MLP Next Generation: The First Four

While Pinkie and Cheese were getting ready for their second foal, Rarity and Spike were getting ready for a foal of their own. It is the first foal they were having. They were very nervous-cited. "What if it's a dragon and not a pony?" Spike asked one day,"Twilight said when I was a baby I was harder to take care of than a foal!"

From where she was making cute (gender neutral) clothes for their baby, Rarity responded with "Don't worry, no matter what it will be our little foal."

"If you say so," Spike answered.

A full grown purple and green dragon paced the halls in front of the delivery room. When the doctor came and went into the room, Spike ran in front of the bed and hissed at the doctor. From outside, Twilight used her magic to pull Spike out of the room. "Spike! Don't do that! The doctor isn't going to hurt her! He is just going to take care of Rarity and the baby!" Twilight said. For what felt like years for Spike, Rarity was in the delivery room. Finally, he was allowed back in, in the hospital bed he saw the most beautiful sight. There was Rarity with a baby in her hooves.

Spike asked the doctor quietly, " What did we get, is it a pony or a dragon?"

The doctor looked between Spike and Rarity then at his chart and responded with "Both?"

At this Spike said "We had twins?!"

The doctor quickly shook his head and answered "No. You had a Dragon-Pony hybrid."

Next to him Twilight said, "That will be interesting," and chuckled. When they got closer they saw it was a white unicorn/dragon hybrid with a purple mane. They decided to name him Quartz.
