Rarity and I began to walk back to her shop but it was so dark we could barely see.
“Hey Shadow can you see”
“Not really… its sooo dark here at night in PonyVille”
“Yeah we better hurry before we get into trouble”
‘I think we are about half way there now.’ I thought to myself, ‘I think Rarity is a bit scared of the dark but I don’t see what there’s to worry about’
“Ahh Shadow did you here that” said Rarity a little bit frightened
“Nah I didn’t hear anything”
Next thing we know we hear a vicious roar.
“Did you here that Shadow”
“Yeah I’ve defiantly heard something that time” I said trying to figure out where the sound came from.
We could hear the roar become loader and Rarity was shaking in fear.
“Are you alright Rarity?”
“No, not really, I’m a bit scared”
“Don’t be afraid I’ll look after you” I said in a heroic manner, “Hide behind me so he doesn’t see you”
“Okay” She said as she gets quickly behind me
“ROARRRRR” yelled the beast that suddenly stood right in front of me.
I looked behind me and see that Rarity was hiding behind underneath my wing. I look back at the beast to see it had three giant dog heads and perked up with its long scorpion tail.
“Wow that’s one hideous beast” I said trying not to be scared, “Rarity are you going to be alright for a minute while I teach this…thing a lesson”
“Are… you… sure… you… won’t…get…. Hurt” Rarity said sniffling
“I’ll be fine… Just wait for me alright because I don’t know how to get back to PonyVille” I said with a warming smile.
“Yep…. Ill…. Wait…. Here….”
I turned around to face the beast for the second time.
‘Alright time to do this’
I began to charge at the beast and prepared for a head-butt. As I hit the beast in the chest it didn’t faze it at all.
‘What do I have to do to hurt this thing?’
It swung its tail at me sending me into the air into a nearby tree.
“Shadow” Rarity screamed as she ran towards me, “are you alright”
“Yeah I’m all good… Let me try this again,” I said standing up with ease and a criminal smile
“Be careful Shadow”
“Yeah I will”
I began to charge at the beast for a second time and the outcome was exactly the same as the first, I then attempted for a third… then a fourth time.
“Shadow” Screamed Rarity
“I’m alright… Ill… get him this…time…”
I begin to charge at the beast for the fifth time, I begin to think what will happen if I couldn’t beat it and what would have happened to Rarity if I didn’t do anything. With doubts flowing through my mind I became determine to defeat the monster. I began to run faster and faster until I couldn’t run any faster. I looked behind me to see if Rarity was alright and I noticed that she was crying and there’s was trial of a red and black speed lines behind me giving me an idea.
‘What will happen if I run around it as fast as I can?’
I began to run circles around the beast, as I reached my sixth lap around it a cycle of red and black wind began to engulf it.
“Oh my Gosh Shadow” Rarity said stunned at the sight of the red and black cyclone “It’s like he’s going so fast that he’s creating a Vortex around it”
‘This is working,’ I yelled in my head, ‘Now it’s time to end this,’
Each lap around the monstrosity I ran I got closer and closer to it until I physically couldn’t get any closer
“Now go away you Monster,” I screamed as I released my plan.
The Vortex that surrounded the beast, began to lift it from its feet. I then had the idea to launch myself into the air with the help of the vortex. As I was in the air I began to spiral back down creating another small vortex as I headed towards the monster.
“Aggghhh” I screamed, “Now it’s the end”
I hit the beast and a huge cloud of smoke and dirt blasted away from the final attack.
“SHADOW” Screamed Rarity.
Within the smoke and dust clouds she saw a figure standing up.
“Shadow is that you” she asked quietly scared of what or who it could be.
The figure then began to walk out of the smoke and dust
“Shadow” Rarity said excitedly as she runs over to me “You are alright”
“Well you could said that”
“Where did you learn how to do that, because you’ve only been in PonyVille for a day?”
“Let’s just say that back on Earth I used to play a lot of video games and I kind of gives you an amazing imagination”
“What are Video Games?”
“Don’t worry I’ll tell you tomorrow” I said trying not to yawn “mmm that was tiering… we better get you back to your store”
“Yeah let’s go”
We arrived back at Rarity’s shop in PonyVille and I waked Rarity up to her front door.
“Thanks Shadow, for saving me back there... from that monster I don’t know what I would have done if you weren’t there” said Rarity trying not to cry.
“Hey… no need to cry you’re alright now” I said trying to be sincere, “if it wasn’t for me showing up here in PonyVille none of this wouldn’t have happened”
“It’s not your fault it happened... It could have still happened to another pony”
“Well I better get going so that you can have some rest”
“But where are you going to go, you don’t have a house here in PonyVille”
“I’ll find somewhere to stay the night”
“How about you stay with me at my place… I’ve got enough room and a spare bed in my house as you already know”
“I don’t want to intrude… because you’ve already looked after me once”
“Na its fine… after all you just saved my life… and then tomorrow I can introduce you to Fluttershy and Applejack”
“Yeah that would be good”
“And after that we can ask Twilight If she could ask princess Celestia about getting you a new house and maybe she would know a way to get you back home”
“What happens if I don’t want to go home and stay here in PonyVille…. Cause I wasn’t getting far in life on Earth”
“Maybe she can send you home so you can say goodbye and get the stuff you need so you can here”
“Yeah that would be good… well I’m going to go to bed,” I yawned “I’m tired. That damn vortex took a lot out of me”
“Yeah Goodnight and see ya in the morning”

I headed up stairs so that I could get some sleep but I couldn’t help but wonder what was happening back on Earth. My mum was probably going crazy not knowing where I am, my sister, probably loving it… me and her never got on and my dad, well I never really ever saw him much but I knew he loved me. I thought about how crucial it was for me to seek guidance from the princess

‘Hmmm…. It’s a new day in PonyVille…. I wonder what time it is’
I got out of bed to see what time it was and….. I fall right onto my face
‘Owww’
“Morning Shadow”
“Morning Rarity… Why do I feel so sore?” I said getting up from the ground
“Probably from that Vortex move you did last night or the pain from being smashed by that beast has finally caught up with you”
“Hmmm…. It feels like I’ve been hit by a train… don’t ask what a train is”
“I know what a train is,” Rarity said with an obvious smirk, “but, sure… Anyway you hungry”
“Starving what’s to eat….”
“Well we’ve got hay, Dandelion sandwiches”
“Ok I’ll just go with the sandwiches, thank you,” I smiled.
“Coming right up” said Rarity cheerfully as she started walking out the door “I’ll meet you down stairs…Ok Shadow”
“Hey Rarity thanks for letting me stay the night… because I don’t know where I was going to stay”
“Hey no problem it’s thanks to you that I’m still alive”
“Hehehe Yeah”
“Well you better go have a shower… It’s down the hall to the right”
“Thanks see ya down stairs”
“Yep” smiles Rarity
I headed down the hall and entered the shower
‘Ha-ha the showers here are like baths’
I had a decent five minute shower, for my first in Equestria.
‘Where is a towel? ... Agh here’s one’
I got out the shower, dried off and headed down stairs for breakfast.
“Yo Rarity…. You there”
“Yeah Shadow”
“I was wondering if we could see about getting a house today and going back home for a couple hours”
“Yeah sure that means where going to need to see Twilight first”
“OK Cool”
I sat down and began to eat the dandelion sandwich
“Oh God, that tastes good”
“So you like it”
“Mm… Hell yes”
“So Shadow what are you going to call that move you did yesterday”
“I dunno haven’t really thought about it”
“Well you should with a move like that you could probably join the Wonder Boltz”
“Nah… I reckon Rainbow Dash would like to see it though”

I finished off the sandwich leaving nothing left on the plate.
“Well I’m all done how about we go and see Twilight now”
“Yeah sure”
We begin to head to Twilights house.
“Hey Shadow… Why don’t you learn how to fly?”
“Yeah I should… but who would teach me”
“I think Rainbow Dash will teach you”
“Well that will be the next stop”
We reached Twilights house and asked if she could ask Princess Celestia if we could have a house form me to stay in and if she knows any way to get back to Earth for a short amount of time.
“Spike” yelled Twilight “Thank you,” she said as she saw the purple dragon blow a small flame and caused the scroll of writing disappear.
Within seconds another note pops up in the air.
“Hmm… Princess Celestia has declared that the house located across from Rarity’s House will now be available to the tenet Shadow… And for getting back to Earth these two Teleporting belts will take you back to Earth for exactly One hour for you to said your good byes and take any belongings” Spike said aloud reading the scroll.
“We’ll let’s go back to my place Rarity…. And see what it’s like”
“Yeah sure… and will go get your stuff after”
“Yeah….. Thanks for the help Twilight I owe you big time”
“No problem…Bye”
We left Twilights place and walked towards my new house, when we eventually arrived at my new house we went inside to see how big it was.
“Holy Crap… This house is Massive… bigger than my house back on Earth”
“Yeah all houses are huge in PonyVille so we can fit everything inside”
“So…. Rarity… would you mind helping me get my stuff back on Earth”
“Sure no problem”

We straped the belts across are waists and hit the button on the top of the device. *Beep*. Next thing we knew we were on Earth.
“So Shadow this is what you humans look like”
I turn around to talk to Rarity and notice she was wearing now clothes and here hair was still purple.
“Umm… Yeah…. Wait here a sec while I get you some clothes”
“Okay….but why do I need clothes”
“Us humans where things called clothes…which cover the body reducing exposure”
“Okay”
I walk to my mother’s room and grab some clothes for Rarity
‘Agh these will do nicely’ I think to myself
“Here you go” I said as I had the dress to Rarity
“Thanks…. But how do you put it on
“You just put your arms through these holes… and pull it over your head while putting your head through this hole”
‘Okay thanks”
“No problem Rarity”
We walk down stairs to see if my mum was home
“Hey mum… Mum you home”
“Yes Karl”
“I would like you to meet my friend Rarity”
“Rarity nice to meet you… where are you from Rarity?”
“I’m from PonyVille... Miss…”
“McGrath” I whisper to Rarity
“Miss McGrath” adds Rarity
“Karl what’s going on” my mum said, “This better not be one of your funny tricks”
“No it’s not one of my stupid tricks… for once in my life I’m being serious for once in my life”
“But how can a place filled with ponies and a gay ass TV show be real”
“I thought that as well but it seems to exist”
“Well I’ve only got forty-five minutes to said good bye because I’m moving to PonyVille and in the next forty-five minutes it will teleport me back there so I’ve got to said goodbye and get my things”
“But Karl are you ever coming back”
“I will one day and maybe you can come back with me”
“Yeah that would be nice”
“Well Mum I got to get all my stuff and I’ll come back down and we can talk some more”
“Yeah….. Sure” My mum said trying not to cry.
I head back upstairs to pack some of my stuff inside some bags
“Celestia said if you are touch the objects that you want to take… they will be teleport back with you”
We begin to huddle the rest of my belongings into the centre of the room.
“Hmm this should do the trick… Rarity I’m gonna head back down stairs to said goodbye to mum” I said sadly
“Yeah that’s alright Shadow, you go do what you have to and I’ll be waiting here when you’re done”
I head back down stairs and see that mum was crying on the couch.
“Mum, you okay”
“I’m fine”
“You don’t look it”
“Well how would you feel if you just been told your son is leaving and not able to come back?”
“I know it seems hard to comprehend right now back in the end you will learn to live life without me…. And it’s not like you don’t have Hagrid here still”
“Karl don’t call your sister that… and I guess I can see you on that TV show of yours”
“Yeah you’ll get to see me in pony form”
“Shadow” yelled Rarity, “We have only got a two minutes left”
“Shadow” laughs mum
“Long story that I’m afraid we don’t have time for….Well I’ve got to go back to PonyVille… Said good bye to the family for me and said good bye to my dad for me”
“I will”
“Oh and make sure you said by to my broseph Kyle”
“Sure will”
“Mum…. I’m sorry I have to go but I Love you and I will Love you forever and ever”
“I know you will Karl… Just make sure you come back someday”
“I will Mum” I said as we head up stairs
“Hey Rarity make sure your touching everything you can”
“Sure Shadow”
“Mum Bye and I love you” I said trying not to cry

The next thing I knew I was back in my house in PonyVille all my belongings were put in to place from a spell Rarity cast so we didn’t have to move anything at all.
“Thanks Rarity for the help today” I said in a sad voice
“Are you okay Shadow?” asked Rarity in a sincere voice
“Yeah I’ll be fine Rarity… I just got to be alone for now”
“Yeah no problem… I’ll be at my place across the road if you need me”
“I’ll… probably see you tomorrow and we can go see Fluttershy and Applejack”
“Yeah sure… Oh don’t forget we have to see Rainbow Dash about you learning to fly”
“Yeah thanks Rarity again for the help today”
“No problem I will see you tomorrow”
I begin to head to bed, as I reach the bed I hop in and drift off to sleep

I awake to hear a knocking on my door. So I get out of bed and head downstairs to see who is making the racket. I open the door to a brown pony wearing a Cow boy hat and a yellow Pegasus.
“Hi yawl… the names Applejack… and this is my yellow Pegasus friend Fluttershy”
“Hi” quietly said Fluttershy
“Hi nice to meet both of you”
Applejack then turns around and whispers to Fluttershy
“Pinkie Pie was right he is Cute”
“Shh I think he might hear us AJ” whispers back Fluttershy
“So what’s your name” asked Applejack
“Oh yeah” I said a little embarrassed that I forgot to tell them my name, “My name is Shadow”
“So Shadow” Asked Applejack, “what brings you to PonyVille”
“I don’t know I guess it’s the sights” I lied.
“Well there’s no place like PonyVille that has the greenest and healthiest Gardens” said Fluttershy, “and the animals here are very nice”
“Well…” Applejack buts in, “We gotta get going and finish gathering the apples at my Ranch... So we will see you later”
“Yeah thanks for stopping by… but how did you know I lived here”
“Pinkie Pie told us” Said Fluttershy
“Well catch ya later” said Applejack
“Yeah Cya” I said as Applejack and Fluttershy leave
“Well I guess that gives me more time to see Rainbow Dash”
I head across the road to see if Rarity is still awake and I notice that she is still sleeping.
‘I won’t wake her up I think I will be able to find Rainbow Dash by myself’
I begin my search around PonyVille and it takes me a couple of hours to find Rainbow Dash
“Hey Rainbow Dash” I yell as loud as I can
“Yo Shadow” said Rainbow Dash as she turns around
“I was wondering if it was possible for you to teach me how to fly”
“Hmmm… what’s in this for me?”
“I could teach you how to do this awesome move I call the Shadow Vortex”
“Okay we’ve got a deal”
“Cool… when do we start” I said enthusiastically
“Right now”
“Okay let’s do this”
It took six hours for Rainbow Dash to successfully teach me to fly.
“Hahahaha I Can Fly” I screamed at the top of my lungs, “I can’t believe I can fly… Woohoo!”
“Ha-ha good for you Shadow” said Rainbow Dash cheerfully
“Now how about I teach you that move now”
“Na don’t worry about it I’ve already got enough moves to impress the Wonder Boltz with”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah I’m sure but how about you show me it instead”
“Okay”
I begin to charge in a straight line just like I did when I was fighting the beast, and when I hit the speed I was going when the Red and black speed lines occurred
“You ready to see this Dash”
“Sure am”
“Here it comes”
I begin to run around in circles until the Vortex becomes small enough to perform the final move. I use my new flying ability to travel up the vortex launching me further into the air.
“Wow this is amazing” yelled Rainbow Dash
Then I tuck my wings in and begin to spiral down creating another small vortex around my body until I hit the dirt. Dirt and smoke begins to fly everywhere like it did that night when I saved Rarity
“Hey Shadow where did you learn how to do that?”
“I learnt that move a couple of nights ago when I saved Rarity from that beast”
“Wait…. What you saved Rarity”
“Yeah its true”
“How come she hasn’t told us yet “
“Maybe she hasn’t had the time yet… It’s not one of thoughs things you want to go brag about”
“Maybe” said Rainbow Dash “you do know she likes you right as more than a friend”
“How you know?” I ask
“I was talking to her yesterday afternoon when she came back from your place”
“Wait a sec she told you that”
“Yeah… any why don’t you ask her to the ball that’s happening next Saturday”
“I don’t know”
“She would be looking forward to it as she does make the best outfits in all of PonyVille”
“Yeah but how do I get invited to a thing like that”
“I dunno I will ask Twilight for you but for the mean time go and hang out with Rarity… She loves hanging out with you”
“Yeah I will go do that… Thanks Rainbow Dash for everything today”
“No problem… Just remember to show her your new flying skills” Rainbow Dash said
“Yeah I will”
“Oh and Shadow call me Dash for now on”
“Ok Dash… see you later” I said as I zoom of to Rarity’s house
I reach Rarity house in a matter of minutes
‘Wow flying really does get you places faster than running’ I think to myself
I knock on Rarity’s door to see if she’s home
“Oh hi Shadow” said Rarity while opening the front door
“Hey Rarity how’s it going”
“Good” said Rarity while yawning
“Um… Rarity I was wondering….. If… you would like to go out for dinner somewhere tomorrow night” I said shyly
“Ummm…….. Sure I love to,” She replied while going red
“Sweet… I’ll pick you up at Six tomorrow”
“Yeah sure… I’ll see you then”
“Sure will… Bye”

I begin to walk back home to plan were we are going to go for dinner and I realize that Rarity will be wanting to go somewhere expensive
‘I should go ask Dash if she knows anywhere Rarity would like to be taken’
I leave my house in a matter of seconds and fly around town to see if I can spot Rainbow Dash around town
‘Agh were is she’
Just when I was about to give up on my search I see Rainbow Dash zoom past
‘Agh there she is’
I begin to chase Rainbow Dash across town trying to get her to stop but after thirty mins of chasing Rainbow Dash she finally stopped at Applejacks Ranch
“Hey Dash I’ve got to ask you something” I said trying to catch my breath
“Yeah what is it”
“I was wondering if you knew where Rarity would like to be taken out to”
“Well if I remember correctly… Last time she went to Pony La Graze she said” Rainbow Dash said before clearing her throat “The food at Pony La Graze was exquisite and ill like to go there again sometime soon”
“Well that was easy” I said “Well I better get going and make a reservation before they close… bye”

I zoom of too Pony La Graze to see if I could make a booking for tomorrow night. As I arrive at the restaurant I notice that a young maire was being picked on by two colts
“Hey you going to run home crying to mummy” Said one of the male ponies
“Yeah you going to cry you cry baby” said the other one
“Hey you to leave that girl alone” I said walking over to the bullies
“Hey granddads why don’t you go back and sit on your rocking chair” said one of the male Ponies
“How about you beat it and leave this poor girl alone”
“How about we stay and beat you instead” said the other pony
“You’re free to try” I said with a smirk on my face
The two Male Ponies begin to walk circles around me trying to find a weak spot where I won’t see them coming. Then the both begin to charge me from either side.
“Hmm stupid fools” I said quietly as I step back making them crash into each other.
They both decide that charging wasn’t going to work for them again so they ran to the side of the restaurant where a stack of barrels were all stacked up and start launching them at me.
I start to dodge each barrel as it is being thrown at me.
“Ok guys, is that all you can do…seriously” I said “how about you leave now before you both hurt yourselves”
But the continue to throw barrels at me so I kick one back at them knocking over one of the ponies
“Now are you going to leave?”
“Never” shouts the standing pony
He begins to charge at me but stops and swings a left punch at me
“Ok… Funs over”
I dodge underneath his arm and grab his right leg and throw him into the fountain behind me
“Ok…. I think it’s time for you both to leave before I have to humiliate you some more”
The next thing you knew they were both running home like some cry baby’s
“Are you ok” I said to the filly on the ground that the bullies were teasing
The light blue filly with white hair looks back up to me
“Yeah I’ll be ok” she said trying not to cry
“Are you sure” I said seeing her struggling to get up off the ground
“Yeah I’ll be fine…. I’m kind of used to it know so it doesn’t bother me anymore”
“Hey no pony in PonyVille should ever have to be bullied it’s just not right” I said helping her off the ground “What’s your name by the way?”
“My name is Sparkle and what’s yours?”
“I’m Shadow… Nice to meet you”

“Well can I at least help you home? So those bullies don’t come back”
“Actually I was going to see my dad he owns that restaurant over there called Pony La Graze”
“Well I’ll help you over there because that’s where I’m heading”
“Ok”
Sparkle and I walk over to her father’s restaurant Pony La Graze.
“Hey dad are you here?” Shouts Sparkle
“Yes I’m here honey” Said her father from I the kitchen
“Hey dad I’ve got someone I would like you to meet… He saved me from those bullies at school”
“So someone finally stopped `those dreadful bullies I’ve been trying for weeks but they always come back” said Sparkles father while walking out from the kitchen
“Hey Sparkle darling why don’t you go upstairs and find your mother”
“Ok daddy”
“How about me and you go for a walk Mr….”
“Shadow” I said butting in
“Mr Shadow”
We begin to walk outside the restaurant.
“Shadow I owe you for looking after my darling Sparkle”
“What about a free romantic dinner tomorrow night at six o’clock”
“Hmm you got a deal my friend…. but what the hell sure… Tomorrow six o’clock we will be ready my friend”
“Thank you sir… See ya tomorrow night”
“By the way Shadow the names Al”
“Yeah I understand… See ya tomorrow night
“Bye Shadow”
By the time I get home the clock said its 9:00 PM, so I decide to head upstairs and go to sleep

I awake to my alarm clock going off
‘Hmmm I don’t want to get up…..what time is it’
I roll over to see what the time it is
‘Holy crap its twelve o’clock already… I’ve really slept in I better get things prepared for tonight
I begin to prepare for tonight. It takes me five and a half hours to get home
‘I hope see likes what I have planned for tonight… Well I better go have a shower’
As I finish up in the shower I head to my bed room
‘were is that colon I bought back on earth’
I hunt for the colon furiously, throwing clothes everywhere
‘Were is the damn thing… wait I think I put it in the bathroom so I wouldn’t forget about itI head for the bathroom and notice it sitting next to the sink
‘Agh this will do nicely’ I think to myself as I’m putting it on
‘Ok what time is it?’
I head down stairs to check what time it is
‘I better head over to Rarity’s its already five to six’
I run over to Rarity’s and knock on her door
“Hey Shadow” said Rarity opening the door
“Wow Rarity you look….. Amazing” I said looking at Rarity wearing a white and blue dress
“Thanks Shadow I’ve been creating this dress for a while know”
“It’s awesome” I said shocked at the sight of Rarity
“They don’t call me the most fashionable Pony in all PonyVille for nothing” giggles “So… where are you taking me this fine night”
“It’s a surprise” I said still shocked at the sight of a Rarity “Are you ready to go”
“Sure am...Let’s get going”
We begin to walk to the restaurant
“So Rarity… how have you been?”
“Fine… just spent a day with Fluttershy down at the Spa”
“I thought Fluttershy wouldn’t be into to that stuff”
“Not at all… We go to the Spa at least once a week”
“And I thought you didn’t need to go to the spa”
“Whatever do you mean Shadow”
“Someone as beautiful as you doesn’t need to go to the Spa a lot”
“Oh… Shadow you know how to make a filly feel special
“Well…..” I said as we arrive at Pony La Graze “were here now”
“OH Shadow how did you now I like this place”
“Let’s just said I know a lot of thing”
“Welcome Sir Shadow… and how might your lovely lady here be” said the white pony with black hair wearing a white tuxedo
“Hey Al… This is my date for this evening Rarity”
“Nice to meet you Rarity”
“Nice to meet you as well” Said Rarity
“Well Shadow we have booked you a table over there in the corner next to the windows… bests seats in this restaurant”
“Thank you Al”
Rarity and I head to the table in the Corner.
“Here you go Rarity” I said pulling out the chair for her to sit on
“Oh thankyou Shadow”
“No worries” I said with a Smile
“Well how do you know the owner of Pony La Graze?”
“Well long story short I saved his daughter from some bullies”
“Wow Shadow I swear you have a thing for saving people”
“Hey I’m just a nice guy”
“Yep”
“Any other surprises you got hide under your sleeves”
“You’ll find out later tonight”

We all head to the oval where Dash and I were going to begin training for the competition

I begin to run around in circles until the vortex begins to start up

Dash began to race down from the sky into the middle of the vortex for the finale the Sonic Rainboom.

The next thing I know a sudden burst of rainbow collides into the centre of the vortex and sends the vortex flying out into a red and black rainbow with the colours of the rainbow sparkling from behind. The only disappointment was the cloud of smoke left form the collision and 9 could also feel something on top of me.
“HAHAHAHA… that was awesome” said Rainbow Dash while sitting on top of me
“Sure was” I said coughing “He Dash you don’t mind hoping off me for a sec… kinda sitting on my ribs?”

It was a long fly home with everything about Dash and Rarity running through my head.
I finally walk inside….that’s when I’m greeted by a stunning white pony.
“Hey Rarity” I said softly
“Hey Shadow… what’s wrong”
“Nothing’s wrong I just need to be alone for now… I’ve got too much to deal with for now” I said walking up stairs to go to bed
“Maybe I could help with your endeavours” Rarity said following me to my room
“I’m sorry but that would be impossible”
“Why… Shadow… Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts… about us” Rarity said trying not to cry
“No of course not… I… I… I just can’t explain”
“You can tell me anything Shadow… please tell me”
“I’m sorry Rarity but I just can’t” I said turning away from her
“But… But… Shadow”
“Rarity there’s nothing you can do so please just leave”
“Shadow” Said Rarity releasing a few tears
“Just go” I yell at Rarity
“Just go” I said a bit softer
“Please Just go” I said beginning to cry
“Shadow” Cried Rarity
I sit there at the end of my bed trying to figure this all out. If I should break up with Rarity and go out with Dash or Stay with Rarity and ditch Dash.
I sit there for another thirty minutes thinking about what to do…
‘Maybe I could leave PonyVille for a couple of days…spend some time to get this through my head’ I think to myself
I pack a few things for a couple of days and begin to head out to find somewhere to stay.
As I was leaving Rarity stops me dead in my tracks
“Shadow…what are you doing” she cried
“I’m gonna leaving PonyVille for a couple days” I said softly
“Why… What’s happened that’s so bad that you need to leave?”
“Nothing you need to worry about”
“Yes I do… cause your leaving and I don’t know what for”
“I’ll be back in a couple of days from now”
“But what about me… what about the competition… what about the Gala”
“I’ll be back before the Gala don’t worry… but maybe not before the competition… I’m not sure yet”
“Shadow… Please just stay… we can work this out together”
“I’m sorry I just… just can’t… I’m sorry” I said about to walk of
“Shadow if you leave… don’t bother coming back to see me again” Rarity cried, “please just tell me what’s going on”
“Fine….Could we talk inside” I said giving up the fight
“Sure”
We walk inside and Rarity turns to me
“Shadow what’s wrong”
“I’ve got something to said that you might not like”
“Just tell me Shadow” She said while crying
“Well…..Um…. Today during practice with Dash um…. Well after I took Sweetie belle home” I said nervously
“Well she kinda” I said looking into her eyes, “kissed me…and I’m not sure how I feel about it”
“Shadow….In other words…you’re having second thoughts about us”

“Well Shadow I think me and you….should…have sometime away…from each other” said Rarity softly
“I understand”
“I’m going to go now… I’ll see you around”

“Don’t be Shadow… It’s my fault for falling in love with a human” Cried Rarity as she leaves out the front door
“Fuuuccckkkk” I screamed, “Why does this have to happen to me….I never did anything wrong why me”
I pick my bag up and begin to leave PonyVille
I walk for a couple of hours until I reach a hotel out of PonyVille
“Hello how may we help you today?” said the receptionist
“I was wondering if I could stay for a couple of days”
“Sure…How long exactly”
It’s been a couple of days since Left PonyVille… and I still can’t figure out how I feel about Dash and Rarity until I hear a loud to a loud bang on the door
“Ha… hold on I’m coming”
I open the door to a white pony wearing a black tuxedo
“Al… what are you doing here?”
“I heard you were staying here so I thought I’ll come said hello”
“How did you find out I was here?”
“I own this Hotel and I saw your name on the register so I came up” said Al with a big smile “So where’s that beautiful girlfriend of yours”
“Agh well… She’s in PonyVille it’s just me here”
“Why would you come here by yourself?” asked Al curiously
“Well I’m kind of a predicament”
“What kind of predicament”
“Well Rarity and I were going out and now another filly named Rainbow Dash”
“Agh Rainbow Dash the fastest Pony in all PonyVille” Al butted in
“Well Dash kind of kissed me and I don’t know how I feel about her”
“Well Shadow you have defiantly got yourself in a sticky situation…but I think old Al will be able to help you”

“I’m going to help you decide”
“How” I said questionably
“Well why do you like Rarity?”
“Well…She funny…Elegant…Cute…She loves to have fun… She helped me around PonyVille numerous times”
“And why do you like Dash?”
“Well… I dunno why… just hit me when she kissed me”
“Well I think you should stick with Rarity”
“Why?”
“For the reasons you said”
“But what about Dash”
“Something tells me that someone will sweep Dash away… I think it was some guy called Twix… I’m not sure”
“So how am I going to fix things with Rarity then?”
“I dunno that’s for you to figure out by yourself…All I’ve gotta said I hope you both get back together if not you have Dash” Said Al before heading for the front door, “Well I see you around Shadow…Good Luck”

‘Now how do I get Rarity to take me back’ I think to myself
I sit down and go over Ideas in my head until it finally hits me.
‘Oh god it’s the Gala today...I better get going’
I then quickly jump out of the chair grab my jacket and race to the Gala
“I’m not sure…maybe three days”
“Alright your room is no.12 on the second floor”
“Thanks”
I head up to the second floor… open the door… and dump my bags down near the door and head to bed to sleep

‘I hope this plan works…I really hope it does’

With that thought in mind I start to run faster and faster
‘I see the gala’
I quickly race through the entrance until I’m stopped by the royal guards
“Sir you must have a pass to enter the premises”
“But I must get in my girlfriends in there”
“Sir if you don’t have a pass you can’t enter”
I quickly check my pockets to see if I have anything to bribe them with…and that’s when I find it
“Thank god Rarity didn’t take it out” I said pulling out the pass
“Thank you sir… you may now enter”
I quickly race inside searching for Rarity high and low
“Rarity….Rarity where are you” I yell while frantically searching
“Shadow what’s wrong” said a purple Unicorn
“Twilight do you know where Rarity is”
“The last time I saw her was with Prince Blueblood in the main hall”
“Thank you Twilight I owe you so much” I said while running off
‘Crap, she’s with Prince Blueblood…now what am I going to do’ I think to myself
‘I have an idea’ I think to myself
I quickly race to the stage and ask the band if they could play a song for me
“Hmmm… Um Hi ugh I’m wrote this song for a special girl out there….I’m not sure if she’s here but this is how it goes” I said nervously through the mic, “Rarity this one’s for you…Hit it”

I see Rarity standing near the end of the room talking to Prince Blueblood
‘I must have been too late’ I think to myself until I notice her running to the stage
“Rarity I’m so sorry for what has happened... it was my entire fault” I said to Rarity as she walks on stage
“Shadow…That was… That was the most romantic thing anyone’s done for me” Rarity said with a couple of tears in her eyes
“I don’t think that is the most romantic thing” I said while getting down on one hoof into the microphone, “Rarity will you marry me”
“Oh my god Shadow” Rarity cried,
“So what do you said” I said hoping she said yes
“Yes… Yes I will” Rarity said as she runs over and kisses me
“She said yes” I said into the microphone and all of a sudden the crowd cheers
“Shadow how about we both get out of here”
“Sure Thing” I said as I pick Rarity up in my arms
We fly back to Rarity’s boutique store
“So what made you change your mind about us Shadow?”
“Well a talk to a friend of mine” I said smiling at Rarity.
“But what about Rainbow Dash”
“How about we forget Rainbow Dash for now…Tonight’s about us”
“Yeah…how about we go upstairs and make up for the last couple of days”
“Just what I was thinking” I said as me and Rarity head up stairs
“So Rarity…I got to ask why you didn’t stay with Prince Bluebl…” I said before Rarity puts her hoof against my lips
“We’ll talk about it tomorrow” said Rarity softly, “But for now how about you get on the bed”
“Don’t have to said that twice” I said quickly jumping on to the bed
“Ah good morning Shadow” Said the perky pony sitting on top of me
“Good morning Rarity” I said before kissing her
“What you wanna do today?”
“Well I’ve got to talk to Dash today…but after that I’m free”
“How about we meet up for lunch today”
“That sounds good” I said kissing Rarity
“Well I better get going…But what time is it”
“It’s…nine o’clock”
“Yeah I better get going…it takes a while to fly to Dash’s house”
“You sure you don’t wanna join me in the shower first” said Rarity looking at me sexily

After me and Rarity had some fun in the shower I headed out to Cloudsdale to see Rainbow Dash
“Hey Dash, are you home” I yelled knocking on her door
“Shadow!” Screamed the cyan pony throwing her arms around me, “I’m so sorry about what happened that day but I hope we can still be friends”
“Of course we can Dash” I smile
“Oh come in Shadow”
“Thanks”
“Congratulations on your engagement to Rarity”
“Thanks…How you here about that”
“I still went to the gala even though I didn’t have a dress”
“Why didn’t you have a dress?”
“I couldn’t bear to see Rarity…I still don’t wanna see her I think she will bite my head off”
“Come on Dash, you should know Rarity well enough to talk to her about what happened”
“Yeah I will one day…but not yet”
“How about you come with me to see Rarity and sort it out between you two”
“You sure she won’t bite my head off”
“I’m sure she won’t…she’s the one that sent me here to sort things out between us” I said with a smile, “So I’m sending you to sort things out between you two”
“Fine…I’ll go” Dash said with a big sigh
“That’s the spirit” I laugh
“You better be coming with me”
“Yeah I’ll be there”
“Well let’s get this over and done with”
Dash and I fly back to Rarity’s, Dash barely said anything on the flight here you couldn’t even hear her breath
“Well, you ready Dash”
“Not really,” Dash whispered.
“Well no time like the present” I said knocking on the door
“Come in we’re open” Said Rarity opening the door, “Oh Shadow and… Dash”
“Hey how’s it going?”
“Good…I’m kind off busy at the moment can you come back later today” said Rarity trying to avoid talking to Dash.
“Come on Rarity you always got time for the Shadow” I said joking around
“I’m sorry Shadow… Fluttershy and I are preparing a dress for a client that’s coming tomorrow….and I don’t have time for any distractions” said Rarity
“You will only take a minute…Me and her can go for a walk and get to know each other better,” I said nodding towards Fluttershy who walked up behind Rarity seeing who was at the door.
“I don’t mind going for a walk…I need some fresh air after the last dress” said Fluttershy softly
“Well we leave you both to it then” I said smiling
“Shall we” I said opening the door further for Fluttershy
“Thanks…” Said Fluttershy trying to remember my name.
“The names Shadow” I said with a cheesy smile.

“Well…How about the Pony Spa” Fluttershy says softly
“Alright I’m all good with that”
We leave to the pony spa…once we get there we are greeted by the spa ponies
“Welcome to the day spa…How can we help you today” says one of the spa ponies
“Um…well…the usual please” stutters Fluttershy
“Alright this why please Fluttershy and…”
“Shadow” I say
“Right this way then please” says the other spa pony, “May I ask were lady Rarity is”
“She’s at home” I say, “She has some business to attend to so I thought I would come with Fluttershy to keep her some company”
“Well that’s nice of you…we never really have many colt customers these days”
“Hmmm….I Think I could guess why”
We reach the mud bath area
“Well I hope you enjoy your time here”
“Hmm, so do I”
I begin to sit down in the mud bath
“Oh that’s warm” I say
I think about talking to Fluttershy but I end up releasing she probably want’s some peace and quiet.
“Hey Shadow” says a soft voice next to me
“Yeah Fluttershy”
“I was wondering…no don’t worry its silly”
“What do you want Fluttershy”
“I was wondering if um….um…. If im Rarity’s bridesmaid”
“You don’t have to ask me that…If Rarity’s asked you its fine by me”
“Im glad you think so”
“So how you find out about the Wedding”
“I saw your performance at the gala”
“Everypony around PonyVille saw it…haven’t they”
“I guess so”
I look up and see Fluttershy leaving the mud bath
“Is it time to leave”
“Yeah I usually stay in for a couple minutes or it ruins my coat” says Fluttershy
“Yeah I should get out then or all I will hear from Rarity is what happened to your coat” I say hoping out the mud bath.
I head to the showers in the colt’s bathroom, and after a long hot shower I leave seeing Fluttershy waiting for me.
“You didn’t have to wait for me Fluttershy”
“Oh…Um…well this morning has been fun Shadow…but I might need to get back to my cottage and feed the animals”
“Yeah no problem…This morning has been fun and different, defiantly something I’ve never done before”
“Well I hope you enjoyed it”
“Sure did…Well I don’t wanna keep you back any longer you got animals to feed”
“Yeah, well see ya Shadow…Say bye to Rarity for me” Says Fluttershy flying off home

I leave the pony spa and head down the road to Rarity’s place, taking my time just in case they are still working things out, I reach Rarity’s store and I walk in revealing Dash and Rarity giggling like two school girls.
“Well I guess all is well again” I say with a smile
“Sure is, me and Dash could never stay mad at each other after all we’ve been through” giggles Rarity
“I’m glad to hear it, now if you would excuse me Dash…Me and Rarity have a lunch date”
“Yeah I’ve got to get going anyway…I’ll see both you guys later” says Dash leaving the store
“So mister Shadow we could go for lunch or… we could stay here and have some fun and go out for dinner at the club down the main street of PonyVille”
“I like the second idea” I say with a big smile, “But I thought you didn’t go to night clubs”
“Never hurts to try…and I heard it was open mic night…So I thought you could play for us all there tonight”
“Yeah that’s sounds like fun…” I say picking Rarity up in my forelegs
“Ohhh” giggles Rarity
“But to the bedroom…we must” I say dashing to the bedroom
After Rarity and I have some mischievous fun in the bedroom, we head to the nightclub located on the PonyVille strip.
The club was easily noticeable due to large neon blue lights decorated around the roof, the large red sign saying “Planet Pony” and DaRude Sandstorm playing loudly inside anyone outside could hear it
“Hello Sir and Lady Rarity…May I have some ID please”
“Uuuhhh” I stutter
“Here’s are ID sir” says Rarity holding out both our ID’s
“Alright you’re free to go in”
“Thanks…How’s your sister by the way”
“She’s fine…She really loved that wedding dress you made her…She really wants to catch up sometime”
“Tell her t pop by the store and we can catch up” Says Rarity heading into the club
“Will do Lady Rarity” says the bouncer
“ID Please” I hear the bouncer say to the next in line
“So I guess you meet all kinds of people through your work” I say
“Sure do the funniest person I’ve ever met was a transsexual donkey”
“Damn that must have been fun” I giggle, “by the way how did you get the ID’s”
“Well I’ve always had mine… and twilight stopped by while Dash and I were working our problem out and I asked if she could get one for you”
“Well Thanks…I guess it was time I got one of them now” I say opening the club doors
As soon as I opened the doors to the main dance floor, the sound of DaRude been played on the DJ decks by Vinyl Scratch was amazing. The whole room was jumping to the beat as Vinyl Scratch displayed her DJ skills.
“I thought this was open mic night” I say to Rarity
“It is at 9:30…So we have a couple hours to wait yet”
“Oh okay”
“Let’s Dance” says Rarity grabbing my hoof
Rarity and I make are way on to the dance floor and I suddenly relies I don’t know how to dance…Well not as a pony anyway
“Hey Rarity I think this is a good time to bring this up…but I don’t know how to dance”
“Well I guess that’s another thing I’ll have to teach you” says Rarity with a seductive grin, “Here place your hoofs on my hips”
All of a sudden Vinyl Scratch starts playing a slow and smooth song
“Well I guess that was good timing” I smile
We begin to sway to the beat of the music
“Rarity you look really beautiful tonight” I whisper softly into Rarity’s ear
“Oh thanks Shadow” Blushes Rarity
“I also probably don’t say this enough Rarity, but I love you with all my heart”
“I love you to Shadow” Says Rarity as she nuzzles her head into my chest, “You know Shadow you’re the only Gentlecolt I ever had as a boyfriend”
“Wow I thought a beautiful Unicorn like you would have had lots of boyfriends by now”
“I have had a couple of suitors but…well none of them have had what I’ve been looking for in a man” shyly whispers Rarity
“Do I have what you’re looking for in a gentlecolt” I whisper
“Maybe” Jokes Rarity
“Oh that’s how you’re going to be” I say pulling Rarity closer to my body
“Yep" says Rarity as she throws her forelegs around my neck
“Well, I guess I’ll have to do something about that” I say dipping Rarity on her back while holding her in my arms
“And what are you going to do” giggles Rarity
“Wait and see” I say kissing Rarity
Rarity’s forelegs loosen of my neck and dangle down her side.
I bring Rarity back up on to her feet and she still has her eyes closed
“Oh Shadow…That’s exactly how I thought that would feel” whispers Rarity
I look around and notice a couple of pony’s staring at me and Rarity
“Hey Rarity don’t look…but I think some people are staring” I whisper into Rarity’s ear
“Let them look” says Rarity before planting her lips against mine
Me and Rarity kept on kissing until we were interrupted by somepony
“Um…Hi…Rarity…and…Shadow” says Fluttershy, “Im…um…sorry for…interrupting”
“Don’t be silly Fluttershy you’re not interrupting” says Rarity
“Oh…um…good”
“Hey Fluttershy what are you doing here” I say confused with Fluttershy being at a night club
“Um…Rarity invited me”
“I invited Fluttershy and the others” says Rarity with a cheeky smile
“The others?” I say
“Yeah the others you know Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Applejack”
“Why did you invite them” I say still confused
“So they could see you perform” smiles Rarity, “You can’t have your first live performance without your friends to support you”
“I guess” I say seeing Twilight, Applejack trot in with Pinkie pie bouncing behind them
“I hope you don’t mind Shadow”
“Not at all, But are you sure Pinkie Pie’s old enough to be here?” I joke
“Yeah she is…Well I hope she is” Laughs Rarity
“Hey Shadow” Says Twilight
“Hey Twilight hows it going”
“Pretty good…I was wondering if we could talk about something rather important
“Could it wait I don’t want anything to ruin today”
“Yeah I guess I can pop by your place tomorrow”
“Sweet, thank you”
“So Shadow I heard you’re performing tonight”
“Yeah I am”
“Is it going to be anything like the gala?”
“You’ve seen that as well” I say embarrassed
“It’s the talk of the town and canterlot, Pony performs on stage for Girlfriend before asking her to marry him”
The music fades in the background at the end of the song and Vinyl Scratch announces the open mic night
“Well I’m glad you liked it” I laugh “but I better be getting back to rarity

“Well, you ready Shadow” says Rarity
“Kind off, just a little nervous”

“Oh yeah well then you wait till im up on stage” I smile, “Well at least im not first”
“Um…well” says Rarity
“Don’t tell me im going first” I say with my smile fading away

“Well anything else I should know before I perform”
“Your guitar is backstage waiting for you”
A pony dressed in black clothes like a ninja walks up to me to inform me that I will be performing first tonight and there is some forms and equipment that needs to be filled out and set up
“Well I’ll see you later” I say kissing Rarity on the forehead
“Good luck Shadow”
“Wish me luck you guys” I say
“Good luck Shadow” says Twilight
“Have fun” says Fluttershy
“Go tear it up, up there” says a voice behind me
I turn around to see Rainbow Dash smiling
“I thought you weren’t coming tonight”
“I was but I thought I can’t miss a good friend perform on stage”
“Well I’m glad you made it… I see ya in a bit”
“Sure”
I see Vinyl Scratch walk up to the mic to announce who will be going first
“Ok…The first performance tonight is being performed by a Pony many people have come to know for his performance at the gala, and if you don’t know who im talking about he can be seen on pony tube doing his thing, So every pony give it up for our main man Shadow”
I hear the crowed turn into a roar as I step on stage there was a drummer dressed in black with a bassist standing alongside him and another guitarist standing on the far side of me. I had my guitar in one hoof and my lucky guitar pick in the other hoof.
“Hi, Im Shadow and this song is called “Almost Easy”
I began to strum the guitar hitting each note with perfect timing, As I began to sing the first verse of the song I could see Rarity with the biggest smile on her face
I finally had reached the solo of the song and I jumped down from the stage and began to play the most amazing solo anyone has ever heard
I hear the crowd cheer as soon as I finish playing “Almost easy” by Avenged Sevenfold and I notice Vinyl Scratch walking up to me as I head off stage
“Hey that was amazing, have you ever thought of having a career in the music biz” says Vinyl Scratch
“Yeah I have but never had the time t peruse it, cause im kind off new to equestria”
“Well, Shadow that was amazing…you got the crowed pumping and I could feel your energy up there on stage as you strummed that guitar”
“Glad you liked it”
“Yeah it was amazing” Smiles Vinyl Scratch, “Well I better get the other act underway…I’ll see you around Shadow”
“Yeah…I’ll see you around Vinyl Scratch”
“Bye” says Vinyl Scratch as she walks off to announce the next act
“OH MY GOD SHADOW” Screams Rarity, “That was astonishing, I especially liked it when you did that amazing guitar solo”
“Yeah Shadow that was Awesome, You just made that song about 20 precent cooler with that epic guitar solo”
“Well im glad you all liked it” I smiled, “but I think it’s time to go home if you don’t mind guys, Im pretty tired after that performance”
“Yeah sure” says Twilight, “But remember we need to talk tomorrow”

We leave the club and wave good bye to our other friends.

“Are you sure?” questions Rarity, “you sure I won’t hurt you”
“I’ve already carried you on our first date”
“Yeah but i feel as I’ve gotten a bit fatter since then” says Rarity
“I should probably go on a diet” mutters Rarity
“Don’t be silly Rarity, You don’t need to go on a diet your beautiful the way you are” I smile, “So how about it, you keen to be flown home”
“Sure” giggles Rarity
Rarity jumps on my back and holds on for dear life
“I see you still scared of being flown around”
“Im not Scared” yells Rarity
“ok im sorry” I laugh
Rarity begins to loosen up on nuzzles her face in between my mane
“You getting comfy back there”
I didn’t get any reply from Rarity
“You right back there Rarity” I say curiously
I then hear Rarity give a little moan as she nuzzles her head further into my mane
‘I guess someone’s tired’ I think to myself
We finally reach Rarity’s house and I carry her upstairs and place her down on her pink fluffy bed
“Goodnight Rarity” I say before kissing her on the forehead and pulling the blanket over her body
“Don’t go Shadow” softly says Rarity, “stay here with me again tonight”
“Alright I’ll stay” I say trotting over to her bed
I get in and cuddle up against Rarity

“I Love you to Rarity” I say as I kiss her shoulder
We slow drift off to sleep while cuddling each other tightly on the bed

I awake to noises coming from the bathroom
“Are you Alright Rarity” I say tiredly
“Yeah im okay I guess it’s just morning sickness” moans Rarity
“You sure, how long have you been like this?” I ask
“a couple of days now”
“Rarity I think you should go and see a doctor”
“Na I’ll be alright in a minute”
“Rarity im not asking if you want to, Im saying you have to”
“Fine I’ll go and see the doctor, but let me get ready first”
“I don’t think the doctor is going to care how pretty you look” I laugh
“I need a shower first anyway” giggles Rarity
As Rarity heads to the shower I hear a knocking at Rarity’s front door
“Ill get it” I say rushing down stairs, “Hold on I’ll be there in a minute”
I open the door to a purple pony
“Twilight Sparkle you wanted to see me if I’m correct”
“Yes I did, may I come in”
“Sure”
“Thanks”
“So what exactly did you wanna see me for?”
“First is Rarity here”
“Yeah but she’s having a shower, so Celestia knows how long she’ll be”
“Okay good, I’ve got some very important new for you, You know when you came to see me last about going back to earth for the first time and I found out you were a human, Well ever since then Princess Celestia, Doctor hooves and I have been working on a device that could send you back home, but the only catch is you can’t come back”
“Well that’s great news, but I understand why you don’t want Rarity to hear this” I say thinking should I be overwhelmed or sad, “If I tell her she’s going to be gutted”
“I know but it’s better to tell her first off before you drag the problem out long enough before it blows up in your face” comforts Twilight
“I know but she’s so happy now about the wedding and all”
“I know Shadow, there is still some time before the device is full complete and operational…So you have some time before you need to make a decision”
“Yeah thanks Twilight”
“Hey Shadow, who are you talking to?” yells Rarity from upstairs
“Im talking to Twilight” I yell back
“Hey Rarity…I was just going you two have fun know” says Twilight awkwardly before bolting out the store
“What was that about” asks Rarity
“Nothing to worry about now” I say, “we better get you to the doctor”
“Do we have to im feeling better now, I’m only feeling abit blotted that’s all”
“Come on Rarity I’ll fly you”
We begin to fly to doctor Hoofman’s clinic, we enter the clinic and are greeted by a cheery receptionist.
“Hello how my I help you today”
“I was wondering if it was allright if my girlfriend could see the doctor”
“Yeah sure, she will just need to fill this fo…Oh it’s you Rarity, I see you have finally found yourself a gentlecolt”
“Yeah I have and he’s amazing….Is it alright to see Dr.Hoofman to put my boyfriend’s paranoia to rest” giggles Rarity
“Sure the doctor will be with you in a minute”
We wait for roughly two minutes before the Doctor comes out for Rarity
“Lady Rarity” announces the Doctor
“Yes”
“Will you come with me please?”
We follow the doctor into his office and I sit down in a chair next to Rarity facing Dr.Hoofman
“So Rarity what brings you here today?”
“Well my paranoid boyfriend wants you to check why I’ve been feeling sick a lot lately”
“Hmm how long have you been feeling sick now Rarity?” Asks Dr.Hoofman
“Two or three days” replies Rarity
“Any other symptoms you have noticed”
“I’ve been feeling really dizzy at work and I have a very sore back which could be from something else”
“How about we take a blood sample and see what is wrong with you”
The doctor pulls out a syringe from his utility belt and draws some blood from Rarity’s foreleg
“Alright this will take a couple of minutes to inform us about what’s going on with you”
We sit around at the doctor’s office in a awkward silence until the nurse comes in with the test results
“I have your test results here…and it says” Says Dr.Hoofman sounding like a contest judge, “Okay the test results say…Hmm…You probably not going to believe this, but let me be the first to congratulate you on your first foal because you are four days along in pregnancy
“OH MY GOD” I gasp
“Where having a foal” Yells Rarity
“I can’t believe it” I say in shock
“Are you sure doctor” says Rarity trying to hold back the excitement and be lady like
“I am entirely sure we ran a couple of tests to make sure it was true information” smiles Dr.Hoofman
“Shadow can you believe it where going to be having a foal” says Rarity turning to me with a massive smile and still trying to cope with the shock
“I know I can’t believe it ether… where having a foal” I say jumping out of my chair in joy
“Where having a foal” says Rarity before giving a massive huge
“Well thank you so much Doctor” I say with a cheesy smile
“Don’t thank me…you guys did all the work, metaphorically speaking”
“Well without you doc, we would haven’t known for weeks”
“Well im glad to help, Well you kids better get going I have another patient waiting for me outside”
“Oh yeah Sure, Rarity lets go back home”
“Sure”
I help Rarity out of her chair and smile still surprised that im about to be a father
“Hey Rarity I’ll fly you back home to save you having to walk” I say with a grin
“Na I’ll be right Shadow, but thanks for the offer”
“No worries”

As soon as Rarity and I reach her place we are greeted joyfully by a pink pony
“Hey Rarity, Hey Shadow”
“Hi Pinkie pie” says Rarity
“Sup pinkie” I say
“Nothing much, but I forgot all about having a welcome party for you because I didn’t know where you lived” smiles pinkie pie,
“But since I do know…Surprise” says pinkie opening the front door
Inside Rarity’s boutique store laid ribbons, streamers and a giant sign saying “Surprise”, and Vinyl Scratch was there pumping out the beats for everypony
“Wow, Thanks Pinkie pie…how you get everyone here”
“Well, I organized the party last night…now let’s paaarttyyy”
As if on cue Vinyl Scratch blasted the music even louder as the bass drop hit
“Hey Rarity, did you know about this”
“Nope, I had no idea about Pinkie throwing a party”
“Well I guess it’s time to…Parrrrtyyyy” I say before joining the crowed that was dancing To Vinyl Scratch rocking the Spin Decks
I continue rocking out to the bass and I see Rarity sitting on her own
“Hey Rarity, What’s wrong” I say loudly so she could hear me over the speakers
“OH Shadow, Nothings wrong” Sighs Rarity
“Come on Rarity I can tell when something’s wrong”
“Well…Since were having this foul, I’ve been thinking since you’re a human and im a unicorn, wont are baby be kind off…well…Unique”
“Rarity there’s going to be nothing wrong with our baby Rare, If anything he’s going to be our son or daughter cause im a Pegasus and you’re a Unicorn” I comfort Rarity
“Another thing what about when you have to go back home, back to earth”
“How did you know about that” I say in surprise
“I overheard you and Twilight, but still what about then…Im going to be the one to look after the young fool and you wont be here to help me” Says Rarity holding back tear
“Rarity, Im never going to leave you…I promise I’ll never leave…I will never leave you or our baby until the day I die” I say looking directly in Rarity’s eyes
“Well I guess we will see when the time comes” says Rarity, “I’m Going to go up stairs where its much more quieter”
“I’ll Come with you” I say hastily
“No you stay down here…Pinkie Pie throw this party for you, so enjoy it”
“I watch as Rarity heads upstairs and I turn around to see a pink pony standing right behind me
“Congratulations Shadow”
“For What” I say confused
“Don’t be silly Shadow, Congratulations on your first foul” Pinkie Pie Screams
I felt like everyone’s eyes were looking directly at me
“Thanks Pinkie pie” I say with a grin
All of a sudden Rainbow Dash gives me a giant hug

“Don’t thank me” Smiles Dash, “Your having your own foul…Next thing you know in a couple of weeks you’ll have a little foul running around”

“You have any names for the baby yet”
“Not yet we kind off only found out about it today” I smile
“Oh okay well congrats Shadow”

“No problem, I’ll see you later tonight”
“Yeah sure…Excuse me pinkie” I say heading towards the staircase
I walk into Rarity’s Bedroom and I notice her snugged up in bed
“Hey what you doing” I say sitting down next to her
“Nothing” sobs Rarity
“Hey what’s wrong Rare?”
“Nothing Shadow”
“Come on Rare, You can tell me”
“Um…Well I was thinking about before” Sniffles rarity as she sits up in bed, “Whether we like it or not… you’re going to have to go back to your planet earth…and Whether we like it or not we probably will never see each other again when that happens”
“Rarity, There will never be away to stop me from stopping me seeing you whether im here in PonyVille or im back on earth, I will always be around even if it doesn’t look like it…Ill always be here” I say pointing at her heart
“And you’ll always be here” I say pointing at mine
“But what about when are baby arrives how am I going to look after him when you’re gone” sniffles Rarity
“You have many amazing friends here to look after the baby, you have seen how Fluttershy is with kids and there’s always Dash”
“I don’t think Dash will be able to help” giggles Rarity
“Yeah I kind of realised that after I said it” I giggle
“So how about we get out of bed and enjoy the party down stairs” I smile
“Alright…I’ll get out of bed, But on one condition”

“When you go back to earth…Never…I mean never forget your family waiting here in PonyVille”

“Oh by the way pinkie pie overheard us talking before and everypony kind of knows were having a baby”

We head down stairs back to the roaring Party
“Everypony Give special congratulations to my man Shadow and the Fashionesta Rarity for their having their first foul” Announces Vinyl Scratch
The crowed faces Rarity and me and begins to cheer and clap
“Thanks everypony how about we get this Party poppin” I yell
“Let’s get it poppin” giggles Rarity
“Yeah I know how stupid it sounds but I’ve always wanted to say it”
“Hey Shadow” says a white pony wearing blue tinted glasses
“Hey what’s up Vinyl Scratch?”
“Hey, you can call Vinyl by the way”
“Ok Vinyl”
“Anyway I was wondering if you wanted to sing a song her on the stage”
“What tonight?”
“Yeah tonight, you were amazing last night your energy and charisma last night was electric”
“Im not sure”
“Come on Shadow” says Rarity, “I wanna hear you sing”
“Fine I’ll do it but I wanna sing this song”
“Alright we can do that”
I head up stage in front of the crowd in Rarity’s store
“Ponies of PonyVille Tonight we have another rising star in the music industry, He sang at the gala to a beautiful and the most fashionable pony in PonyVille Rarity and if anyone was at the nightclub last night you would have seen him in action rocking out a song by Avenged Sevenfold…And to perform for us tonight, Here is Shadow” Announces Vinyl

I finish the song and the crowd begins to cheer within the cheers I could hear a pony begin chanting my name, as the one pony chanted the rest began to follow chanting “Shadow” louder and Louder, as the chanting become to loud Vinyl walked on stage and started calming the crowed down
“Everypony wasn’t that an amazing show of Shadows ability to sing” Says Vinyl, “Now how about we get the party back to some tasty beats”
I walk off stage as soon as Vinyl starts playing some more techno/Dub step
“Hey Shadow that was Amazing”
“Thanks”
“Hey Shadow I was wondering…How about we hang out some time”
“You sure, you must be a busy pony with all the DJ shows you got going on”
“Yeah but that’s only ever at night im always free in the morning and afternoon”
“Alright then that sounds good”
“Cool…I guess I’ll see you later” says Vinyl with a Smirk while walking back to her decks
I turn around and im suddenly hugged by another beautiful white pony
“Shadow your always amazing on stage…I also love that song you sang”
“Yeah it’s one of my favorite songs in the world by my favorite band of all time Hollywood Undead”
“Well that was extraordinary”
“Thanks Rarity” I say with a smile, “By the way I was wondering….Since your my fiancé how about we get married soon in a week or two”
“How about we talk about this tomorrow, when there’s not fifty million screaming ponies around”
“Okay I’ll b holding you to that” I smile
The party goes on for a while with Vinyl banging out beat after beat on her decks; the ponies watching were jumping to the beat, even a moss pit was forming in front of the stage she stood on.
The night finally came to a standstill when Vinyl started to play her last song and most of the other ponies had left because they were too tired to stay or had work early in the morning, Vinyl began to pack her equipment with the last of the ponies leaving Rarity’s store.
“Well I better get going” says Vinyl, “I had fun playing here tonight”
“Yeah you can thank Pinkie Pie for throwing the party” I grin
“Well I’ll see you around Shadow”
“Yeah bye”
“Oh say good bye to Rarity for me”
“Will do”
I close the door and head upstairs to bed were rarity has been for the last couple of hours, I hope in bed and Rarity rolls over and begins to snuggle the right side of me. I kiss Rarity on the head and drift off to sleep.

I awake to noises from downstairs
“Hey Rarity, What you doing” I say walking downstairs
“Shadow…Someone has to clean up this dreadful mess left over from last night’s party”
“Oh yeah I forgot about that, Here I’ll help”
“I pick up the broom while standing on my hind legs and sweep up the cups, streamers and deflated balloons into a pile in the middle of the floor, while Rarity uses her magic to levitate her manikins and clothes back to where they belong from a nearby cupboard.
“Darling let me get rid of that” says Rarity levitating the junk pile to a nearby bin outside, “Agh that’s better all nice and clean, now for breakfast”
I watch as Rarity trots of to the kitchen to make some breakfast
“You’re calling me Darling now” I giggle
“And you’re calling me Rare now” smiles Rarity
“Toshay”
“So what you want for breakfast Darling?”
“I’m not that hungry Rarity”
“You sure”
“Yeah I had a lot to eat last night during the party”
“Okay”
“So Rarity I was wondering if we could talk about the wedding” I say sitting down at the table
“Uh yes, I love to talk about it I have so many ideas for the wedding” says Rarity jumping in excitement

“I bet a beautiful and sophisticated pony as your self has had this already planned out for when you met the gentlecolt of your dreams” I laugh again
“So it’s not a crime to have it all planned out”
“Well what have you planned then” I say hoping I don’t regret it
“Wait here for a sec” says Rarity rushing off to another room.
I wait for a couple of second until Rarity returns back with a gigantic book labeled Wedding Ideas
“Well I see you definitely been waiting for this day” I say in shock of the enormous book
“Only bits and pieces for wedding dresses and weddings if been to or seen”
“You must have been gathering this up since you were little” I say flipping through some of the pages
“Here this is my favorite dress out of them all” says Rarity snatching the book from my hooves and flipping half way through the book
She shows me a picture of a silky white dress embedded with diamonds along the bottom and the waist; it had an open cut design showing the blue fur of the model modeling the dress and a tiara that sat firmly on the models head embedded with sapphires, rubies and diamonds.
“Wow that’s one stunning dress it looks like something you have made”
“It’s not…I wish I did make such a stunning dress but sadly a pony in New Yorke by the name of Alexia Jordson made it”
“And im guessing you want to have this dress for the wedding”
“It would mean the world to me if I did”
“And I’m guessing the only way to get this dress is to go to New Yorke and buy it from this Alexia Jordson”
“Yes that would be true”
“Well I guess there’s only one solution”
“I guess I could find another dress” says Rarity with some sadness in her tone
“I was going to say I will travel to New Yorke from PonyVille but if you wish you can pick another dress”
“Oh My God…Oh My GOD…You’ll get the dress Shadow” Says Rarity jumping out of her seat and giving me a massive hug
“Of course, remember it’s our special day” I smile
“But how are you going to get there”
“I’ll find some way there, now how about we set a date for the wedding”
“Okay” says Rarity releasing her grip
“So how about we set the wedding for three weeks from now”
“How about the 22nd of September, two weeks from now”
“Are you sure that will give us enough time to get everything ready?”
“Sure will, as you have seen I have had this planned for weeks I just have to call certain ponies around equestria and everything will be sorted and I have Fluttershy and twilight to help me”
“What about Applejack and Rainbow Dash”
“They can help you on your trip to New Yorke, cause if I remember Applejack has been there once before and she will probably dirty everything for the wedding and Rainbow Dash will just get in the way at a time like this”
“You defiantly have had this planned out…and what’s says that Applejack wont dirty the dress”
“Well she won’t be caring it back to PonyVille”
“OH that means I have to” I moan, “So what says they both will help me”
“Applejack might help…but knowing her she will and you and Dash are good friends she probably help you”
“Well I better get going to see if they will…by the way how long does it take to get to New Yorke from PonyVille?”
“About two days on hoof depending on the weather”

All of a sudden a knock at the door echoes through Rarity’s Boutique
“I’ll go get that Rarity you do what you have to do for the wedding”
I walk over to the door and open the door to a pony wearing blue sunglass
“Hey Shadow”
“Hey Vinyl, Come in make yourself at home”
“Thanks” says Vinyl stepping into the living room
“Who’s at the door Darling?”
“It’s just Vinyl”
“Ah good just the Pony I was looking for” says Rarity rushing downstairs, “Vinyl I was wondering if you wanted to be the DJ at our wedding”
“Agh, I don’t really do weddings…I’m more of a party kind off pony”
“Well Vinyl it is for the after party of the wedding”
“Well…what date is it on?”
“22nd of September” Announces Rarity
“Wow, that’s only two weeks away, you sure you both will be ready”
“Trust me Rarity’s been planning this day for quite a while’ I say with a smile
“Well let me check what I have on then day” says Vinyl pulling out here diary, “Nope I have nothing on so sure I would love to DJ for your Wedding after party”
“Thank you so much Vinyl…Now if you would excuse me I have some more wedding business to take care of” says Rarity heading back upstairs
“So Vinyl what brings you to Rarity’s boutique?” I say
“Well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out this morning, because I have a show outside of PonyVille and Celestia knows how long in till I come back” replies Vinyl
“Yeah sure as along as we can stop by Applejacks along the way”
“Yeah no problem” smiles Vinyl
“Hey Rarity will you be fine here sorting out the stuff for the wedding”
“Yeah I’ll be fine…I wish you would stop asking that though please Shadow”
“Sure…I’ll see you later today” I say walking out the door
“Bye, I hope you get everything you hope for your wedding” says Vinyl

We leave Rarity’s Boutique and head towards Applejack’s Sweet Apple Acres
“So why are you going to see this pony called Applejack” asks Vinyl
“I have to go on a journey to New Yorke and hopefully Applejack has been there before” I reply
“So why are you going to New Yorke?”
“Rarity wants to get this Wedding dress that a designer in New York makes….I think she was called Alexia Jordson”
“Ah I’ve heard of her before, she’s pretty well known down in New Yorke”
“So you think she will make it?”
“Of course depending on how much bits you have”
“I don’t know but supposedly Rarity has enough bits for it so…”
“When you leaving?”
“Probably tomorrow afternoon…I’m still tired from last night” I yawn
“Haha, you got to learn how to stay awake for long periods of time”
“Yeah probably” I smile holding back another yawn, “my turn to ask some questions now”

Vinyl begins to take her glasses off slowly placing them above her white horn and revealing her neon red eyes

“I dunno, ever since I’ve been a DJ I have worn these glasses”
“Well you look cooler without them on I got to admit”
“Thanks Shadow” says Vinyl sarcastically

“Well I may as well keep them off for the day; they were getting a bit annoying anyway”
We reach Sweet Apple acres and we are greeted by Applejack and Big Macintosh
“Howdy there Shadow, what could we do for you today”
“Hey Applejack and Big Macintosh”
“Hey you’re that DJ pony from that party last night aren’t you” says Applejack looking at Vinyl with a screwed up face
“Yeah that’s me Vinyl Scratch” announces Vinyl
“Ah yeah I remember you know, you look strange without them hideous glasses on”
“Oh come on doesn’t anyone like the glasses” says Vinyl n disappointment
“Not my liking” says Applejack
“Told you Vinyl” I laugh
“So Shadow and Vinyl what brings you out to Sweet Apple Acres”
“Well Applejack I was wondering if you could help me get to New Yorke”
“And why would you be looking to go there?”
“Well you know Rarity…”
“Of course I do and im guessing she wants you to pick up her an expensive wedding dress from one of those fancy pants dress designers” buts in Applejack
“Yeah that’s pretty much the details of it” I giggle
“Well I would love to help but I got to buck the last lot of apples before tomorrow and have them ready for Granny Smith” says Applejack
“Well I could help if you like” I smile
“Yeah im up for some bucking if it will help you get done faster” adds Vinyl
“Do you know how to buck apples?”
“That maybe the only thing I don’t know” I say
“Some” adds Vinyl
“Well I’ll get to teaching you and Big Mac can go start”
“E’yep” says Big Mac
We follow Applejack to the closes tree to the barn
“Hey Applejack are you sure we should be so close to your barn” asks Vinyl
“Yeah you’ll both be fine” smiles Applejack, “now for bucking you have to make sure you hit the tree just right with your hind legs and hoofs”
Applejack gives a demonstration on how to do it
“Okay Shadow give it a try” says Applejack heading to the next tree
‘Alright I can do this’ I think to myself
I trot in front of the tree and place my hind legs aiming them directly at the tree, I do a few practice shots touching the tree softly
“Okay Shadow go for it” says Applejack
I kick my hind legs out as fast and as strong as I could hoping I hit the tree on target, all of a sudden the tree starts to shake and all the apples fall in a pile behind me
“Woo I did it” I say doing a hoof pump
“Grats Shadow” says Vinyl
“Well done Shadow” says Applejack
“Now it’s my turn” says Vinyl walking over to the next tree, “I defiantly can say I didn’t plan on bucking apples today”
Vinyl Scratch lines up aiming at the tree with her hind legs and kicks as hard as she could, but most of the apples fell out leaving just one on top of the tree
“Oh come on” yells Vinyl, “That’s unfair”
She continues to kick the tree to see if she can make it budge but she has no luck
“Well I guess it wants to stay up there”
All of a sudden as on purpose the apple falls from the tree directly at Vinyl’s face
“Ouch” cries Vinyl
“You alright there Sugar cube”
“The darn apple hit my horn and broke my glasses” says Vinyl disposing them on the ground
“You got another pair of them right” asks Applejack
“Yeah I have fifty odd pairs at home” replies Vinyl
“Well you alright Vinyl” I ask
“Yeah I’ll survive” replies Vinyl, “Now how about we get this done before dark”
“Okay then” says Applejack
“Shadow you take this line of trees” says Apple jack pointing to the trees in front of us

Me and Vinyl begin to walk back to Rarity’s still covered in mud and dust from apple bucking
“Well that was a different day to all the rest” I smile
“I can’t believe we spent the whole day bucking apples” says Vinyl, “At least I can now say I’ve done it”
“You gotta admit when that apple wouldn’t come down you were getting pretty mad” I laugh
“Well that apple broke my shades now I need to get another pair” says Vinyl rubbing her head
“I thought you had another pair”
“Yeah I do but there back at my crib”
“Your Crib” I say trying not to break out and laugh
“Well my place, that better”
“Na just didn’t think I would here a pony in PonyVille say Crib”
“Well I guess you can check that of your list of things you won’t hear in PonyVille”
Me and Vinyl continue to walk and talk until a cyan pony approaches us from the distance
“Hey Shadow, Rarity said you’ve been looking for me”
“Hey Rainbow Dash, I’ve totally forgot about asking you something, I got caught up in bucking apples for Applejack”
“Oh hello, Vinyl I didn’t see you there, you look different without your glasses on” says Dash
“No probs, everyone’s been saying that today” replies Vinyl
“So Shadow what did you want” says Dash focusing her attention on me again
“I was wondering if you wanted to accompany me to New Yorke” I say
“I would love to but you sure Rarity will approve…since what happened last time” Says Dash looking at th ground with a worried look on her face
“I thought you both worked that out”
“Yeah we did…but I don’t wanna break her trust by repeating what happened last time”Says Dash softly
“You won’t repeat it because Applejack’s coming along as well, and Rarity suggested you tag along”
“Probably thinks I’ll get in the way” smirks Rainbow Dash
“So what you say” I say with a cheesy smile
“Fine…I’ll tag along only because you would get bored if I wasn’t there” boasts Rainbow Dash
“Yeah that would probably be true; I don’t know what I would talk about with Applejack”
“Exactly, So why are you going to New Yorke?” asks Dash
“I got to pick up a wedding dress for Rarity” I moan as I look down at the ground

“What’s wrong” I say scrunching my face up at Vinyl
“Nothing, don’t worry about it…I just don’t believe in it that’s all” says Vinyl trying to evade talking about it by looking back at Sweet Apple Acres
“So Shadow, whens the wedding” says Dash trying to make conversation
“22nd of September” I say with a proud smile, “and I expect you to be there”

“Not even if the Wonderbolts happened to ask you to join them” I joke
“Well maybe not anything then” smiles Dash

“Ha, how about that I just happened to be throwing a birthday party for Spitfire soon” Boasts Vinyl with devious smile

“Oh come on, you get me in” begs Dash, “please…. Please… please you got to get me into that Party”
“Fine” says Vinyl, “but I don’t promise anything”

“I’m not promising anything so don’t get upset with me if you don’t get invited” laughs Vinyl
“Well we better get going” I say

“Bye Dash” me and Vinyl say in unison
A cloud of dust flows through the air as Dash leaves
“You actually throwing a party for Spitfire” I say holding a hoof to my mouth so i don't cough
“Yeah I actually am… What you want a invite as well” Smiles Vinyl
“No I fine, just asking in case you were pulling Dash’s leg”
“Nope im completely genuine, I’m throwing a birthday party for Spitfire”
“So what happened between you two and Rarity” asks Vinyl checking If Dash was still around
“Nothing much, don’t really wanna talk about it though…I don’t think they would appreciate it if I did ether” I say looking down at the ground
“Yeah that’s cool, so where are we heading” says Vinyl
“Well I was thinking of heading home to get cleaned up after I annoy Rarity with all this mud” I laugh

“I dunno haven’t thought that far” I say putting a hoof up to my chin, “what you wanna do?”
“Hmm… I heard there’s a band playing at Planet Pony tonight, you wanna go and check them out”
“Yeah sounds fun but im kind of getting peckish how about something to eat first though, bucking apples kind of works up an appetite” I say holding my belly
“Yeah sure” says Vinyl, “But where are we going to eat”
“Well Rarity should still be home she will probably have something in the oven”

We continue walking back to PonyVille until we finally reach Rarity’s boutique
“Oh Shadow darling your back” says Rarity opening the door
“Yeah sorry I’ve been gone for a long time” I say going to give Rarity a hug
“Eew please don’t touch me with those muddy hooves” screams Rarity as she backs away from me
“Oh come on Rarity, you afraid of a speck of dirt getting on your white coat” I tease
“For a matter of fact I am and if you wouldn’t mind if you keep your hooves to yourself while there still dirty”
“Well can I come into clean them?”
“You most defiantly cannot” says Rarity, “You may use the hose out in the back yard to clean those muddy hooves”
“Yeah I might wanna do that to” says Vinyl
“Um… Rarity were about outside is the hose” I ask
“Ha…” Rarity sighs, “Follow me I’ll show you to the hose”
Rarity leads us outside to the hose that is in a neat pile next to the tap
“You defiantly like everything to be clean, don’t you Rarity” says Vinyl
“Well…we can’t have everything looking mess now can we” replies Rarity
I grab the hose and plug it into the tap and turn it on, I begin to wash all the mud off my hooves and pass it to Vinyl scratch to do the same, after she was finished with the hose she past it back to me and I had the idea of squirting Rarity with it
“Hey Rarity” I say pointing to a ball in her back yard
“Yes Shadow”
“Think fast”
I point the nozzle of the hose at Rarity and turn the hose on for boar
“SHADOW” Screams Rarity, “WHAT WAS THAT FOR...NOW IM ALL ICKY AND WET AND YOU RUINED MY COAT AND MANE”
“Oh come on Rarity, it’s only a little bit of water” I say before squirting Vinyl who was standing next to me
“SHADOW WHAT WAS THAT FOR” Screams Vinyl
“I dunno” I say laughing and squirting them both again
“THAT’S IT” screams Rarity using her magic to take the hose out of my hands and squirt me with it
We mess around for ten minutes squirting each other with the hose until we all call the quits
“Well Shadow and Rarity, im going to head home” says Vinyl trying to gain her breath
“Yeah…See ya later…Vinyl” replies Rarity
“I…Thought we…were going to go…see that band” I say exhaustedly
“Yeah that was before I got all wet and dirty from the hose…now I gotta go home and cleanup”
“Well I’ll see ya when ether you or I get back to PonyVille”
“Yeah sure catch ya all later” says Vinyl leaving through the front gate
“Bye” I and Rarity say in unison
Me and Rarity both head inside for tea that Rarity was preparing earlier, after we finished our tea we headed upstairs into Rarity’s room

“Yeah Shadow”
“Well since I basically am hear all the time, I was wondering if I could move in”
“I thought you already did” Jokes Rarity
“Oh well, never mind then”
“Shadow you can move in any time you like you’re my fiancé now, it would be weird if you didn’t leave here”
“Never thought about it like that”
“Well Shadow im going to have a long…hot…steamy shower” says Rarity with a hint of lust in her tone
“Well I’ll be waiting out here for when you’re done” I say pretending I didn’t notice her lust
“You can join me if you wish” says Rarity batting her eyelashes at me
“Na im fine, I’ll wait till you’re done”
“Oh…Your loss” says Rarity swaying her hips as she walks off
“Damn I can’t resist that” I say rushing into the shower with Rarity
We fool around in the shower a little longer than expected
"Well, Shadow i guess i won’t be seeing you for a couple of days" complains Rarity
"Yeah i guess you won’t, what are you going to do without me here" I boast
"Well i guess I’ll have to give you something so you hurry back home" says Rarity seductively as she pushes me on the bed
"What round two already" I moan, "not that I’m ungrateful, but im still tired from round one...You ponies sure do get your strength back quicker than us humans"
"Yeah i guess we do" says Rarity as she sits down on my chest before laying her lips upon mine
We fool around on the bed for a little while before we both drift of to sleep.

Chapter 23: Departing Gift
I awake to Rarity sitting on top of my chest
“Hey Shadow” says Rarity with a smile
“Hey Rare, what are you doing up so early” I say rubbing my eyes
“Darling, I thought I would give you something before you left on your expedition” smiles Rarity
“It’s an expedition now” I say with a confused look
“Did I say expedition….dearie me” giggles Rarity, “anyway I want to give you a present before you go”
Rarity hopes of my stomach and walks over to something covered in a white cloth
“What’s behind the cloth?” I say looking at the cloth strangely
“Wait and see” smiles Rarity as she walks over to the cloth, “before I show you this is something I wouldn’t usually make, so I’m not quite sure if you will like it darling but I did my best”
“I promise not to laugh”
“Okay here it is” says Rarity as she pulls down the cloth, “I call it LA Revolution”
Behind hind the cloth was a black leather duster/trench coat similar to the style of Dante’s from Devil May Cry, but instead Rarity had sowed in tribal designs along the forelegs of the coat and a Celtic cross laid in the middle and the inner lay of the coat was imbedded with red silk and two black strips of leather lay across the middle of the coat with a buckle at the end so the jacket could be closed.
“OH My God, Rarity” I say walking up to the coat in amazement, “It’s beautiful, how did you know that I liked this kind of design”
“Well you did bring your laptop back with you when you came with all your stuff from earth, so I took a look on it and saw the designs for this coat and decided to tailor it for you”
“So you’ve been making this jacket before we got together” I say looking at Rarity in shock
“Well if you put it that way, I guess so…I’m completely sorry about prying on your personal business”
“No don’t be….I still can’t believe you made this for me, I….Love it”
“Try it on” insist Rarity
“Okay” I say as I quickly grab it of the mannequin
The coat fits like a glove you could feel the softness of the embedded silk rubbing against your fur and the designs across the sleeves of the coat
“It’s so awesome” I say looking at myself in a mirror
“Im glad you like it” blushes Rarity, “now you better get ready for your journey to New Yorke”
I go to take the jacket off until Rarity says to keep it on and wear it to New Yorke
“Rarity I can’t wear this to New Yorke what will happen if I ruin it” I say undressing
“Shadow, I’m willing to take a risk with you not ruining the jacket plus I made this Jacket for you and what good is it if you never wear it” says Rarity while lacing it back up, “Now wear this jacket to New Yorke for me okay”
“Fine I’ll wear it for you” I say before kissing Rarity, “now I better get ready, it’s a long walk from here to New Yorke and I plan to leave soon”
“Sure darling, you go pack” says Rarity giving me a peck on the cheek
I walk across to my house and grab two black and red saddle bags with a design that looks like my cutie mark as the buckle from my bedroom and begin to put necessary items like food and water and a other camping items inside the bags.
‘That should do me before until I get to New Yorke’ I think to myself
I walk back downstairs and outside and lock my front door and notice Rarity waiting for me outside her boutique
“Shadow you look after yourself alright while you’re gone okay… don’t get into any fights with the locals of New Yorke and make sure you come back safe…Okay darling” stresses Rarity
“Yes mother…also you forgot don’t talk to any strangers while in New Yorke” I joke
“Shadow I’m serious I don’t want anything to happen to you while you’re gone okay” says Rarity while giving me a hug
“I’ll be fine, it’s me who should be doing all the worrying we got a baby coming soon and all this wedding stress probably ain’t helping you” I comfort Rarity, “So make sure you don’t over work yourself okay Rare”
“I’ll be alright” Rarity says before turning the hug into a kiss
“Come on you two” says Applejack as soon as she arrives, “yawl better be finished before it gets dark”
“Hold your horses Applejack I’ll be there in a sec” I say pulling away from Rarity, “I’ll see you later okay Rare”
“Of course you will, I’ll be here when you get back” smiles Rarity
I trot over to Applejack and notice Rainbow Dash isn’t here yet
“Hey Applejack where’s Rainbow Dash”
“I dunno, I didn’t even know she was comin’”
I look up towards the sky and notice a cloud with a rainbow strip lying on top of it
“I think I found her” I say floating up to the cloud
“Hey Rainbow Dash” I scream at the top of my lungs
I must have yelled so loud that it startled Dash and she fell off the cloud landing face first on the floor
“Hahahaha” Applejack laughs, “That will teach ya for sleepin’ around when we need to get goin’”
“That wasn’t very nice Shadow, we better get going” says Dash before storming off
As we were about to leave I could hear somepony calling out my name
“Shadow….Shadow wait up” yells somepony
I turn around and see Vinyl Scratch running full pelt towards us
“Hey Vinyl Scratch what are you doing here, I thought you had a gig tomorrow night”
“Yeah I do, but it so happens to be in New Yorke” puffs Vinyl Scratch, “so I thought I might tag along with you guys… if you don’t mind that is”
“Na it’s alright by me” I say
“Same here” says Dash and Applejack
“Well welcome to the group” I say with a big smile, “we better get going before we waste any more time”
I turn around to wave my final good bye to Rarity while yelling the words “I love” at the top of my lungs while I watch Rarity wave back with a beautiful smile upon her face as we all set off down the road to New Yorke.

“Nope just wondering where we are going to stop for the night” I say looking back at Applejack with a smile
“Well if we are lucky we should reach the village of Cairncross by nightfall” smiles Applejack, “So yawl better keep up the pace if we’re going to reach Cairncross by tonight”
“Sure thing” I say while doing a mock march,
“You heard the filly...Time to move out” I say pointing down the road
“I...I captain” Laughs Vinyl
“Hey Shadow, where you get that jacket” asks Dash inspecting the coolness of it
“Rarity made it for me…she went snooping around through my private stuff and found it and she ended up making it for me…It’s pretty cool hey” I say doing a little twirl like a school girl
“Yeah I like the detail down the side of the legs” replies Dash, “It looks similar to the style of your cutie mark”
“I prefer the large cross on the back embed with the small diamonds” says Vinyl Scratch as if she just noticed the jacket
“Yeah the diamonds prove Rarity made it” I smile
“Yeah yawl should know how much that filly loves her diamonds” laughs Applejack, “Im surprised that she let you take that on are adventure…cause of the way she is with mud and all”

We continue walking until we notice a pony setting up a small tent
“Hello there young travelers” says the pony

“I know all your names…Over there is Vinyl Scratch” says the mystical pony pointing at Vinyl

“Well…The Rainbow manned pony over there’s name is Rainbow Dash” she says pointing at Rainbow Dash, who was leaning up against a post that was holding up the tent

“And you sir a called Shadow…and you’re going to New Yorke to pick up a dress for your fiancé
“Okay Lady…how do you know all this about me and my friends” I say placing my fore hooves on the table
“Stop dirtying my table and sit, and I will tell you”
I sit down in front of the pony with the crystal ball and hear Applejack say
“Hey, I don’t mean to interrupt what yawls are doing but there ain’t enough seats for us to sit on”
“well I guess you have to options” says the gypse pony
“And what would they be” blurts Rainbow Dash
“You can ether stand or you can sit on the ground” smiles the gypse pony, “Okay Shadow, my name is fantasia and im here to tell you what lies within your life in Equestria”
“Im guessing your going to do your hokey pokey stuff and see if all the cards will plan uout to be right…Well I’ve got some news for you I don’t believe in any of this rubbish so im leaving” I say getting up of the seat and leaving with the other Ponies
“So be it but if you don’t wanna know what will happen to the one you call Rarity….” She says standing up out of her chair.

As soon as she mentioned Rarity’s name it felt like a pony had punched me and hit me directly in my chest and left me breathless.
For a couple of seconds I didn’t know how to respond to what she just said but I decided to hear whatever the gypse had to say
“Hey guys, Could you leave us for a minute” I say softly
“Yeah sure” says Applejack and Vinyl Scratch as they get up of the ground
“You to Dash” I say
“Oh come on this was just getting interesting” expels Dash
“Come on Dash, there’s something’s pony’s aren’t supposed to hear” says Vinyl Scratch as if she knew I wasn’t actually a pony “And this just happens to be one of those times”
“But isn’t Shadow a pony?” questions Dash while holding a hoof to her chin
“Come on Dash” says Applejack forcing Dash out the tent
“Hey no need to push” yells Dash
I close the tent so the other ponies couldn’t hear what Fantasia was about to say
“Okay Fantasia you have my attention now tell me everything you know” I say looking directly at her
“Well…How about I show you” says Fantasia walking over to me, “Now just relax and let the spirits take you”
The next thing I could tell she placed her hoof on top of my head and began to chant something that I couldn’t make out, an all of a sudden a flash occurred and everything faded to black.
As everything come back to focus I could see everything as black and white flash back
“Argh your awake” said a familiar voice, “Now I have taken you into the future were PonyVille has turned into rubble ever since a unexpected attack”
“Why are you showing me a Equestria in rubble for?” I say not believing my sight
“I’m showing what will happen if you and your friends don’t stop what is about to arrive in PonyVille”
“And what will that be?” I say
All of a sudden a white flash appears blinding my vision
“This is PonyVille exactly 3 minutes before the unexpected attack”
The next thing I could see was an explosion coming from the west side of PonyVille were a dark grey unicorn stood within all the chaos happening around him. This pony didn’t look like any of the other ponies you would see around PonyVille he had a Dark Grey coat with Grey and black mane he also had another distinctive feature across his left eye wear a scar lay from the bottom of his eye to the top of his head.
“Who is this guy” I say witnessing the destruction of PonyVille
The vision disappears as the real world comes back to me
“That is Phantom…He wasn’t a luck pony like you were, he wasn’t found by any generous pony such as Rarity when he arrived, he awoke to a barren wasteland where he spent his time wondering around aimlessly, until he stumble upon an abounded shack” Says Fantasia walking slowly around the tent, “He stayed in the abounded shack for a couple of weeks while trying to gather any food from any living thing that came past, One night while he was hunting he stepped in this colorful rainbow puddle that happened to be on the ground and since it was the first sign of water he had seen In two weeks he decided to drink from this puddle”
“So what’s so special about this puddle?” I say thinking that she’s making this story up as she goes along
“Well…I’m getting to that part” She says sitting back down in there chair, “As Phantom got back to the shack he began to feel different inside”
“So im guessing that the puddle turned him into what he is now?”
“Yes what lay within that puddle was a small amount of Discords Chaos Essence which manipulated Phantom and turned his heart into pure darkness and his appearance into a dull and lifeless pony” says Fantasia
“So exactly what does this have to do with me and Rarity?” I say in confusion
“It is possible that contained in that puddle of chaos could have been some remnants of Discord allowing him to live on through the mind of Phantom” says Fantasia with a puzzling look on her face, “But that is only what I am predicting that has happened”
“So in other words you don’t know” I say standing up
“I don’t know his attentions on why he wants to destroy PonyVille or any one you love and hold dearest to you, but I do know that if you go back to PonyVille right now you won’t be able to save any one”
“WHAT…Are you telling me that I can’t go back to save my fiancé “I scream as I stand up and smash my hoof against the table, “I’m not going to leave her there to die”
“I know this may be hard to deal with…But if you go you will end up being killed, what I showed you was the future if you stayed in PonyVille, Phantom didn’t plan on you leaving to go to New Yorke so you will be able to have the chance of beating him, cause he will believe you are somewhere within PonyVille when he attacks” Convinces Fantasia
“Okay Fantasia I won’t go back to PonyVille just yet” I say facing towards the door with my back to Fantasia, “But when I do… I’ll be expecting one hell of a fight”
I leave the tent and walk over to the others that were sitting down outside
“Hey Shadow your finally finished” yawns Dash, “So what did she say”
“I tell you later but for now let’s get moving I wanna reach Cairncross by tonight” I say walking off down the dirt road thinking about what Fantasia had said.
‘Aggghhh…This damn Phantom guy is planning to attack PonyVille and there is nothing I can do to stop it’ I think to myself while looking down at the ground, ‘How am I going to tell Vinyl, Dash and Applejack about Phantom… Will they believe me… and if so will they leave to save PonyVille or do what Fantasia said and wait till he’s attacked… I guess I better tell them they would wanna know about this and I am going to need their help against Phantom’

We have been travelling for roughly 10 hours now and the sun has gone to sleep and Princess Luna has taken her role of the day. The stars seemed to be much brighter in Cairncross than they were in PonyVille and the moon looked larger as well. We decided that Cairncross was the perfect little village to set up camp for the night. Applejack began unload her sleeping bag along with Dash’s and Vinyl Scratch decided to unpack hers as well and so did I.
“Okay Sleeping bag unpacked” I say out loud looking at my unpacked sleeping bag
“Some here” Says Vinyl
“Hey Applejack would you mind hurrying up” yawns Dash
“You know you’d be done faster if you actually did it yourself” says Applejack trying to unpack Dash’s sleeping bag
“Agh, Im to tied to do it” Says Dash will releasing a massive yawn
“You’re always tired” Remarks Applejack
“Enough you two” I say before Dash was about to say something that probably would tick off Applejack, “Okay im going to get some fire wood…so you two play nice”
“I’ll help you with that” says Vinyl trotting after me
We venture into the woods on search for sizeable logs or sticks to use for the fire.
“So Shadow, What did you and the fortune teller talk about?” ask Vinyl while looking around for wood
“Nothing much” I lie trying to avoid eye contact with Vinyl
“Come on I know it wasn’t nothing” smiles Vinyl
“I really don’t wanna talk about it right now” I say trying to avoid this conversation
“Shadow, you know they say it’s better to get something of your chest before it builds up inside and you just won’t tell any pony” says Vinyl more persistent then ever
“There’s just no hope of dropping this subject is there” I smile to Vinyl
“Nope, it’s the only way to find out what some ponies are hiding” Vinyl smiles back

“How about when we finish collecting some wood I promise to tell every pony what the fortune teller said” I say picking up a log of wood

We finish collecting the wood and head back to the camp site
“We found some wood you guy” I say as I drop the wood in a pile on the floor
“Finally it was getting cold out here” shivers Dash even though she is all covered up in her sleeping bag
“I see you finally got your sleeping bag” I joke
“Yeah no help from Rainbow Dash” remarks Applejack
“Alright how about we get this fire started” I say walking over to the pile of logs, “Um… Okay how do you do this first”
“Shadow you don’t know how to light a fire?” laughs Applejack
“Nope never learned how to” I say
“Here let me help” says Vinyl
Vinyl’s horn begins to light up as with a purple aura and I hear the fire begin to crackle
“And that’s how it’s done” says Vinyl
“How did you do that” I say impressed by Vinyl
“Just something I learnt along my travels” Boasts Vinyl
“Agh” moans Dash getting closer to the fire
“Now Shadow didn’t you have something you wanted to tell us” says Vinyl forcing me to confess what the fortune teller told me
“Yeah I did didn’t I, Thanks for reminding me Vinyl” I say with a sarcastic look on my face
“Thank me later” smiles Vinyl knowing exactly what she’s done
“So what is it Shadow” says Dash interested all of a sudden
“Well you guys know how I was talking to the fortune teller all alone this morning” I say noticing all the faces looking directly at me interested in each word I was about to say, “Well it seems we may have a little problem back at PonyVille”
“What kind of little?” exclaims Applejack, “The kind of little, when Big Mac forgets to buck an apple tree?”
“Or the kind of little were a Pegasus forgets a rain cloud?” adds Dash
“Okay maybe a bigger problem than that” I say screwing up my face, “Well you see….”
I take a minute to look around at each ponies face before I continue
“Well… In a couple of days PonyVille is going to be under attack” I say waiting to be ambushed by millions of questions
“What?” says Dash in shock
“Are you saying that every pony in PonyVille is in danger” adds Applejack also in shock
“Why didn’t you tell us when the fortune teller told you?” also adds Vinyl
“Well that’s the thing the fortune teller told me that if we go back we won’t be able to save PonyVille” I say with a sad tone as I lower my head towards the ground, “She showed me the future of Equestria if we don’t stay away from PonyVille for a couple of days”
“Why should we stay back…we need to go back and help any pony we can” says Dash sadly
“You know I would but we just can’t, I have my Fiancé Rarity back in PonyVille…you think I haven’t questioned going back just to spend some more time together…But if we go back the whole of Equestria will be doomed”
“So what are we going to do” says Vinyl with placing a hoof on my shoulder
“Were going to go to New Yorke, get the dress, head back and save PonyVille” I say looking back up
I notice Applejack beginning to pack up her stuff
“Hey Applejack what are you doing?” I yell
“Im going back to save PonyVille” she says stuffing her sleeping bag into her saddle bag
“We can’t go back, not yet anyway” I say walking over to Applejack
“Yeah, You might not be able to head back, but I sure as apples am” says Applejack strapping her bag to herself, “I gotta farm to help save”
“Applejack wait” I yell
The next thing we knew Applejack was racing back to PonyVille, hoping to save whatever acre she could.
“Now who’s going to help me with my sleeping bag” huffs Dash
“I don’t know” I say softly, “Well Applejacks gone, anyone else feel that they have to head back to PonyVille…if so speak now”
“Shadow I trust that you are doing the right thing for everyone in Equestria” comforts Vinyl
“what about you Dash?” I say looking at Dash
I notice Dash fast asleep in her sleeping bag snoring like a baby
“I guess she’s staying” I smile, “Hey Vinyl, We better get some sleep…It’s going to be a long day tomorrow”
“Yeah it sure is” says Vinyl walking off to her sleeping bag
I walk over to my sleeping bag and get inside of it and zip it up
“Goodnight Shadow” Yawns Vinyl
“Yeah goodnight Vinyl” I yawn
‘I hope Applejack knows what she’s doing and doesn’t get herself killed’ I think to myself
I hear everything go quite except the rustling of the trees and the calls of the nocturnal birds…well until I hear Rainbow Dash do a massive snore.

We awake to the sound of cheerful birds, siting comfortable in the trees
“Shut up…you damn birds” moans Vinyl covering her head with her sleeping bag.
“Shut up Vinyl” moans Dash hitting Vinyl with one of her pillows
“That’s it” yells Vinyl jumping out of her sleeping bag, “This is war”
Vinyl starts her war of by throwing a pillow directly at the sleeping cyan pony, catching her of guard causing her to retaliate by throwing her pillow along with Vinyl’s
“Hey you to settle down im trying to sleep” I yell trying to be heard over the two giggling ponies
All of a sudden im hit square in the face by two soft pillows
“Oh come on that’s not far” I say getting out of my sleeping bag, “Now I guess this calls for revenge”
I through the two pillows that hit me directly at vinyl and Dash then quickly grabbing my two pillows and taking cover behind a fallen down tree. Pillows begin tearing through the sky like soft and fluffy bullets hitting any one getting in their path.
We continue to have some fluffy fun until we hear a familiar voice from afar
“What in tarnation are yawl doing” yells the familiar voice
“Hey Applejack…how nice of you to join us” says Dash dodging the incoming pillows, “Now think fast”
“What?” says Applejack before a pillow being planted directly in her face, “Hey what was that for?”
“That’s for leaving us here without us knowing how to get to New Yorke” Says Dash throwing another pillow at Applejack.
“Im sorry but I still don’t approve about yawl waiting and not helping the ponies of PonyVille” Says Applejack, “but I can’t leave my friends behind as well to fight this Phantom”
“Well glad to have you back” I say smiling at Applejack, “Well guys I guess it’s time to pack up and roll out”
“Sure thing Shadow….Just let me find my other pillow” Giggles Dash looking around the campsite
We pack up the campsite and continue to wait for Rainbow Dash to find her misplaced pillow
“Hey Dash you found it yet” I yell looking around to see if I could find the rainbow Pegasus
“Yeah im right…have you seen my pillow anywhere?” Yells Dash from behind us
“Nope” I yell back as I turn around to see Rainbow Dash looking down a hole in the ground
“I don’t think she’s going to find it” says Vinyl as she walks over to me and Applejack
“And why would that be” I say with a sarcastic grin across my face
“Cause her pillow is here” she says holding up Dash’s blue pillow
“Yeah I suspected so” I say holding back laughing from, “you’re so mean Vinyl
“Hey it’s called Revenge” says Vinyl trying to hide the pillow
“Should we tell her that we have her pillow” asks Applejack
“Na…leave her searching for a bit… I need a good laugh after yesterday”
We watched as we left Dash to search for her pillow hunt; she searched in every hole in the ground she could see, every tree top and branch to see if it was stuck in the tree, see even searched behind every bolder and rock within the forest. We watched as she became frustrated with not finding a simple blue pillow that should have been easily noticeable within the green forest.
“Hey you guys have you seen my pillow” Dash says with a frustrated tone.
“Oh are you talking about this pillow” says Vinyl holding up the blue pillow.
“Are you serious” says Dash as her face turns a flaming Red
“Agh I think yawl shouldn’t have hide her pillow” Laughs Applejack
“You were in on this as well” said Dash with a deadly glare
“Ugh…Vinyl I think we better run” I say picking up my bag, “What way to New Yorke, Applejack”
“that way” says Applejack pointing a hoof towards north
“Okay cool…will see you at New Yorke” I say bolting towards our new destination.
“We could hear Rainbow Dash chasing us down as we tried to maneuver and out run her through the forest, this was proving to be highly impossible and the idea of Rainbow Dash catching us grow strong
“Hey Shadow over there” says Vinyl pointing towards the bright skyline
“Wow, that’s beautiful” I say stopping dead in my tracks not caring if Dash was close to catching up
“Well that’s New Yorke for ya” Says Vinyl, “It’s the most beautiful and busiest City in all of Equestria”
All of a sudden the moment of basking in magnificent beauty was interrupted by a very ticked off blue Pegasus
“Alright Vinyl and Shadow time for revenge” says Dash with the same deadly stare from back at the campsite
“Ok Dash….Ugh were totally sorry from taking your pillow but it was Vinyl’s idea in the first place I just suggested that we hold on to it a while longer” I say nervously
“Oh thanks Shadow for throwing me into the lion’s den” says Vinyl angrily
“No probs tell me if you survive” I joke while backing away from Dash and Vinyl
“Yeah you will be the first to know” glares Vinyl, “okay Dash im so sorry for taking your pillow, it was a mean thing to do towards you and I hope you will accept my apology”
“Oh you’re going to be sorry” Says Dash grabbing Vinyl’s glasses
“Hey give me back my glasses” Says Vinyl not used to the bright sunlight
“No you stole my pillow so im taking you glasses” laughs Dash walking over to the edge of the cliff, “How about we play a game called find the glasses”
“Dash stop tormentin’ the poor unicorn and give her the glasses back” says a loud voice from behind me
“But she stole my pillow” wines Dash walking away from the cliff edge
“Dash, give her the glasses back now before ponies start doing things they’re going to regret” says Applejack standing in front of me and Vinyl.
“Fine” huffs Dash as she passes the glasses back to Vinyl, “sorry for taking your glasses”
“No need to apologies I was the one that stole you’re pillow in the first place” smiles Vinyl while putting her glasses in her bag
“Aren’t you going to wear your glasses” I ask Vinyl
“Na I’m used to the brightness now so there’s no point in wearing them” smiles Vinyl with a cheesy smile
“Oh okay…Hey Dash” I say walking over to the cliff face
“Yeah Shadow” says Dash
“How about a race”
“Sure…were to?” says Dash keen to race
“From here to New Yorke” I say pointing at the large city
“Alright you got yourself a race” says Dash getting pumped, “Im going to beat you this time”
“What Shadow beat Dash in a race” says Applejack in shock
“Yeah he got lucky that day but im going to win today” says Dash getting prepared at the edge of the cliff
“Hey Applejack could you start the race….and we will meet you out front of New Yorke”
“Sure” says Applejack walking over to the makeshift starting line, “On your marks….Get set…. GO!”

As Applejack shouted the word go I and Dash zoom of the starting line leaving a trail of dust behind us. We began to race as hard and as fast as we could and I could notice Rainbow Dash leaving a Rainbow trail behind her as she soared through the air and I was hoping that I was leaving the same behind me but only black and red of course.

As we reached the quarter way point the sky became busy with other Pegasus’s attending to their daily work or chores in the sky. It was proving to be quiet difficult to maneuver through the small air space that was available without colliding with any other pony. I could see it was also proving to be a challenge for Dash as she was also struggling to dodge any of the oncoming Pegasus’s, It reminded me of the days back on earth when you would watch movies such as Fast and the Furious where the cars where zooming down the street avoiding oncoming cars and any police that happened to be chasing them at the time, but only the fast pimped out cars where replaced with real life Pegasus and there happened to be no police around at the time.

We continued racing towards New Yorke and so far Dash happened to be just winning the race. So I became more determined to fly faster and faster than I ever could just to prove that the first win wasn’t just a fluke. We were around the half-way point and the air space was very tight like it was peak hour traffic. Weaving between each Pegasus that was in the way of the race or trying to fly in any empty lane for longer than five seconds while trying to gain the lead was a very hard task to achieve, especially when Dash would beat me to an empty lane causing me to dodge any oncoming Pegasus’s.

Three quarters of the way there and it was easily noticeable the determination and motivation that me and Dash were showing through are faces and our flying skills.

“Looks like im going to win this time Shadow” yells my eager opponent
“The race isn’t over yet” I say hoping I somehow gain the lead
“Don’t worry Shadow…This Race is all mine” yells Dash as she zooms down towards the ground hoping to find a faster route.

I continued to race the same route finally being able to fly in any empty lane that was free. I notice Dash directly below me flying as hard as she could as if I was the hardest opponent she has faced in a while. It was the final part of the race and I have done well at dodging any Pegasus I had nearly come to colliding with, and I had just noticed I had gained the lead off of Dash.
‘Yes im in the lead’ I think to myself, ‘Okay Shadow calm down don’t get cocky’
I take a deep breath and give myself a little pep talk to convince myself I can win. I see Dash alongside me again proving that the route she was trying to take wasn’t as good as the rout I was flying. We were only inches away from the main entrance of New Yorke and Victor was growing within my grasp, the sound of the wind blowing of my body and the trail of black and red along with the trail of rainbow following behind me and Dash was growing longer over the intensity of the limits we were pushing our self’s to.
“Yes im going to win” I yell in excitement to dash
“Not I I have anything to do about it” says Dash zooming of gaining the lead for the second time.
“No…No...No…” I scream watching as the hopes of winning fade away.
That was it there was no possible way of catching up before Dash one or so as I thought, as I looked around I could see a red aura begin to surround my Pegasus body, causing me to soar through the air faster and at I much higher speed to Dash.
“Yeeeeeaaahhhh” I screamed as I flew past Dash in a blink of an eye
‘I did it I beat Dash to the main entrance’ I thought to myself in excitement as I landed waiting for Dash to appear
“Hey Shadow were did that burst of energy come from” asks Dash in amazement of my enigmatic speed.
“I don’t know… It came out of nowhere” I say looking back at Dash, “Just like that night I saved Rarity from that beast when I first arrived here in PonyVille I was hit with a sudden surge of energy causing me to defeat it”
“Well however you did it; I hope it happens when we go back to PonyVille” Smiles Dash
“Yeah me to” I say softly looking towards the ground, “we better wait here for Vinyl and Applejack”
I sit down on a bench located on the side of the main entrance waiting for Vinyl and Applejack to arrive. It was about two hours before we heard Vinyl and Applejack arrive awaking us from the sleeping state Dash and I had drifted into.
“So who won” asked Vinyl eager to hear the results
“Yeah who won?” says Applejack as eager as Vinyl
“Well the lucky winner was Shadow of course…who somehow had this mysterious surge of energy causing him to beat me” says Dash as if she was admitting defeat
“Hey congrats Shadow” says Vinyl giving me a bro hoof
“Well since that’s out of the way how about we find this Alexia Jordson” I say hoping to hurry this trip up so we can go back to PonyVille not knowing if every pony was alright or not
“Yeah shouldn’t be too hard” Yawns Dash as she stretches her hind legs out
“Tired Dash” I smile
“Yeah that race took it out of me” yawns Dash again but not as loud
“Well yawl better hurry up before good ol’ Rainbow Dash falls asleep” laughs Applejack

We head inside New Yorke without knowing where to look for Alexia Jordson.
“Okay so where do we start” I say looking around for a building or a billboard displaying her name
“Uhhh…to put it this way I don’t know” says Dash
“Yeah I don’t know ever” says Applejack, “I never go to big cities like this”
“Yeah I kind of figured this would happen” I sigh, “Well this is going to take a while”
“Well you lucky you have a capital city filly like me around to show you the way” says Vinyl walking in front of us all,
“Well lead the way then Vinyl” I say standing beside Vinyl
“Okay but keep close…you don’t wanna get lost in this city” says Vinyl lifting her glasses of her face and placing them on top of her white horn
We follow Vinyl in a tight pack, as if we were afraid to fall behind or get lost in this monster of a city.
“How long until we are there” moans Dash
“Just a little further Dash” giggles Vinyl getting used to the complaints of Dash, “Here we are”
We walk down to the end of the street and see a massive building with Alexia Jordson wedding styles written in cursive. We walk up the stairs to see a view of the main lobby through a glass revolving door decorated with all kinds of assortments
“Well thanks Vinyl for escorting us here” I smile
“No problems but this is how far I can go” says Vinyl turning to walk down the stairs
“Why’d that be” asks Applejack
“I got a concert on tonight so I I’ve got to go and set up my gear and help with getting the stage ready”
“Oh yeah I completely forgot about that” I say face hoofing myself, “Well how do we get out of New Yorke from here?”
“Umm…Just take a left here and follow the street and you should find your way out” says Vinyl making hoof gestures of were to go
“Well I guess I’ll see you around” I smile
“Well, if you save PonyVille that is” Says Vinyl with a little Smile
“I…better get going don’t want to waste what valuable time we have”
“Yeah, see ya all later”
“Bye Vinyl” says Dash and Applejack as she walks off
“Oh Shadow” says Vinyl
“Hmmm”
“Make sure you survive”
“Hey, Vinyl sounds like you’re getting soft on me” I smile
“No nothing like that just…Don’t die yet…I got to kill you myself for rating me out to Dash” smiles Vinyl with a mischievous smile
“Will Do” I nod
Vinyl begins trotting off and Dash, Applejack and I walk inside of Alexia Jordson Wedding styles.
“Hello Ladies and Gentlecolt how may I be of service today” says a light blue earth pony behind the counter
“Um…. I have an appointment with Miss Jordson today about a wedding Dress for my Wife”
“Surname Please”
“Shadow”
“Uh yes…Miss Lady Rarity has asked for quite an expensive wedding dress… but it does sort her taste” says the receptionist
“Yeah you could say that again” I smile placing my forelegs on the counter, “so how do you know Rarity?”
“Me and Lady Rarity are pretty good friends and im also one of Rarity’s Bridesmaids at the wedding”
“Oh so I guess she’s already started sending out the invitations”
“Yep I got one last night will we were talking over the phone” replies the Receptionist, “Uh Miss Jordson is waiting for you”
I walk over to were another filly was waiting to escort us to Alexia Jordson but I turn around to ask a friendly question to the receptionist
“Hey, what’s your name by the way?”
“The names Amethyst
“Well I guess I’ll see you at the wedding Amethyst” I say turning around to the escorting filly
“This way Sir” she says begin to walk off
“Come on Applejack and Dash” I say noticing them sitting on the lounge in the lobby
“If you don’t mind me I’ll be stayin’ here until you come back” says Applejack
“Same here… I’ll wait until your finished Shadow” yawns Rainbow Dash ready to fall asleep at any moment
“Alright then” I say following the other filly
We walk through a serious of corridors and rooms before finally reach the main office of Alexia Jordson
“Here we are Sir” says the filly while opening the door
“Thanks”
I walk into Alexia Jordson’s office and see a yellow unicorn with a scarlet red mane
“Hello Mr. Shadow, I hear you are here to pick up a wedding dress for lady Rarity” She says turning to face me
“Yep that’s me” I smile
“Ah… you look a lot different to what I expected you to be” says Alexia in surprise, “how about you sit down and we will work out the paperwork”
“Sure” I say sitting down on a red swirl chair
“Well as you know this dress is the pinnacle of the wedding designer industries and it comes at a high price as well”
“Yeah I know Rarity explained all this to me before I set out for New Yorke”
“Alright this is where sign then” says Alexia Jordson giving me the paperwork and a blue pen.
I begin to sigh the paperwork and hand it back to Alexia when i finished
“Alright follow me then” says Alexia jumping out of her chair
We head down another serious of corridors and rooms until we wind up in a room were the wedding dress of my future wife sat on top of a mannequin.
“Wow…It looks much more spectacular than the pictures” I say in astonishment
“Of course it does…Im the one how made it after all” boasts Alexia
“Rarity will be speechless when she sees this” I say walking around the dress
“Well there is the requirement of payment before you can have the dress” says Alexia getting serious all of a sudden
“Oh yeah sure…How much”
“10,000 bits please”
“Well this should do” I say taking off one of my bags and tipping it out on a nearby table
“Ah Rarity has been saving for years I see” smiles Alexia
“Of course” I smile back
“Well there is 12,000 bits here so you get to keep 2,000 bits” says Alexia placing the remaining two thousand into the bag
“Well… Is there any way I could safely transport this back to PonyVille
“Well there is a carriage company that could take you back to PonyVille from here…Let me give them a call”
Alexia Jordson walks over to the phone and starts punching in the phone number for the carriage company and places the call on speaker
“Hello this is George from New Yorke Carriage Company, we travel to any destination” says George sluggishly
“Hello…I would like to hire a carriage from Alexia Jordson Wedding styles, New Yorke to PonyVille” says Alexia
“Sure we will dispatch a Carriage there right away ma’am… it should be there within five minutes” says George with the same sluggish tone
“Thank you George” says Alexia as it was to lighten up his day, “Well as you heard your carriage will be here soon, so you better go and wait outside for it”
“Yeah…Thanks for the Wedding Dress Rarity will be ecstatic”
“Of course she will be any Fashionesta would be” boasts Alexia
“Hey you never told me how you know Rarity” i say with a interested look on my face
“Well…she has made a couple of dresses for me when I don’t have the time or equipment to use”
“Oh okay…Well thanks again” I say placing the dress across my back carefully so it doesn’t touch the ground
“No worries”
I begin to head back to the main lobby, which felt like it took five minutes to reach
“Alright Dash and Applejack time to go” I say heading directly for the Carriage waiting outside, “we have a town to save”
We carefully place the dress inside the carriage making sure nothing will destroy or harm the dress because if something did Phantom wouldn’t be the one we need to worry about.
I sat beside the dress just in case it fell of the seat with Dash and Applejack sitting on the other side
“Are we ready to go sir” says the carriage driver
“Sure…Is it possible you could get to PonyVille the fastest way possible” I say eager to get back
“Got a case of the fiancé blues?” jokes the driver
“Yeah something like that” I say softly
We begin travelling in the carriage back to PonyVille and according to the position of the sun it was about mid afternoon
“Hey guys, we better get some rest because we have a big fight on our hands tomorrow” I say softly
“Yeah we better” says Applejack leaning up against the left side of the carriage placing her hat over eyes
“Hey Shadow” says Dash softly
“Yeah Dash” I reply while looking down at the ground
“You think about tomorrow” asks Dash
“Yeah…I just hope everypony is okay” I say even softer
“Yeah me to” says Dash, “Well look on the bright side at least you got me and Applejack to help you
“Hmm…I’m sorry for bringing you into all this” i say looking into Dash’s eyes, “It’s all my fault that this is even happening”
“It’s no one’s fault that any pony has the intentions to harm others”
“But, if I never came to PonyVille this Phantom would never have been here and PonyVille would be alright”
“And if you didn’t come to PonyVille, you wouldn’t be getting married in two weeks, you wouldn’t have a little filly coming along, you probably wouldn’t have friends that are as loyal and trustworthy as us.
“Hmm…that’s true” I say a little smile appearing on my face
“Shadow I Promise you when we arrive in PonyVille everything will work out” comforts Dash
“Yeah I hope your right Dash” I reply softly with the thought of Rarity being hurt or worse flowing through my mind
“Well we better get some rest…we don’t want you to be tired again tomorrow”
“Yeah you should try to sleep as well” smiles Dash leaning up against the right side of the carriage
I lean up against the carriage to attempt to get some rest before we arrive in PonyVille, It may have not looked like it at the time but I was scared as hell, not knowing what to expect when we arrived or what I was about to face.

‘Im sorry Rarity, I never should have come to PonyVille and none of this would have happened’ I think to myself, ‘I pray to Celestia you are safe’

We all awake to a shouting Carriage driver
“Hey wake up” shouts the driver
“Hmmm…yeah what is it” I say tiredly
“I can’t take you any further than this it’s too dangerous up ahead” shouts the driver
We all step outside and see the rubble of fallen buildings, trees that have been set ablaze and the sky blackened by the death and destruction of PonyVille, It was one of the most horrific sights any pony should never have to see.
“Hey driver, could you look after the dress in there and you will be rewarded for your efforts”
“Depends on the reward” says the driver seeing how much bits he can get from me
“Hows 1,000 bits sound”
“Alright I’ll look after it but im not going anywhere near that town” says the Driver parking his carriage on the side of the dirt road
“Well you guys read” I say nervously
“Only if yawl are” says Applejack her voice a little shaky
“What about you Dash?”
“Im always ready” says Dash warming up, “so what’s the plan”
“Well…I kind off don’t have one” I reply with a nervous smile on my face
“How about we infiltrate PonyVille stealthily, find out were Phantom is…While I fight Phantom you go and Save the ever pony”
“Alright that outta do” says Applejack
We walk slowly and quietly ducking behind every cover opportunity while we look high and low for Phantom
“Found him yet” whispers Dash
“Nope…Haven’t seen any pony yet” I whisper back while peeking above a bit of rubble
“Well let’s keep searching” adds Applejack
We continue are search around the outskirts of PonyVille and we still haven’t found him or any Pony yet
“Hey Shadow I think we need to look around the center of PonyVille…it seems to be where most of the smoke is coming from” whispers Dash
“Yeah I thought we would have to” I sigh, “alright Applejack, me and you will take the streets and rooftops…and Dash you take to the skies to see if you can find anyone”
“Why do I have to take to the skies” whines Dash
“Cause you’re the fastest Pony in PonyVille even Equestria and you know more evasion maneuvers than I do”
“Yeah I am the fastest Pony in PonyVille” say Dash getting psyched up
“Okay if anyone sees him do this signal” I say doing a couple hoof signals
“Alright got cha” says Dash zooming of into the sky
“Alright lets go” I say taping Applejack on the shoulder
We begin weaving through the empty streets we had previously looked through, taking five to ten seconds in cover to see if anyone is in any houses or buildings. Dash was still sweeping the area for any signs of Phantom or the Ponies of PonyVille
“Anything there Applejack” I say noticing she has been behind cover for too long
“There are noises coming from that house over there” says Applejack pointing at a brown house
“Okay cover me while I search the house” I say rushing over to the front door
I look around the house to see if there were any windows I could look through to see what was inside waiting for us in the house
‘Hmm… No windows…Guess I’ll have to be careful’ I think while signaling Applejack to come over
“Alright Applejack on the count of three we’ll open the door” I whisper to Applejack
“Ready” I say
Applejack gives a nod and I begin counting down from three using my fingers for signals, I reach three and we fling the door open and rush into the house like we were a team of Celestia’s Royal Guards. Within the house were three tied up ponies.
“Applejack help me with this” I say untying the ponies three
“Sure”
I look up at two of the ponies that have their back to me and notice that it was Al from the restaurant and his wife and daughter Sparkle.
“Shadow?” says Al staying up while rubbing his hooves, “What are you doing here”
“Im here to save PonyVille” I smile untying his wife which wouldn’t stop squirming, “have you seen Rarity around?”
“Hmmm…ah yes I saw her within all the chaos she was terrified to the bone” says Al, trying placing a hoof on his wife to calm her down, “I saw her get captured by that brute of a Pony, that attacked before he caught us”
“Did you see which way he took her” I say eagerly knowing she was still alive
“Yeah she was taken to the town square”
“Applejack are you alright to take Al and his family back to your farm…It should be safe there”
“Sure…are you going to be alright” says Applejack with a concerned look on her face
“I’ll be fine…just make sure Al and his Family get to safety” I say walking over to the door, “Make sure you leave her after I have left so you have a better chance to get to safety
“Okay”
I leave out the front door and signal down Rainbow Dash
“What is it Shadow?”
“I found where Phantom is”

“Where is he?” says Dash getting pumped for a fight as if she was facing discord again
“He’s in Town square” I whisper
“Well lets go” says Dash about to rush off
“No Dash…You’re not going to fight him…Your going to help Applejack get people out of PonyVille and take them to her farm”
“But Shadow…you can’t take him on by yourself” says Dash trying to join the fight
“I’ll be fine Dash, just make sure that you get the other to safety” I say looking around the corner to see if any pony was coming
“But you could die, Shadow” says Dash tears welling up in her eyes
“Yeah, I know and if I do make sure you look after Rarity and the baby for me okay” tears beginning to develop in my eyes
“But Shadow” cries Dash as she gives me a hug
“Ommfff” I moan at the impact of Dash’s hug, “Don’t worry Dash…I’ll be fine”
I lean forward and kiss Dash’s forehead
“Now help Applejack escort these people out of PonyVille and any pony else you find”
“Okay Shadow” cries Dash
I trot off running directly for Town square

I rush towards The Town’s square weaving between empty streets and jumping over any rubble and derby in the way.
‘Rarity better be alright’ I thin k to myself, ‘if Phantom has done anything to her….’
I see Town square dead ahead in front of me and I begin to slow my speed down and hide around the corner of a building too see if I can scan the area for Phantom
‘Were is he’ I think to myself looking around to see if I can see Rarity and Phantom
I notice Rarity on her knees with her hooves tied behind her back like Al and his family but she had a cloth tied around her mouth.
‘Probably to stop her from moaning and Whining’ I think to myself
It was only Rarity in the middle of the field with no sign of Phantom around
‘Probably a trap’ I think still looking around just in case, ‘guess it’s time to spring the trap’
I rush over to Rarity still keeping a look out for Phantom
“Rarity you alright” I say untying the ropes that kept her bound
“Shadow” cries Rarity pulling the cloth away from her mouth and wrapping her arms around my neck
“You alright Rarity” I say placing my head against hers
“Im alright but you have to leave before he comes back” says Rarity pulling away her purple mane brushing across my face
“No need to leave Shadow” says a voice from behind me, “How about you stay here and play a game with me”
I turn around and see a tall figure standing in the darkness of the Shadows
“So what you say Shadow…Wanna play” says the figure stepping out of the Shadows revealing the face of the infamous Phantom
“So you’re Phantom” I say standing on my back legs in front of Rarity, “What do you want with me anyway”
“Shadow don’t you remember me” says Phantom, “don’t tell me you forgot all about me”
“Can’t say I remember you” I say looking at him with a crocked face
“Come on Shadow, don’t you remember me from high school” says Phantom with a crazed look on his face
“Josh?” I mutter
“Ding Ding Ding, you win Shadow” giggles Phantom
“But what do you want with me” I say in confusion
“Don’t you remember Shadow…. Remember it was a Monday afternoon we had just finished period 5 Math’s and we were heading out to lunch…you didn’t really know me back then but the local bully Roger did, remember he decided that it was time to get the four hundred dollars I had brought to school that I was going to use to buy a new computer” Says Phantom bring back the memories of high school
“Remember that Roger decide to beat me in front of the entire school not even the teachers or principle would stop the fight…and if it wasn’t for you stepping in I would have been killed and I would never have seen that four hundred dollars I spent months saving up”
“Then why are you trying to kill Shadow for” says Rarity standing up from behind me
“Cause Shadow here promised me that day when ether I need help against bullies you would be there and help me but remember that one day I was been beaten behind the library and where were you…ha were where you…you let me get beaten to a pulp and you and ever since that day I’ve decide that you are my number one enemy in the world”
“But that’s not Shadow’s Fault” yells Rarity
“Oh I left out the important part” says Phantom face hoofing himself, “your knight in shining armor here was at school he was but he decided that I was more appropriate to walk pass me and instead chase after some girl”
“That’s not what happened” I yell
“Lies all Lies” screams Phantom, “now die”
Phantom lunges at me ready to strike me down with a flying punch, it was a simple enough move to dodge but if I did it wouldn’t be me getting hit it would be Rarity. I had to stand my ground and take whatever impact was coming my way
“OMMFF” I moaned as his punch connect with my stomach knocking me onto my knees
“Come on Shadow fight back…it’s more fun when you fight back” shouts Phantom readying another punch aimed at my face
“Rarity Run” I whisper to her
“No point” laughs Phantom
“RUN!!!!” I shout standing up and landing a punch in his face
“Aggh” screams Phantom as he falls back
I turn to see Rarity running but she falls to her knees in pain
“Rarity!” I scream rushing over to her, “What’s wrong” noticing she is holding her stomach
“I don’t wanna alarm you but my water just broke” says Rarity looking into my eyes
“Oh my Celestia Rarity” I say in excitement
“Oh how touching…Shadow’s going to be a father” says Phantom walking over to us both, “Alright im going to be your Celestia or whatever you call your god…Im going to allow you to take your fiancé here to the hospital out of kindness you had shown me that day but come tomorrow at warehouse 22 in canterlot is where we will finish things for good”
Next thing I know a puff of black smoke surrounds were Phantom had just stood
“AGGGHHH, Shadow I need the Hospital NOW” screams Rarity
“Don’t worry Rarity I’ll get you there” I say grabbing Rarity in my forelegs, “Hold on”
I begin to fly with Rarity in my arms as fast as I did when I was racing Dash
“How far away is the hospital from here?” I ask Rarity
“It’s at least a couple of hours and I don’t think we will make it” moans Rarity
“We have to make it” I say trying to fly faster
I suddenly have an idea and change the course of where we are going
“Were are we going Shadow” moans Rarity in more pain
“Were going to Sweet Apple Acres”
“What….Why?”
“Applejack will be able to help because at this rate we won’t make it to the hospital”
“you better be right” moans Rarity squeezing her arms around my neck even tighter
We finely reach Sweet Apple Acres and I burst through their front door where im greeted by Twilight, Dash, Fluttershy and Applejack
“Hey Shadow…What’s wrong with Rarity” asks Twilight
“Well…Rarity’s Water broke and she’s kind of having the baby now” I say
“And why in tarnation did you bring her here for” questions Applejack
“It is too far away to the Hospital in canterlot so I was hoping that any ponies you saved are doctors or nurses” I say looking around the room, “By the way glad to see your all safe but, where is Pinkie Pie?”
“She’s…Um…Keeping the guest occupied” says Fluttershy softly
“Where are the guests” I say to Applejack
“There in the barn” she replies
“Okay I’ll be back soon” I say rushing out the front door into the barn
The barn was crowded with tons of helpless ponies that had survived the attack early this week
“Okay any pony here a doctor” I yell trying to be heard within the crowed
The next thing I hear is Pinkie Pie yell at the top of her lungs “IS ANY PONY HERE A DOCTOR…IF SO GO TO THE FRONT OF THE BARN”
“Thanks Pinkie” I say smiling and nodding in gratitude
I was approached by several doctors within the barn
“So what is the problem” ask one of the doctors
“My fiancé is having a baby right now and I need a doctor immediately”
“Well I don’t deal with pregnancies” said all but one nurse
“Well lucky for you I do” said the cream colored nurse with soft yellow hair
I showed her the way to the house were Rarity laid on the couch panting and moaning at the pain
“Okay step aside” said the Nurse let me do my work, “Okay miss my name is Nurse Jenny im going to help you give birth to your foal…Okay on three push as hard as you can”
“One….two….three”
“AAAAAGGGGHHHHH” moaned Rarity pushing for dear life
“Okay keep pushing… would you mind getting me some towels”
“Sure” said Dash quickly zooming of and come back quickly with a bunch of towels
“Thank you….Keep pushing”
“AGGHHH…Twilight don’t you know a spell that would stop this from hurting so much” moans Rarity
“Im sorry Rarity but I can’t cast any spells that will help during pregnancy because it may affect the baby”
After hours of Rarity screaming and moaning in pain the new born baby was finally delivered
“Congratulations…you have yourself a lovely baby boy” says the Nurse wrapping a towel around the new born
“Oh he’s so cute” said Fluttershy softly
“Shadow we have our own little baby boy” smiles Rarity in excitement, “what are we going to call him?”
“I look outside and see the sun begin to fade away and the moon beginning to rise.
“How about Dusk”
“Dusk…I like that little baby Dusk” smile Rarity rocking Dusk from side to side
“Well I’ll leave you all to it” smiles the nurse leaving through the front door
“You wanna hold him” asks Rarity
“Alright” I say placing little baby Dusk in my arms
“Hey boy, hows it going…” I say tickling his belly while rocking him from side to side
“Hey Rarity if you don’t mind I was hoping to go to bed” I say noticing she has already drifted of to sleep, “guess that answered my question”
“Hey Applejack do you have a crib were Dusk could sleep for the night”
“Yeah we have Applebloom’s ol’ Crib in the guest bedroom” replies Applejack
“Thanks for everything you guys, I mean it I would have made it around PonyVille without all of your help” I say walking off into the guest room
I place Dusk into the old crib and say goodnight before hoping into the guest bed and drifting off to sleep

I awake real early in the morning when every pony else is asleep
‘Oh Celestia I forgot Rarity’s Dress’ I think to myself as I slowly get out of bed
“Hey Dusk make sure you look after mummy for me alright” I say walking over to the crib, “make sure you grow up big and strong like you father okay…I’ll see you later”
I kiss the top of Dusk’s head and silently walk out of the room.
I open the guest bedroom door and I bump into a purple pony
“Im sorry twilight” I say helping her up of the ground
“No worries, but where are you going” questions twilight
“I have to go to canterlot on business but I got to make a quick stop off” I lie to twilight
“Well I could help you get to where you have to go” smile twilight
“Uh sure” I say nervous about what she will do
“But don’t you wanna say goodbye to Rarity first”
“Na I think it would be best if she didn’t know I was gone for now, she would only try to stop me” I say silently walking out side
“Alright but where are you going?”
“You’ll find out sooner or later”
“Alright then” sighs Twilight, “let’s go”
Twilight begins casting one of her spells; I could see her horn light up with a light raspberry aura surrounding her entire horn with beams of light raspberry beaming out
All of a sudden we are teleported to Canterlot Warehouse 22.
“Aghh” I moan feeling a little dizzy
“Yeah every pony feels that way after teleporting” smiles Twilight
“Good to know im not the only one” I say my vision finally no longer spinning
“So what are you here for?” asks Twilight changing the subject
“I know within that warehouse is where the time portal is being built and I know that you’re going to go back to Sweet Apple Acres and look after Rarity for me…Okay”
“But what are you doing here?” persist Twilight
“I will explain later” I say walking over to the warehouse doors
“Oh by the way could you go and pick up Rarity’s dress for me that I left in the carriage…it’s outside of PonyVille and give him this” I say tossing a my saddle bag that had the one thousand bits in
“Sure” smiles twilight before teleporting off
‘Alright time to do this’ I think before opening the warehouse doors
I open the warehouse doors allowing the sunlight to peer through the warehouse bring light to the old, dark and abounded warehouse.
“Okay where are you” I yell into the darkness
“Im waiting here Shadow” laughs Phantom from deeper in the warehouse
I walk deeper into the warehouse as the light began to grow dime, looking for a light switch to light up this warehouse
“Agh Shadow...Lets play a little game” giggles Phantom running past me as he turns on all the lights within the warehouse
“Alright you wanted to fight here…so let’s do it” I say standing back on my hind legs ready to fight
“Not yet Shadow….I wanna show you something” says Phantom pulling a cloth of a hidden machine
“Uh so this is the time portal” I say in surprised over how big it actually was
“Yeah this is it…Now let’s bring some life to it” says Phantom turn the portal on
“Now the rules for this fight are as followed” says Phantom like he is some kind of referee, “this match is a No disqualification match for one fall… and however loses this match must leave PonyVille forever”
“Well you better say your goodbyes Phantom” I say getting ready for the fight
Phantom begins to charge at me like he did yesterday but I was able to dodge while countering with a swift punch to his left kidney and going for another shot to the exposed left abdomen
“Hmm…you’re not that good of a fighter” I say picking him up of the ground and holding him centimeters of the ground
“That’s where your wrong biarch” says Phantom as his eyes flash into a dark red
Phantom knocks my hoofs away from his neck and punches me square in the face, I groan in pain as my back collides against the hard surface of the wall.
“So you see Shadow you’re not the strong one here… You’re just a pathetic excuse of a pony” yells Phantom kicking me in the stomach not allowing me to get up.
I hit the ground in agony still wheezing from the first kick
“Come on Shadow…Get up” says Phantom kicking me again in the stomach, “Here I will help you”
Phantom lifts me of the ground with his unicorn magic leaving his blood red aura around me and a in a split second he tosses me across the warehouse make me collide with boxes and shelves along the way
“Come on Shadow” screams Phantom levitating me of the ground once more, “FIGHT ME!”
Phantom continues his assault by tossing me repeatedly around the room. He finally comes to a stop allowing me to regain a strength I could muster to fight back.
“Okay Shadow” laughs Phantom levitating me ones again of the floor that had been Staind with my own blood, “Time for you to leave”
I could feel his power increasing rapidly as he was about to throw me through the portal….but I began to feel something unusual taking away the pain I felt throughout my entire body, the bruises that covered my back and arms began to disappear, my strength began to return. I felt as I had regained all my health and I noticed that same red aura that appeared while racing Dash had turned into pure black.
“Wha….what’s happening” says Phantom trying to control what is going on
“AHHHHHHH” I scream as the blood red aura that once held me disappeared into thin air
“No… No this can’t be happening” Says Phantom terrified of me
My eyes locked onto a cowering Phantom and he could notice the anger through the mad expression on my face and the black aura flowing across my body as I stood on my hind legs
“You said you wanted to fight” I smile with an evil grin as I move closer to Phantom, “Now fight me”
“I lung at Phantom with quick speed landing a punch directly in his stomach causing him to fall to his knees, I grab his head in my hooves and bring his head down onto my knee as I move it towards his skull, knocking Phantom directly on his back. I walk over to Phantom and pick his lifeless body of the ground and hold him an inch of the ground and proceed to pummel him as I hold him in one hoof before I throw him into a nearby crate walk over to where a Phantom laid on top of the pieces of broken wood I picked him back up again.
“Come on Phantom…you wanted a fight” I laugh “and you’re not even fighting back”
I toss him in front of the portal casing his head to bang on the left side of the device. I walk over and kick him directly in the stomach and pick up a steel pipe lying across from me
I was about to hit Phantom directly in the face until I hear a familiar voice screaming from behind me
“Shadow?” screamed the scared familiar voice
The pure black aura that surrounded my body began to disappear at the sound of Rarity’s Voice
“Shadow what are you doing” says Rarity backing away from me as I walked closer to her, “this isn’t the colt I came to love…he doesn’t harm or kill other ponies no matter how evil they may be”
“But Rarity” I say walking closer to her even though she still backed away
“No Shadow, I…” Rarity was cut off as she was levitated of the ground and lifted towards the portal
“Hahaha” Laughs Phantom, “you didn’t think it would be that easy did you”
“Phantom” I screamed as I began to run over to save Rarity
“ah ah ah… come any closer and your fiancé won’t be around in PonyVille no longer” toys Phantom bringing Rarity closer to the portal leaving her only a couple inches away from it
“PHANTOM LET HER GO….SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS” I scream
“Ah but she does” laughs Phantom with an insane look growing across his face, “See when you wouldn’t fight I was getting quite bored and frustrated so I thought it would be fun to let you get angry and knock me around abit”
“Why would you do that you insane prick” I scream
“As I said, I was bored and know since Rarity came running along, I thought we could have some fun” says Phantom with one of his hooves holding a blood red ball of energy
“Just leave her out of this… you win”
“Ah but what would that achieve” says Phantom throwing the ball of energy at me
Unable to dodge the attack it knocked me further away from Rarity nearly making me land near the warehouse entrance.
“SHADOW” Cries Rarity running over to me but being stopped by Phantoms powers
“Now where was I” says Phantom
“Agh” I moan coughing up a little bit of blood
“Oh yes…Rarity say hi to the Humans on earth for me okay” says Phantom throwing a ball of energy towards Rarity.
“NO RARITY” I scream as I got up of the ground
I don’t know what it was that came over me but the dark black aura appeared again, it was probably out of pure anger and desperation that Rarity was in danger. It felt as if time had slowed down as I began running down the isle of the warehouse; it was incredible how fast I began to run as Rarity became closer and closer to going through the portal. I finally made it to where Rarity was standing pushing her out of the way of the incoming red orb.
I didn’t have enough time to dodge the attack myself, allowing the energy ball to knock me flying into the portal. It still felt like time was going slowly as I head towards my fate, not knowing what awaited me back on earth. I could see Rarity crying as she watched her fiancé about to be gone forever with no way to come back.
“I love you Rarity” I yell as I hit the portal

The only thing I could remember was the darkness I saw as I travelled back to earth and all I could think about was Rarity, not being able to see her beautiful face her lovely bouncing purple mane and never see those sparkling beautiful purple eyes that would peer inside my heart that had belonged to Rarity, never be able to hold our new born son Dusk ever again. I probably would never be able to live my life feeling the same way I did when I was in PonyVille or with Rarity ever again. I was going to miss everything about Equestria from how the moon and sun were raised during the night and morning to Rarity’s Carousel Boutique and the life I had back in PonyVille, never to experience such friendship that me and Dash had ever again or compassion and generosity that Rarity showed me when I first came to PonyVille.

I awoke to the sound of crashing waves against the rocks and the cliffs that stood within the water. I try to look around but I could on see the blur of everything around me, hoping I was only teleported somewhere else within Equestria. I rolled onto my back and looked up to the blue sky as my vision started to come back to its original perspective.
“No I can’t be back” I mumble.
