There is a room within the Baltimare Library, which was locked to most ponies, a few years ago. This room was recently reopened to the public after the current head librarian disappeared. Within this room, many unpublished manuscripts were found. The pony who found this room worked for the Canterlot Squire Publishing Company; and, thus, the rights were given to that company. Unfortunately, this company was facing financial problems -resulting from the loss of rights to several prominent writers. As nightmare night was fast approaching, the company, hastily, decided to publish these stories -after checking the diction and syntax and tacking on an introduction. The stories were distributed throughout Equestria and much of the company did not even know what they were about -or what the consequences of publishing them could be.
