Windy Dusk is a young pegasus colt taking a 'vacation' alone from snobbish Canterlot Nobles. Frost is the name an abandoned changeling nymph gave herself for an impromptu infiltration mission. They've found their way to Ponyville, being sent to an orphanage where it looks like they may be able to live somewhat happily. But the new-found pair might just want to reconsider their positions when a world-changing event reveals Frost's kind 'for what they really are'.
