Let's meet Ben.
Life is hard or at least Shining Armor thought so and the math kind of ended up that way or at least his math. Starting a career as a royal guard at times of great peace and rapid development was not easy job to have , easy indeed when it came to just staying there as a piece of meat with two eyes and try to look intimidating but not as easy when it came to promotion or ranking up.
There are two ways to get promoted is that simple, the first way that was the easy and safe way: Meaning to stay on duty for 4 years and have the training's required that was very easy to accomplish but the amount of time required to have a decent rank was enormous, just calculate: 4 boring years per rank was such a bad deal that made Shining Armor rethink his career sometimes.
Lets do the math: 18 years old finished his basic military training so from rank 0 he went to Rank 1 (PV2 /Private 2) it took 4 years or to be 22 years old to get to Rank 3 (PFC/Private first class) and the rank he is currently is at the point of 26 years old Rank 4 (SPC/Specialist) .Getting in a decent rank like SMA/Sargent Mayor of the Army would drain his life to the point of 62 years old. At the fucking retiring point just 3 more years to enjoy that rank and he is out of the military. In peaceful times that's as far as you can go. And to no surprised there is no such rank right now because whoever was near of gaining it realized that it was not worth it and that it was bollshit.
At times like this nobody can even dream of getting a rank such as general or anything like it no no no my friend as far as Luna could tell guards didn't even dream of that kind of shit,it was so impossible that lead to that kind of thinking, heh it's so horrible that it sounds funny. The only other way was to take part in combat, show great leader skills, be great on victory and graceful in defeat and most impotently get out alive. The last one didn't always happen unfortunately...but the worst part is that this option didn't even exist on whatever amount you can think of. There is such a great lack of action that the smallest opportunity is taken right away by some other guard that just happened to be there.
Shining Armor as a specialist was specialized on defense strategy and magic that means he is not even in terrain, just guarding the huge ass Canterlot Castle so now Shining Armor is guarding doors for living. Not even mentioning the humiliation of never being able to be any good at real threats like Nightmare Moon or Discord.Plus if all of this wasn't enough the high ranks are complete assholes to other lower thanks (not those who had the power to command just slightly higher rank like CPL/Corporal those who got on charge where always nice persons mostly) cause apparently they had nothing better to do than being sadistic, sometimes I really question their mental health. They appear to have lost their sanity during the years of just guarding doors and doing nothing. Or maybe that's just Shining Armor thinking that way cause he was mistreated and even abused since he got his last rank. Jealousy?-nah...Sadism?-Maybe...Boredom?-Absolutely.
And yeah it did feel nice to have Twilingt around sometimes she just happened to always make up to Shining's Armor day.Twilight was the reason even why Celestia seemed to notice Shining and looked at Shining Armor a little differently than others, Shining also seemed to notice but didn't gave it much thought cause he could not really tell if that was a good or bad thing and he kinda find out the answer to that question a month later when...let's say he was having the roasting of his life by some Corporals and he could not do anything about it. Apparently Twilight was there and saw everything much to his and hers dismay the witnessing had to be from a long distance, Twilight rushed to help but when she arrived at the scene both the bullies and Shineing Armor where gone.She felt the pain in his brother's heart and decided that she will do something about it, later on she complained to Celestia and without knowing why Shineing Armor's military profile was offered a 2 rank promotions by Princess Celestia that of course as the highest authority and experience in combat was the general of the army and the royal "we" also gave the same position to her sister Luna that also absolutely deserved it.
As soon as Shining armor got aware of the situation he was going directly at her highness to ask her about it because really that's was an outrageous offer,in a total of 8 years of work-8 FUCKING YEARS OF WORK.While on his way to princess Celestia's court room Shining Armor spotted Twilight waiting for him in front of the double doors of the court room that normally should have been guarded but 2 royal guards minimum but it looks like they where dismissed for some reason. Shining and Twilight had a small talk and she explained Shining everything he needed to know including the fact that Celestia did not want to talk about it personally with him and that she did that because she needed some who she can trust...*suuure I see how it is*
After a touching thank you and a hug later Twilight and Shining armor parted ways. It did not take long for Shining to accept the offer and become a SGT/Sergeant, Shining knew that this was a great step in his career and needed a celebration but he also knew he had to keep it professional and secret because when other guards found out about the instant double promotion they did not take the news very well cause...obvious reasons, some accepted it but some complained to her majesty herself witch resulted on being striked on their profile for offence/s.
Not much time passed and some good news rose up again,we where having a new princess that is: The princess of love that was assigned on ruling over the Crystal Empire. As a country that was still getting on it's feet it required some assistance, a variety of supporting measures where send to the Crystal Empire that happened to include a pair a guards that where going to be Princess Cadance personal guard because the Crystal Empire had its own militia but it was still not ready to provide as well trained and professional guards of a quality to be Personal royal guard of Princess Cadance basically Princess Celestia got over-protective a bit and took this measure believing that her guards are and would be the best for her.
Before Shining Armor was aware a it my military profile had gotten an offer of an another promotion if he went on duty in the Crystal Empire as Cadence's personal guard. Shining Armor knew that meant two things: 1.) He was getting another 4 years of work off his shoulder that would make him a SSG/Staff Sargent and he had just gained the ability to command royal guards but only guards that are assigned to him and him only. 2.) Instead of having a squad to command he would have just one partner he could command due to the fact that he was becoming a personal guard to a Princess and she could not be escorted by 4-6 guards at a time (You know how ridiculous that would look like). A part of Shining Armor was curious that who would be the partner that will be assigned to with, normally a Staff Sargent choose his squad but a personal guard is assigned only by the HC/High Command. Interesting enough Shining is a SSG indeed but not on normal conditions, maybe that was the reason why this promotion was offered to him?-Who knows.
It didn't take long for Shining Armor to accept the offer and just hours later he was introduced to his partner. Shining was happy that it was a familiar and friendly face, he recognized it as "'B'less 'E"arning 'N'ight" (Middle name*) a guard that had started hiss military career in the same year as Shining Armor and he of course was still a Specialist, he was not as lucky as Shinning to get his promotions.It reminded Shining where he could have been by now...still in that rank. Anyway everyone called him shortly as 'B'E'N' he was trained and specialized as an assassin it kinda makes sense cause if someone had the mind of an assassin and wanted to assassinate a target he would understand how an assassin's mind works to counter even the possibility of an attack.
What did not make any sense however was the fact that he was a sociopath,literally even his profile showed his psychological examination.Shining Armor was supersized from the High Command decision.All Shineing knew is that the only difference between a normal mind a that of the sociopath's differs on only one point: Thinking of doing something and doing something in a normal mind are two different experiences but to a sociopaths's mind they do not differ. I guess that's why he was never abused by other higher ranks.
Example: If you are a normal person and get angry with someone so bad that you think on killing him/her even if you go for it your emotions will stop you to do so maybe fear or regret or something but you don't do it.But if that happens to a sociopath he would never think twice because to him is the same as thinking it. Moral of the example: Don't make sociopaths angry and you will be just fine.
Shining realized that guards like this don't question orders no matter what,maybe HC thought that it would be easier for Shining Armor to command such a guard who knows?, guards like this would not even think twice to even die for any princess if they have to...their insanity makes them stronger than most of us. So Shining understood and respected High Command's decision and he knew Ben a little bit and he was...nice.
"Good day sir, glad to be under your wing."-Ben said a sarcastic joke to brake the ice a little while saluting towards Shining
*Train departed after 15 minutes they where in the train*
"Well maybe all of this is not going to be that bad after all"-Shining thought while looking thought the train's window as Canterlot faded from view.

Let's get to know Ben.
Well it did not take long for Ben to start giving up the creeps to Shining Armor but the crazy part is that he was not doing anything...almost absolutely anything at all. Shining Armor was not sure if he was even breathing at some point and just staying totally still,his eyes not appearing to be focused anywhere but not moving at the same time and it's been quite a while he's been in that state.Being face to face with Ben just made him it worse.
"is he daydreaming...can someone just space out like that?"-Shining Armor thought to him self.
Trying to find out in what state he was and why was he chosen to be his partner by the HC Shining Armor decided to call out.
"Ben."-Shining simply called out
Shining Armor was not sure if he was joking or telling the truth but the circumstances seem to head at the truth rather than a joke but Shining Armor did not want to believe that, cause that just made him even more creepy.Shining Armor saw his resolve weakening and thought of a different approach to the conversation maybe a little more offensive was the key...
"Quit the formalities for now."-Shining Armor said trying to be a little intimidating.
"Is that an order sir?"-Ben asked still with the same tone.
"Yes it is."-Shining Armor responded sheepishly to Ben's question that made him sound more like an idiot than anything else.
"With that goes the offensive approach" -Shining thought and mentally face palmed himself.
"Well it looks like you are a person who wants to get right to it,aren't you?"-Ben responded before Shining had a chance to recover or say anything.
"What?"-Shining asked without even thinking, more a reflex than anything else.
"We both know that you do not deserve the rank you have and you know that and except that you are in the same page with me"-Ben said still on that same tone.
"I was given those ranks by Princess Celestia herself..."-Shining started defending himself before being cut off.
"Because you where the bitch of every single Corporal if not anybodies else and her pupil's brother, not just me but everyone knows about it even the HC and that's why they are puting you in these special conditions of a STG until you somehow prove yourself worthy in the most dangerous assignment of all,that being where are we heading."-Ben continued himself using a higher tone to cut Shining Armor off.
"How dare yo-ugh"-Shining was cut off again but this time it was not by words but rather the tip of Ben's spear that was softly pressing down harder as time passed Shining Armor's throat.
"...but in a difference to those fucks I lack the ability to care,i don't care what or who you are or what you do...I don't care if you become a general or even if you get somehow transformed into a fucking alicorn princess *Ben smiles* for as long as it does not effect me*sign* but even if it does, not to become my problem because if it does *Laught* I would still not care who or what you are,you are going to die and that is going to be cause of me."-Ben did not appear to finish but the train instructor was coming to check up the tickets and could be herd approaching from the distance.
Ben withdrew his spear from Shining Armor's throat giving him a second or two to cough before the instructor entered to their cart.
"Tickets please."-A young unicorn mare appeared near their seat demanding the tickets.
Both Ben and Shining Armor reached for and gave her the tickets just to receive them back a moment later that was just enough for Ben to receive a death glare from Shining Armor that just made him grin a little.
"Have a nice trip"-the inspector mare said before exiting their cart and closing the door behind them.
"You should have seen the look on your face"-Ben said taunting his head.
As crazy as it seems to admit Ben was right, others worked for years to achieve what he had and Shining Armor did start to think more highly of himself than he should have...as much so that he himself began to notice it. Whatever is too much is no good Shining Armor knew that he just didn't realize how much his ego had increased these recent times, at least he now knew that it was enough to blind him.Ben opened his eyes before he could do something stupid that Shining Armor would regret.Ben might have been rude but Shining did felt thankful somehow for what Ben did. Shining Armor learned something for him at least, Ben judged...differently as it seems.
"What should I think of you?"-Shining Armor asked in a volume that most people would call it a whisper,holding his throat with his right hand.
"Think of me as an ally at least,at most a frien-emy."-Ben answered with a smile on his face returning to his usual tone.
"Frien-emy, what is that supposed to mean?"-Shining Armor asked confused.
"It means that we might talk,work and even play as friends but beside that we would kill one another if could go away with it clean.In the other hand, deserve it or not you are still my commander at least in other guards perspective so you will act as one and I will have to deal with it...for as long as you don't become stupid enough to over do it."-Ben explained himself.
"Why the fuck did the HC choose you for me to deal with?"-Shining Armor asked with anger in his voice, not commenting the previous words Ben said cause for some unknown reasons it made sense.
"I joined the royal guard because I wanted to die...my only purpose of me being here is because I want to die but if I shall die I will die for something.I am not going to be one of those people who just gives up on life and kill their own self.I asked for this assignment cause it's the most dangerous one there is right now.My reasons why I choose death upon life are none of your business and I guess that now you understand that threatening me with my life is the stupidest thing you can possibly do so never give me that glare EVER."-Ben said raising his tone at the last word
Shining Armor was surprised to hear that...Ben was suicidal maybe suffering from severe depression and he has been dealing with it for entire years until he became a Specialist means 9 years minimum with the private training.Ben needed help even if he thinks he is doing fine on his own and Shining Armor was more than just willing to give it, but for now not much can be done let's wait a little.
*The Crystal Empire could be seen appearing in the distance by the train mirror
"Well Ben I hope your wish gets true, heh I am your frien-emy after all and we are almost there! "-Shining Armor faked both the words and the smile he gave to Ben.
Ben got up to see from the window Shining Armor could see the Empire a smile slowly forming on his face.
"Well then I thing we should tog in back the formalities right, SPECIALIST?"-Shining Armor said with sarcasm on his last word.
"Yes sir."-Ben replied also with sarcasm too but did not turn to face Shining Armor, still the result was the same.Now they both had grins on their faces.

Let's meet Cadance
Seeing Crystal ponies was a beautiful experience for Shining Armor but Ben didn't seem to give much of a fuck.
"Do you know that we were sent to Crystal Empire without a map?"-Shining Armor said to Ben as soon as they got off the train.
"Don't worry thought the Empire's constructing strategy is simple, whatever road you follow from the ends of it if you are moving straight you will end up at the castle"-Shining Armor smiled after saying that.
*smirk* "Clever in times of peace but a weakness in times of war, to make up for it they will have to build up a wall if they didn't have a princess.Lucky bastards...when you compare them with Mainhatten of course, nor Princess nor wall just buildings filled up with people that will have to take the impact, what are they thinking? live shields?"-Ben said with frustration.
"Stay Sharp Crystal guards 3 o'clock heading towards us"- Shining Armor said without getting the chance to comment Ben's opinion.
Ben turned his head to look at his right just to see two guards approaching and saluting after they where facing him and Shining Armor just so they would salute back a moment later.One seemed to be a private first class accompanied by a private, both of them earth ponies.
"Good to see you arrived safe and sound Staff Sargent"-said the SFC/first class private.
"Well it wasn't much of a trip, hope you guys got something more interesting for us?"-Shining Armor asked smiling at the low ranks of the Empire's militia.
"Sure thing sir, if it's necessary we will escort you till the castle's doors"-The SFC without any particular emotion.
"I know the way till the castle my comrade but I also know it would take a lot of time for us to arrive there by foot"-Shining Armor explained to the SFC.
"We took care of that sir, we can open a portal on your command that will transport you both to our headquarters when you will be meeting one of our temporarily HC transferred from Canterlot. Me and my partner are in duty here, the portal it'self has the potential for only two going through it anyway sir"-The SFC informed Shining Armor.
"Well then you may open the portal, here ain't much to do anyways"-Shining Armor said satisfied with the situation.
"Yes sir."-the SFC said before grabbing something behind his back and dropping it on the ground, just so a moment latter to emit some light and turning into a portal.Crystal rune*
"Well then keep up the good work here mates, Ben lets move out."-Shining commanded before he himself went through the portal after Ben nodded and the two crystal guards saluted.
A moment later Shining Armor didn't quite know where he was but he knew he was at the headquarters, anyways it didn't take long for Ben to get appear from the portal and the portal itself vanished behind them.
"Should have take this kind of rote from Canterlot sir"-Ben joked he knew that it was not possible because the greater the distance the greater magic required and there was no unicorn who could charge a crystal like that even if a crystal could store as much magic.
Ben is seeming to talk only in the moments that Shining Armor could not reply cause as soon as he wanted to say something he was interrupted by the sound of doors opening in the front end of the hallway they where standing. 2 Crystal guards appeared and one Royal guard leading them. It was a members of the HC it was a SGM/Sargent Mayor, an old Pegasus stallion.
"So you where the ones chosen by the rest of the HC even with me being against it?"-the SGM talked first and it looks that it didn't like them very much to begin with.It did not give Shining Armor a chance to respond however before speaking again.
" Anyway not much can be done now, make us proud. The princess is waiting to meet both of you, I do hope you both are hungry. Follow me."-The SGM ordered before turning around and walking towards the double doors on the other end of the hallway now followed by 4 guards in total.
They both entered what appeared to be the royal dinning area and it was beautiful with all the decorations with a big table and as much chairs that it looked like all the castle's staff could eat on it. in the end of it sat princess Cadence. Shining Armor did not notice at first but...
"I will have a quick word with the majesty after that you will be left alone, stay here for not"-The SGM commanded the 4 guards before turning and heading toward the princess and started to talk with the princess is a distance that they could not be heard.
The moment that Shining Armor saw the princess he was stunned by the beauty she possessed quite literally. Ben after a while seemed to notice this and hit him with his fist in an part of the shoulder that was not armored so it wouldn't make a loud noise and brought Shining Armor back in his senses. Shining knew about the time Cadence and her sister shared together but he never saw her because the same year she babysitted her was the time Shinning started his royal guard career.He calculated it...it happened 8 years ago when Twilight was just 10 years old with him being 18 years old and they got Cadance to replace him cause the parents where always busy. Shining Armor kind of thanked Ben with a nod and took his composure.The other two crystal guards did not notice anything and now the SGM was heading towards them.
"Well I do hope you enjoy the food and your time with the princess...apparently your highness what to know her personal guards a little more personally against me being against it...again. Farewell my comrades"-was all the SGM said before salute and signing with his hend for the two crystal guards to follow him just so a moment later Shining Armor and Ben would salute.
The moment the doors where closed Shining Armor and Ben got closer to her majesty just to receive a giggle from her and...
"Take a seat my little ponies I do hope you enjoy your food"-Cadance said waving her hand at the plated filled with food, head to head with one another.
Both Shining Armor and Ben nodded silently and took a seat removing their helmets off their heads in the process..putting them on the table.
"Ben remove the uni-flag"-Shining Armor said after a while and than thought of reminding Ben that in such occasion you should remove the uni-flag and show his real coat color because in the royal guards there where two standards only White and Gray that he thought Ben was using.
The uni-flag is a passive spell that every guard is casted on when they firstly enter the royal guard so if anyone has a different coat color he would appear white or gray as anyone else, it can be removed by earth-ponies and Pegasuses if the helmet is taken off or if you are a unicorn you get tough to cast and uncast it at anytime...Yes Ben's a unicorn are you happy to find out?
"My real coat's color is gray sir"-Ben explained the fact that he didn't even have uni-flag, leaving Shining Armor dumbfounded.
Cadence laughed. "No need for formalities here my little ponies after all I summoned you here so I get to know you two better"-Cadence more came to the rescue of Shining Armor than anything else.
An awkward silence filled the room before Cadence decided to break it.
"Ben huh I never heard such a name before"-Cadence said with a smile on her face. Ben seemed to tense up a bit.
"My apologies your majesty his real name is Blessed Earning Night that is just the name I call him for short."-Shining Armor interfered trying to fix his own mistake.
"No problem my dear I also like that name,I think I am going to get used to it"-Cadence said looking at Ben just causing him to get more nervous.
An awkward silence filled the room again much shorter this time, Ben garbed a glass of water to drink when the silence broke.
"So Ben nice to see you again"-Cadence said now totally grinning at Ben.

"You lieing, manipulative ,power-hungry,sociopath,son of bitch,motherfucker "-was all Shining Armor could possibly think of Ben when he realized that the Princess knew Ben before hand but it seemed that was not called that way when they used to know each other.
"You used to know him princess?"-Shining Armor asked confused.
"Oh yes he used to be my patien*glass shattering sound* ..."-Princess Cadence never got to finish that sentence.
"Pardon me"-was all Ben said before standing up and heading for the door.
Ben had shattered the glass of water he was holding just to cause Candence to stop talking and forcefully closing her eyes at the sound. Ben got out of the room and both Shining Armor and Cadence looked at each other awkwardly.
"As I was saying....he used to be my patient, as you know as a princess of love I do research it .There are several types of love that we call in a common name but I took my time to specify them. From all kinds of love there is only one kind of love that was believed that only gods and goddesses where able to share with their people, that kind of love is called agape. It's a kind of love that is both unconditional and absolute meaning that you love everybody just as us princesses love everyone of our subjects .Love has vector qualities it is always moving and pointed at the direction of someone or something.I call sense love, know to what it's moving and pointed at even if it's on me or others."-Cadance said while sounding more as a teacher than anything else.
"And?"-Shining Armor said rising an eyebrow.
*Sign* "And one day I found Ben...a mortal that loved the same way that only me and princess Celestia, not to mention her banished sister.Ever wondered how a pony could transform into an alicorn?"- Cadance asked a rhetorical question.
"The presence of this kind of love it's the key...the hardest thing to achieve among all other things. Ben was exiting news because he was a male, don't get me wrong females are extremely rare too as you can tell during the course of thousand of years there where/are only three princesses in total but during all those years no male of that kind of love was never found or theoretically only once because Princess Celestia and her sister should have had a father since they share the same blood so to speak"-Cadence explained while Shining being all ears.
"You...you are telling me that Ben...Ben is the first case in thousand of years who has the potential to become a prince...an alicorn prince?"-Shining asked his voice trembling while he spoke.
"He's the closest we ever got, yeah"-Cadence explained.
"What...what is that supposed to mean?"-Shining Armor a tone of anger in is voice.
"He does love the way we do but it's not...pure.It's love it's both conditional and is not absolute...almost thought.The condition he had put on things it's simple: if you progress anyhow no matter how little at a time in any sort of way than you are loved by him but there are things that don't progress but the other way around if you get what I am saying. Except that his love is not absolute cause he appears to have the ability to love everything around him just not his own self, that makes Ben the person he is right now and if you didn't notice that dream of his that i mentioned before is nothing more than the will to die but at least he wants to die for what he loves."- Cadence explained to Shining Armor.
"So to help him overcome these problems you did what exactly?How is it possible to love everybody?What is the purpose of him being here now?Can I do anything to help?"-Shining Armor asked curious,questions did not seem as they were about to stop.
"Things are much more complicated than that um...staff Sargent"-Cadence realized that she did not know the name of the person she was speaking with but decided to ask later about it and just read his rank.
"I am trying to give you the simplest version possible.You can love everybody when you love them for what they are but is not that simple that means that you must love even things and subjects as biology or science you need to love killers,rapers,criminals without condition it can get even more complicated then this so just don't ask every question that comes to your mind"-Cadance spoke with frustration on her voice.
"I understand...there are somethings I can't comprehend, I apologize your highness"-Shining Armor said lowering his head.
"Hey don't be like that you will understand with the passing of time...something I learned is that if mortals compare themselves with immortals is a rather depressing experience but I still need you help?"-Cadance said trying to get the guards mood up.
"You do?"-Shining Armor said while his head jumped up in hope.
"Cute"-was all Cadence thought for a moment before starting to speak again.
"We tried to help him overcome his barriers but we failed miserably"-Cadance said before being sort of interrupted by Shining Armor.
"We?Miserably?"-Shining Armor asked curiosity getting the better of him.
"Well by me I mean royalty and by miserably I mean that he was such a hard case to brake that during our attempts we tough him to hate , that just became one more problem for us to fix later.With the passing of time it can get worse.This is the plan: firstly the problem with hate as we mentioned, then we will have to make his love unconditionally and then finally the hardest: to make his love absolute."-Cadence said for some reason she also getting her own hopes up a bit.
"Sounds like a simple but difficult plan indeed, I can't imagine what you are going to get through and I know that a Prince would be good for us as a country but why exactly?"-Shining asked sheepishly.
"Well we do need someone to rule over Manehatten and we as a royalty might be willing to have a sure source of a next generation of alicorns when needed"-Cadance blushed really hard as she said this giving Shining Armor the image that he needed to see to understand what she was implying.
Shocked a bit Shining Armored asked:
"As stupid as it sounds to ask I need you to make sure that he lives...also I need you as a reason for some actions I am going to do and I will tell you what commands you will give him sometimes."-Cadence said just for a moment later to see Shining Armor nod probably still shocked a little.
As personal guards whatever they witness actions or words to them are top secrets and should never be shared so Shining Armor knew that whatever was said in this room stays in this room.

"Yes princess?"-Shining turned to face her.
The doors in witch Ben had exited previously opened...
There was Ben accompanied by a maid probably to clean up his mess. Silence filled the room as Ben and the maid approached.For the first time Shining saw Ben in a different way and he did not how, so many mixed emotions but he still managed to act out.
"Took you long enough?"-Shining Armor acted as he was joking around.
"It did actually because almost all of the maids take the lunch brake when the princess does and was hard to find one of those who weren't"-Ben explained the reason why it took longer than it should have had and took a seat while the maid did her job.
"How are you today Goldie?"-The princess seemed to be talking to the maid and they somehow started a chit-chat that nor Ben or Shining Armor where focused on listening to. However Shining didn't realize that he was lost in his fantasy and that he was stareing at the princess that was totally oblivious of Shining Armor at that moment. The maid seem to notice and blushed slightly, Cadance didn't notice but Ben did and looked at what was she blushing at...just to see Shining Armor's stare at the princess.
He kicked him with his leg under the table so nobody would see,luckily for Shining Armor Ben seems to knows where he hits because his hit landed on a part that was not armored making almost no noise in the process.
"Freaking assassin"-Shining thought to himself after coming back to his senses but still being great-full for what Ben did...better that getting caught on that state.
The small talk the princess had with the maid seemed to finish as much as the maid's job so she just exited the room and closed the door behind her.
"I'm sorry I missed the talk"-Ben said sarcastically before continuing
"So to catch up I just got one question to you princess"-Ben said attracting the attention of the princess.
"And that is?"-Cadance said with a hint of interest.
"What's his name?"-Ben asked pointing his finger at Shining Armor.
