in the end, we won

or so we thought

I stood over the battlements attacking a once proud city

we had finally arrived here, Canterlot

The final blow will be dealt

and all wars will end

it was to be an act heard around the world

but we never got there

we never reached the sisters

we were pushed back from the city to our homeland

at the time we were testing a new weapon

we never tested it truly

but in a way, we did

it was the destroyer of worlds

and we, dropped it on them

the result, was mass death

it was not a plague

not a natural element

but an tool of war

in our final hours

we were pushed back to the home of our Empire

we fought to the end and it was I

who led them

once they broke through the test lab

the weapon was ready

I hit the button

Boom

the entire city and almost 50 miles around it was obliterated

the sisters were safe in their own city

but they could see it and hear it from there

and I bet they were scared of this new weapon

But the result of use of this weapon

was that we were defeated

only a few of us lived

I was in a ruler once
