A Breeze of Death (One Day Ago)
Yesterday we had the biggest surprise party ever. We were all living life normally, by normally i mean trying to survive, then all the sudden a breeze went by, ponies flesh began to rot and melt as our fur was falling off, not a good day. we all took refuge in any nearby building we can make it to. Some ponies were too slow and didn't make it, they melted on the spot as they screamed in pain and in horror as they watched others melt too. Some have furless spots and burns on their body. There was even three lunatics who yelled they couldn't live like this anymore and jumped out of shelter just to kill them selves. After all this the death toll here was about 26 deaths and almost every pony in the town had an injury except for the lucky ones already inside a house.
The weird thing is that no one seemed to notice that the wind was not even at all hot, it was magic. I'm guessing no pony noticed because of all the shock. I noticed because being an alicorn who studies magic most of her time can sense this stuff. I haven't actually told any pony that I sensed magic in the wind because it'll only bring more shock and chaos to this town, I don't know how I'm going to tell any pony, but I do know they need to know soon because this magical wind is telling me one thing and that's that this is all not natural, this was caused by some pony. It has to be some pony in Canterlot because it is the only safe place and it seems like the city was prepared for this, the city's barrier went up just as everything started. Princess Celestia must be incapacitated because she would know who in the city did this and would obviously not allow this.
Once I figure out how the hell I'm going to tell the others that some pony is behind this and all the shock is gone, I'm going to get my four friends and think up a plan on how we're getting into Canterlot and figure out what is going on. My friends and I are basically the leaders of the village because of everything we've done to save Equestria in the past. Even though we keep a very fair rule and make great choices to help this town stay together it feels like the town is falling apart to soon be complete anarchy. When that happens my friends and I must do everything we can to bring back the order, if we can't then we pack our bags and leave. I'm just waiting for that to happen, that's why I better work up the courage to tell the others that the wind was magical before that happens.
About a week ago everything went to hell. The air became hard to breath and eventually some couldn't breath at all and they dropped down dead on the street. Some are a bit more immune to it though and managed to survive long enough to get gas mask and survive, mask were limited though. Some would fight for mask and some would fight to give their children mask, the losers would slowly suffocate. Most children were given mask no fight needed, but we still needed adults alive, so not all children got one. There are lucky ponies though who grow fast immunity to the air and don't need a mask to survive, all of which end up going insane and start killing ponies. Then there are the very unlucky ponies who don't just suffocate, but some parts of their body go limp and stop working about a minute before they die, and some have parts of their body completely explode in a disgusting, bloody, and painful burst.
My friends and I were the lucky ones who grew some immunity and managed to get a mask, all except for one, Rarity. She will be missed, but that's what happens when your not strong enough to reject your family. I don't have any family left that I know of so i can't say how hard it is to say no to your little sister, yeah she got a mask but stupidly gave it to Sweetie Belle, and she still died from insane everyday pony eating assholes. They ripped the mask right of her face and watched her eyes explode then suffocate, then they ate her body for dinner.
We don't know how we will survive in the long run, but we do know that Canterlot is the only place with fresh air, the fresh air is what we care about most out of everything we still need, we will survive if we make there. Getting to Canterlot isn't easy though and getting in is even harder, the guards say there isn't infinite fresh air but we all know that's bullshit. We've sent about three ponies to Canterlot only one came back with a mauled body and sad news saying we can't get in. Two days later she died. We also got a letter saying "Fuck off, your not getting in" after we sent our last scout which never came back. We will find a way in though no matter what, we need air and we need to talk to Celestia to figure what the hell is going on.
We will have to be satisfied with Ponyville till then. It's not all that bad here. We have some control and order here, we have trash walls, guns, enough food for now, water, and we all work together well. Yet this place is still shit and we need to get into Canterlot soon, but that's not even my biggest worry, the small order we have here is falling apart doomed to anarchy. When that happens things are going to get worse.
