During a harsh snow storm, a group of ponies find themselves stuck in Sweet Apple Acres. They plan on waiting out the storm and having fun along the way. What they don't know is that a creature has been sleeping underneath the ground for centuries, and today is the day it wakes up. To make matters worse for the ponies, this monster take the appearance of its victims. Now the mares have to find a way to stop this monster, before it take over all of them.
