I'm 18 and senior in high school... oh also i'm one of 7 kids to be national government ninja (more on that later). It was the first day of the last year of high school who couldn't be more excited. most of the time I act like the cool girl with the leather jacket but in real life I work real hard on my education so i can get in to one of the top music schools and become a dj (lame dream right well don't judge). Anyway i woke up in a haze of what was going on I slowly sat up and wiped the drool of my face. Slowly looked at the clock it was 8:30 I was supposed to be at school by 9:00 my mode went into hipper drive "OH NO!!". I jumped out of my bed slipping on my skate bored and falling on my back. "what is it this time?" my annoying older brother yelled from down stairs "SHUT UP!!" I yelled back. I garbed my clothes and ran into the shower and quickly ran out brushed my hair and teeth took My bag and ran to the kitchen were my mom was cleaning up breakfast "want A ride" she asked i always loved my moms eyes a nice hazel unlike mine a weird purple why not want purple eyes you ask well, its weird... moving on. "ill ride my motorcycle" I side my mom shot me a look she didn't like me ridding my motorcycle. I rolled my eyes "fine". after the ride I was about to say bye when she asked "'you now we got a letter from Fresno college-" i cut her off "mom i told you i'm not going their" i side annoyed yes i live in Fresno don't judge, she looked disappointed "ok love ya'" i smiled "love ya to". I ran off it was 8:58 i had to get to class in two minutes I had one of the early classes and some of the late class kids were in the hallway I was running so fast i accidentally bumped into some one and fell on top of him. He looked surprised a group of girls were laughing at the awkward possession we were in. I didn't have time for this "ugh uh sorry!!" i jumped off him and kept on running. It felt like I was so fast I could fly i ran past some guy who had a bunch of weird papers they all fell "SORRY!!" i yelled he said something unreadable I kept on running i made it to class 5 seconds after the bell. Unlucky for me the teacher was a snob "MS,LIGHTS!!!!!!" she yelled in her fake British accent everyone looked at me "uhh sorry" I said she stunk her nose in the air "WELL WITH SUCH ATTITUDE YOU WONT MINED HAVING DETENTION!!!" my body fell "no miss, snot" she shout me a look "i'm mean miss snout" she smiled "NOW TO THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION" At the end of the day I was about to walk home when ms,snot walked up to me "MS, LIGHTS I SUSPECT YOUR ON YOUR WAY TO DETENTION ?" "yes ms,snout". I walked to the gym where 6 other kids who i recognized vary easily first was my best friend Chloe she had long beautiful ombre hair and a hyper personality, second was Beca she had a perfect face and long smooth black hair and was one of the most popular girls in the school, third was Penelope no one new anything about her she had silk golden hair, forth was josh Becas boy friend number one football star and most popular guy at this school some say his hair is real gold and some are stupid, fifth was Dan the guy with all the papers hes a A plus student has dark skin and brown hair, last was the guy I bumped into he had dark messy hair like mine. oh I forgot you don't now what I look like I have shout dark messy hair that's always parted to the side right now I was wearing my favorite t-shirt from my favorite band jeans my boots and leather jacket. Their was a group of chairs in a circle every one was siting there was one set left for me. The teacher sat in a well chair reading a book I sat next to the boy I bumped into, he handed me my phone with my skull phone case "i think think this belongs to you" he said "yea sorry about you now the thing" I side with a half smile before he could say any thing the teacher spoke up, she had dark skin and hair pined up in a bun. "ok for detention this week since no one volunteered you lucky seven will plan the bake to school dace" she handed us a pink book with DACE PLANS in big letters on the cover "the budget is in the book spend wisely" she went back to her book but before she did she looked at everyone and gave a smile as if everything was going as planed. Chloe was the first to speak "SOOOO LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!" she had a big gofey smile "well..." said Dan opening the book and pulling out a pencil, then Beca interrupted "don't care!!" she side pulling out a nail file "can you care about something other then fashion" I asked a little annoyed "yea" side the boy i bumped into "oh typical for you to love birds to come to each others side" she side in a taunting manner there were "ohhs" from every one else. my face turned red from embarrassment and anger I saw the boy, he was flushed with embarrassment "AT LEAST I DON'T NEED A FAKE BOYFRIEND TO SEEM COOL!!!!" I snapped back. josh(Beca's boyfriend) came stood in front of Beca, towering over me like a skyscraper. I honestly thought he would hit me, then all of a sudden the boy stood in front of me going face to face with josh. I blushed because it was rare for a boy to come to my defenses except my dad. both josh and the boy were kinda muscular I don't now who would win if they fought. "HEY NO FIGHTS LETS JUST GET TO THE PARTY" said Chloe said in her normal crazy tone. The anger flushed out of everyone we all sat back down the boy put his hand up "i'm pat" he said with a cheeky grin "i'm nova"

Chloe yelled "what is it" said josh kinda annoyed that Chloe broke his ear drums "oh i just forgot he he" a irritated groan came from everyone "neon lights?" I asked "that's a good idea, here" Dan drew a picture of the gym with neon lights decorations. The picture would make a hand turkey look like the monsoonal "i'm not that god at drawing" Dan blushed a little "here let me try..." pat took the book drew a little. When he showed it to everyone 'ohhs' and 'ahhs' filled the class room. "so he can draw" I said with a smirk. pat turned his head to hide his blush "so..." said Dan continuing "next is food anyone got anything" Chloe stuck her hand in the air "OH I MAKE MAD CUPCAKES PICK ME ME!!!!!!" Dan rolled his eyes "ok fine now we need a DJ...." "OH PICK ME!!!!" I yelled unexpectedly everyone looked at me. I blushed..WHAT i really liked dj ing. "uh if that's ok with you guys " "..ok" so that's about it Beca will organize decorations, nova will handle music, Chloe is on refreshments, pat and josh will help Beca with the heavy lifting and I will organize the rest. everyone get to work " I looked at the clock it was only 2:30 detention was over at 3:30 so I guess I would mark where I would put the dj stand and what music i would play. The gym was huge with a stage for special things I walked on stage I decided where i would put the stand then someone put their hand on my eyes "move your hands before i bite them off " I heard a manly laugh "feisty one eh?" I pried his hands of my my face and flipped him over and tripped him. I was supersized by my own strength I turned around, and found pat moaning on the ground "you got me" he said out of breath "oh my gosh i'm so sorry " I helped him up The next day of school went by smoothly, until detention we. all sat in are normal circle Dan was about speak when mis,atums stood in the center of the circle and talked in a booming voice yet it was smooth "ok class today we will take a brake from planing and get more serious" silence filled the class room, mis,atum continued "what i'm going to say might be hard to believe but you must listen " she took a big breath "18 years ago a disease started with seven new bores who were born on the same day the disease was easily cured and the children when on with there normal lives until 17 years later when doctors looked back at the cure they found out one of side affects was inhuman powers, you guys still with me " everyone nodded hypnotized by her story "theses powers made them stronger, faster, smarter the government decided that we would use these kids to defend are free country, america and what if i told you that you 7 were those kids " laughs came from the hole class room "are you on drugs or some thing lady" josh said though laughs mis,atums face stiffed when are all your birth days" as if on cue everyone said the same thing at the same time November 4th a awkward silence filled the room until mis,adum talked "I assure you kids this is not a joke " before she could say anything else everyone left but the weird thing was she let us.

The 'detention crew' decided that beca would pick us up in her car since she was the only one that had a car. Nothing was spoken of what happened the other day with what mis,adum said, my thoughts on it, was that she was just a crazy old lady, even though it was weird that we all have the same birthday and we were all in detention. I was cut from my thoughts when Beca's car pulled up in front of my house I ran up to the car and got in the back seat, I looked in and found every one dressed in glow in the dark stuff. I gave them all a sarcastic grin "I guess I didn't over dress" they all gave a laugh. The car wasn't big but it was all we had so I had to fit between pat and josh...... lets just say it was awkward. With the week we spent in detention we all got to now each other I have became really good friends with beca, and Dan helped me fix my dj stand, josh helped me carry it in. Why haven't I mentioned Penelope well she doesn't talk to anyone mostly because there scared. Anyone who gets close to her is given a deadly stare, we invited her to come but she didn't want to. Everyone thought she was gust some meaning less loner.... but i can tell by her eyes she has something much bigger planed. The dance was CRAZY beca really out did herself there were lights every where, beast of all I had the beast view on stage. Shortly pat walked up to me "hey you want to dance" I smiled "sure" I clicked a button on the bored and walked of stage. With pat we were dancing for a while when beca found us though the crowed "HEY NOVA" I didn't want to yell so I gust nodded "CAN I SING A SONG ON THE STAGE" I looked at my phone the dance was over in 15 minuets so I guess we had time. I nodded and showed beca to the stage I opened up my laptop, I scrolled thought the songs when beca stopped me "there!" she pointed to a song and with out question I played it. The music stared to play then the obvious question 'can beca sing' she took the mic and began to sing. I edited the song on my computer so it was kinda like karaoke her voice was strong and pure, guess that answered my question .The song went well with the them it was neon lights by Demi lovato. The hole party wen't crazy soon beca waved me over from behind the stand. I ran over and sang with her, I saw pat and josh clapping their hands to the beat and I waved for them to come over, they ran to the stage and all 4 of us were singing. Chloe saw what I was doing and she took Dan's hand making him turn deep starlet. Soon all 6 of us were singing having the best time of are lives but its my life so something had to go wrong. About like 15 guys with GUNS ran thought the doors blocking every one. They weren't swat. Swat doesn't ruin high school dances they started yelling Russian stuff that sounded really scary. They stout their guns to the roof.Then one guy talked in English "EVERYONE DOWN NOW AND IF ONE OF YOU CALLS THE POLICE YOU'LL BE DEAD BY THE TIME THEY COME!!!! " people started screaming now this was really serious. I lost count of how many guys were hear. Soon everyone was one there knees I looked over at pat and Chloe who were the closest to me. Chloe looked like she peed herself and pat tried to look threatening but I could tell he was scared. I was not going to die not today. I searched my surroundings and found a pipe that fell when they shout the roof. Everything was quiet now except a few wipers from students. It looked like the Russian guy were waiting for something i whispered to Dan "go to the back and turn off the power" he looked at me as if I was crazy "what!?" he whispered shouted "every one here has enough glow in the dark gunk it will be easy to tell the students between the Russians " then he looked shocked "then how do you expect to take them out" I smiled "the same way i do everything... with out thought" I swiftly jumped up garbed the pipe and complete hell broke out gun shouts every where girls screaming both ear bleeding. I hid under the table to fast for anyone to see me once the gun fire stopped the Russians started yelling trying to find me I didn't even notice before that a bullet nicked me on the cheek. I heard one of the Russian coming close don't get me wrong I was terrified. Then luck flew my way when I saw the lights turn off I ran out of the table. Tripped the guy and then knocked out another guy with the pipe. I turned around and saw a guy run towed's me without a gun witch was weird since I was the only one fighting he pinned me up against the wall choking me. I thought it was the end then he fell and behind him was pat? He smiled at me then fell some guy behind him knocked him out he pointed the gun at me. I swiftly kicked it out of his hands and grabbed it then pointed it him. He just chuckled "you don't now how to work that thing" I looked at it was true I didn't now how to use it so I thew it at his face I ran to help pat up when I heard a familiar sound. It was a police car. Turns out someone called the police and that the Russian were told that someone at the dance hand useful information about the whit house. Anyway me and friends were able to hold them off. Also beca and josh were fighting and Chloe and Dan turned out power. I had a bandage for my cut. We were all waiting for are parents, cant wait to tell them. Then unexpectedly mis,adums came she looked at us "you tell me how you held off 21 Russian men" she gave us a told you so look "your training starts Wednesday" we all looked at her curiously "training for what ?" she gave us a smirk "for being the team of tiny ninja"
