Chapters Days after Wits told them not to follow her, Twilight and her teammates had managed to track down Wits and was following her from a distance and she didn't know it. Or so they thought.
"Twilight, are you sure that she doesn't know that we are following her?" Shining Armor asked in a whisper.
"Positive." Twilight answered in a whisper.
Sharp Wits was trotting through a forest, which gave them plenty of places to hide. Even though they had no idea where Wits was heading they still followed her.
"So do any of y'all have any idea as to where she is going?" Shining Armor asked.
"Not a clue. But it is getting dark. Wits should be bunking down for the night." Twilight said as she looked up at the sky. And just as Twilight predicted Wits set up camp and went to sleep.
Hours later when nopony was looking, Wits got out of her sleepingbag and snuck up behind Twilight and the others.
"You know you weren't doing a good job following me right." Wits said right behind Twilight and the others causing them to jump.
"Wait, how long have you known that we were following you?" Twilight asked.
"The whole time." Wits said looking at her forehoof.
"So, what happens now?" Cadence asked looking up at Wits.
"Now I knock you four out and continue on my mission. Since y'all clearly don't understand my orders." Wits said as her horn lit up. "I'm sorry."
There was a flash of bright light and sounds of bodies hitting the ground. As the light faded Wits was walking away with tears of regret welling up in her eyes.
Hours later the four ponies were starting to wake up.
"What happened to us?" Blueblood asked standing up.
"Wits blasted us a sleep spell, then left." Twilight said staring at the dirt.
"Wits must be very serious about this mission and us not getting involved in it." Cadence said helping Shining Armor up.
"It appears so." Twilight said. "But I'm not going to let her go at this alone." Twilight said slamming her hoof into the ground.
"Twilight, your not gonna be doing this alone." Blueblood said. "Me and Wits are married and that means that I'm not gonna let her do this alone either."
"We have to find out where she's gonna go so we can follow her there." Cadence said.
"Well if it's gonna be like any of our other missions, then it's gonna be at the old library. She must have gone this way to throw us off." Shining Armor said thinking.
"That's true. For some reason all of our previous missions had all eventually led us to the old library." Cadence said.
"Then let's get going." Twilight said with clear excitement in her voice.
"Look. There she is. Just like y'all predicted she would be." Blueblood said as they arrived at the library and saw Wits enter it.
"Let's go." Twilight said.
Twilight and the others were entering the library when they heard the sounds of metal clashing against metal.
"Come on." Twilight yelled before galloping off towards the sounds with the others close behind her.
"There you are." Wits said as she entered a large room and saw a grey pony with a cobalt blue mane and tail clad with golden armor.
"So you've finally found me. To be honest I thought you would've done that a long time ago." the pony said.
"What can I say. I had my hands busy. Busy with killing all the spirits you sent to kill me." Wits said drawing her sword. "I have a score to settle and a plate of revenge for you." Wits said with a dark tone in her voice.
"Oh, alrighty then. I suppose I could have some fun with you before you die." the pony said as it got up and drew its sword. "Let's dance." it said before charging at Wits with the sword held high.
"Look up there." Blueblood said pointing to a flashing light where the sound of metal against metal was coming from. "That must be them."
"Agreed. Let's go and take a look." Twilight said.
Clang. Clang.
"You're pretty good with a sword, Wits. " the pony said. "But can you fight me and my army?"
All of a sudden a horde of spirits appeared and started to attack Wits.
"You seriously think a few spirits will stop me." Wits said as she slashes and stabbed the spirits causing them to disappear in a puff of smoke. "I've fought more than my fair share of master spirits in the multi-verse and a king spirit on the arsenic gas swamps of Satron 4 in the Alpha Centeryprime universe. They all fell." Wits said not taking her eyes off the grey pegasus.
"You of all people should know that master and king spirits are weak compared to me." the pegasus said cacklin as Wits slayed the last spirit.
"That I won't ever forget. Not only did you take my family, but you also ruined my life." Wits said as the pegasus raised its sword and charged at Wits. In one swift motion Sharp Wits blocked the attack and disarmed her opponent. "You thought that those spirits would've made me use all my skills so you could come up with ways to counter them. Well you've failed." Wits exclaimed as she raised her sword for the killing blow. With a hard downward swing Wits' sword split into the spirits head. "What? A clone. Nice job you actually had me fooled." Wits said when the spirit puffed away, before she twirled around and went to attack the pony that was behind her.
"Woah." Cadence exclaimed ducking under the swing. "Careful it's me, Cadence."
"Prove it." Wits seethed. "Prove you're really Cadence." Wits held her sword point at Cadences neck.
"Um. Okay fine you got me." Cadence said as she morphed into its true form.
A large, towering, very hairy creature with 12 inch horns sprouting out from its head. Morphing it's hand into a sword, the monster knocked Wits sword out of her grasp. The sword clattered across the floor.
"You die here." Thr monster boomed as it raised its sword above its head. There was a great flash of light as the sword made contact with Wits.
When the light faded the monster saw Wits holding up a hoof where the sword struck.
"You're gonna have to do better than that." Wits said with a smirk before she pushed the sword aside, turned around, and, using her back legs, kicked the monster square in the chest, sending it flying across the room.
"Wits! You did it!" Twilight called trotting up to Wits.
"Didn't I tell you to-" Wits was cut off by the sound of metal cutting through bone and flesh.
"NO!" Blueblood yelled galloping up to Wits.
"Not... gonna go... down... that... easily. " Wits grunted grabbing the sword tip and started pushing it back. "It's... gonna... take... more than... that to...stop me." Wits grunted before her sword was shoved farther into her chest. "Yep, that... should... do it." Wits gasped before her body went limp and her sunglasses fell off, revealing her cobalt blue eyes. "Good...bye. My... friends." Wits said before falling to the floor in a puddle of blood.
"NOOOO!!!" Blueblood yelled as his horns lit up in a flash of burning blue light. When the light eventually faded, the team saw a statue in the from of the monster standing right next to Wits, before it crumbled away.
"Blueblood what did you do?" Twilight asked looking at Blueblood. When he didn't answer, Twilight poked him with her hoof and he toppled over and shattered, like glass, on the floor.

It has been years since Wits had left Equestria. And things were finally turning back to normal. Now Twilight, Shining Armor, and Cadence, as well as a depressed Prince Blueblood, kept Equestria safe from the spirits that wish to take over.
"(Sigh). I wonder what Wits is doing now." Twilight said to herself as she grabbed her weapons and armor, and headed out to go to training. It was starting to get a bit boring fighting these things.
As soon as Twilight stepped out of her home she saw the rest of the team standing at her door waiting on her.
"Ready to go, Twilight?" Cadence asked as Twilight shut the door her house.
"Yeah, let's get going." Twilight said stepping away from the tree that she called home, and started walking towards their training grounds. Upon arrival they saw a pony.
"What's up." the mysterious pony said before removing her sunglasses, revealing a pair of cobalt blue eyes. "Long time no see. How have y'all been doing?"
"Um... Okay. Excuse me but who are you? You look awfully familiar." Twilight said staring at the pony in front of her.
"Again Twilight? Come on, I thought you were my friend." the mysterious pony said. As everypony else started to snicker.
"What? What are you all laughing at?" Twilight asked looking at the others.
"You really don't remember me do ya? Well how about a refresher." the mysterious pony said before removing a sword from the scabbard on her back, she twirled the sword around before she lunged at a tree where she did a repetitive attack that, when done, left a name in the the bark.
Sharp Wits
"Wits?" Twilight said before hugging Wits. "Oh I'm so happy to see you again." Twilight said as she rambled on about what has happened since she left. "Why did you leave? You know you broke Bluebloods heart when you left him at the podium after you two exchanged your vows."
"Twilight. There's something I have to tell you. All of you." Wits said wriggling out of Twilights grasp.
"What?" they all asked at once.
"Look. I left because I didn't have a choice in the matter. My spirit can't stay in a universe that isn't my own for long periods of time. So I had to leave so my spirit could heal itself. But I diverse. There is a new spirit running around Equestria, and not just an ordinary spirit. A demonic spirit. Demonic spirits are the toughest of the tough. Even master spirits fear them. And I have a personal connection to this spirit." Wits said cracking her neck. "I have to tell you all this so none of y'all die trying to take it down. I'm even going to have a hard time with it. Don't follow me. That's an order." Wits said before she turned to walk away before she stopped. She looked back at Blueblood and sent him a wink of her eye and blew him a kiss, before turning and walking away.
