Months after Nightmare Moon was sealed in the moon, a family of ponies formed an assassination team, called the Shatterwinds. At their prime, they were renown for executing many at a time, often without prior warning. Some even went so far as to claim that the Shatterwinds had magic powers beyond what any unicorn had.

As the years passed, however, they became sparse to the point many forgot they existed. Ask anyone today, and they'll say they're long gone. If they even recognize the name.

Fluttershy, however, knows better.
