"Finally! I thought I was never going to get out of there!" Rarity exclaimed, as she came out of her parents´ house.As much as she liked to joke (Rainbow´s influence) she couldn´t help but feel incredibly happy.Only two days ago, she had finally popped the question to Dash;originaly, she would´ve wanted Rainbow to be the one that proposed to her but then she noticed what anyone would notice in that situacion, Dash wasn´t really the romantic type.

All the frustration was worth it now that she had her mare´s hoof, her parents´  approval and a smile that split  her face in two.

"It´s nice to see you again, Soarin" Rarity stoped herself as she heard her fiance´s voice not too far away.She turned around to see the two pegasi and remembered something about Rainbow wanting him to be the Best Stallion.Her smile became bigger if that was even posible and she was about to approach them when Soarin said:

"You too, Dash, I´ve missed you" Soarin blushed.

"Quit being such a sap, you" Rainbow chuckled. "There´s actually a reason why I wanted to see you today."

"I have something very important to tell you." They said at the same time.They stared at each other for a minute or two and then Rainbow broke out laughing.

"Okay, Romeo, you first"

"Hehehe actually I wanted to tell you,Dash, that I´ve had a crush on you for a while."

The mare´s smile was replaced with a frown "Like................................Romantic-crush? You want to ask me out or something?"

"Um, yeah that´s pretty much it." Soarin rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Oh, Soar" Rainbow sighed. "And I came to tell you I´m engaged!!" She facehoofed. "I´m sorry."

"Eeeh............" The Wonderbolt tried to change the subject, ignoring how bad he was feeling. "Who may the lucky stallion be?"

Dash shook her head. "Rarity.You remember her. Don´tcha?"

"Yeah.No offense but it´s............"

"..............An unlikely match, I know.Yeah.Everypony says that."

There was a silence in which none of them noticed the unicorn mare looking at them from a distance with a horrified expression.

"So................What now?" Soarin asked, worried.

"I encourage you to look for someone else.You´re awesome, Soar, really." Rainbow tried hard to smile but wasn´t able to. "Also Hayburger or hay stick?"

"Um burger,I guess?"

"Okay then, I´m gonna go now."

"Goodbye, Rainbow Dash."

Rarity watched as both pegasi spread open their wings and took it to the skies in opposite directions.She heavily sighed and started walking home.She didn´t know where Rainbow was going but she had to go back to talk to her at some point...................Right?

Late at night, Luna´s moon shining in all it´s glory and Rainbow Dash finally returned to her Cloud Palace.Since the stairs they had installed for her had been put away, Dash could only guess Rarity was home.She forced a fake smile to herself and flew towards the door, opening it.

She found Rarity at the living room reading something.Her eyes down in a mix of negative feelings.Rainbow didn´t notice, either that or she decided to ignore it.

"Hi, future wifey! Sorry to have you waiting!" The pegasus salutaded, flying up to the unicorn and kissing her ear.

"Hello, Rainbow Dash." She sighed, not taking her eyes away from the book for a second.

"Hey You okay? You look like you´ve seen a ghost or something."

"Close." She answered, coldly.

"That doesn´t answer my question." Rainbow Dash groaned and her fake smile was definetly gone for good now. "Come on, Rare, you know you can tell me anything.What?! Do your parents not approve of our love? Woe is us! Whatever will this two star-cross lovers do!" She cried, trying to mimic those actresses from a romantic play they have went to together not so long ago.

Well, it was less "Went To Together" and more "Rarity Dragged Her In Because It Was Her Turn And Rainbow Got Her Revenge By Taking Her To See Wrestling In Her Turn".

"They´re fine.Mother even asked if she could help with the cattering." Rarity answered.Then, she finally put the book down and shouted. "AND DON´T YOU DARE SPIT IN THE FACE OF ALL OUR DREAMS TO SHREADS!!"

"Calm down." The pegasus ordered, putting her whooves in her shoulders. "I haven´t exactly had the best day ever either yet here I am putting on my best face for you when I´m pretty sure all you´re worried about is your hooficure getting ruined."

"First, hooficures are very serious matters." This phrase made Rainbow Dash roll her eyes. If we had a bit for every time she´d say  that. "Second, I´m very sorry, dear, but you will find our problems are very similar."

"Mine isn´t exactly a problem.Go on."

"I know that Soarin has a crush on you."

"Yeah And?"

"And? AND?!! RAINBOW DASH I....................!!!!!" She was stopped mid-sentence by her fianceé shoving a hoof in her mouth.

"Look, it´s not Soarin´s feelings that matter; it´s that I was afraid those feelings would make him not want to go and not want to be my friend" She removed her hoof. "But that´s MY problem NOT YOURS.I´m gonna hit the hay."

She was in their bedroom with the door shut before she could respond.She was Rainbow DASH after all.

"FINE! But we´re going to talk about this in breakfast tomorrow!"

"NO WE WON´T!"
