Among one the most feared bounty hunters in the whole guild. Worked along side her last surviving sister. Had a heart of pure stone according to most. Her name... Was Pinkamena Diane Pie. She sucked in a breath and drew her double edged, steel sword, gripping it tightly as she awaited the inevitable battle. Her sister Maud stood beside her holding a similar sword. Both were garbed in leather armor, padding their metal chest-plates and shoulder pads. They wore gauntlets and knee pads of the same sturdy material and gripped wooden shields with sharpened steel circling the edges of them like blades in their other hands.

The target will be here shortly if the information leak was correct. She thought to herself. Her straight pink hair came down to her chin and she had a scar across her cheek. "Maud."

"Yes, Pinkamena?" The purple haired woman said blankly. Her real name was Diane but they just used Pinkamena. Maud was always serious and expressionless but Diane seemed to have a way of knowing exactly how she was really feeling.

"The target will be here soon. If we want to be back at the guild in time for dinner, a faster way of dealing with these punks is to take them out from either side. You go behind the shelf and I'll go behind the counter, we can take them by surprise and finish them off in minutes." She said curtly as she held her gaze to the door.

Maud pondered this for a moment and gave a small nod. "Then we can bring them in and collect the bounty."

The two bounty hunters broke off and went to their spots, Pinkamena crouching low behind the counter with her sword at the ready and Maud behind the shelf. She pressed her body against the shelf with the tip of her sword scraping the ground and her shield pressed against her body. The two stayed like that silently for a long time until they heard the shop door open.

"Alright boys. Get everything you can and then we leave." The voice was Raspy and filled with mischief.

Pinkamena inched to the corner of the counter and peered out at her sister who glanced her way and nodded. She stayed crouched low and waited patiently for the sound of footsteps to come closer. The lights were out so her and Maud easily went unnoticed as the bandits got closer. There were three sets of footsteps to be heard. One had broken off from the other two and went a different way. Just as the two sisters hoped.

It was only a minute before two sets of boots made themselves noticeable in Pinkamena's line of sight. Within seconds, the two sisters jumped from their hiding spots and drove their swords into the bandits' chests. Blood splattered on them and the bandits let out loud screams of agony and pain with blood leaking out of their mouths. They went limp on the swords in only a few quick seconds.

Pinkamena placed a hand on the dead man's chest and drew her sword out of him, allowing him to collapse lifelessly to the floor. She put her sword away and drew a dagger from her armored boot. "The last one will take us to all the other stolen goods and then this job is finished."

Maud nodded as she gazed at the two lifeless men. "I'll call in the cleanup crew."

The pink haired huntress nodded and looked over to see the third bandit calling for his friends, having heard the screams. Before he could spot them, she shoved Maud to the entrance and dove behind the shelf. She gave her sister a nod to let her know she could go and watched as the third bandit ran up and crouched down next to his lifeless pals.

"How did this happen?!" Pinkamena smirked as he cried out before bolting out and grabbing him from behind, holding the knife to his neck.

"You're going to give me what I want. If you don't, I'll just kill you now. If you do, you can rot in prison with a chance of seeing the sun once more before your inevitable demise." She whispered in his ear.

The man was frozen in fear, his breath shaky and barely above a whisper. When he opened his mouth to speak, nothing came out so he just nodded and whimpered. Pinkamena nodded, "now. Where are the stolen goods."
