Vortex Crator Everfree Forest

"Twilight! Why the heck are we here?! Didn't the princesses say they were gonna send somepony down here?" Spike said as he carried scrolls spell books and other materials.

"Because Spike, I wanted to exanimate the area and see if I can find any spell residue. The princesses know that I can do what those scientists can do in a weekend. What I don't understand is why didn't they just ask me to begin with?" Twilight said as she walked down the path to the area where Soul had landed.

Twilight had woken up early this morning, she was thinking late that night about a letter Princess Luna sent her while she was showing Soul to the library.

Dear Princess Twilight,

My sister has given me instructions to over see the situation with the human. I have decided to give our scientific minds here in Canterlot something to do. With this they have been given permission by me to inspect the area where the human landed. I would prefer you not to interven, so please try not to. Once we have the needed data me and my sister will analyze it, and then find a way to send him back to his respected world.

Yours, Princess Luna

Initially Twilight was going to follow the princesses orders but.....who could pass up an opportunity to study alien magic! So she had packed up some supplies and decided to go set up a small study tent which she held on her back. Twilight and Spike continued walking until Twilight started to feel like a strange sensation in the air. It was like an invisible fire in the air, and Twilight didn't like it at all. She immediately took action by putting a magic cleansing layer around both her and Spike.

"What was that for Twilight?" Questioned Spike as he went to pick up some stuff he dropped.

"Didn't you feel that Spike? The fire like sensation in the air." Twilight said as she keep walking, rubbing her arm.

Spike just shrugged as he picked up the last dropped object and keep walking. They soon came to an area with scorches in the ground that got thicker and thicker until they practicly covered the entire ground. They were both weary as they came closer to the main attraction in the center. The crator had a strange green slim inside it that seemed to glow a sickening green. Spike walked away from the crator and put down the equipment just in time for he was running out of breath. Twilight also walked away from the large indention in the ground and set up the tent with her magic. As Twilight did this Spike noticed that the slime seemed to glow more vibrant. He decided to go inspect it out of curiosity pulling out a snack bag of gems as he walked over.

"Twilight! You should come see this, this slime looks like it'- WOAH!" Spike couldn't finish his sentence as some dirt near the crator fell from under him. Luckily he managed to keep his balance but the gems he dropped in the pool of green mystery goo fell in and sank to the bottom.

"Spike what happened what were you thinking areyouhurt?!?!" Twilight who had picked up Spike in her magic, was frantically spinning him around and checking him for any injury.

Little did she know Spike's purple scales were turning a particular green, "Twilight... I'm gonna puke if you don't let me go, and put me *Gag* down *dry heave* right now!" Twilight did this almost immediately blushing a slight shade of pink from embarrassment.

She was going to apologize but was interrupted as the crator erupted with activity. A large beam of light shot out from the bottom as the gems floated into the air. There were six in total each a different color and shape, they were, green, red, yellow, a dark shade of pink, brown and the one on the top was a jet black. The goo underneath them seemed to reach up and wrap around the floating crystals. It touched them slowly sinking into the tiniest cracks and openings, as it did the atoms of the crystal walls shot out. They turned the sides more ridged and added sharp spikes along the sides. The goo finally finished soaking in and the gems stopped morphing around and shot bright purple sparks to each other. The remaining goo seemed to open up as the six spiked gems shot down into the green slim. Twilight and Spike just layed there, the force putting them on their buts. They looked to each other pupels diolated to pin pricks, and faces frozen in shock.

"Are we gonna tell the Princess Twilight?" Asked Spike.

"Yes...after I figure out what just happened." Stated Twilight as she and Spike both picked up all the equipment and Twilight scooped up a sample of the green goo. They both high tailed it out of the area, not seeing the dark clouds that circled about ten miles away.

Capital Wasteland The D.C. Ruins

Dead. That was the one word that you could use to describe The Capital Wasteland. It's world bathed in a natural grey that covered everything from the day sky, to the night. In this world layed little to no hope, raiders killing and raping sometimes in that order. People stealing and killing one another for food or medicine, but usually for water. Between this and the now natural mutants and radiation. The world could be better...and now it is. It has been two years, two glorious and amazing years sence the release of the wasteland's saviour. He had single handedly taken on the wasteland and some of it's weirdest quests. He had walked from place to place collecting scars, treasure and stories. This behavior had earned him a name or more of a title...a title that he held close to heart.

"Hello kiddies, this is THREEEEEEEEEE DOOOOOG, your friendly neighborhood disc jockey! What's ah disc hell if I know but I'm gonna keep talkin anyway!" Blared a very energetic voice from a man's pipboy, the one and only Loan Wanderer.

"Ladies and gentlemen... I think we've done it! The Capital Wasteland has been running low on things to kill, well besides the occasional raiders. Now the big green assholes from the ruins of D.C. have been pushed back. The brotherhood has blasted those bastards all but off the face of our beautiful waste. They had help though, a big shot out to that mysterious loner. The one who stopped by to save his dad and in term save all our sorry asses. Here's to good old vault 101, kid if your out there, this ones for you." Three Dog played one of the wanderer's favored songs, "Dear hearts and Gentle people"

The Wanderer didn't know exactly who played it but he enjoyed it nun the less, as he walked wearing his armored vault 101 jumpsuit. He remembered when he first heard the song, it was after he first left the vault. After his father left the Wanderer didn't know what exactly to do but one thing was certain. He had to find his father. He had looked and wandered a good amount of the waste till he found his father and helped him give water to the waste land. A mechine called the purifier was designed by his dad to give drink able water to the wastland, a beacon of hope for all. Unfortunately... His father wasn't alive to bask in the victory. Killed by radiation, the Wanderer had lost his reason to live. So when the opportunity came up to both die and save the waste like his father wanted. He jumped at it, after typing in the code he thought himself dead but amazingly he survived. Only to go up against the enclave and eventually run them out of the wasteland. After that the threat of the Super Mutants were a very real possibility so back into the grinder.

It's been two years sence he first put all this into motion and now all that was left was for him to clean up the rest. It was true what Three Dog said though, the wasteland had lost a good part of it's danger and not much was left to do. Besides the constant threat of raiders and wild life, people had much less to fear. Which was good and all but...there was so little to do! The Lone Wanderer often thought of going to the another place, like this Commonwealth he'd heard so much about. The only problem was the brotherhood had no real way to get there. The virtabirds they had were limited in power and the ones in the Commonwealth were all busy fighting as of late. So here he was, walking around aimlessly. If he had ten caps every time this had happened to him he'd be able to buy Rivit city.

The Lone Wanderer walked along a old road from the pre-war roads that snaked though the Capital Wasteland like intestinal safe paths to walk down. He stopped and looked up to the sun using his pipboy arm to help block it's rays. After a few minutes of standing trying to decide the time he looked at his pipboy. It said he was in good health, his bar that displayed his health full and all his limbs in working order. Making sure he was ok, he keep walking. He turned his head quickly to the sound of gun shots in the distance, being in an environment like this does that to you. He was going to leave it be but noticed something just as he turned back to continue. There was a large black cloud floating over where he guessed the gun shots to be there also seemed to be...are those virtabirds? He ran closer to the storm, something he'd never seen in the Capital Wasteland. Once he was close he came to a large pile of rocks and climed up to the top, as he did he pulled his sniper rifle from his back.

When he could see over it, his jaw would of fallin of had it not been attached to his jaw. There were raiders, at least forty of them all in some kind of fight with an enclave regimen. The Wanderer looked around and saw a few crashed virtabirds, there were burns near the engines and some melted metal near the cockpit. That would explain why others were landing near by, but how were they even here? The Lone Wanderer could of swore after he destroyed their land base that they were a thing of the past. Sure he ran into a few patrols and maybe a lone virtabird but nothing like this, what was going on? He didn't have long for a few raiders who had yet to join the fight started taking fire at him with assult riffles. The Wanderer was lucky enough to duck behind some rocks before a barrage of bullets hit his cover. He pined his back to the rock as the riffle fire took a few slivers of rock were chipped away. He put his riffle on his back and took out his 10mm submachine gun. He was quite attached to this gun do to it's story involving a certain declaration and a girl called Sydney. The Wanderer waited for the right moment knowing that raiders lacked any real combat experience so waiting till there clips ran out was simple.

Once the hail storm of bullets were done the Wanderer came out from his refuge and took aim. He then activated his V.A.T.S. system on his pipboy, as he looked down the sights of his weapon. Most people would believe that the V.A.T.S. system could completely freeze time but that was not true. It actually taped into the wearer's neural system and made them capable of processing things far faster. When it took control of the Wanderer his world slowed down, he could see the looks of the raiders as they went from focused to shocked. Their bodies light up and the Wanderer took aim at their heads, each showing a decent chance of scoring a hit. His targets set he let his reflexes lose from the pipboys neural guide and let loose his clip of bullets into the raiders. One he shot right between the eyes a clean kill, another he missed and managed to take cover behind a tree. The last one was assaulted by 10mm rounds taring into his face, leaving it unnoticeable to anyone even the Wanderer. The raider who had taken cover jammed another clip into the assult riffle. The raider took aim and fired a few shots at the Wanderer, he was lucky and managed to hit his leg below the knee.

"Aaahhhhh!" The Wanderer screamed, the wound in his leg bleeding. He took aim at the raider's head before he could duck down, and let loose ten bullets at raider only for half of them to hit their mark. The 10mm rounds collided with the skull like a death claw and a mole rat, tearing away flesh and cracking bone as well as adding brain matter to the massacre of the raiders and enclave troops.

"God damn it!" He cursed as he inspected his new addition to his many battle scars. The fighting was getting worse and it looked as if both enclave and raiders were starting to take notice of him, and his position. The Wanderer looked around trying to find somewhere he could heal himself, when his eyes came upon the crashed virtabird in the center of the battle. He weighed his options and decided to take cover in the remains of the virtabird, not wanting to just stand there and die.

He ran straight for it trying his best to ignore the only growing pain in his leg. The cross fire from the battle nearly missing him multiple times, as he closed the distance to the wreck and jumped towards it. Once he landed the Wanderer immediately crawled the rest of the distance to the virtabird as the storm looked to be turning over head. The lightning from the clouds seemed to be striking with more force and faster as the Wanderer leaned up against the side of the virtabird. He clasped his leg and tried to slow the bleeding as he pulled out a stem pack. He prepared the sweet life saver that had saved his ass more times then any weapon. Stabing it into his leg near the wound and watched as it started the healing process. First attaching the muscle and ligaments back to there rightful place then regrowing any damaged or lost skin. The pain was slowly fading as his leg was repaired, and the looked up in relief only to see the storm start to funnel down over him. The winds were blowing at near skin ripping speeds as lightning strikes started tearing both enclave and raiders to a bloody paste. The ink clouds swirled and lifted the Wanderer up, him trying to hold on to the virtabird as it seemed to increase in strength. The Wanderer may not of been a strong individual but the adrenaline in his vains was proving more then a challenge to the force of the storm. He looked over his shoulder to see a purple light as sparks of electricity with a dark pink color shoot across the vortex. The virtabird's weight was slowly raised by the ever growing wind and the Wanderer let out one last scream as both him and the wreckage were taken into the void.

Everfree Forest Some Distance Away from First Landing

The Wanderer's eyes slowly opened, his head pounding like a brahmin had kicked him multiple times in the temples. He tried to move and thankfully wasn't tied down or restricted as he stood up and brushed himself off. Dust and dirt feel free from his armor and the Wanderer went to check his weapons, but stopped as he reached for them. He was in...a forest. A actual green forest, not oasis he could tell from the lack of stone walls and people wearing strange clothes. He looked around in front of him at the green leaves and brown bark that wasn't scorched black or bent in weird angles. They were straight and....living, he would of gone up and inspected them had he not remembered the vortex and the events that transpired.

He turned around and saw the virtabird from before slightly more wreaked then before. The Wanderer walked over to it, hopping that there was something left on it that might be of use. He looked through compartments and didn't find much, luckily there where a few enclave cases that must of been lifted with the virtabird. He opened one only to find nothing and another and another, he eventually managed to find five plasma grenades and four emp grenades... Not to bad. He put them away and finally checked his weapons, his sniper was fine as was his submachine gun no major damage. He looked up and his blood ran cold at what he saw.

It was a suit of power armor, holding a far to dangerous minigun... Walking straight for him.
