Crystal's Magical Christmas
Christmas had come early for Ponyville, and everypony was excited. Even Crystal Harmony, a pegasus Galaxy Nebula had known since fillyhood. Crystal also had a crush on Galaxy, and tonight, she was going to tell him how she felt about him. Galaxy was even planning a big Christmas party tonight, and all his pals were invited. Pinkie Pie had helped with the decorations. "Aren't you just excited?!" Pinkie whooped. Galaxy laughed.
"OK there, Pinkie, calm down. It's only my 15th Christmas party since I moved to Ponyville." He chuckled. Pinkie smiled. Crystal saw that Galaxy was looking in her direction, and blushed lightly. Oh Celestia, he's looking at me! Crystal thought.
"Quick, say something to him!" A voice in Crystal's head said. Crystal sighed and trotted over. Galaxy looked up and smiled.
"Hey, there's my fillyhood friend." He said. Crystal smiled and hugged him. "You excited for the party tonight?" Galaxy asked. Crystal nodded and smiled. Quillton trotted over. "Ah my travel buddy!" Galaxy laughed. Quillton rolled his eyes and smiled.
"How's my assistant?" He asked. Galaxy scoffed.
"Assistant?" He laughed. Quillton chuckled.
"Let me rephrase that. My time travel partner." He corrected himself. Galaxy laughed and put a hoof around his travel buddy.
"I'm fine with that." He said. Crystal giggled.
"Crystal." Quillton said.
"Hey, Quill." Crystal replied. Galaxy checked his watch.
"Hey guys, I gotta go get some last few things for the party, I'll see you tonight, OK?" Galaxy asked. Quillton and Crystal nodded. Then he looked up at his sister Crimson. "Crim, you coming?" He asked. Crimson flew down.
"Of course!" She whooped. "Race ya!" She said as she took off. Galaxy laughed.
"Oh it is on!" Galaxy whooped as he took off. Crystal smiled.
"Those two seem to be so close." She said. Mocha trotted up behind her. "Oh hey, Mocha." She smiled. Mocha smiled back.
"Crimson and Galaxy are the closest siblings I've ever seen." Mocha told Crystal. "I've seen them do a lot together. Of course, they're pegasai, so they can race each other by flight." She giggled. "How are you?" She asked. Crystal shrugged. "I see the way you look at Galaxy sometimes, you know." Mocha winked. Crystal blushed.
"I don't know if he likes me back, though." She said. "Mocha, you have a coltfriend. How did you win him over?" She asked. Mocha pondered.
"Well, I was just myself and I've known him for a while, besides Valerium is a nice colt, what I'm trying to say is, be yourself." Mocha smiled. Crystal did too.
"Thanks, Mocha." She said. Mocha nodded, and heard a crash behind her, causing her to cringe.
"What the Celestia was that?" She asked. She turned around to see Quillton having a hard time putting up the lights, and his ladder had fallen down. His hoof was on his head.
"Bloody lights." He muttered. "That is one pain of Christmas, ringing up lights." He looked up at Galaxy's roof. "Great, now I have to put them all back up again." He groaned. "Mocha, a little...." He said before Mocha's horn glowed bright yellow and used her magic to hang all the lights. "Help. Thanks, dearie." He said. Mocha smiled. Later that night, the guests started arriving. All of Galaxy's friends were there. Garfield, Mocha, Quillton, Valerium, Crystal, Paradise, Breeze, along with Twilight and her friends. Applejack had made the Apple Cider.
"Best...party...ever!" Rainbow Dash whooped as she danced with Soarin. She was blushing and smiling. Twilight was dancing with Flash. They were dancing a slow dance, Twilight's head on Flash's shoulder, flying in the air. Crystal was sitting on the couch, looking over at Galaxy, who was chatting away with Mocha and Quillton. Mocha noticed Crystal glancing over.
"Hey Galaxy, you know, I think Crystal wants to talk to you." She told him. Galaxy looked behind him, and nodded, trotting over to her. Crystal glanced up.
"Hey." She said.
"Hey." Galaxy replied. "You OK?" He asked. Crystal nodded.
"Galaxy, can I talk to you outside, alone?" Crystal asked. Galaxy nodded, and followed Crystal outside on his porch.
"So what did you want to talk about, Crystal?" Galaxy asked. Crystal sighed.
"Galaxy, for as long as I can remember, I've sort of....had a crush on you, ever since, oh I don't know, 9th grade, you, 10th grade." Crtsyal told him. Galaxy said nothing yet, and he let Crystal continue. "Galaxy, what I'm trying to say is, I love you, and I always will, even if you don't love me." She said, lowering her head. Galaxy lifted it up with a hoof, smiling.
"How could I reject a pegasus such as amazing as you?" He asked. Crystal had tears of joy in her eyes. "I love you, Crystal Harmony." He smiled. Crystal hugged him. Then, they looked up, a small plant with a red bow towards the end. They blushed. "Mistletoe." Galaxy said. Crystal nodded.
"Merry Christmas, Galaxy." She said.
"Merry Christmas, Crystal." Galaxy said just before their lips connected in a magical kiss. They kept them connected for what seemed forever, but instead was only a minute. When they broke the kiss, they both blushed. Mocha walked out onto the porch, and saw them together. She glanced up and smiled.
"Caught him under the mistletoe, did ya?" She smirked. "Nice one." She winked at Crystal. Crystal blushed again. "Oh, my coltfriend wants me for something, see you lovebirds later." Mocha said. Crimson and her friend Elie giggled quietly up on the roof, holding up the mistletoe.
"Guess when they get married, you'll have a sister-in-law." Elie said. Crimson gasped and shoved her friend playfully. Galaxy wrapped a wing around Crystal, gazing at the moon. Crystal leaned her head on Galaxy's shoulder, closing her eyes, smiling.
"Galaxy, I'm so happy right now." She said to her new coltfriend. Galaxy kissed the top of her head.
"Me too." Galaxy smiled, leaning his head on Crystal's. Then, Galaxy pulled out a small purple box. Crystal opened her eyes and glanced at it.
"What's that?" She asked. Galaxy smiled, and opened it. Crystal gasped. Inside was a golden heart shaped necklace that Crystal had seen when she was just a filly. "Galaxy, you got that? For me?" She asked, tears of joy in her eyes. Galaxy nodded.
"I knew it was the one thing you always wanted, so, I saved up my money to buy it for somepony special." He smiled. Crystal smiled, and hugged Galaxy as he put the necklace around her neck. She opened it, and inside was the picture of Crystal and Galaxy as fillies.
"Oh Galaxy, thank you." Crystal kissed Galaxy's cheek. Galaxy kissed hers back. Crystal laid her head on Galaxy shoulder again, and soon fell asleep. Together, they slept under the starry night sky.
