This is sort of an alternate reality to my next gen stories that takes place when Phoenix Flare becomes consumed by dark magic and he succeeds is taking over Equestria. He banished the princess and any other resistors to Tartarus, but only kept aliconr Gallant Shield and Ember Heart around. Ember Heart is now his royal adviser and Gallant Shield....Well he wants him as a bride. Gallant Shield had changed to his dark form from when NIghtmare Moon had possessed him in order to try and defeat Phoenix, but he failed. Phoenix Flare or Phoenix Force as he changed his name to sound more intimidating now wants to marry Gallant Shield so he can have a dark queen to rule by his side.
