Bewitched Amore and Nightmare moon. A poisonous duo, even more powerful than Celestia or Twilight, and Cadence and Luna. In some cases.
The world of Equestria is under threat of being transformed into a dark world, saturated into colour balances of blue, black and purple.
The Elements of harmony contained, and soothed into a world of darkness; Its holders' minds bound by evil.
"There can only be one princess of Equestria!" Luna had once said.
There is only one princess of Equestria now…and it's not Luna.

Red light illuminated Twilight's bleary field of vision as she awoke with a reluctant start. Her heart pounding, she focused on her room - it was like a oddly-shaped punch bowl filled with red juice, only it didn't look so appetizing. The crystal floor glittered ominously. Wind chimes tinkled in the distance. The moon was blood red. Wait, what?! WHAT!? "Oh no!" Twilight said at a volume of a whisper. "Oh no. Nonononono. No no no." The moon can't be red, it wasn't red for years...

Twilight scrambled out of bed, hitting the floor and bruising her right wing in the process. (''Nonononono-ow-!'')She limped, then remembering she had a horn, strained her mind, possibly breaking a vein, or cricking her neck. She teleported to the library, again making contact with the floor after a series of incoherent words. Magicking a pile of books onto the floor around,(with a tremendous thud; Spike continued to snore,) Twilight Sparkle skimmed through them all, tossing the rejected books obliviously onto the floor. "Blood moon...Blood moon...AHA!"

The purple alicorn searched through the chapter several times, however missing the point several times due to anxiety.

"The blood moon is a old omen, greatly feared by the inhabeta-inhabitants of Equestria. Even a cow would shudder at its colour. Blah blah blah...omen of a...possibly fatal occurrence...? Seriously, did a filly write this?" Twilight scowled at the book(there were quite a few spelling errors) and pulled out a quill. She fiercely crossed out several feeble words and spelling attempts before noticing the predicament she was in. The pony laughed nervously and, rocking backwards and forwards, looked up at the ceiling. Breathing quite heavily, she muttered, "Go to Celestia? Go to bed? Was this real? Am i crazy? Is the book even non-ficti-"

BOOM.

A distant bomb-like sound rippled through the night, with an accompaniment of the magical tinkle of glitter. Sparks that emitted a soft light erupted around Twilight, before feebly and calmly swirling onto the floor, like graceful snowflakes.

Meanwhile, in this confusion, an alicorn mare's eyes flared as she plunged into a sea of another consciousness, her physical form lifeless on the crystal floor...

"What the heck is going on?" A deep feminine voice, riddled with emotions of fear and confusion, cut through Twilight's senses. Mist and fireworks filled her closed eyes. She felt like she was underwater, however her mind was floating, the gentle path of water guiding her into a tunnel...

"WHO ARE YOU? HEEEEEEEEEELP!"
