This story is a holiday special for Cadance and the Art of Diplomacy, however reading CAD is not required to enjoy it.

Cadance has the perfect idea for a Hearth's Warming gift for her and her husband, Shining Armor; a night with the stallion all tied up for her to do whatever she pleases to him. Plans are put on hold when an invitation arrives from Ponyville inviting both Cadance and Shining Armor to the Castle of Friendship for a holiday party with the mane six. With some quick ingenuity, Cadance comes up with a way to have a good time, both at the party AND between the sheets with her husband. Shining is left in the dark, both literally and figuratively, as he is willingly taken to wherever his wife wishes to bring him, led by the promise of a night he will never forget.

Problems arise at the party when, as everypony is giving out gifts to one another, Cadance is found to be empty hooved. In order to save face, Cadance decides to spice up her special gift with Shining Armor by inviting the six mares to come and join her up in the guest suites, unbeknownst to the stallion secretly bound and gagged on the bed...
