“No.” Simple and plain, but not too tacky. He always knew how to handle business deals. After all, he was the star of Canterlot. Even in a blizzard he knew just how to handle everything before holiday break started.

The jaw of the opposing pony dropped. “F-Filthy Rich, that’s cruel! T-this charity funds e-everything.Those kids need your coats, or they will surely freeze in the coming winter.”

“Let them.”

“You can’t!”

Filthy Rich stomped his hoof down. “I can and I have, now leave me alone!” In an almost mocking tone, he set on his cap and proceeded to slip on a warm jacket and some boots to avoid slipping.

As he stepped outside, though, his booties caught ice and he fell into a pile of snow snout first. Business partner following, he tried to regain his composure, but the damage was done, and ol’ Snowy Wishes burst out in a fit of laughter. “Decided to stop for a quick meal with a little bit of Filth on the side?”

A bright red flushed over Filthy Rich’s face as he stood up. “Umm...no, I was trying to cool down. It’s hot in there, is all.” A small grumble came afterwards. “The boots say they have traction…”

He cantered off almost as instantly as his sentence concluded, trotting by ponies of all types. There was the… pink pony, carrying her yearly batch of sweets to the two most powerful mares in the land, the lovers at the train station, reuniting after so long, and of course there were the newsponies. Filthy Rich didn’t hate the holidays, persay, but did not like the spirit. Why give when you can get?

Still, he took the time to stop at a young mare selling a paper and gave her a bit for it, opening it up to read the headlines.

“Sir, are you on your way to Ponyville?” Filthy Rich looked left and right, finally looking down to stare at the mare he had previously bought from.

Biting his lip and looking around every which way, he finally settled on an answer. “Umm… no, why?”

The young mare jumped up onto a nearby box, leveling eyes with Filthy Rich. “Sir, there’s a massive blizzard ‘bout to hit the town, nopony can go in doesn’t get on that next train.”

“Nopony…” It took a second for Filthy Rich to really understand the gravity of the situation. “DIAMOND TIARA!” She was in Ponyville, and she could very well be out in the snow. What if it hit her and she was trapped?

Looking off to the trains, he saw the smoke rising, the bouncy cars bouncing. That train was going to leave. “Thanks, boy!” he yelled, rushing off in hopes that that train wouldn’t leave without him on it.

The ticket salesman seemed adamant, though. “Sorry, sir, the train is going to leave. You cannot get any more until the snow melts.”

Filthy Rich groaned. “Umm… no, I am going to get on that train.” He wasn’t just going to leave his daughter behind, now that he had just learned of the storm. It took a split second for him to make his decision; without much thinking, he backed up, running and jumping over the turnstiles after the train, which had just started to pull out of the station.

“STOP THAT TRAIN!”
