One thousand years ago, ponykind revolted against the tyranny of the Royal Pony Sisters. Using the power of the Elements of Harmony, they were encased in stone for all eternity for their hubris.
Ten years ago, two young ponies went on an expedition to Saddle Arabia and found the site of that last battle.
Now, the artifacts found there are safely ensconced in the Museum, in an exhibit due to reveal during the World's Faire and Exposition in Fillydelphia.

Until all Hell breaks loose, and it's up to six ordinary ponies to come together to defeat the threat.
