Prologue: Shades of Shadows

           There are shadows everywhere, and I'm not talking about the one that follows you around. I'm talking shadows as in ponies; ponies who are around us everyday. We just can't see them, or at least we don't notice them. There are good shadows who make sure that world doesn't get over run by evil. There are also bad shadows who stray from the light, and bring destruction wherever they go. There are two different sides; good and evil. Easy to choose which side, right? Actually, no, its not because the two are so well blended in that you can't really tell what their nature is until its too late. There have been a war between the two for a long time. They fought for so long that nopony knows how many battles there been, they just know that the war isn't over. This war has been concealed in the shadows for thousands of years... until now. The war is being brought to the light. Soon all ponies will have to choose a side. Friendships will be ruined, families will be crushed but it will have to be done. Sadly, it won't be an easy task. Like I said; it hard to tell who is who. A skill that is hard to earn, but worth earning. To know the shades of shadows.
