An old prophecy foretold the birth of a pony by the name of liberal. Now that is has come true, the princesses must face the other half of the prophecy. That pony will confront an evil foreign to Equestria, one no other pony can confront.
The princesses cannot prepare for the upbringing but perhaps Liberal's cutiemark will provide with answers.
Time is running out, there are merely three fillies who have the skill to figure out the ponies cutiemark and prepare Equestria for what's about to come next.

It is known that long ago Celestia herself had requested that every filly and colt in Equestria should be presented before her in either physical or photographic form. It was her way of communicating with her subjects, acknowledging them as individuals. However it was rumored that the princess could foresee the ponies future by just looking at them. This way, they say she could keep an eye on unique foals, either because of their great potential for good or bad in the land of Equestria.

Celestia mused the thought, admittedly flattered by her subjects godly view of her authority, but the truth was much less glamorous than ponies claims.

Celestia merely admired her little ponies.She felt that with such an expanding nation she had lost track of her citizens and that somehow this simple task made up for the proper acquaintance she could never have will all her fellow subjects.

At times she did feel a sudden tingle, that somehow the foal spoke to her with sweat glistening eyes that they would become an important pony in their life time. Celestia usually didn't bother with this, after all if the pony was destined for greatness they would surely cross paths in the future, any they usually did.
