One day, Celestia summons the Mane 6 to talk about their hyperactive friend, Pinkie Pie.
She tells them of her past, her real parents and what she can do.

Every day, she tells them of something new Pinkie can do. But the Mane 6 doubt this. She's just Pinkie, right? And then one day, The Diamond Dogs attack Rarity

The next morning, after they had all rested up and eaten, the Mane 6 returned to the throne room where Celestia and Luna where waiting for them. "Good morning" greeted Luna dipping her head to them. They bowed back. "Today you will be learning Pinkie Pie's first power-speed"

Rainbow Dash choked back a laugh "What? I've outflown Pinkie Pie. Rarity outran her once. You cannot tell me that one of her powers in speed" she guffawed. The others nodded in agreement. Celestia simply raised her eyebrows and shot a beam of magic at the screen.

It was Pinkies home- the rock farm. Suddenley a bright pink blur raced bye. Rarity,Applejack and Rainbow Dash missed it because they blinked ever so slightly. Twilight saw though "Pinkie Pie" she gasped jumping up. Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Applejack looked confused.

"What?" asked Rainbow squinting at the screen like it would answer everything. Just then the scene changed, it showed Pinkie Pie as a young filly racing full out, the world blurring behind her. Slowly, the air seemed to compress around Pinkie and she shot forward. Zooming out, it revealed a pink and white trail zooming across the farm and all across her town, the scene changed, showing the pink streak running past the castle, before doubling back the way it came. Nearing the rock farm, the blur skidded to a stop just in front of the door and Pinkie walked calmly inside.

Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped "s-she did an earth pony version of the sonic rainboom h-h-how fast is she?" she asked eyes wide

Twilight who was looking at the ground spoke up "Rainbow Dash, you can go up to mach 1.1 in speed" said pony puffed out her chest "but Pinkie was able to travel all across Equestria, so she can run at mach 5-6, maybe even faster. I have to research this when I get back" she exclaimed excitedly.

Princess Celestia looked up "what if I told you that that was Pinkie Pie jogging?" The Mane 6's mouths fell open.

"That would mean- That would mean Pinkie Pie can go up to mach 8?" quavered Twilight. The Princess' nodded solemnly. "So she can time travel, run on water, phase through objects and-" Princess Luna cut them off

"It means that when Pinkie Pie became Fili Second, she was slowed down, not sped up" said Luna calmly "now that's all for today. You can go to your bed chambers and discuss it."

"The second I get back to Equestria, I am challenging Pinkie Pie to a race" said Rainbow collapsing on the bed

The Mane Six, or five as Pinkie Pie wasn't there, galloped into Celestia's castle. Rushing into the throne room, they all fell to their knee's, even Twilight who is an Alicorn now.

"What is so important that we don't need Pinkie Pie. Is something really serious about to happen. Ohhh" Rainbow Dash sucked in her breath "you're planning a surprise party for her aren't you?"

"Uh Rainbow Dash, dearest, I think you have been spending too much time with Pinkie Pie" Said Rarity, concerned. Rainbow scratched the back of her head and nodded in mute confirmation.

"Princess Celestia, what is wrong? And why isn't Pinkie Pie here?" asked Twilight Sparkle, Celestia's faithful student.

"We think it is time for you to learn of Pinkies Past and her powers" said Princess Luna walking up to them.

The Mane 6 exchange looks "I'm sorry Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, but Pinkie Pie doesn't have any powers. Sure, she's a bit quirky but other than that she's a normal, if energetic pony" Twilight said, her friend's nodding in agreement.

"No my sister is right, Pinkie does have powers" confirmed Celestia, much to the Mane 6's shock. " You five are going to spend the next few days learning of Pinkies past and her powers. Pinkie right now will be asleep for a few days until this is all done. After this, you will undertsand her better."

Celestia shot a pink and green light out of her horn at a blank wall. The light expanded into a perfect square. Celestia teleported in front of it. "Two million years ago, when Discord tried to take over Equestria and me and Luna here stopped him, he had a brother, a unicorn to be exact. His name was Light Shade, and because he was related to Discord, he was discriminated against. Eventually he settled down to have a foal." The screen showed a young filly with bright blue eyes and a light green coat.

"She had a foal, then he had a foal and so on until" a picture of a filly came up. The Mane 6 gasped. The filly in front of them had light green eyes but other than that, looked exactly like Pinkie Pie "this is Pinkie Pie's real mother"

Applejack squinted at the princess 'so if that's Pinkies real mother then who the hey was that pony on the rock farm who Pinkie called her mother?"

Celestia sighed "when Pinkie was two, ponies who were still mad about Discord tracked down her parents and killed them." Shocked gasps emanated around the room. "Igneous and Cloud took Pinkie Pie in as their own. Haven't you ever noticed how grey the rest of the Pie family is while Pinkamena is Pink? Yeah, well she's not their foal, she never was, and she knows this. She also knows that she is a descendant from Discord. This is going to explain how she does the things we will tell you about tommorow. For now, the guard have set up bed chambers for you, so off you go."

As they were walking out, Rainbow Dash whispered "who the hay is Pinkamena?" Twilight just facehoofed.

"The next power Pinkie Pie has" Celestia wasted no time. The second they had stepped into the room she had begun. "Strength."

AppleJack cocked her head to the side. The last video had shown her not to underestimate what Pinkie Pie can do but still..... strength? "Aren't all earth ponies strong?"

Celestia nodded,acknowledging AppleJack's question. "They are, but Pinkie Pie is stronger than most." Without another word she shot a beam of light at the screen.

The scene showed a rocky mountain. Maude and Pinkie were walking up it.

"Pinkie, I still don't think it's a good idea to put rocks in cakes,"Maude said in her dull,flat voice,looking at her little sister.

Pinkie smiled "of course it is,I just need to find the right type of rock.Oooh how about that one?" Pinkie Pie hopped over to a crystal blue stone. She unlodged it from the crevice."I have the mythical,the powerful Stone of Truth and-" The tiny stone,which had just been taken out was holding up a huge boulder.Without it... "Uh oh" gulped Pinkie Pie.

The huge stone came hurtling down,straight for Maude and Pinkie.The boulder landed with a loud thump.

"Noo!" wailed Fluttershy
"Pinkie!Maude!" screamed Rainbow Dash.

The scene changed. It showed Maude with a Hoof over her head to protect herself. Her eyes were closed. After a few seconds,she opened them to find Pinkie Pie holding the boulder on her back, no problem. "Pinkie?" whispered Maude. Pinkie grinned "hang on." Pinkie threw the boulder a mile into the air before jumping up after it and smashing it to pieces,just like Maude had done when she had visited.

The boulder parts,now pebbles fell to the ground.Pinkie landed as well,walked up to Maude and gave her a rock. "Here you go,I named him boulder." The scene ended with Maude staring down at boulder and smiling.

"Wow,note to self,never Ever challenge Pinkie Pie to an iron pony competition" AppleJack said to RainbowDash
