the courier woke up, he noticed that he fell asleep in his armchair. As he felt a bottle in his hand, he breathed out a sigh of relief. It was just a dream. As sweet liquor poured down his throat, he didn't notice a new object sitting on the table.
It was a small figure of both the courier and a certain gray unicorn fully grown up. In his arms there was something, wrapped in cloth. What it was nobody knew, but the courier had a big smile on his face as he held it.
