For years Celestia has been working with Shining Armor to create a secret task force that could infiltrate the underground networks of Canterlot and assist in taking them down. Crime rates are higher in the lower district of the city, with many of the school students in both the middle and lower districts being affected by street gangs, thugs, and the mafia.

After nearly being killed by three members of the Three Rivers Syndicate, both Celestia and Shining Armor agree that enough is enough, and with the help of Spike, they set up their first ever undercover division in the Canterlot Royal Guard. What awaits them is only the beginning…
