The war with Sombra is done! Ponies everywhere were extremely happy! Everypony cheered the day Celestia completely destroyed Sombra with an ancient spell.
Of course, not everypony was so happy go lucky. Many ponies had to face the facts and learn that friends or family had died protecting the grand land of Equestria.

Right now a grand party is going on. It's about a week after the end of the war.
The combatants stand around a big table with all sorts of great food on it. They're all wearing the clothing they wore in combat. Not much small talk surrounds them.
News Ponies try to snap photos or get a word or two from the combatants. The majority of them stand around a small group of combatants and their family. The group's main members are: Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Maud Pie.
Of course the News Ponies are bombing them with all sorts of questions! These three ponies quickly became friends and helped the ponies destroy Sombra!
Next to Pinkie there's a yellow station with a brown mane and tail that are just like Pinkie's (except for the color, of course). He has a name tag that reads: Cheese Sandwich. Two fillies that look just like the two of them stand quietly by them.
Next to Rainbow Dash a light blue Wonderbolt with a dark blue mane and tail stands. He has a name tag that reads: Soarin.
Maud Pie lowers her mouth so that it's right next to Rainbow. "They're probably going to start this thing in about two minutes, we better get going." She say softly, dully, and quietly. Rainbow nods.
Rainbow starts pushing through the crowd to get away. "Scuse us, going through. Here's my autograph, take and go!" The pink maned earth pony and the gray pony follow along side her.
Pinkie Pie waves at her husband and children. "See ya later, love ya!"
They walk up to big stage with curtains of fine silk. Many types of ponies stand on the stage but most of them are leaders or related directly to politics in one way or another.
"Ah-em!" Somepony says from the very back of the stage. A unicorn then pushes herself to the front of the stage. She's a light purple color and she has a purple mane. She obviously seems to feel nervous because she sometimes nervously twitches. She has a name tag that reads: The Princess Celestia' Secretary: Twilight Sparkle. "The war is done. We all know the effects of it are huge but we don't know how personal they are."
She moves her head and then points her horn next to her. It glows and then a microphone appears out of thin air. The crowd oos and ahs. She then levitates it next to her face. "I want some of our combatants to tell their story or a story so that we all know how bad this war really is."
The first pony who speaks fills her story with bucketfuls of humor and so does the next pony. This isn't what the unicorn wants (of course) but she just stands there and listens.
When the second pony is done she hands the mike back to Twilight. "Who want to go next?" She asks tiredly.
Maud Pie raises a hoof. "I'll go."
"Okay." Twilight tosses her the mike and she catches it.
And then Maud Pie starts talking.

Pinkie Pie, Maud Pie, and Rainbow Dash trotted through the heavy snow. It was still snowing even after eight hours. A young light purple unicorn with a yellow mane and tail walked a couple of feet behind them as she desperately tried to keep up. Many guards were behind them.
"Why did the pegasi create such a storm?" The purple mare asked.
"The pegasi didn't create this storm but I know who did, Sombra!" Pinkie Pie said She stood on her hind legs and her eyes were as wide as saucers.
Right on cue Sombra walked forward into the ponies' line of sight. He was followed by his obedient soldiers.
Celestia leapt forward and started fighting them. Eleven of them plus Sombra targeted her but she seem to be doing fine. She fired a couple of spells and in a moment six of Sombra's soldiers were lying on the floor; most likely just knocked out.
Three of Sombra's soldiers swerved around the main part of the fight and targeted them.
Maud Pie swept a foreleg forward through wintry air. Her hoof smacks a helmet off of a soldier and it fell to the ground with a soft thud. She then moved forward for the kill. She swung another leg forward. This time she touched his head with a hoof and pressed with all of her might.
A loud cracking sound then filled the air. The guards eyes widened so that they looked like saucers. Blood oozed from where Maud hit him. A bit of blood trailed down his face and hit the snowy ground. His lower lip moved down slightly and a loud yell escaped from his lungs. His legs twitched wildly. He twisted and fell to the ground.
He yelled again, desperately begging for help but nopony came.
Maud lowered her face so that she could see his pleading eyes. She then pulled something out of a pocket and shoved it into his mouth forcefully.
His eyelids moved forward and hid his green eyes from the rest of the world-for now. He was knocked out.
She trotted over to her friends but they were okay. Two soldiers lay by their feet. Both of them were pegasi.
Maud's heart started pounding in her chest wildly when she saw her sister.
One of Pinkie's forelegs was bent and bruised badly. She could see the white and delicate bones underneath the sea of blood. A pool of blood lay by it. Pinkie shook, she could barely stand. Pinkie's lower lip quivered every so slightly and she wore a grimace. Rainbow was supporting her.
Maud rummaged in her pockets and found another one of the thing she had given the soldier. She tossed it to the blue pegasus and she caught it. "Feed this to her. It'll temporarily help the pain. Get her medical attention now! Go!"
"Maud, I'm surprised you didn't give Rainbow a rock." Pinkie said in meek attempt to make a joke.
Rainbow wanted to fight for longer but for now Pinkie's problem was more urgent. She grabbed the mare and started flying away from the big fight.
A thought suddenly hit Maud: Where's that young unicorn? She immediately saw her response. The unicorn stood right in front of Sombra. They were about seventy yards away. Maud started trotting towards her.
Maud couldn't get to her time. Sombra lowered his horn and it started glowing. Purple acid slowly inched up her body. She twisted and turned but she couldn't get away. There was then a loud and vibrant burst of light. When the light disappeared she was gone.
"Get back!" A general screamed. They did what he asked.
Celestia turned. She doesn't want to go but she also did what he asked
And that was the end of the fight.

"And that was all."
Everyone is teary eyed.
Twilight wipes her tears away. "Thank you. Thank you so much."
"It's just the sad truth. Who's next?"
