Chapters The doctor is busy away reading his book and starts to hear the grating noise of the Tardis. He can only imagine what the ponies in Equestria are doing at that moment in time.
Sure enough, ponies around town stopped as they all heard a faint grating noise. They've never heard anything like it. It started to grow louder and eventually, Twilight and Spike came out the library to see what was making that noise. Soon enough, many ponies and Spike could start to see a blue box appearing right in front of their eyes! The wind was picking up as dust was blown about and the grating noise was very loud at this stage! Eventually, the noise came to a stop and the ponies were now surrounding a mystical blue box that had just appeared out of nowhere!
One of the double doors opened and out came the Doctor, completely oblivious to the huge gathering on ponies surrounding him. He turns around and is met with a thousand pair of eyes staring at him. He decided to introduce himself, so with a quick breath he spoke "Greetings, I am Dr Whooves! Although I prefer to be called simply, The Doctor. I come in peace!" None of the ponies said anything, they merely stared at him, then to the Tardis and then back at him.
He was about to explain what the Tardis was when suddenly Twilight stepped forward and said "Uh...hi! How-how.....how did you do that? With your blue box I mean." The Doctor smiled, "Well, this 'blue box' as you call it is actually my time machine! It's called the Tardis. That stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. I use it to go anywhere and anywhen!" The crowd all starting talking to eachother and one yelled out "A time machine? Prove i-". The ponie’s sentence was cut off as another Tardis started to materialise next to the Doctor. Out the second Tardis stepped another Doctor Whooves! He said "Proved!" in a victorious manner. At that the Doctor from the first Tardis stepped in and dematerialised in his Tardis.
"Wha.....what just happened?" Asked a very confused Twlight. "Well," the doctor started, "to put it in as simple terms as I can, the doctor that just dematerialised in his Tardis went back in time which is exactly what I did coming to this time. So when he dematerialised that was me materialising here. But he hadn't left yet so there was two of us. Although the laws of time don't normally allow us to have 2 of us in one place, doing a stunt like that doesn't really cause any problems." The doctor finished of that sentence without even taking a breath. Twilight, along with Spike and the other ponies who were all giving confused looks on their faces, was trying to calculate in her own mind what the Doctor had just said. She eventually made out some bits but not fully. She was about to ask how the Tardis works when she, and now the rest of the crowd, had noticed he was gone! "If you ask me, he's actually pretty cool!" said a very amazed Spike. As everypony was trying to make out the Doctor's explanation, none of them noticed the very Doctor walking over a bridge right to a very certain barn.
Applejack wasn't aware of any of these events that had just occurred as she was busy bucking trees to get the apples to fall. She had another half the farm to do and no time to lose! While she was busy bucking along came the Doctor, who was looking around at all the apple trees spread far and wide over the large farm area. Applejack was about to buck another tree until she noticed the Doctor wondering around aimlessly. "Maby ah should introduce mahself" she thought as she walked over to greet him.
The Doctor was looking at a pile of haystacks when Applejack spoke out "Howdy, names Applejack!" The Doctor jumped a little and turn around to be met with Applejack. "Oh uh, hi! My name is the Doctor!" announced the Doctor. Applejack gave him a confused look saying "Doctor of what now?" "Well, basically doctor of everything! Except medicine, although I have done some medical things in Galaxy 45...but that’s my name! Simply the Doctor. Sorry if I'm intruding or anything, I literally just parked the Tardis outside of this large tree which also appears to be a house can you imagine that well of cause you would seeming as you live here and all. I must be rambling on though but I must say that I think I should relocate the Tardis to somewhere else as I do fear that it may be getting in the way of something or other." The Doctor introduced, explain and rambled all this in one breath without thinking much! All Applejack could make out was that he was a doctor of everything, he's just called the Doctor and that he has a thingy called a Tardis.
Applejack then realised he thought he was intruding. "Eh, oh! Sorry, nah you’re not intruding or anything pardner! See I work on this here farm, care for a tour?" asked Applejack seeming as she knew that the Doctor was new around here and didn't really know much about anywhere. She thought she might be feeling sorry for him as all she could see before she met him was that he wanders around aimlessly. "I'd be delighted! Thank you." said the Doctor, breaking Applejack's train of thought. Without knowing how she suddenly found the Doctor was wearing glasses and had a notepad in a little slot on a strap around his neck. She blinked, dazed, at the sudden change of clothing. "Are you alright?" asked the doctor with a small smile as if nothing had happened. "Uh, I er, sure! Lets git this tour started!" With that, they both went off into the farm and Applejack began the tour.

After a few hours of Applejack going on about how the apples are grown, how many trees there are and what she does to collect them, the Doctor was still following on writing down a lot of notes! Applejack finally finished her tour and noticed the Doctor wasn't worn out at all and was writing notes down as if he just started! "Well, you sure have a lot of energy! Most ponies here normally git bored or tired halfway through the tour!" said Applejack who was still amazed that the Doctor wasn't even breaking a sweat! "Oh well, I guess it all this galloping I do! What I do always seems to involve a lot of galloping!" said the Doctor with another smile on his face. Applejack then invited the Doctor into the barn for a glass of apple juice. Sadly, as they both left towards the barn, not one of them noticed something strange about the sky... Infact, they didn't even notice one strange thing about one tree in the farm...the tree having a very strange shape to it for a normal tree...
Applejack lead the Doctor in the barn and started to pour drinks for them both as the Doctor took a stool and sat himself down to the table. Applejack placed the glasses of apple juice on the table and then sat herself down, bursting with questions. "You must be new here right? Ah've never seen you before." she asked with a small interested smile. "Oh, yeah! Well I’m all over the place really. Adventuring, hopping from one place to the other." replied the Doctor who started to feel excited as he finally had someone to ask him questions.
Applejack started imagining what it would be like to constantly move to different locations over and over again. "Do you ever go to meet your family between your travels?" said Applejack, not knowing of the truth of the Doctors past. The Doctor looked, then his hearts started to sink. Applejack took notice of this and asked "What’s wrong sugar cube? Ya'll look mighty depressed." "Oh, well. It's a long story..." he replied with a slightly sad tone in his voice. "Well, ah've got all day! I wouldn't mind hearing a little story." exclaimed Applejack with a hint of excitement in her voice.
"Well, I'm not sure where to begin, but I guess I’ll start with basic info of who I really am. I come from the planet Gallopfrey, I'm a Timelord, and I had to put a end to the greatest war in all time and space. The Time War!" Applejack stared blankly at him. "So, your telling me you come from another planet and fought in a large war called a Time war?" she asked with allot of confusion. "Speaking of which, what is the Time war?" she added. The Doctor who knew he was going to have to start from the very begging then started off what would turn out to be a very long conversation. "Well, this other planet called Skaro had 2 different races of ponies, the Thals and Kaleds. I'll give you a brief history on them." And so the Doctor went on about the Daleks and how he was sent to stop their creation and how they waged war on the Timelords. "...so I had to end it. The war was from then on time-locked, which means nothing can get back to it. Not through any means of time travel or space travel. So in the end, they all lost. I'm not just a Timelord....I’m the very last of the Timelords." The Doctor finished off his speech and a single tear rolled down his cheek as he remember all the terrible screams and the fires that raged and burnt.
Applejack didn't know what to say. She sat there looking at the Doctor, and she felt sorry for him. "Land snakes partner! You've been through allot, ah'm sorry to hear bout that...." The Doctor gave her a reassuring smile. He knew all too well that Applejack was always honest. "But Doctor, ah do have one more question, how did you get here if your from a different planet?" "Oh, I used the Tardis. The technology of it is far too advanced to tell anypony! But, I’ll give you a run down. It can travel anywhere in time and space. See, it'll dematerialise somewhere and somewhen, and rematerialise in a completely different location or time!" The Doctor was actually starting to feel a little tired from the long speech and explanations. "Tell you what, ah'll pour us another glass of apple juice! You look awfully tired." said Applejack who took notice of the Doctor's tiredness. "Thank you" replied the Doctor.
Soon enough they both started having normal conversation and the sun was still blazing over the barn and apple farm. Unfortunately, a very strange tree in the middle of the farm was still unnoticed by anypony! Infact...another tree just like the next one had appeared next to it! But as well as odd looking trees....the pegasus ponies were about to get a huge shock...for although ponies look up at the sky often, none of them have noticed that the clouds are looking a little strange...
It had been a few days since the cloud incident. The Doctor had been taken in by Twilight as she wouldn't believe that the doctor could sleep in such a small box. "If only she knew..." the Doctor thought as he was dragged in. A storm was starting up outside as allot of the clouds were now all dark and gloomy, including the unique one! Lightning was zapping down and all the ponies were inside. Rain was pouring down with puddles forming everywhere! The only reason the ponies are all inside is due to the weather ponies not being the cause of it! It appears there was a disturbance in the force....
"So, you’re telling me that you have special ponies that create the storms themselves?" asked the Doctor who was having this explained to by Twilight. "Yes, but for some reason this storm has appeared out of nowhere!" "Hmmmm, I was hoping for a nice visit here as well..." the doctor thought to himself gloomily. He was hoping for more adventure during his stay but he was stuck in a library all day due to a freak weather storm!
"Hey Twilight?" the Doctor suddenly asked, breaking the silence. "Yeah?" she replied, not looking up from the book she was reading. Something to do with weather and how the pegasus ponies do it. "Is it normal for strange looking hurricanes to appear from the middle of a bunch of clouds surrounding a weird looking one?" asked the Doctor who was looking out the window at a large hurricane that was starting to reach down from the middle of the block cloud! "What?" Twilight yelped as she immediately leapt of the couch and to the window. "Oh my! I must warn Rainbow Dash. This isn't good at all!"
While they were busy talking, the hurricane forming had reached the ground and was causing the ground to shake. The library started shaking also and with Spike away in Canterlot, that left only Twilight and the Doctor to experience it. The sky was starting to turn dark with a slight red tinge to it. "Hmmmm, dark sky with a hint of red. I wouldn't say that the space clowns were popping in for a show...that normally causes the sky to turn bright yellow!" said the Doctor with a sort of explaining type of voice. "Never mind your space clowns! The sky is dark red!!!" yelled Twilight who was panicking. The ground then started to shake violently and ponies were now running out of their homes while lightning was still striking everywhere. "I really gotta find Rainbow Dash! I'm sure she can do something." and with that, Twilight started to walk out and noticed the Doctor standing there smiling softly. "What?" she asked with a curious look. The Doctor replied "I don't know why...but the more dangerous it is, the more I love it!" with a sly tone in his voice.
"Well, off we go then!" she said as he burst out into the rain and lightning, with the ground still shaking violently under him. "Great, now to find Rainbow Dash." said Twilight who had followed the Doctor outside. "She lives up in Cloudsdale, but we'll never get up there!" she whined. The Doctor merely smiled and walked up to the Tardis that was still parked in the same spot it had landed. "Tell you what, lets go in here!" he said as he turned round to look at Twilight. She walked up to him and looked at the blue box. "What you mean in that thing?" she asked, obviously puzzled. "Yes in that thing!" replied the Doctor with patronising tones but with a large grin on his face, he opened the doors and walked in. "But it's tiny! What are we meant to be doing in this sma-" Twilight was cut off from her sentence by walking inside.
The Doctor was busy away flicking at switches an pressing buttons at the shiny white console. Twilight was now staring around at the bright chrome walls with neon blue glowing roundels on them. The time rotor also a neon blue reached from the console all the way up to the ceiling! "But...it-it-it's bigger on-" "the inside!" the Doctor finished her sentence for her as she started in awe. "By the way, where is Cloudsdale?" said the Doctor as if this was completely normal. Which it was! Twilight merely mumbled "b-b-but it's not scientifically possible!" said stuttered while still staring at the console and all around the walls. "Oh yes it is!" said the Doctor in a 'matter of fact' voice. "See, the inside and outside are dimensionally transcendental." "What does that mean?" said Twilight who was still shocked and had now completely forgotten about the chaos outside of the closed doors. "Well, if you want to put it simply..." started the Doctor with another childish grin, "It's bigger on the inside than the outside!" He then walked back up to the console and asked a very shocked Twilight, "Once again, where is Cloudsdale? Apart from being in the sky, do you know the space time co-ordinates?" "Uh....I...no." said Twilight who was starting to get a hold of herself. "Well then, take a seat" as he pointed to a row of white chairs with blue cushions. "This is going to be fun! It's not often I get to fly the Tardis manually through a raging storm cause by a time spacial dimension portal!" he yelled as he yanked down a lever on the console causing the familiar grating sound, but instead of disappearing, it rose of the ground and took off into the heat of the storm! Those outside galloping about stopped for a short amount of time to stare at the Tardis that just shot off into the clouds. It was going to bumpy ride!
The inside of the Tardis was shaking violently, matching with all the stones and the turbulence of the hurricane, mixed with twisting air currents. The Tardis was taking quite a beating, but even so nothing is slowing it down! Twilight is shaking like jelly in the seat she had taken, staring at the Doctor who was practically dancing around the console flicking levers and pressing buttons with a huge grin on his face. He's bursting with excitement!
"D-D-D-DOCTOR!!!!" Twilight was screaming at the Doctor with a very freaked out look on her face. "Oh, sorry. Here you go!" he replied, assuming he knew what she wanted. He pressed a large green button and a wall panel flipped over revealing a scanner screen. It was showing the views outside, all that was seen was clouds rushing past with dust and derbies flying past with them. Twilight was now looking at the screen and started to feel a bit sick inside. "There you go! Sorry, I forgot you were sat there doing nothing, so now you get to see the trip from outside the Tardis!" said the Doctor with another large grin on his face. "C-C-C-CAN'T YOU S-S-SLOW D-D-D-DOWN!!!!" Twilight screamed at the Doctor. "Well, you want to get to Cloudsdale and I’m not risking dematerialisation in this time storm. But you have given me a idea." and with that the Doctor pulled two levers downwards and the interior started shaking worse than before! "There! I've increased the speed to a quarter of the way so you don't have to experience this for much longer!" said the Doctor who was assuming this would help. Twilight only looked at the scanner which was now only showing a blur of colours.
"YOU.....ARE....CRAZY !!!!" Twilight screamed. "Well, that’s one word for it." the Doctor thoughtfully replied. The outside of the Tardis was now going so fast there was fire forming around it! The heat was rising and some large rocks that were being tossed about were shattered as the Tardis slammed through it as if there was nothing there. Some pegasus who managed to fly in the storm without being dragged around all gasped and fled as they saw the flaming Tardis fly through the storm. At first they thought it was just picked up by the storm, but eventually figured it was going too fast so they decided to follow it. Twilight was starting to realise they'd be at Cloudsdale any second and knew the Tardis was going way to fast. "Doctor! If we don't slow down soon, we're going to crash right into Cloudsdale!" said Twilight who seemed to have calmed down a little. "Really?" asked the Doctor. He flicked a few buttons and levers and pulled up the two he pulled down earlier. The Tardis was starting to slow down, but Cloudsdale was now in view of the scanner, and the Tardis was still going so fast with fire around it!
Twilight was unaware of this as she was too busy looking at the console which was starting to spark everywhere. The Doctor took note of the speed and found that they wouldn't be slowing down too much before they crashed into Cloudsdale! "Uh, Twilight" he said with a worried tone. Twilight noticed this immediately and started to worry too. "Y-y-yeah?" she stuttered with wide eyes. "Good news and bad news. The good news is, we'll be arriving at Cloudsdale instantly!" Twilight let out a sigh of relief, knowing the crazy trip would be over soon. "The bad news....we'll be crashing into Cloudsdale!" Twilight's eyes then went into pinprick size. She then took note of the scanner and started to scream. The scanner was showing Cloudsdale get larger on the screen as the Tardis drew closer and closer and the screen had a fiery view due to all the fire around the Tardis which is still going very fast and slowing down at a very slow pace.
"DOCTOR DO SOMETHIIING!!!!!" yelled Twilight at the top of her lungs, as she shot herself off the chair and grabbed her head and ducked onto the floor. The Doctor looked at the scanner screen and back to Twilight with a poker face. The scanner was showing Cloudsdale dead ahead. Twilight looked up and screamed again! "DOCTOR!!!" she was screaming for her life now. The Doctor then sighed and grabbed hold of a rail and looked back and forth between Twilight, who was cowering on the floor, and the scanner. "DOCTOR DO SOMETHIIIIIIING!!!!!! " Twilight screamed as loud as she could over the rumbling noise of outside and the grating noise of the Tardis itself which was groaning and straining. The Doctor then took his spare hoof and pressed a large blue button. As soon as he did the Tardis interior stopped shaking and rumbling. It was now as if the Tardis wasn't moving at all! But on the outside it was still going just as fast.
Twilight looked up, she then stood up. Then she dropped back onto the seat and breathed a huge sigh of relief. "Well, that was fun wasn't it?" said the Doctor with a huge grin on his face. Twilight looked at him and asked with a defeated tone, "Was that really necessary?" "Well, not really. But it's just boring now!" said the Doctor who wasn't so excited anymore. But his grin then widened as he said "Now we just gotta wait till we land!" as he pointed to the scanner showing Twilight the fact that the Tardis was still moving. Twilight's eyes went wide again. "OH MY GOD DOCTOR STOP!!!" shrieked Twilight who started to panic again. "Well, even before hand I couldn't, I don't even know how, if I can that is...I threw the manual into a supernova..." "YOU THREW THE MANUAL FOR THE TARDIS INTO A SUPERNOVA? WHY??!? " shrieked Twilight again who was evidently running out of breath from shouting and screaming so much. "Well, I disagreed with it!" said the Doctor like a child admitting to stealing a cookie.
The Tardis finally hit down on the clouds of Cloudsdale and caused the interior to start shaking violently again. The Doctor fell over with the sudden jolt and Twilight fell off her seat. The Tardis was slowing down rapidly now and the fire had gone but all the pegasus ponies, who were outside as the storm didn't affect them as badly, all jumped and screamed at the large blue box sliding across the cloud. At last the Tardis came to a stop right outside Rainbow Dash’s house! Although it wasn't coincidence as the Doctor had set the Tardis to do so by using galactic codes and destinations of some sort. As the Tardis sat there it was giving off allot of smoke and the blue colour was all charred from the fire. Rainbow Dash took notice of the Tardis and stepped outside, just as the Doctor and Twilight did. A large crowd of pegasus ponies had formed around the Doctor, Twilight and the Tardis as they all stared. The Doctor knew he had allot of explaining to do...
The Sky is NOT the Limit!
Twilight walked up to Rainbow Dash and started to explain what had just happened. Rainbow Dash was too busy looking at the Doctor, who was running all around the blackened and smoking Tardis, to take notice of what she said to her.
The Doctor then looked around briefly taking in his surroundings. "Oh my! I see why it's called Cloudsdale! It's literally made on clouds! I'm walking on a cloud! How is this even possible? I wonder if you could eat this stuff, but it's just water! Or is it? My word this IS exciting!" the Doctor rambled to nopony in particular but stopped as he took notice of the crowd and Rainbow Dash all staring at him.
The Doctor cleared his throat and announced "Hello, I'm the Doctor! Sorry about the er....dramatic entrance but we had to get here quite quickly." he spoke as he pointed to Twilight as if to say what he meant by 'we'. "Anyway, we came here to find somepony named Rainbow Dash!" He looked around and saw the cyan pegasus with a rainbow name and tail. He then rambled to her "Your Rainbow Dash I assume? I must say very stylish hair, not that I do much with styles or fashion, but remarkable! It appears natural too! I've never seen anything like it, you really do live up to your name, and judging by your second half of your name I assume you’re probably the fastest pegasus here! That’s good as this may involve alot of running, or in your case flying!"
Rainbow Dash just stood there with Twilight next to her making a 'o' shape with her mouth. "How does he know that? Is he that clever? How did a blue box just crash here?" she thought to herself. Twilight just leaned over to her and whispered "Just nod your head and pretend you know what he means." So Rainbow Dash just nodded with a small, nervous smile. "Good! Well, off we go! Can't say where we'll be off to yet cause it'll be completely new!" said the Doctor with a large grin on his face. Twilight asked "You mean we're going for another flight in the Tardis?" Rainbow Dash suddenly looked at Twilight with a confused look. "What’s a Tardis?" she asked. "THIS....” said the Doctor with another grin "is the Tardis! It travels anywhere in time and space! And it flies as you saw. It does reach dangerously high speeds that it catches fire, as it did as we flew here." Rainbow Dash once again looked at the Doctor.
"A blue box that can fly and travels through time and space. Yeah right! But it did crash land here by flying....and he's a Earth pony! And Twilight came along too!" Rainbow Dash was thinking all this in her head as Twilight spoke to her "C'mon, let’s get going." "What, in that thing?" asked Rainbow Dash. The Doctor got a sense of Déjà Vu and so replied "YES! in THAT thing!" with a large smile on his face. Twilight just rolled her eyes as she remembered her asking the same question and getting the same answer. The Doctor turned to the crowd who had been standing there in silence just staring at him. "Well, we're off, sorry about the mess, but we really gotta...." the Doctor looked at Rainbow Dash, then back to the crowd with a large grin as if holding back a chuckle. "dash !" he said. Twilight just facehoofed at the bad pun. The Doctor then proceeded in the Tardis followed by Rainbow Dash then Twilight.
"WOA! How the-? What the-? But it's....IT'S......" yelled Rainbow Dash with wide eyes. Twilight merely chuckled and walked up to her as she stuttered and gawked at the large interior. The Doctor once again dancing around the console like a madpony. Twlight put a hoof on Rainbow Dash's shoulder. "Trust me, you'll get used to it." She then led Rainbow Dash to the same row of chairs that Twilight had been hanging on for her life a few minutes ago. She knew what was going to happen so as she left Rainbow Dash, whom was staring at the large console and all around the room with the glowing roundels, she walked up to the Doctor and whispered to him "Don't suppose there’s a more secure place for us to sit in?" The Doctor pondered and said "Well, I guess you could strap yourself to the seat if you really wanted to. Here!" and he handed her 2 black straps. "Just tie this around you and your friend over there and we'll be ready to go!" he said with a smile. As Rainbow let Twilight strap her in and once Twilight had strapped herself in, the Doctor pulled the lever, causing the Tardis to make the grating noise that Twilight was used to and the crowd outside started to fly off as the Tardis rose up again, and shot up into the sky back to the storm! The sky is never the limit when you have a Tardis!
You can't get 20% cooler than this!
The inside of the Tardis was shaking furiously as it did on the way to Cloudsdale. Sparks were flying out of the console and fire was building up around the Tardis as it went into crazy speeds! Although Twilight had experienced this before, she still sat there with a slightly frightened look on her face. Next to her, Rainbow Dash had stopped looking around at the console and was now staring at the blur of colours that were covered by a transparent sheet of fire on the scanner screen from the fire that had formed around the Tardis once again. She had never looked so terrified in all her life! She knew for a fact that the Tardis was going at least 20% faster than a sonic rainboom!
Twilight looked over to the quivering Rainbow Dash and put a reassuring hoof on her shoulder.
Rainbow Dash had finally gotten the image of the scanner out of her head and could manage to say something without being blocked by pure terror. "So, w-w-where are we g-g-g-going?" she said weakly. The Doctor merely put a hoof up to a small black sphere that had pulsing purple lines all around it and looked like it was spinning. It also appeared to be in the centre of the time storm.
"Well, you know that strange cloud?" asked the Doctor. Twilight and RD both nodded their heads. "Well, that wasn't from a faulty cloud making machine thingy. It actually came through the portal. Well, some of it. See, I literally meant, physics from that dimension will flow through the portal and into this dimension. So that little bit of cloud that came through the portal had taken a normal cloud here, and turned it into that funny looking cloud we all saw."
The Doctor then pushed the two levers down some more and everything had stopped shaking so much. Infact, it was as if all pressure had just gone. All 3 ponies looked at the scanner screen to see nothing by lines of colours vibrating at unbelievable speeds, all being peppered with random white dots. The white dots were due to the Tardis going so fast it was starting to literally, cut a hole into the sky. Imagine scraping a cheese grater down a piece of paper. But these little shreads in the sky would heal themselves up almost instantly as the Tardis flew past them. At last they entered the Portal and as soon as they hit it......
Everything just got 20% cooler!
The Tardis crew were all shaken up. After the impact in the portal, time seemed to stretch and slow down. The Tardis console started shooting out flames and sparks causing the Doctor to pass out. Twilight and RD were both still sat in their seats but Twilight was busy screaming to the Doctor who was already on the floor unconscious. The Tardis wasn't shaking at all now. Infact, not a sound was heard. The lights were all off apart from emergency backup lights that were very dim themselves. After a while of sitting, Twilight and RD both got up a trotted over to the Doctor. He was moving slightly and mumbled something that not Twilight or RD heard. Suddenly, the Doctor's eyes burst open, he looked towards the frazzled console and dragged himself up. He took a last look towards the console and finally turned to the two mares.
The trio made their way outside and stopped to take in the extraordinary look of the new dimension. The ground they were standing on was what looked to be red rock. In the distance they could see what appeared to be brown sand with screaming faces etched into it. Looking down they noticed that they were all on a ledge and that the 'seas' were made up of lava. Lava also poured from the ceiling and dripped off edges of the red rock. Across the land were random patches of fire that seemed to be burning indefinitely. The heat was furious and caused the trio to sweat.
The Doctor then took the time to look at the ground, he then proceeded to hit it lightly with his hoof.CAN ANYPONY SWIM IN LAVA?? " yelled the Doctor.
Welcome to Ponyville: Under Block-struction
It had been 5 days since the Tardis crew had left Equestria. Due to the time portal the Tardis was shaken about out of time in the new dimension. The residents of Ponyville hadn't noticed anything different about the land as of yet. Spike was sleeping round and helping out Rarity due to Twilight hitching a ride with the Doctor along with the weather pegasus of Cloudsdale having to work alot harder and hire more pegasus since Rainbow Dash was gone also.
Pinkie Pie seemed to be developing a new twitch for her Pinkie Sense, but nobody, not even her, knew what it meant. She would bat her eyelids, her mane would bounce, her lakes would shake, her tail would spin and her back hoofs would buck. So Pinkie was busy trying to decipher what her new mystery sense meant.
Down at the Carousel Boutique, Spike was helping out with Rarity by posing as a small model for her. When Rarity was designing and didn't need any help from Spike, he'd go off to play with the CMC. Spike would be helping them think of ways to get their cutie marks. Although he got to stay with his favourite mare, he was still concerned about Twilight and would wonder where she was.
Fluttershy was still tending to the animals and making bird choirs. Recently, she has somehow managed to have the birds sing a new song entirely. The birds had the song perfected on their first try as if they'd known it forever! It was nothing that she'd ever heard before! She praised the birds and gave them alot of treats for the amazing performance! The woodpecker did a good job of making a drum beat!
Applejack was busy down by the farm bucking trees as usual and collecting the apples. Big Mac was pulling carts with hay bales on them while Granny Smith was making various treats with the apples. Applejack was aware of the time storm as was everypony else. She was informed about Twilight and Rainbow Dash's disappearance. She would've asked how, but everypony saw how it had happened.
--Flashback--
Everypony had gathered around the area in Ponyville that had the time portal in full view. It was big and very intimidating. Everypony was just staring at the portal until one pointed up at the flying blue box on fire dashing right towards it. All of them knew that it was the Doctor with Twilight and the Pegasus knew Rainbow Dash was with them. They all saw the Tardis collide into the portal and disappear. But it wasn't a simple 'poof and gone', as soon as the Tardis made contact there was a loud bang along with a even louder sound of the Tardis, but very sick sound as if it was breaking down! Then....silence!
--End Flashback--
Since then, the portal has become very small and harmless. Merely sitting in the sky like a ink stain on a cyan shirt. The clouds surrounding it had all gone and cleared away by the weather Pegasus and no more tornadoes or earthquakes had occured. Princess Celestia had visited Ponyville to see whats been going on. Rairty, Spike, Pinkie and Applejack all stepped forward to tell about the Doctor and his Tardis (along with other residents of Ponyville speaking of the Tardis) and how Twilight and Rainbow Dash went along with him. She was told about the time portal and what it did. The residents of Ponyville then all started telling the princess about how the Tardis flew into the portal and events that followed. The Princess then revealed that she too heard the noise of the Tardis's sick like sound and decided to wait for a few days to see if it would appear again.
But....where was Fluttershy during this? Surely she would've gone over to see the Princess and tell her about the tergic events that had occured? Alas no, for she has no idea whats been going on! Nopony as informed her about the disappearence of Twilight and Rainbow Dash or about the Doctor and the Tardis! She was in the blue, but while she doesn't know about the portal...she is experiencing a few strange things going on. Such as the birds learning a new song suddenly and the fact that she is the first to discover a strange flower...whle it's a normal yellow flower.....but this flower is very blocky.....one would normally say that these events were out of this world !
So Ponyville has been getting some slight effects being place into it, but what has become of the Tardis? Will the Doctor along with the help of Twilight and Rainbow Dash manage to put a end to the Tardis's little 'joy ride' in lava? If they do, how will they get back? WHAT will happen? WHEN shall we know? WHY am I asking YOU all these questions? All will be revealed....but, this is only the beggining....the main plot hasn't even been introduced yet! Infact, a new main charecter still awaits us! Who? Well.....that would be telling now wouldn't it? ;)

Loss of all his things, attack from the jellyfish stings
"DOCTOR!" Twilight and RD both screamed while holding the doctor back from the lava stream. Lava cubes were hopping out of it at random and making a bubbly lava noise. The Tardis was still being carried away from the lava but was too far out to reach. The Doctor tried to resist against the hold or Twilight and RD.
"NO! I NEED THE TARDIS! WITHOUT IT WE CAN'T GET BACK! EVERYTHING IS IN THERE!" The Doctor yelled at the two mares holding him.
*Relevant music for the next 2 paragraphs*

It had been 10 mins since the Tardis had fallen over the lavafall. The Doctor walked along and over the hills of the red rock followed by Twilight and RD. Both of whom were concerned for the Doctor. The Doctor on the other hand was shedding silent tears with his head hanging low. He walked onto a high mountain and stood there. He lifted his head up looking at the red sky that covered the land. More memories of all the previous desktop themes for the Tardis, the first time he saw the Tardis, the day he stole her.....and how much she had been through.....
Twilight and RD both stood a few hoofs away from him. "He must've had a long history with the Tardis of his." whispered RD
As the all walked on, the cries could be heard more and more, some of them louder.GET DOWN! " he yelled at the mares.
Once they got onto the land, there it was. A huge white block with tentacles at it's base making crying sounds. It was as RD put it, a flying blocky jellyfish. So far, the Doctor couldn't see any hostile features to it.
Twilight used her magic to launch the fireball back and strike the creature. The creature glowed red as it was hit and fell on its side in the air into the lava. RD couldn't use here wings as the intense heat would frazzle her delicate feathers and her wings may be broken off from a fireball. But Twilight soon became exhausted from launching fireballs back and making shields. That was when time seemed to slow down, as 5 fireballs made their way toward Twilight and RD both of whom couldn't get away. The Doctor was lying against a wall of the red rock badly injured and singed, unable to move. He watch as the fireballs came closer until he saw a bright flash of purple light that seemed to be surrounded in a black material. Once the light vanished all 5 fireballs struck the source of the light and took out the purple glow leaving a black frame. The Doctor's vision started to turn black but out of the corner of his eye, he could see what appeared to be a pony, but standing upright. That was when the Doctor was overcome by darkness and blacked out.
A New Friend and a Loss without End
The Doctor's vision started to return to him. All he could see was red blurs and a figure to the right. His vision cleared up but he was still fairly weak. He could see that he was in a large red room with 3 block high glass surrounding them. Above he could see what appeared to be glowing blocks hanging from a wooden fencepost. He could barely make out some random things in a corner but he then turned to see the figure working at a table.
The figure was a dark brown pony with a black mohawk for a mane. Unlike a normal pony though, he was standing on his hind legs with no stumbling! Also, he was wearing a black and gold suit and golden rings with a green gem in each on his upper arms. As a final touch, he wore sunglasses so the Doctor couldn't see his eye colour. He appeared to be brewing something in what appeared to be a brewing stand. He finally turned to see the Doctor awake and smiled gently. As he walked over to the Doctor he held a glass bottle with a potion inside.
"Who-who are you?" asked the Doctor with little breath left in him.
The Doctor then decided it was better than nothing so he downed the entire bottle. It was sweet, a hint of apple but something disgusting creeped into the taste."Must be the netherwart" the Doctor thought to himself. After 10 mins the Doctor finally found the energy to stand up and found his body no longer burnt or cut.
Flashback Scene
Mr T's Narration
About 20 years ago, in Ponyville I was with a group of scientists who were working on inter dimensional transportation. While I reluctantly helped, I was always warning them that the whole project could cause devastating consequences should it go wrong. They of course denied these worries and rambled on about how they can revolutionise the world! I eventually stopped giving advice and spoke to Princess Celestia about it. She's a very close friend of mine. Back then, I was still on all 4 hoofs with no clothing apart from my scientist’s uniform. I was also much smaller back in that day!
After speaking to Celestia she came to a decision that she will attend the ceremony of showing it off to the public. Now, I had the most knowledge about the whole project and so I was picked to be the test subject. I tried to persuade them otherwise...but they wouldn't listen. They were so frantic over changing the world that they wouldn't come to reason with any warning! Reluctantly, I stepped inside the machine and the glass door closed in front of me.
It was then where I knew I couldn't turn back. The chief scientist then announced what should happen and pulled down the lever with confidence. But instead of the gentle hum of the generator staring to power up, lightning of all colours shot out of the top of the chamber I was in, it was at that point I was banging at the glass yelling out "What did I say? WHAT DID I SAY??? I also knew that I would either be killed or shot away somewhere. And that’s exactly what happened, I saw the machine start to flame and random energy bolts shooting out everywhere. Then a flash of white light enveloped me as the machine exploded.
That’s when I woke up in the strange land. Over the years I began to adapt to walk on my hind legs. I then acquired some cloth from random blocks of it scattered about and made myself this suit. After more years I had become wary of the creatures in this dimension....or sub dimension as I call it nowadays. I'll explain more on that later though. I knew of the Ghasts, which were what attacked you and, what I believed to have seen, your 2 friends. There’s also the Zombie Pigmen, they won’t harm you or anyone....as long as you don't hurt them first, and they carry golden swords. There’s the magma cube which bounces but separates in slices revealing a core inside as it does so. I'd advise you get away from them though. While they are slow, if you kill a large one, it'll split into 4 more and so on until all the smallest have died. It's related to the Slime, of which lives in another sub dimension. Next up are the Blazes, they're floating heads with hot sticks flying around them. They charge up and when they're primed, they have a fire start around them. That’s bad as they're ready to rapid fire 3 fireballs at their target. They also burn and hurt to touch.
After a while, I managed to find a dead body of a block man of sorts and found gold and various things around by the body. I then forged myself these arm bands with the glowing green gem being from what was with me as I travelled here. I have since been living in this world...but also hopping back and forth between sub dimensions. Using this I've brought things here and made a few things. I have a friend named Steve. He's another block man. Found him after my 5th year of being here. I haven't seen him for 10 years since he went missing one day. I'll leave out those details but as for the things I've created, well, we'll get to that later on as well!

Normal Narration
After Terrance had finished his flashback and info to the doctor, the Doctor took full understanding. "I just hope Twilight and Rainbow Dash are okay..." said the Doctor with a worried tone. Mr T looked at the Doctor and started another long explanation of sorts.
"Well, I'm the last of the Timelords, I have this Tardis.....had...." the doctor paused for a few seconds before continuing on "Anyway, I visited Ponyville in Equestria but only after a few days of being there, a time storm broke out as I was with Twilight. Then we went to gather Rainbow Dash then we all flew into the centre time storm that turned out to be a portal! Then we crashed here but the Tardis got picked up in a lava stream and........" the Doctor paused again stifling tears. "So, after THAT....we walked along going to nowhere in particular when we got attacked by those ghasts as you call them. As I was blacking out, I saw a purple light in that black frame of...obsidian you called it I believe, and they were both gone." the Doctor finished lowering his head to the floor.

In a grass land of sorts, in an unknown world, the scenery looked perfectly normal. But everything was blocky! The trees were blocks and the grass and dirt were blocks! Even the flowers were pixel like! But out of all the things being blocky, there was a humanoid figure whose body was all blocky. His arms, legs, torso and head all blocks or rectangles! But, he was carefully dragging along 2 unblocky characters of who are both passed out. Healed, but not very conscious!
This block man is the one and only Steve, the only block man of the Overworld sub-dimension, and any of the other sub dimensions! Steve decided to take a break and set the 2 mares down on the grass next to each other, he then looked at them wondering how they got into the whole dimension itself.
After a while Steve began to take the 2 mares into a house made up of wooden blocks with a pathway leading to it. The inside consisted of a floor pattern made with different shades of wood colour. Furniture wise there was a bed with a chest next to it. There were also 2 bookshelves on top of each other and a furnace next to a workbench in another corner. Steve was heading up to a jukebox and put in a record which proceeded to play some relaxing music .
After listening to the record for a bit, Steve proceeded to place the 2 mares he had found on his bed which rested in a corner. After making sure that they were in a comfy position, he took a book out of the chest beside the bed and took out a book and quill.
Steve's Journal Entry #407
Today I had built myself a portal to get to the Nether. I figured my old friend would still be there, but as soon as I arrived I saw a whole army of ghasts closing in on what seemed to be another 3 ponies! I managed to get two of them of who now rest on my bed. One is a purple coloured one which appears to be a unicorn and another is a cyan colour with a rainbow mane and tail! She's a pegasus due to the wings. I...managed to patch them up with a healing potion that I was taking. It was given to me long ago. I can only imagine what I will be faced with as the pony who seemed to be brown in colour with a hourglass mark was left behind. I only barely managed to get these two out in time before the portal was destroyed. But how did they get here? I guess all questions will have to wait until they both wake up. I can only hope they won’t take this too hard on me....
Steve looked over his new journal entry and then looked over to the 2 sleeping mares.
Steve looked out of one of the windows to see that the day had turned to night.
Morning in the next day
Twilight slowly opened her eyes while letting out a slight groan. She felt like she was sleeping for years. She looked to her side to find RD sleeping next to her. That is until Twilight began prodding her awake. Rainbow Dash's eyes flew open and began checking herself for cuts or bruises, only to be surprised there wasn't any. Twilight then did the same, also finding no damage. It was then where they noticed their surroundings. They took in the details of the house and then their eyes fell upon the sleeping block figure on the floor. A smell wafted through their noses and they spotted the mushroom soup. They then proceeded to drink half each so they were satisfied.
Steve began to awaken from his slumber and saw to 2 mares awake and looking at him.
After a few hours of conversation about the world and dimensions, Steve finally told them about his journal that he kept in the chest. "I write down all interesting events in there. My recent entry is about me finding you two."
The Quest for Soulsand Part 1
The landscape of the Nether was very quite. Only the odd cry of a Ghast or the odd snort of a Zombie Pigman could be heard through the blood red blocky landscape. The faint sound of hoofsteps approach as Mr T walks slowly over the mountain of Netherrack. The scorching heat of the natural tempreture beating down on him. But having lived here for many years, he had already adapted to the tempreture and can resist the heat much better than anyone else. The view infront lit up by the firey glow of the lava oceans and streams along with the yellowish glow of the glowing blocks scattered in hanging clumps under cliffs and overhangs of Netherrack.
Mr T passed many streams of lava, walking through gatherings of Zombie Pigmen ignoring their gazes as they looked upon him. His mind was set on one goal and nothing would stand in his way. Eyes looking around his surrounding for the brown substance. His journey was sure to be a simple one, but of course, nothing is simple in the Nether. Soulsand in the Nether had recently been disappearing from the world. The only place cloest that he knew to find soulsand would be in the Nether fort!
Mr T was gradually making his way through the rocky paths and hills, intent on finding the Nether fort. e had been walking for some time until he heard it. The soft sound of what sounded like crying. Almost instantly he jumped up quite a few hoofs in the air to dodge a fireball that would've otherwise impacted on him. Twisting to face the Ghast mid-air, he pulled out a bow and a few arrows. Soon enough, the Ghast was intent on killing and so Mr T thought it best to run instead of staying to fight. He had a certain block to collect!
As he ran past valleys of lava and through the plains of Netherrack, he noticed a few zombie pigmen lining up against the walls. Watching him. He took no notice of any of this and continued to run. Run from the fireballs that trailed behind him. It was then he noticed some Zombie pigmen tapping their feet on the ground, along with others clanging their gold swords together making quite the beat!
"He's running through the caves, he dodges fireballs, Looking out for this block, but thats not what he saw. He searches high and low, dodging killing blows, For the block that makes you slow.....
They're here, they'll kill you all, With a fireball, Right against the wall..... To that block just down the hall!
Soooooouuuuuull saaaaaaaand..... Reaching out, grab it in hoof not hand, Soooooouuuuuull saaaaaaaand..... The only block within this laaaaaand.....
The lava's pouring down, the sky is burning red. His legs are gonna give, of which he'll then be dead. He searches high and low, dodging killing blows, For the block that makes you slow.....
They're here, they'll kill you all, With a fireball, Right against the wall..... To that block just down the hall!

After all that Mr T had come across the one place he was looking for. The Netherfort! After dodging all those ghasts and fireballs, he was still a bit tired out. Walking into the Netherfort, he takes a bite of a apple that he had with him. The walls were dark red brick, laced with various mushrooms across the floor in some halls. There were broken bridges of cross sections above lava. In spite of this, he pressed on, unknown as to what awaits him inside.
The land of Equestria is all clam and peaceful. Spike is helping Twilight sort out books in the library, Applejack is working on her farm, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are pranking Rarity with silly string and Fluttershy is tending to the forest animals.
Yes, all is normal as any other day. Except, as the day progreses, in a blue box out in the sky, far away in a distant universe, a large pair of eyes watches this scene through a scanner being held up on a large 6 sided console. With a light brown tan, a dark brown mane and a hourglass time mark (as this particular character likes to call it) Dr Whooves watches the various ponies on the scanner, thinking to himself whether it would be intresting to have a visit there. He decides to learn more about a certain 6 ponies knowing of what feats they've done and he thinks it best to know about their attitudes and how they take to newcomers.

After a while of watching, The Doctor (as he preferes to be called) agrees with himself that he's learnt enough about the 6 ponies he's been studying and so sets of to arrive. Lights flash and numbers appear on the scanner as he inputs coordinates and sets the time of arriving using various keypads located around the various 6 sides of the gleaming white console. With a final press of a button and flick of a lever, the Tardis sets in motion as the neon blue central time rotor whirs into action. The neon blue roundles on the walls shine brighter as the gentle hum of the Tardis starts to increase with that grating sound of the time energy roaring into life.
The Doctor decided to read up on the history of Equestria so he can know about the surroundings like the dangerous forests and historical events such as the banashing of Princess Luna and of course the point in time of the 6 ponies he was watching vanquishing nightmare moon with the elements of harmony. "Most intresting..." the Doctor mumbled to himself. While he read on he also started to thinkin about how quiet and lonely it was in the vast space of the console room but only him in it. He lases over quickly as he starts helping himself to a jelly baby. "aaah, I wonder if I'll ever find a planet of jelly babies?" the doctor wonderd to himself as he continued reading on. With the Doctor enjoying himself, the ponies of Equestria were about to be met with a strange sight indeed! "I don't know what I can' wait for the most, seeing their reactions and the planet itself" the doctor said with a mishchievous grin on his muzzel.
Up in the clouds were a bunch of pegasus ponies all flying about doing their thing. Rainbow Dash of course being the fastest of them all and zipped right past them. She, as well as all the others were completely oblivious to a change of the clouds. The ponies who worked at the weather machines were all oblivious to anything as well, until one worker managed to deduce something.
"Hey guys, check this out!" he exclaimed to the other workers. They all came to where he was hovering looking around. "I don't see anything." said one worker. "All I see are the clouds we've made." said another. The worker who called them facehoofed. "Yes, but look at that cloud there!" he said as he raise a hoof to point towards a strange looking cloud. All the other workers suddenly gasped and began to question what was going on. They were all yelling and exclaiming different things such as "I didn't make THAT cloud!" "What’s up with its shape?" "Did somepony's machine die?" The ponies in charge all decided to bring Rainbow Dash into the matter.
A worker was sent out to retrieve Rainbow Dash and he barely managed to catch up with here. "Rainbow Dash! There’s been a bit of trouble at the weather site! We need you to take a look!" shouted the pony over the noise of the wind. "Okay!" yelled Rainbow Dash in reply. They both made their way back and the other workers fell silent. "So, what’s up?" she asked. "Well...uh...best take a look for yourself." said the worker who spotted the cloud in the first place. He pointed his hoof to the cloud again showing Rainbow Dash. "What the heck is up with that cloud?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed with shock in her tone. She then began to fly out towards it to see if anything was strange about it.
Rainbow Dash flew up to the strange cloud. She tried to touch it, but stopped as she notice it was turning grey. "Hey!" she yelped in surprise as the cloud gave a short zap of lightning. "Rainbow Dash! Are you alright?" yelled a chief worker, who looked to be a cloud inspector himself. "I-i-i-it just zapped me! And it's turning gray!" she replied with a tiny hint of fear in her voice. "Why am I getting so worked up over a cloud?" she thought to herself. She eventually flew back to the other workers and said "I'm sure it's only a slight mistake with one of the cloud machines. Nothing too unusual about it as far as I can tell!" she said to all the worker ponies. Lots of sighs of relief could be hear throughout the crowd. The weather ponies then all returned back to their work stations thinking nothing more of the matter. Rainbow Dash, who was slightly annoyed over having to examine a cloud due to paranoid workers, then took off and started to fly about again.
Unfortunately for Rainbow Dash, she shouldn't just think of the workers being paranoid...as the cloud that everyone was getting so worked up over was very interesting....for all the clouds over the land of Equestria were all normal and fluffy looking...but this one was allot more flat and was infact...blocky in shape...
This is not the world I know...
Back in the Nether, the Doctor was sat in the corner with his eyes looking out the window at the ghasts flying about in the far distance. He looked down to the lava ocean and various lava streams pouring from the tops of cliffs. As he looked outside at the view as Mr T walked slowly up to him and placed a hoof on his shoulder.
Back in the Overworld, Twilight and RD both stood and looked out the window at the blocky scenery. Both thinking about the Doctor, just as the Doctor was thinking about them.

Rainbow began her singing with a soft voice unlike her!
The Doctor: "A rock, is a rock...thats what I saaaaaaaaay!"
Twilight continued on next "A view, is a view! But this is suuuurely soooooooo!"
"And liiiiiiives, should be liiiiiiives either waaaaaaaaay!"
RD and Twilight then continued to sing alongside each other
"I would give it all awaaaaay....if you both come back to staaaaaaaay!"
Then all three began singing at once!
"It's just a empty wooooooooooooo-ooooooooooo-OOOOOOOORLD!"
"It's just a empty woooooooooooooooooooooooorld!"
"Without yoooooooooouuuuuuu..."

The Doctor shed a few tears as he looked out the window placing a hoof on it.
