//-------------------------------------------------------// The Secret Life of Ponies -by Cupcakesfilly- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Am I Alone? //-------------------------------------------------------// Am I Alone? From Rainbow Dash's Journal Hey. My name is Rainbow Dash. Never figured out exactly why, but I assumed it was my mane. It's so short that I can't even see it. Never seen a mirror, either. Or a rainbow. My coat only seems to be a single shade of blue. Sad, I guess. Whatever, I'm bad at writing sob stories anyway. Besides, I should probably stop before my human sees me. Catch you later. Yeah, Ok. I'm back. Human's sleeping. I'll be safe for the next 8 hours. I just remembered why I'm writing this piece of horseapples, to let everyone know what has happened in Ponyville. Well, more like Humanville now. Not even sure how the ugly things got here. Not like I care or anything. They took all the ponies. Forced them to breed. Afterwards, they killed off the stallions. Only kept the mares alive until their foals were born. Then they were all starved. Eventually died. I suppose they just wanted to start off with a fresh batch of ponies. See, he told me all this, just to intimidate me. Stupid. I wonder if all humans are as bright as him. Nevermind. Uh, now it's just us. Us foals. We are strong. We will conquer. Strong can be all suited up in a black, tight leash. Time for walkies. Yep, human is getting that sad old reminder of my captivity. Bye, I guess. Human is mad at me. I stood in one spot too long. I was watching somepony. A pegasus, tall with a butter-colored coat. Pink, silky mane. Hope I can see her again. Uh- oh. I hear that human coming down the hallway. Gotta run. Stinkin' human beat me! Right against the flank with a stick. It struck just hard enough to leave a mark. Ah well, not much damage done. No real reason to hit me either. That's the thing. He just seems to get a kick out of hurting me. I should be thankful for that, I mean, he could have gotten a knife or something. I hate my life anyway. Ah, human's not important anyway. Better get back on track, to the topic of that filly. I thought I was alone. Seriously. I have never seen anypony in our neighborhood. Just stupid, ugly humans. Seems pretty crazy that all of a sudden, a foal popped up. If another pony really lives here, though, then at least this town isn't totally deserted. Not everypony's dead. This gives me hope. Today my human kicked me. Hard. I was just sitting on the couch, minding my own business, when suddenly- boom! He pushed me off and I tumbled onto the floor. Then- smack! He just kicked me across the room. He plopped down on the same couch and turned on the TV, laughing to himself. He sucks. I got into the fridge late at night. I found some sweet potatoes and brown rice. Perfect. I ate it all up, even after I was full, just ate and ate and ate. Globs of mushy food were forced down my throat. It hurt me to do that, but the pain was a small price to pay. I continued to consume the copious amount of food. The stolen meal eventually disappeared. I licked my chops to get any stray remains into my stomach. I realized I had to pee. Didn't matter anyway, I could hold it until morning. I need to get some rest. I woke up early this morning to the pressure rapidly growing in my gut. Great. Now I'd gotten to my least favorite part of the plan. I dragged my sorry (and supposedly multicolored) tail down the quiet hallway. I stopped at the door to my human's room. My human's room. Wow. I'm pretty brave. I entered the room and leapt onto the bed, fluttering my powerful wings so I didn't wake the human. Y'know, by landing too hard. I fearlessly assessed the situation once more. My fur stood up on end. I felt alive for once. Just a taste of victory. Enough "assessing". Time for action. I tapped my human's shoulder just hard enough to wake him, using great precision. Then, I used the sweetest voice I could muster to say the magic words: "Human, cood we pwease go fa walkies?" He muttered and rose from bed. YES. I lifted my hooves in glee. Success! Outside (yep, outside!) the human seemed drowsy and distracted. Nice. The growing pains in my abdomen forced me to once again take action. I lifted my tail and backed up against the human's leg. Time to release the sea monster. I emptied my body of all that food, the torrent of waste completely coating my human's leg with my, uh, excretion, so to speak. Man, fiber always gives me the trots. Well, it made him look at least a little better. He was stupid, but not that stupid, as he took notice of the present I left for him. He tossed me on the ground and stepped on my ribs. Ok, that one was new. Painful, too, but I could handle it. I mean, I'm Rainbow Dash. He said some stuff I couldn't care less about, all I knew was that his sentences were decorated with swear words. He dragged me back inside, probably planning a punishment or something. Unimportant. Now we wait. He tossed the leash in my room, still attached to me. He then scowled and waddled pitifully to the bathroom. Now we wait yet again. I grabbed this book of mine here in my mouth. Alright, now something you might not have picked up on was the fact that this human here was stupid. Also, rage blinds the one who is stupid. Man, just came up with that on the spot! I took one look at the front door and smirked. Open. No more waiting. I bounded out that door with a new bounce in my trot. Now to find that pony. Time to prove that I'm not alone. //-------------------------------------------------------// Am I Crazy? //-------------------------------------------------------// Am I Crazy? From Rainbow Dash's Journal I finally made it out of that house. The one I've lived in for years. The one I've always hated. Smelled bad. Like drying paint. Oh, how I hated that never-ending stench. Still hate it, actually. Wait. Aw, great, now I can remember it. Almost smell it, too. Ugh. Well, now there's a new smell. The kind that can drive away any bad one. Including drying paint. The smell of concrete, the smell of grass, the smell of victory. I'd experienced two of those three scents before, but the third makes 'em better. So much better. Wow. The wonders of plain and simple liberty. Oh, I feel good. Yep, it's that feeling again, the prideful one. It really makes me feel... I don't know. Good. Prideful, I guess. Man, I suck at writing. I like that new feeling for real, though. Starting to get a bit warmed up to it. Er, gotta focus, though. Eyes on the prize. I had to find that filly, the one with the butter fur. I would scale any mountain, cross any sea, search every corner of the world for her. A good plan. Yes. Wait. D'oh, whatever, I know what I mean. From Fluttershy's Diary Hello, Diary. Today I saw a pony. She had a rainbow-colored mane. She looked like she was, um, pooping on her Daddy's leg. That's strange. I wonder why she would do such a thing. I have an idea, though... From Rainbow Dash's Journal Yep, caught a scent. It's faint, but it's something. I put my muzzle to the ground and followed it. It was just a stupid dropped bag of peanuts. Perhaps I've finally gone mad. Wait. Agh, since when do I say perhaps!? Ugh, I have no idea what I'm doing now. The nuts led me to some houses, guess I'll search here. Because why the buck not? From Fluttershy's Diary She's here. The pony with the rainbow mane. Right outside my window. I wonder what she's doing here. And what she did back there. I'm starting to get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. From Rainbow Dash's Journal I heard a noise. Well, I've been hearing noises, but you know. Yep, that pegasus. I should never doubt my senses. Gonna go get her. Somehow... From Fluttershy's Diary She just looked at me, no, stared at me. It made me feel even more uneasy. Oh, I don't know what she wants! She's just circling the house. I think she's stalking us. Mommy and I. Could she hurt us somehow? Oh, it's really scaring me now. I don't like this feeling. And I know this feeling. From Rainbow Dash's Journal Yeah, no way to get in. Figures. I'll just have to get her attention. Bet I'll be good at that one, heh. From Fluttershy's Diary Now she's shouting at me! I guess I'll have to talk to her, before Mommy wakes up. I can be brave. Hopefully... From Rainbow Dash's Journal She's coming outside. Success yet again! Man, I'm just on a roll today! From Fluttershy's Diary I went outside to face the foal. She seemed very brash, talking about her "awesomeness" and "keen senses". I'm not sure if I like her or not. And I like everypony. She said she wanted to stay at my home. I'm not sure if Mommy would like that. I told her, but she didn't seem happy with that answer. I hope she wasn't mad at me. I don't like when anypony is mad at me... From Rainbow Dash's Journal Yeesh, that Fluttershy is getting WAY too attached to the human in there. That's dumb. And crazy. I'm sorry, but it is. I wonder if she is being brainwashed or something. Food for thought. Oh, yeah, and I'm sleeping on the streets tonight, I guess. "Mommy's" gonna be mad if I come inside. Screw this "Mommy". From Fluttershy's Diary My motto has always been "be nice, no matter if anypony can be trusted". I have a few more little mantras, but that one must be somewhere at the top of the list. I really don't think I trust Rainbow Dash, but she must have faith in me. Must. After all, she came to me before anypony else. Maybe she saw me earlier today. I doubt it, though. But she came to me. Scardey me. That must count for something. She even called me "Flutter-Butter". The nickname is cute. I like it. From Rainbow Dash's Journal I don't trust that pony at all. She just left me out in the cold. Man, I would've worked something out for her. I bet she's crazy. For all I know, I could be crazy. Doesn't matter, I kinda like crazy. But she just turned me away, like she doesn't care. Jeez. That's just mean. Sure, it may still be light out, but tonight will be the first night out on the hard streets. Wish me luck. This world is stupid. Bored, gonna preen myself. Because why the buck not. Could maybe solve my problems again. From Fluttershy's Diary I'll keep an eye on that pony. She's preening right now. Right in front of me. Wow. I feel bad for her, and now I've made up my mind. I'll get her a blanket and stay out there. I just don't want to wake Mommy. I might be crazy to sleep out there, but Rainbow will protect me. I have faith in her. Besides, crazy might not be so bad. I kind of like crazy. I think I am crazy. Author's Note Yep, next chapter. I noticed that this was getting a lot of dislikes, but every comment seemed positive. So I guessed the reason (or main reason) was because of the fact that Rainbow Dash's human was so incompetent that he left the door open JUST to advance the plot. Don't worry, I'm going somewhere with this. It's probably set to fail now, but drawing's always been my favorite hobby anyway. Writing can wait. :ajsleepy: https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/ajsleepy.png On a lighter note, this got a lot of faves and some likes too. Thanks for that. https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png
