Waking (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCUumwJRXQg) up in a jungle wasn't exactly a part of his wishlist, not today nor ever. But alas, his eyes wander around the strange rain-forest of sorts, but it was worse than that. The area he was in was freezing cold, the temperature was very unexpected for a tropical area to have.
He shivers a bit and gets to his feet quickly, surprised he wasn't eaten by any of the wildlife. "Guess I can count myself lucky... Where am I?" He said as he examined himself to see if there was any injuries he wasn't aware of, but as it turns out he has none. He noticed a blade in a sheath or scabbard attached to a mini-belt on his jacket, which was a very strange design choice for a coat such as this.
It doesn't even protect from the damn cold!
He should consider himself lucky anyways, he unsheathes his blade from it's scabbard and the first thing he saw that interested him was the engraving. "Leon..." He said to no-one in particular. "Is that my name? Huh... Okay then." He ignored the engraving for now and paid his attention to the blade itself, it was an eastern blade but it didn't look common or natural. It's hard to explain it, it's LIKE a katana, but it's more sharp and durable than that.
Another detail made it clear; This blade was polished and well looked after. His reflection was very noticable, he took a glimpse of his own emerald-green eyes and a bit of his blue spiked hair. Either he was a blacksmith or he recently went to one and never partook in a battle afterwards. He looks a bit too young for a blacksmith, in fact he looks young and almost feminine, but there was some masculine undertones, interesting...
He sighs and clicks his blade black into it's sheathe, he then looked around. "Now where do I go?" He said as he wipes a bang from his forehead and sighs. "Even have a habit of a female, too... But I am a male and I know I like girls..." He felt a ping of loneliness creep up on him. "Jeez, where did that come from?"
Leon sags his upper body out of defeat and noticed something, there was a pathway in this forest! If he took it, he'd probably find civilization!
'Genius, Leon!' He said in his own mind as he pumped himself up. "Okay, let's do this!" He smiled and started running down the pathway, hoping to get some exercise in as a warm up, he didn't want to be lazy after waking up from an unknown amount of time. Plus, he wanted to keep alert just in case any animal wanted to eat him up.
Jungle Pathway
As (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0gt8lKM4rU) the boy continued to run through the rain-forest, he notices the temperature is keeping a very steady pace, it was still freezing and he was shivering despite the fake bravado.
And within 5 minutes of running, he hasn't felt tired nor out of stamina yet, either he was naturally super powered or this place effected how hard it was for him to get tired. 'Good either way, I ain't complaining.' he thought to himself while he kept running to an unknown destination.
But unknown to him, a monster was hiding in the bushes in front of him, waiting for him to get closer so they could get the jump on him.
A few extra steps and the rustling bushes puts him to a halt. "Huh?" He exclaimed as he looked in front of him. "Who's there?" He said, hoping that it was another person who was lost.
However, what came hopping out was a wolf, a wooden wolf! "What the hell?!" He shouts as he unsheathes his blade and keeps it in front of him in a stance that shows experience. '...How weird... It feels deja vu, but I know for a fact I never attacked or killed anything before...' He took notice that the wooden wolf was getting closer towards him and eventually charged at him. 'It's now or never, Leon!'
He (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1VVNnHzxoI) took a swipe at the wolf as it charged, but it dodged knowing the dangers of what a sharpened blade would and CAN do to a wooden creature like itself. It growls and retaliates by jumping on him and kick-flipping him to the ground. He lets out a pained yelp and quickly gets up as the wolf lands on it's paws.
Leon growls. "Damn mutt!" He shouts as he kept going for the slashes, hitting the wolf with a few successful blows. "haha! Gotcha!" He said in pre-mature victory, but it again retaliates with a swipe of it's sharp claw, knocking Leon backwards as it cut him. The feeling of his adrenaline kicking in dulled the pain. "I gotta try harder, or else..." He then had an idea so crazy it just might work.
He ran towards the wolf as he sets his stance to wield the blade at his side. "GOOD NIGHT!" He shouts as he digs the blade into the ground to obtain a spark and slashes upwards, the spark caught in an artificial flame he created and killed the wolf with a mixture of an elemental slice, the wolf engulfs in flames.
Shock was the only expression Leon could use at the time like this. "D-Did I just do that?" He said as he looked at his blade, not a scratch or burn mark on it. "How.."
The boy was speechless as he tried to look for some flaw on his blade, but then it dawned on him.

Leon jumps for joy and pumps his fist. "Yeah! I won!" He laughs and celebrated his first victory, but then his adrenaline started to thin out, making his pain return, but it wasn't too bad. "Agh..."
Now (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0gt8lKM4rU) he could continue on his merry way to find civilization, but since he was slightly injured and didn't want the pain to intensify, he settled to walk for now, sighing in relief that he may have been a wooden canine's dinner.
With no supplies or painkillers it was hard to hurry on, he wanted to get some food, but a drink would be his first priority before he gets a meal in him, he wasn't one for eating other animals unless it was fish, fish was his main protein source.

How he knew that was beyond him, guess some memories are coming back whenever he has an empty stomach. He continues on until he comes across some ancient ruins. "Whoa." He said to himself as he looked over the decrepit buildings and what seems to be an entrance. 'Now, I ain't good with Archaeology, but... I'm pretty sure there might be treasure down there.' He said in his own head, the idea of treasure made him picture himself with riches.
Okay, he wasn't GREEDY, but since that it's ancient and no-one will be using the gold or jewelry, may as well, right?
'Sure, justify it all you want, brain.' he said to himself once again as he started walking through the entrance, but stopped to see it was a staircase down to a basement. "Hoo boy..."
Eventually (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO_qN34Nog0) making his way down to the hallways, he saw many traps that even a 5 year old can see, but he had no idea how to get past them without setting any of them off. "Who made this place, Tria's daughter?" He said, but blinks when that name came from nowhere. "Huh... I guess another fragment came to me, whatever, let's get this show on the road!"
He could feel the pain dull, so he could actually hurry on, with his reflexes and wits he managed to pass the few traps with ease. "Hah, and I doubted myself..." He said with a grin.
As he said this, he accidently stood on a pressure plate, causing the area to crumble a little bit, a gate starts to descend, a mechanism he had no idea was implemented. "God damn!" He then ran for the gate, narrowly avoiding other traps along the way, when he thought he couldn't make it he decided to slide under the gate, succeeding and got through it with style. "Hah!" He sighs and got back up, turning around he saw skeletons of ... Equines? Coming towards him with spears and scimitars. "Uh oh."
He keeps his hand on his blade's handle and taunted them. "Come on, wimps!" He shouts at them, agitating them further.
"Hoho! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1LZk2CF6is) A real fight!" He shouts as he ran towards the skeletons, doing exactly what he did to the wooden wolf, he creates a spark of flame and slices one of them, killing that one instantly. Bones from the now dead skeleton scatter around, a soul escapes from it and ascends upwards.
A skeleton goes to stab him with a spear, but he dodges and his cheek gets cut instead. "Agh!" He counters with a slice to it's midsection, once again killing it instantly with bones scattering and a soul ascending.
This is where his stamina was now starting to effect him, he was panting a little bit, but with the new found yet still thin adrenaline, he was still in fight or flight. He waits for the Equine skeleton to use it's scimitar so he could use a counter attack, it seems he's getting good at that.
The skeleton threw, yes THREW it's scimitar at him. Kyo got hit in the face by the blunt end of it's dulled handle. "Ow! Son of a bi-!" He was about to cuss but he got bucked in the chest by the skeleton, knocking the wind out of him. "Oof!" He lands on the closed gate and groans as he falls on his ass.
He gets up and pants. "Okay pal.. You want to go..." He ran at the last Skeleton and jumped high into the air, he twists his body and put his feet on the roof and uses it as momentum to go diving into the skeleton, the momentum adds to damage and speed, slicing through the skeleton and quickly getting into a crouched position, he softly gets up and sheathes his blade back into it's scabbard, at the same time, the skeleton scatters into many bones, the soul ascends.
After (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO_qN34Nog0) using up all of his adrenaline, he started to wonder how the hell he did that. "..." He looked up at the roof. "That's pretty high up, I have to say... How the hell did I do that?" He repeated, he shook his head and continued to wonder, how he did that was possible broken ribs.
... It was a shock, okay? He's bound to repeat himself constantly.
As he decided not to dwell on it, he continued on throughout the hallway, he avoided most of the traps from the last room, so it was a peaceful walk from the hallway and to the huge double doors.
Leon took note of the scenery, old rusted mechanisms and doors that looked like they were caved in at some point, there was another room next to the double doors, it looked like an old medical infirmary. "Sweet! Maybe there's some painkillers or something." He said as he walked inside and noticed it was all potions, bottled or in a vial, it was all the same.
It wasn't exactly medicinal stuff, but there was a few healing ones, but what got him was the fact that these were all pristine, and one of the healing bottles was taken from the shelf, a dust mark was seen to prove that fact. "Huh... Guess someone was here before me." He said to himself as he grabbed a healing bottle and without thinking, he started to down it.
The next thing he knew, he felt his pain dulled and warmth swarming over him, all of his wounds mend themselves like it was natural healing in 30x speed, not only that but his exhaustion just goes away entirely, he feels more awake and preppy than ever..
"Cool..." He said in awe, looking at the remaining 3 bottles. He had a grin and took another for later, just in case something goes wrong.
He decided to leave and head towards the double doors, there was a lever on the doorway, he lowers the lever and watches as the double doors open, the cogs in the doorway work their magic. Leon could have sworn he heard someone.
"Who dares interrupt an important moment?!" A male voice shouted as it slowly reveals some kind of Chimera looking thing, a look of shock was evident on it's face as it was examining Leon. "What the heck are you!?" He demanded.
A feminine gasp was heard as well, there was a P- wait, PEGASUS, whom was tied up on some sort of pedestal.
Leon didn't even need to care anymore, what he could witness was someone or somepegasus was in distress and needed his help. "Let go of the Pegasus, or I'll kick your ass!" He bellows towards the Chimera, pointing his blade at him.
The chimera laughed at him. "YOU think you can beat me? Oh, I'd love to see you try, weakling!"
The (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adSfroj4jmI) boy just grins and gets into stance. "Your funeral, pal..."
He ran at the Chimera with a grin. "Never underestimate your enemies!" He shouts as he did the same move as he did to the wolf. "SKIDDING FLAME!" he shouts as he finally names his move, it harmed the Chimera as it looked at Leon with shock. "! Very interesting, you're more strong than I give you credit for, to be a unicorn without casting magic is a rare sight of it's own... I'll be sure to use your body for my own research."
Leon made a disgusted face and shook his head from the thought, he ran at him again. "Let's see you go for another round! SKIDDING FL--!" He yells out before getting punched in the chest, knocking the wind out of him, he goes flying into a wall. "Gah!" he falls limp to the ground for a second before getting up. "J-just one punch... And I'm already..." He cough up blood.
"The name is Ahuizotl, by the way!" Ahuizotl, finally... Wait, Ahuizotl?! Another mythical creature?! Jesus, this place is so weird! But at least there's finally a name to his weird looks.
Leon pants as he was literally backed into a corner here, can he just do that thing he did to that skeleton 5 minutes ago?
'Might as well give it a shot...' He said in his mind as he looks up at the roof, and tried to mimic the jump, but he lands on his butt. "Agh!"
Ahuizotl laughed. "Oh, you're cute, kid... I can't believe I thought YOU were powerful to char me... But no matter, and don't you worry, I'll make your death swift and painless, and then I will finally exact my revenge ON DARING DO!" He laughs.
Daring Do herself laughs. "Like you can kill me, Ahuizotl, I'm not that hard to kill!" She said, finally making herself known.
Leon gets up and keeps his eyes on Ahuizotl, trying to find a way to get his memories in check. 'Shit, shit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrZflLODyFI), shit... How do I beat this guy? He's got a read in all my current moves and I can't get angry like I did to that skeleton.'
He was racking his brain to find some memory, some kind of attack he can use, but it was all for naught.
Leon felt his legs tweak out slightly, causing him to kneel on one knee, this illicit a laughter out of Ahuizotl. "The child surrenders? Good, maybe instead of killing you, I can make you my servant."
"HEY! Don't give up now!" Daring Do shouts at Leon. "Kid, I don't see a loser in you, please get up! Show him who's boss!" She shouts again to try and amp him up.
Leon felt something spark as she said this, the words echoed in his mind like a drill waiting to penetrate for the gold. 'Show him who's boss!' It wasn't Daring's voice, but it did make him remember something that can make or break this situation.
Getting back up onto his feet, still winded from the punch, he looked at Ahuizotl with absolute disdain as Ahuizotl was currently now having a shouting match with Daring Do. 'Now's my chance!'
"HEY, BIG (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuVpAsrzHe4) BLUE JACKASS!" Leon shouts out towards Ahuizotl, whom looks at him with a grin. "Heh... So you think you got what it takes? Hmm, alrighty. How about a free shot? After all, I'm feeling lucky!"
'Big mistake, asshole...' He said in his mind once more, raising his blade above his head as energy starts to draw around the blade, wind magic starts surrounding the blade. "I hope you enjoy this!" He shouts as he goes to strike the floor with the blade. 'Not a cool sounding name, but... Get's the job done!' He grins before finally shouting. "AIR SLASH!!!" A giant shockwave strikes Ahuizotl at an extremely fast pace.
Ahuizotl couldn't dodge it in time, his eyes widen as he was suddenly lifted into the air, getting cut from many different directions that would leave scars. IF that wasn't enough, the shockwave blasts him back into a wall with force strong enough to knock anyone out cold.
After the shockwave died down, Ahuizotl falls to the floor in defeat, groaning in pain before blacking out.
Leon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG5izxKv9A8) smiles and laughs, jumping for joy and pumping his fist in the air. "I did it!" Praising his own actions while the dumbstruck Pegasus looked in sheer awe. "A-amazing..." Just at that moment, an idea clicked into her head and a grin forms on her muzzle. "Hey, uh... Guy? Can you get me out of this thing, now?"
Leon looks over and nods. "Sorry about that." He ran over to her and starts to untie her knots, upon closer inspection it would seem that Ahuizotl had plans for her... 'Jeez, brain... Why you gotta be so dirty?'
After untying wasn't gonna cut it, his blade would. He cuts the ties, freeing the Pegasus in the coffin-like thing. "Hoo colt, am I glad you came along, normally I would have dealt with Ahuizotl myself but those knots were killing my hooves." She said with a smile.
Leon smiled as he then remarked. "You also look like hell..." He gets a potion from his little pouch.
