Spitfire looked outside at the crashing storm as she sat on the couch with her blanket adorned on herself.It crashed loudly outside the dormitory but Fleetfoot comforted her by saying it was a good movie day.Fleetfoot was her best friend.They had know each other since they were little fillies.It was beautiful memories of her childhood.It was perfect to think about on such a gloomy stormy night.Like this one.
"Sure is stormy out there".Spitfire told her best friends,Fleetfoot.
"I know".She said in response,while she searched through the DVD pile for an exciting movie to watch.She was set on turning this day into an interesting day for the Wonderbolts.Fleetfoot was a true optimist.Even since their childhood.
"What are the boys doing"?Spitfire asked.
"Oh well Wavechill is playing Call of Duty".Fleeetfoot answered bashfully.Spitfire knew that her crush was Wavechill.Ever since the first day that light blue pony had been attached to him.Spitfire had never revealed it,but she actually she was in love with Soarin.If only she could tell someone,but she had a reputation as a tuff girl.Being the leader of the elite flying squad she had to be tuff.She was naturally sassy and tuff from the start thought.The manager had said to stay completely tuff all the time.No weaknesses,no love,none of that stuff.She hoped one day she could break the rules and be able to choose her romantic dream.Making it a reality was jus a wish away
"Do you wanna watch Daring Do and the Sapphire Stone"?Wavechill asked."Yeah,it's so cool".Spifire said smiling."Guys!We are watching Daring Do"!Fleetfoot exclaimed.
Wavechill soared out of his room with a bowl of popcorn in his hooves.He was in his pajamas and looked as though he knew that they were going to have movie night.Soarin came out of his room slowly and shyly like a scared foal.
"Is my hair messes up"?Spitfire wondered."Nah,I added my hair gel.Maybe its just him".Spitfire acted normal.
"Hey".He said to Spitfire.
"Oh hi".Spitfire said as Soarin got on the couch.
"Is there room for two under the blanket"?He shy asked her.
"Uh..yeah".She replied,trying her best to be normal.Spitfire tried to stay away from Soarin.It was hard since they were under a blanket.All of a sudden lighting crashed.Spitfire jumped in fright.She swore she jumped to the sky.Soarin put his hoof on her back and around her waist.
"Shh..it'll be ok".He whispered in her ear.Spitfire let her guard down after that.She rest her head on his strong muscular shoulder and closed her brown piercing eyes slowly.
"It feels like a dream".She thought as she rested her head on him.Spitfire could hear the movie's into start,but she was just too happy to be wrapped in his arms she didn't open her eyes.Was he just being a friend or was this romance?She pondered that as she just rest and let her troubles go.She felt free.
In the next few minuted,something was different.Soarin's grip was tighter and his head was rested on her head.It felt good,which was a first.She expected her friends to laugh.They didn't,they actually left her and Soarin alone."Thanks Wavechill".She thought.She knew Wacechill did this so that the romance wouldn't be broken.But Soarin soon did something different.This was very different.
He then sat up a bit and he then gave her a kiss on the head.Soarin whispered softly,"I love you".Spitfire's heart beat faster than her fastest fly record.This was serious.Her wish had come true.She wasn't even trying.It just fell into place.It was as if the universe willed this to happen.It truly felt like it was meant to be"I love you too".She said kissing his jaw."I love you even more".He told her scooting towards her.
Spitfire fell asleep.Her piercing brown eyes closed.Her sassy personality completely gone.Only the sweet dreams.Soarin tried to stay still letting her rest on him.
"I can't believe I just did that".He thought to himself."I just made a move and she liked it".He felt an odd tingle go through him.It was either love or the pie aftertaste.
"Hey dude".Wavechill said as he walked into the dimly light room.
"Look".Soarin said softly so that Spitfire wouldn't wake up.
"I wish I could do that with Fleetfoot."He said sadly.Soarin smiled looking down at the gold pony in his arms.He could see that she had trust in him.She looked as though she had complete trust i him to be there,to just be HIM.Spitfire wriggled.
"I'll leave.Dont want her dumping you on the first date".Wavechill said trotting to his room.He looked as though he was going to stay up all night playing Call of Duty.
"Wake up".He whispered as Spitfire slowly got up.She sat up.Her brown eyes opened tiredly.She yawned.Spitfire looked confused as she looked at him.
"What happened"?She said."Was that a dream"?She asked him.
"No."He told her.He stroked her wings,giving her some comfort.He then let her put her lean back on his shoulder.She drifted back onto his shoulder,peacefully."Shh".He said as he removed a piece of her hot fiery hair out of her face."Go to sleep".He whispered as he clenched her by his side.
Spitfire just closed her eyes again and fell asleep slowly.Her breath was heavy and she had complete trust in him.He looked at her and the he realized.
"Your mine".He muttered as he fell asleep as well.
