Honestly, I hate them to the bottom of my heart, which is made of ice. It breaks if you do the slightest thing to it. Think of my everyday morning with my parents beating me with a whip to wake me up. It hurts, a lot. My brother, Burning Blaze is their favorite, just because he acted cuter when we were foals, yes he is my twin. The horrible one. My parents treat him like a prince, and he acts like Blueblood himself! Other than my already horrible life at home I attend Cloudsdale School of Studies, or CSS for short. And if you can guess, my life is also horrible over there too. Bullied, abused, even threatened with death! But I still manage to hold onto the ledge of this gaping hole called Equestria. Only problem that is in my way is the crush I have who is in my homeroom, Lighting Blade, there are many reasons why I like him. Like his personality for example! He is sweet kind and caring to his friends and people around him, and I know he likes me too..but, we’re both too shy to say it. Anyways, enough about my life let's spring forward onto hearth’s warming day. “Wake up Dipshit! It’s Hearth’s Warming day!” My brother jumped on my back, excruciating pain came along with. “I’ll come out ins a bit, you kinda hurt my back there…” “My back feels fine! Come on! I got presents to open!” “Your such a fucking retard-” SNAP! “Owwww!!!” “Get up Winter Ice, your brother has presents to open and we are NOT waiting all day for you to cry in your bed!” Yup! you heard my parents, to get out my bed to WATCH my brother get his presents, because my parents only buys one of us gifts, and that’s always Burning Blaze. Not the best of my life today but after a while you just really don’t care anymore, it’s like a routine. Get beat, bullied and cry to sleep, wash and repeat. Anyways, I got up and ate some of the gruel my mom ate and sat down on the couch in the living room to watch presents being opened. My brother was full of joy as he opened his gifts, he got everything he wanted! He got phones, MP3 players, new video game consoles and guess what I got, nothing. Even a sack of coal was better than nothing, you at least got something! After, our parents sent us off to school for ANOTHER horrible day at CSS! When we got to our bus stop I heard my usual neighborhood bullies, Hyper Chaser and Thunder Tumble. “Yo! It’s Blaze! What’cha get for Hearth's Warming? We got a Neightendo 64!” Exclaimed Thunder Tumble. “Sup guys!” Blaze said while doing their secret brohoof his buds, “You won’t believe what I got this year! I got EVERYTHING! From MP3 players to the new PonyBox One!” “Woah! You’re parents are like, rich! What did your burden over there get?” Hyper Chaser asked my brother. “Nothing! Ha! She never gets anything, she just going to be the downfall of our family!” Blaze kept talking, “I don’t even know why they still keep her around!” “H-hey! Our parents keep me around for a bunch of reasons!” I said in protest back. “Our parents? Yeah right! I bet you're adopted!” Blaze said as him and his friends punched me in the face. “Just leave me the buck alone you assholes!” I shouted, everypony else looking at us. “Just our little loser! Move along!” Thunder exclaimed to the other pegasi. Thankfully the bus came and everypony got in line. We got on, the bus still smelled like rotten cheese like usual. I sat down in the front so nopony could see me. I sat there as ponies one by one boarded the bus. Ponies staring and pointing at me. I saw my brother, gossiping with the others at the back of the bus. Probably from this morning, how he got everything and I got nothing for Heart’s Warming. After a dreadful bus ride we got the CSS. The building had Hearth’s Warming lights all hung round’, our principal, Dark Spectre is pretty much the spawn of Tirek, and guess where he was? Right outside the school doors, giving everypony candy canes. From what I said about him, he sounds pretty nice! Nope! So I stalled behind and was going to be the last pony until Lightning Blade caught up to me. “Hey Winter I-” Lightning trying to talk to me. “EEP!” I shouted, falling backwards on my hooves, almost to fall through the clouds, Lighting caught me. “Woah, calm down...I’m here.” Lightning said as he pulled me up. “Heh, I knew that….Um, Thanks a bunch Lightning for catching me.” I replied, blushing at him. “Hey, would you like to hang out after school? We could hang out by that bridge in Ponyville.” he said, ruffling his mane. “I really don’t know, I might be in trouble because of him” I said pointing my head to Principal Spectre. “Oh...I wonder why you always get in trouble and get called down to his or Cinch’s office.” he replied. “That’s another mystery I have to solve but I have to face him sooner or later so...see you in homeroom?” I asked. “See you in homeroom Winter” Lightning replied “See ya.” I said back. He ran ahead into the building and I walked, nopony else was outside but me and the Principal. “Ms.Ice! My office, NOW.” “Yes Principal Spectre…” We walked down the hall at the wrong time, when everypony else were out in the hallways. As we trotted down the expansive hallway I heard other ponies laughing at me and teasing me. I tried to hide my face in my mane from my tears. “Hey look! It Winter CRY!” A stallion said. “Going down to the office to get your wunchy-wunch from mom?” Hyper teased. “Hey sis! What about your run away from home? They don’t want you there anyways!” Blaze said, punching me in the face. “Move along kids, OR YOU'RE GOING TO DETENTION!” Principal Spectre yelled as everypony got into the classrooms because the bell rung. We got to the office where the secretaries greeted Principal Spectre, he waved to them as he unlocked the door to his office, a huge one at that fact. It was smaller than one of our classrooms yes, but much bigger than Assistant Principal Cinch. It had clean white tiled floors, a hardwood desk in the middle of the room. It also had bookshelves full of student records as well as a school trophy display in the back circling a huge window. He had a leather chair, you could tell it was new from the Hearth’s Warming tag it had on it from his mom. It made me chuckle for a little bit. “Sit!” Spectre yelled. I sat down without hesitation. “We have gotten reports from your brother that you vandalised the school while the school was closed.” Spectre explained, “That means you have a vandalism fine as well as a trespassing fine, which equals to about 200 bits.” “200 bits?! I don’t have that money! Plus, that wasn’t me! I stayed at home all night! My brother was out with Hyper Chaser and Thunder Tumble!” I replied. “Likely story Ms.Ice, but since it IS Hearth’s Warming I’ll let you off, but I’m calling your parents.!” “Yes Principal Spectre….” I trotted down the hallway and saw my friends Hoops and Rainbow Dash. They trotted up to me and started to chat. They started to be friends with me since the first day of school, they’re really my only friends. I’m fine with it but I’m just surprised they wanted to be friends! Hoops has a mechanical wing and leg from “Dumbbell” when he RPGed the wall in while he was massaging Rainbow and ripped off his legs and his wing burned off, but that was really not the case. “Hey Winter.” Hoops said. “Sup!” Rainbow Dash said “So why were you in Spectre’s office?” Hoops asked. “Remember when I told you my brother vandalised the school?” I asked the two. “Yup.” Rainbow Dash replied “He blamed me on it, like I told you he would.” I explained. “Dang! Did he let you off?” Hoops asked. “Sorta, he’s going to call my parents though.” I replied. “That’s going to leave a mark, huh.” Rainbow said “Probably but we need to get to FicklePickle’s class,” I said, “We’re late as fuuuck.” “We got passes but you don’t! Come on!” Hoops said as he and Rainbow ran to the class. “Wait up!” I yelled running right behind them. Mrs.FicklePickle is my homeroom teacher, on the first day of school she let us introduce ourself and we had to say everything and if we lied she would know because she had a truth magic wand. When I went up to say things about me I told them I had a crush, Lightning knew but she wanted me to say it. What a jerk! Then Rainbow and Hoops saved my flank by making her break the stick. Anyways, I got into my seat, right behind Hoops and Rainbow Dash. They waved at me and I waved back and then I had a flashback from that day. “Alright, My name is Winter Ice. I have a crush but I won’t say who, I’m 15 years old and I have a twin brother” “Is he in here?” The teacher asked. “No.” “Oh, Ok! But I need to know your crush!” The teacher said. “What?” Hoops mumbled. “Oh come on!” I whispered in my head. “OBJECTION!!!” Rainbow screamed “This ain't a court honey..” the teacher said “Whatever! You don't need to know anyones crush! It's a secret! NO ONE HAS TO!” “Umm, Rainbow you're kinda getting out of hoof” I said to Rainbow. “Detention!” Teacher said. “OBJECTION!” Hoops said. “THIS ISN'T A COURT HOUSE!” She screamed. “SHE IS SAYING HER MIND! SHE IS SPEAKING THE TRUTH! YOU CRAZY IF YOU THINK SHE IS GOING TO SHARE HER CRUSH!” Hoops screamed back. “I'll give you a deal, both detention, or no detention and she had to share” The teacher said. “Guys, let me handle this..” I said. “No we got it!” The two said. “No,LET.ME .HANDLE.THIS!” I yelled at them. “Wait did you just realize she has a horn or something? Wait no that's not a horn, that a spell stick or something, I read about it. It's like a horn put for earth or pegasus. And that's how she reads minds!” Rd exclaimed. “WAAAAT! Guys, take it off and break it. On 3, 3!!!’’ I said as noticed the wand in her mane. “We don’t accept the deal, BUT!! You need to break that wand” Hoops said. “What wand!?!?” She lied. “That one!” She dropped it. “Fine” The teacher snapped it on her leg. Winter came back to reality and looked around, everything looked the same from the first day she came into the classroom with Hoops and Rainbow Dash. Everything just flashed like a wave in the ocean. A colour tsunami to say. When I got back, Mrs.FicklePickle was teaching the class about physics, boring ass shit that’s required in the 10th grade. After we had a discussion of what we learned. I always failed. Somehow I forget everything. After this it was lunch. Another thing about Rainbow and Hoops is that they’re both dating, not in the beginning. That what I know. On the first day, Dumbbell went over to where all three of us were sitting. “You want to fight again Dumbbell?!” Hoops said, “I have taken you down plenty of times!” “Wait what?” I said in confusion. “No I don't, I just want to tell you that Rainbow is lying to you!” Dumbbell said. “I don’t know what going on!” I yelled. “Look!” Dumbbell pointed to a photo with them as fillies. “Past friends!” Hoops replied back. “Then look at this! Rainbow attacking you!” He said. “It’s photoshop!” Hoops said pushing Dumbbell away. Then Dumbbell left. I went to talk to Dumbbell and he knew the real truth about Rainbow Dash and Hoops. Originally, Dumbbell recorded a video of a mare named Fluttershy and Rainbow having “sex” when it was just a video of Rainbow saying to Fluttershy to man up and eat a nut and then Rainbow got pissed, then Hoops blew up the school with his version of a sonic rainboom from that on time in summer flight camp. When he did it, he broke his leg. Which Rainbow Dash deliberately ripped off. His wing burned off too. Dumbbell and Hoops passed out, Dumbbell woke up a few hours later while Hoops took a year. When he did finally wake up Rainbow Dash lied to him about being his girlfriend. The first day I met the two I got the truth out of Rainbow Dash, Which was the same as Dumbbell. Rainbow Dash told Hoops and he forgave her and given her a second chance, and they're still a couple today! I sat down with and my phone started to ring. “One second guys, it’s my mom calling.” I said, “Ok Winter, it’s probably about the principal office thing.” Rainbow replied. “Hey mom.” I said into the phone. “So I got a phone call from Principal Spe-” My mom was saying before I cut her off. “I know, I had to get pulled down there this morning because ‘ I ’ vandalised the school. One, it’s Blazing Fire! Two, you KNOW I was home that night! So there is no possible way that I did it! Check the school cameras or something!” I yelled to my mom. “You're still grounded anyways.” My mom said back. “WHAT?!?!” I screamed. “One, Blaze is our angel. You're the one who does all the bad things! Two, you can leave this house if you have that attitude with me! Now goodbye!” My mom said as she hung up the phone. “Wanna get some lunch?” Rainbow suggested. “Sounds good!” Hoops replied to Rainbow. “S-sure…” I said back trying to hold back my tears. I just got a Hayburger and some Hay juice and sat down, my gut told me to jump off that opening to the outside but I also didn’t want to. How will Hoops and Rainbow react? I’ll just finish this and go. “Guys?” I said to the two. “Yeah?” Rainbow replied. “What’s up?” Hoops said back. “Forgive me for this…” I said as I ran towards the opening. “Wait what?.....WINTER!!!!!” Rainbow screamed. “GET BACK HERE!!” Hoops yelled at me. As I ran I felt the tears flying from eyes to my ears. As I ran I passed by Lightning Blade, which just led to more regret. I jumped, the cold wind against my body as I heard a voice from above. “WINTER!!!” Lightning said as readied his wings, “I’M COMING FOR YOU!!” Lightning jumped off, wings open as he flew faster to try to catch me. “Just let me fall Lightning!” I said, to attempt to get him to leave, “This isn’t your problem!” “Yes it is!” He continued, “What about your family?” “My family doesn't care about me! They abuse me, whip me, punish me every chance they get! How am I supposed to cope with that???” I yelled back at him, tears still flowing from my face and I dove. “You cope with it with friends!” Lightning screamed back at me. “And I have you, Hoops and Rainbow! How can you guys help?!?!” I yelled back to Lightning. “Because we are friends! Think about it! If everyone one hated you, and no one stood up for you, how would you feel?” Lightning screamed at the top of his lungs. “I had no friends before I met you three! I felt horrible! I’d probably be dead if you guys weren't here!” I started to scream at the top of my lungs and we still fell down “And how does that help you! Do you see what I mean! We are always there for you!” Lightning started to lose his voice. “...You’re right…” Winter said as she spread out her wings and started flying again, “Let’s land here.” I said as I pointed to a bridge in Ponyville. “Fewf…” Lightning panted, “Flapping wings that fast is hard. Wait, that’s the same bridge I invited you to this morning!” “Yeah, and school’s out see?” I said as I pointed to the school in the sky, mares and colts were flying out. “I never understood why we only have two classes, lunch and then we are free.” Lightning questioned looking upwards. “Me either.” I replied. “Jeez you almost died! I did not notice until now how close you were to the ground! Never do that again!” Lightning told me. “I know...my life been hard as of late.” I said, “It’s not school, it’s my family. You might of heard of my childhood.” I replied “Yeah I have, I know how bad it is but look past that.” Lightning said. “I try too, but when I do, someone messes it up.” I said back to Lightning. “Why don't you just come live with me?” Lightning asked. “I don’t know, with my parents and all and how?” I asked “Well I know a bit of your childhood, but that's all I need. You can call the ponylice, that's technically foal abuse.” Lightning answered. “True, but they’ll just send me to my cousin or something, and what about my brother?!” “Somehow you have to get into an orphanage. And then we can just adopt you! But wait that's like next to impossible…” Lightning attacked himself. “We can at least try!” I said back! “Hehe yeah-” He stopped, and was just staring in my eyes. Almost like in a spell. “You okay Lightning?” I asked. Then suddenly, like if that lifted the curse, he shook his head. “Oh, yeah” He said breaking loose of my eyes. “I have a secret, you promise you won’t tell?” Lightning said “Oh sure I promise!” I replied “Ok, here it goes. I have always, always admired you. Since the first day I saw you in fact .” Lightning confessed making me blush. “I-I so have I!” I replied. “Really? You think that I am cute?” Lightning looked up. “Cute? No, handsome!” I replied. “I-I don’t know what to say!” Lightning said. “I do, would you maybe want to hang out tonight?” I asked. “Y-Yes!” He replied. “Ayy Yeah!” I screamed at the same time somepony else did. I turned around and sure enough, there was Rainbow Dash in a tree. “How much did you see” I asked as I crept up to her “All of it..” Rainbow replied. “W-why?” I asked Rainbow. “Well If this lover boy couldn’t talk sense into you I decided to come down here. So if you had not flapped your wings I could save you. But there was no need. Then I could just not leave, so I watched it all!” Rainbow said. “Rainbow-” I was about to scream at her but then I stopped. She was willing to get in trouble for me? “Never mind, thanks.” “No problem, that’s what friends are for!” Rainbow replied. “By the way where is Hoops?” I asked. “Right here” Rainbow moving some branches around. “How much did you see!” I asked Hoops. “Hmm? Oh I saw nothing, I was watching those fillies play with there loopty hoops.” Hoops replied. “You saw everything, didn’t you.” I said with no emotion. “What no… Fine yes I did.” Hoops rolled his eyes. “Really! Are you kidding!” I screamed. “Hey I was just following my marefriend lead!” Hoops replied back. “Argh, fine whatever!” I said. “Well, what are you waiting for? JUST KISS ALREADY!!” Rainbow screamed. “YEAH!” Hoops screamed grabbing his popcorn. “Where did you get that popcorn?” Rainbow Dash asked, putting her hoof in it and eating it anyways. “Came out of one of Pinkie's portals.” Hoops replied “Where does she ever- OMG THERE KISSING!” Rainbow screamed. And right Rainbow was. We were kissing. It was one of the best days of my life. It was a quick kiss, then it was done. “Couple photo?” Rainbow dash asked. “Yup!” Hoops said raising his hoof in the air. He reached down into the tree and grabbed a camera. “Thanks Pinkie!” “Who is he talking to?” I asked Rainbow. “Heaven knows.. Anyway COUPLE PHOTO!” Rainbow screamed again.
