Chapters As Spike walked to Applejack's house in Sweet Apple Acres, he was imagining all of the work she needed help with.
Spike is a helpful dragon and will do anything to help his friends. As he arrived he knocked on the door, and Applejack opened it.
"Why howdy there Spike, What do you need help with, sugar cube?" asked Applejack in a polite and grateful manner. "Oh hey AJ, listen Rarity is in Baltimare and Twilight is in Canterlot, So I came here and I was wondering if you needed any help around the farm, bucking trees and what not" Responded Spike. "Well I do need help picking up the apples that fall on the ground when I'm bucking the trees, why not come inside spike" Replied Applejack.
"Oh that's great AJ, can we start now?"asked Spike. "Oh, uh sure, come inside Spike."
The two friends were bonding and started working on the farm.
It took them three hours but they were finally done.
"WELLP, THAT'S ALL OF THEM!" Yelled out Applejack as they were rapping up the last batch up apples for the day. Spike picked up all the apples that dropped on the floor, picked them up, and put them in the buckets.
"Hey Spike, would you like some apple cider?" Applejack asked Spike. "sure I would love some apple cider, Thanks AJ."
"Don't mention it Spike, It's what good friends do."
As Applejack gave the cider to Spike, Spike saw something in her eyes. He saw something so beautiful he can't explain, something he's never seen before not even in Rarity's eyes. Applejack caught Spike blushing as he looked her in the eyes.
"uh, Spike are you okay there, sugar cube?" Applejack asked. "oh, sorry AJ." Spike said as it woke him up from his daydream.
"Don't worry about it Spike, I just want to see if you are okay that's all." " Oh, Thank you AJ I really like how you care for me, that's really sweet of you." "That's what friends do, hey Spike, do you have any plans tomorrow?" "No, why" replied Spike. "Oh, I was wondering if you would like to come tomorrow for Diner?" Asked Applejack. "Sure Applejack I would love to come to your diner and I don't really have any plans this weekend." "Oh that is just great sugar cube, I can't wait, come around 7 and come with a big appetite for apples." "okay Applejack, Bye see you tomorrow then." Spike said as he left the house waving at Applejack. Applejack waved back at Spike with a big smile.
Spike is now, walking home from AJ's house. With a really concerned expression on his face as he walked to his bed.
As Spike woke up from his bed, He just remembered that he made plans with Applejack tonight.
"Oh, I just remembered I have plans with AJ tonight, But it's till 7 pm. What will I do in the mean time?" Spike questioned himself.
He was looking around the castle looking for something to do.
"Dang, it's really boring without Twilight or Rarity here to talk to. I guess I will just go back to bed, I mean I rarely got any sleep last night. What even happened last night? I could't sleep, those weird dreams kept me up all night." Spike mono logged to himself.
So Spike slept for most of the day, and this time, HE ACTUALLY SLEPT.
When he woke up, he saw the time on the clock, it read 6:55 pm.
" OH MY SWEET CELESTIA, I'M GOING TO BE LATE FOR MY DATE,I MEAN DINNER WITH APPLEJACK!!!"
The young drake lifted himself of the covers and ran to get a suit and tie for the dinner, Applejack invited him to.
As he suited up, he sprinted out the door and headed to Sweet Apple Acres with a stressful expression on his face.
He then arrived to Applejack's residence, and knocked on the door. He waited a few seconds but suddenly, A gorgeous mare opened the door, it was Applejack.
Applejack was wearing a green dress that matched her beautiful green eyes perfectly. Spike could not resist getting lost in her eyes as he smiled awkwardly at her.
"Howdy there Spike, I like how you came so prepared for dinner, come inside" Applejack greeted him.
Spike walked in and took a seat next to the table. "I wasn't really that prepared" He spoke to himself.
"I got everything set up for your visit,Spike" Applejack said as she took a seat facing him.
"Wow Aj, you really out done your self with this meal." Spike said as he took a bite into the delicious food she made for the dragon.
"Ah don't mention it Spike, it's just what good friends do."Applejack told him with a smile.
That's what good friends do, why does she say that all the time. I mean she has done everything to please me, and she would't do any of this to anypony else. Even though she is a kind pony, but she acts so weird around me. I THINK SHE LIKES ME. AND I LIKE HER TOO. BUT RARITY. Applejack. Rarity.Applejack.But Rarity. BUT APPLEJACK has done everything for you and Rarity just uses you, OPEN YOUR EYES, YOU IDIOT. Spike was saying all of this in his mind.
"Are you okay there, sugar cube?" Applejack questioned Spike as he was caught day dreaming in his thoughts.
"Oh yeah, sorry AJ I guess I am just a little tired" he lied very knowingly that he got plenty of rest in the morning.
"Ok, I worry about you sometimes,Spikey-pooh."
Wait, did she just called me Spikey-pooh? That's the first time she has ever called me by a nickname besides sugar cube, but then again she does call everypony that. But this time she named me "Spikeypooh" a name no pony has ever called me before. The only pony to ever call me a nickname was Rarity. Does this mean she likes me? Spike questioned himself.
The dragon thought of something to say to Applejack,but he thought he was rushing if he did, but he said it anyway.
"Ah Applejack would you like to go on a date with me?" He cringed at the thought of just saying it.
"Yes, I will love to go on a date with you, how about tomorrow at 5pm."
Spike was amazed on the replay he got.
So Spike went home, happy as a filly on their birthday. I guess it was possible, That Spike is indeed in love with two ponies.
Twilight and Rarity's return
"Ah, that has got to be one of the greatest shows I've been to. I mean the style, the beauty... the fashion, it was all just marvelous if I do say so myself" Rarity said to herself as she was exiting the building and headed to the train station.
As she was walking through Baltimare, she spotted the clock tower which read 3:28 pm.
"OH NO, I'M GOING TO BE LATE FOR MY TRAIN!!! Rarity expressed herself.
She ran as fast as she could to get to her destination, but it was no use. The train just left 10 seconds before she could arrive.
"OH MAN, I guess I will just buy another ticket,I knew I shouldn't have stayed for the after-party"
As she bought her ticket she couldn't help but to stare at a beautiful, perfectly cut diamond necklace.
So she entered the shop hoping to give her little "Spikey-Wikey" that necklace for being patient as she returned.
"I think my little Spikey-Wikey will love the necklace I bought him, This will show him how much I appreciate his company, and for that gorgeous fire ruby he gave to me on his birthday, which I am wearing right now".
As the bus arrived she hopped on board and took a 2 hour train ride to Ponyville.
It is now 4:45, Twilight has just arrived at the castle, just as Spike was about to leave for his date with Applejack.
"And where do you think you'r going, Romeo?" Twilight questioned Spike.
"Oh hey Twilight, I didn't know you will be back by today, anyway I'm going to see Applejack."
"Ok, be careful I want you back home at 7, OK?"
"Yeah,yeah,yeah, don't worry about it Twi, I will be back before dinner time."
"Good, well of you go I wouldn't want to hold you back on your, visit"
"yeah...visit", "Well any who, Bye" Spike said as he raced out the door and walked towards Applejack's house.
As Rarity arrived to Ponyville, she wanted to see if Spike was home so she went to the castle.
She knocked on the door but to her surprise, Twilight opened the door.
"Twilight?!, I didn't think you would've arrived from Canterlot so early."
"Yeah, the meeting was quick and there wasn't anything tremendous going on or anything."
"Oh well, have you seen Spike?"
"Oh yeah, He went to Applejack's."
"Oh, thank you Twilight."
As Rarity was walking to AJ's, she started questioning herself.
"Applejack's, now why on Equestria would Spikey be at Applejack's house?, Maybe he just wanted to help her on the farm or something sweet like that. But then again, isn't it to late to work, nah I bet it's nothing." Rarity started questioning her thoughts.
With gift in hand, she started at AJ's front door, she knocked. But the door was unlocked, so she slowly opened the door. Cringing at the sound the squeaky door was making. What she saw scared her, she couldn't breath. She felt like she had died for a split second and had no reaction on holding on to life any longer.

This "date" escalated pretty quick, from a "date" to a full on make out sesh. Applejack and Spike where on the sofa full on making out, without knowing Rarity saw the whole thing. She was in shock, frozen and twitching her eyes she could't take all that she just saw in.
Out of nowhere, She started ranting.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!"
The couple on the sofa stood up in shock.
"R-RARITY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, I THOUGHT YOU WEREN'T COMING TILL TOMORROW?!" Spike questioned.
"My trip ended early, BUT WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING."
"Sorry Rarity, wait why am I apologizing to you, Why do you care."
"I care a lot for you Spike."
"Really, because the only time you ever needed me was to use me for free labor."
"Spikey no, I care a lot for you, I got you this gift." Rarity handed Spike the necklace.
"Let me guess you got me this (for ALL my hard work)." Spike said sarcastically
"No, I got it for you Spikey-Wikey."
"Oh, This is really generous of you Rarity but, you know." Spike said as he nodded his head to Applejack.
"Wait, are you to... DATING."
" Well yeah, But why do you care you don't love me, or do you?!"
"Spike, I LOVE YOU!!!" Rarity said as she cried.
"Wait, YOU DO?!"
"YES, I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU SPIKE."
"WELL THAN WHY HAVEN'T YOU TOLD ME THAT EARLIER?!"
"YOU WERE YOUNG, AND I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO TELL YOU. YOU WERE THE MOST KIND, CHARMING, AND MOST CARING GENTLE DRAGON I HAVE EVER MET. YOU WERE ALL I WANTED, YOU WERE BETTER THAN ANY GENTEL COLT I HAVE EVER LAYED EYES ON!" Rarity confessed to Spike.
"WOW, Rarity I never knew you loved me this way."
Applejack was shocked at what she just witnessed, She felt like she wasn't even there.
"WAIT JUST A DARN MINUTE RARITY, HE IS MY DRAGON, I LOVE HIM YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE AND YOU BLEW IT." Applejack stated out of the blue.
"OH, YOU WANNA GO, FARM PONY?!" Rarity said as she insulted Applejack.
"I WILL TAKE YOU ON ,MISS PRETTY EVERYTHING HAS TO BE PERFECT, AND I TREAT SPIKE LIKE A SLAVE PONY!!!"
"IT, IS OOOONNNNN!!!" Rarity tackled Applejack.
"Ladies, SSTTTOOOPPP!!!!" Spike tried to break the fight.
As he broke the fight, he realized that he never felt so important in his life. He was so used to chasing after love, not having it tackle you, literally.
"Wait , so you both have feelings for me?" Spike questioned.
"YYYYYYEEEESSSSS!!!" both ponies said in unison.
"HHHHHHHHMMMMM" Spike had a brilliant idea.
He started giggling to himself.
"All there of us will meet tomorrow at Sweet Apple Acres, I have a surprise for both of you."
Spike said as he left the house.
Shortly after, Rarity also left.
"AppleSpike will never me canon" Rarity whispered under her breath, making sure not to let Applejack hear her.
"Sparity is a joke" Applejack said as she walked up stairs to her room.
As Spike arrived to the castle, he jumped to bed, ignoring Twilight as he did.
"How as your date?, Oh he must be really tired. I will ask him again tomorrow." Twilight said as she walked to bed.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. The Invitation
Rarity woke up and headed to the front porch to check her mail. She got an invitation to host a fashion show this weekend in Baltimare. She didn't have any plans this weekend, so she decided to go today. Therefor, she packed her belongings and took a train to Baltimare.
Meanwhile, Twilight was called to a conference meeting in Canterlot, so she packed her things and got ready to make her departure to Canterlot. " You got everything you need, Twilight?" Spike asked. "Yup" replied Twilight. "That's good, well see you next week Twi." said Spike as he gave her a hug and a waved goodbye. Spike was now alone in the castle and he was board so he decided to go to Rarity's house. But to his surprise as he was going to knock on the door, there was a note.
The note stated, "Gone to Baltimare for the weekend, please come back in three days" As Spike read the note he didn't know what to do so he decided to go to Applejack's house to see if she needed any help in the farm or house.
As Spike arrived to his room in the castle, he was wondering what that strange feeling was that a cured a while ago. He didn't know whether to feel happy or anxious about the thoughts that were going through his head that night. He was so tired, so he went to sleep and hoped for a good nights rest.
As the young drake slept, he was having nightmares and couldn't fall asleep. His nightmares were about Rarity, and how she has found a gentalcolt to be her mare-friend without giving Spike a chance in the first place. Spike was so terrified of this thought that he woke up from his slumber and shouted out, "NO RARITY, DON'T GO WITH HIM, I LOVE YOU!!!".
He was lucky nopony heard him say that. He tried to go back to sleep, this time he had another dream. This dream wasn't as bad as the last one, though it was still terrifying never the less .
he dreamed about Applejack for some reason and he didn't know why.
"Oh Spike you were so helpful today, I don't know how I can repay you for this?" Imaginary Applejack said.
"Oh, you don't have to repay me anything AJ, it's just what good friends do" Spike replied.
"Spike, I have to confess something to you, do you promise it won't make you think any less of me?"
"No, of course not you can tell me anything Applejack."
"well, remember when you liked Rarity, but she didn't like you the same way you did?"
"Yeah, I think it had something to do with us being different species or something."
"Well Spike, even though she doesn't like you the same way you did, I do."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I love you Spike, and I will always love you even more than you can ever love Rarity."
Spike woke up from his wired dream of AppleSpike becoming cannon.
Tonight was wired in many different levels for Spike, Is he in love with two ponies?
This can't be happening to Spike he loves Rarity he thought.
But boy was he wrong.
