I was called in to aid in the examination of a very odd specimen for which I had never seen before, nor could even imagine before my encounter with it. I was mostly there to observe the specimen through a medical perspective since I'm one of the few ponies that had vast experience with rare creatures. Personally, I hope I never have to go near it again, but I know that my superiors would want my input on the matter.
Anyway, I should start with how my observation began. Note: I will just refer to the specimen as H1 throughout the rest of this document. H1 was initially in an unconscious state and strapped to an examination table. The only way I cold describe it was that it was a long, furless, bipedal animal with a very odd structure to it. Given, it did posses some hair on its head, but the majority of it was covered so I can't say definitively if there is no other hair on its body. It possessed very small eyes, no muzzle, teeth resembling an omnivore, and hands without claws.
I remember that during the examination of its features, one of the other scientists asked me if I had ever seen such a thing before. I of course told her no, but I was cut off when it awoke. At first, it started to panic and the guards were called in. Somehow, H1 broke free of its restraints and darted into the far corner of the room. Its stance gave me the impression that it was in a great deal of confusion and shock turing into anger. As the guards approached to subdue the creature, H1 acquired one of the guard's spears and used it to attack them. The scientists and I ran as it tried to stab one of them to death while the other was trying to protect us. Fortunately, another guard came in and nocked it out with a spell. H1 fell flat on the ground and the guard's blood began to seep onto the floor. Medics rushed in and saved his life just in time. H1 was put in much stronger restraints and removed from the examination room and into a secured chamber.
What I fear most about the event was how quickly and easily H1 was able to overcome two guards and nearly kill one of them. It did it with such an efficiency that I come to the conclusion that wherever it was from, it must have been the most dangerous predator. Shortly after this, I will write up an official report on H1, and I just know that I'm going to have to continue my research into H1.
