"Finally! I thought I was never going to get out of there!" Rarity exclaimed, as she came out of her parents´ house.As much as she liked to joke (Rainbow´s influence) she couldn´t help but feel incredibly happy.Only two days ago, she had finally popped the question to Dash;originaly, she would´ve wanted Rainbow to be the one that proposed to her but then she noticed what anyone would notice in that situacion, Dash wasn´t really the romantic type. All the frustration was worth it now that she had her mare´s hoof, her parents´  approval and a smile that split  her face in two. "It´s nice to see you again, Soarin" Rarity stoped herself as she heard her fiance´s voice not too far away.She turned around to see the two pegasi and remembered something about Rainbow wanting him to be the Best Stallion.Her smile became bigger if that was even posible and she was about to approach them when Soarin said: "You too, Dash, I´ve missed you" Soarin blushed. "Quit being such a sap, you" Rainbow chuckled. "There´s actually a reason why I wanted to see you today." "I have something very important to tell you." They said at the same time.They stared at each other for a minute or two and then Rainbow broke out laughing. "Okay, Romeo, you first" "Hehehe actually I wanted to tell you,Dash, that I´ve had a crush on you for a while." The mare´s smile was replaced with a frown "Like................................Romantic-crush? You want to ask me out or something?" "Um, yeah that´s pretty much it." Soarin rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Oh, Soar" Rainbow sighed. "And I came to tell you I´m engaged!!" She facehoofed. "I´m sorry." "Eeeh............" The Wonderbolt tried to change the subject, ignoring how bad he was feeling. "Who may the lucky stallion be?" Dash shook her head. "Rarity.You remember her. Don´tcha?" "Yeah.No offense but it´s............" "..............An unlikely match, I know.Yeah.Everypony says that." There was a silence in which none of them noticed the unicorn mare looking at them from a distance with a horrified expression. "So................What now?" Soarin asked, worried. "I encourage you to look for someone else.You´re awesome, Soar, really." Rainbow tried hard to smile but wasn´t able to. "Also Hayburger or hay stick?" "Um burger,I guess?" "Okay then, I´m gonna go now." "Goodbye, Rainbow Dash." Rarity watched as both pegasi spread open their wings and took it to the skies in opposite directions.She heavily sighed and started walking home.She didn´t know where Rainbow was going but she had to go back to talk to her at some point...................Right? Late at night, Luna´s moon shining in all it´s glory and Rainbow Dash finally returned to her Cloud Palace.Since the stairs they had installed for her had been put away, Dash could only guess Rarity was home.She forced a fake smile to herself and flew towards the door, opening it. She found Rarity at the living room reading something.Her eyes down in a mix of negative feelings.Rainbow didn´t notice, either that or she decided to ignore it. "Hi, future wifey! Sorry to have you waiting!" The pegasus salutaded, flying up to the unicorn and kissing her ear. "Hello, Rainbow Dash." She sighed, not taking her eyes away from the book for a second. "Hey You okay? You look like you´ve seen a ghost or something." "Close." She answered, coldly. "That doesn´t answer my question." Rainbow Dash groaned and her fake smile was definetly gone for good now. "Come on, Rare, you know you can tell me anything.What?! Do your parents not approve of our love? Woe is us! Whatever will this two star-cross lovers do!" She cried, trying to mimic those actresses from a romantic play they have went to together not so long ago. Well, it was less "Went To Together" and more "Rarity Dragged Her In Because It Was Her Turn And Rainbow Got Her Revenge By Taking Her To See Wrestling In Her Turn". "They´re fine.Mother even asked if she could help with the cattering." Rarity answered.Then, she finally put the book down and shouted. "AND DON´T YOU DARE SPIT IN THE FACE OF ALL OUR DREAMS TO SHREADS!!" "Calm down." The pegasus ordered, putting her whooves in her shoulders. "I haven´t exactly had the best day ever either yet here I am putting on my best face for you when I´m pretty sure all you´re worried about is your hooficure getting ruined." "First, hooficures are very serious matters." This phrase made Rainbow Dash roll her eyes. If we had a bit for every time she´d say  that. "Second, I´m very sorry, dear, but you will find our problems are very similar." "Mine isn´t exactly a problem.Go on." "I know that Soarin has a crush on you." "Yeah And?" "And? AND?!! RAINBOW DASH I....................!!!!!" She was stopped mid-sentence by her fianceé shoving a hoof in her mouth. "Look, it´s not Soarin´s feelings that matter; it´s that I was afraid those feelings would make him not want to go and not want to be my friend" She removed her hoof. "But that´s MY problem NOT YOURS.I´m gonna hit the hay." She was in their bedroom with the door shut before she could respond.She was Rainbow DASH after all. "FINE! But we´re going to talk about this in breakfast tomorrow!" "Mornin´" "Mhmhm" Rarity nodded, not looking away from the mirror. "I thought I´ve already told you that you didn´t need those to look pretty." The unicorn shrugged."They help." "Whatever." She covered her face with the covers. "Wake me up for lunch." "Oh, no I won´t." Rarity said as she turned around and levitated her out of the bed. "GAH!" Rainbow Dash cried. "We still have things to talk about." "Um, no.I told you, it´s not that big of a problem and it´s also my problem, not yours.You can relax with your coffee and stay out of this." "Do you have ANY idea how marriage works?" Even with her face half done and without  her much needed daily coffee, Rarity was still able to get Rainbow Dash to listen on the stupidest topics and answer the stupidest questions.Well, at least it sounded stupid to her, that is. "Um, Rare,  this doesn´t change anything.We´ve been living together for a while and marriage won´t change our situacion in any way." She answered with a straight and expression-less face until, suddenly, a new thought popped to her head. "Unless you want kids.Do you? Because I´m pretty sure I´d be a really crappy mom." Rarity groaned. "That´s a topic for another day." She stopped levitating her and instead sat down with her in the bed. "Say, you´ve ever heard of the phrase "What´s mine is yours and what´s yours is mine"?" "Not really. That sounds like more of your thing, actually.Generousity and stuff." "Please don´t remind me of that." Rarity begged as she rolled her eyes. "Thing is, that is something married couples say to each other all the time.Married couple? What we´re going to be in a month or two?" "Rare, I have a bad memory but not that bad memory. I wouldn´t forget something like this." Rainbow assured her, now getting a little bit anxious. "Good.So you should know that, if something´s troubling you it should trouble me as well........" "THIS IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS YOU THINK IT IS, RARITY!!! And it looks like you´re more troubled than I am! What gives?!" She flapped her wings angrily for emphasis. "Alright, so I may be overeacting a little................" Dash said as thought she was speaking to a child. "That slow enough for ya?" The only response Rarity gave was grouning, closing her eyes, standing up and walking slowly towards the door.Rainbow Dash sighed. "Look. I don´t know why you propose to me. I only know I said yes because I wanted to spend my life with you and have a cool, awesome party that proved that to everyone. That proved we were serious.I didn´t wanted this whole mess, I didn´t wanted to be stressed out and I didn´t wanted to have to worry about anything." "You didn´t want stress and worries? Darling, you´re talking like you don´t even know me." Rarity laughed. The pegasus mare laughed back "I guess that comes with the whole Rarity Package Mai right??" "You are. You´re also right about me being a drama queen.................And a winny cry-baby." "I´ve never said that." "But you thought of it." She blushed, causing her fianceé to smile. I know I don´t say it a lot but I do and you should know it by now.So..............Don´t think I don´t care.I was just ignoring it or avoiding it because I had no idea what to do. Without letting go of their embrace, the pegasus turned to the clock at the cloud wall, which Rarity had decided years ago she shouldn´t question how it stayed there. "Ten pass eight. Why?" "I´M LATE FOR THE DRESS-FITTING!" In less than a minute, she´d had picked up her coffee, ran down the stairs and was now walking and drinking at the same time. "I LOVE YOU! BYE!" The pegasus shook her head. "ME TOO!" Weeks later "I´ve revised the party place How are the invitations doing?" Rarity asked to her partner, who was sitting in the table writing something. "Gave them all to Muffins.....................Um, except for this one." "Muffins?!" "Yeah, Isn´t she our friend?" The pegasus raised an eyebrow. "Yes, of course she´s our friend.But She´ll get it all wrong!!" "You´re overreacting, Rare" She sighed. "THIS again?" "Look, you can´t un-claing a clainging bell. If you want, give this last one to somepony else.Immago talk to the DJ." She handed her the envelope with a smile on her face. She used her magic to open the envelope "What were you writing down anyways?" "You´ll see. Later, babe." "I´ll see you, darling." They pecked each other on the lips and Rainbow took it to the skies. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Wedding/Epilogue //-------------------------------------------------------// The Wedding/Epilogue Rarity stood by the door of one of the rooms in Canterlot Castle.The two royal guards standing there gave their congratulations and she thanked them with a smile on her face.She then looked at the door and took a deep breath. "Having second thoughts?" She heard a raspy voice behind her. A voice she knew all too well. "I WOULD NEVER! I told you, Rainbow Dash, I love you and.........." "Yeah, yeah, me too.Can you relax? This is going to be the funnest night of our lives...............................That´s a word Right?" The unicorn shrugged.Rainbow was right.She just had to breathe and everything would be perfect. She hoped. "You look good." She smiled, letting her head up with pride. "As usual. You´re beautiful." The pegasus blushed. "Thanks." "I´m assuming you´re not backing down either. Right?" She asked. At first, her smile was confident but then she looked worried. "RIGHT?" "Dude, Rare, I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU. You think I would be wearing this Tartarus-umcomfortable and itchy dress for you if I wasn´t?" The unicorn snorted. "No. I suppouse not.Heh." "Alright then." She offered her her hoof to hold on to. "No backing down?" She chlenged to that hoof like she would fall of if she didn´t. "No backing down." She used her magic to open the doors and they started walking down the aisle. They waved at their respective guests and, althought Rainbow´s pile of guests was smaller, she could hardly recognize anypony.Sure, there was her dad, Scootaloo, A.K Yearling and Spitfire but, other than that there was zero familiar faces.She didn´t mind thought and she waved at them like they were good old friends. Then, at the aisle, there were the real good old friends. Twilight as a princess preceiding the ceremony, Applejack and Pinkie on Rarity´s side and Fluttershy and Soarin on Rainbow´s.They all smiled at each other trying to hold back tears. "Are you wearing your hat?" Rarity murmured in Applejack´s trying not to cringe. The farm pony gave a sheepish smile and whispered back at her. "Heh.Sorry, Rare, can´t stay separated for a second. You would know." The unicorn turned to Rainbow Dash, who was hidding a chuckle with her hoof.A roll of her eyes later and they were standing beside the Princess of Friendship; wings wide open and levitating a very long, large and old scroll.The alicorn coughed and began.Rarity whispered once again, this time to her soon-to-be wife. "Try not to fall asleep." "No promises..........................Well, only one promise.The most important one." They looked at Soarin and he nodded with the biggest smile they´ve ever seen him have.Then they nodded at each other.The pegasi vows were being recited by their friend but they didn´t hear a word.They were deaf. "Girls.You´re being rude.This isn´t on the protocol." Twilight looked at them, frowning and smiling at the same time.It was a weird gesture, yet one they appreaciated. "He, sorry, Twi, I do." Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her neck. The alicorn nodded and began with the unicorn vows, which were a little bit longer.But she got to the end just fine. "I do." "Without any objections.Then, I hereby.With the power  Celestia vested in me as the princess of Friendship and Magic.I´m happy to pronounce you wives.You both can kiss the bride." She folded her wings and put away the scroll. "You don´t have to ask me twice." Rainbow laughed, as she closed her eyes. One kiss to seal it all up.One kiss to open the door to a life time of hapiness. Rarity thought as she closed her eyes. I don´t know what she´s thinking. Probably real cheesy. But hey, it´s the best day of our lives Isn´t it?
