Load Full Story"Ow, Get off me!" said an annoyed voice in the dark.
"C-can the pony who's jabbing me with there huffs please stop, if you don't mind," said a timid voice. Soon after getting jabbed again, "Ow, please stop."
"Ah think that's me, sorry Fluttershy. Am trayn ta scoot over to mah right but some pony' s horns stabbing me in mah side" said a voice with an southern accent.
"Sorry if that's me just trying to. . .," anther pony said with a her strained voice when she spoke but was cut off. Smothered by the mass of pony's above her who threatened to turn her in to a pancake."Hey, could you guy's... Stop moving so much? I can't. . . Ow, hey!"
"Sorry sugar-cube, some pony' s rolling around on top a' me", said the southern voice. Wait, Pinkie that's you ain't it. Stop the horse play and get off!"
"Te hee hee heee again, again that was so much fun!" Pinkie said playfully.
"Pinkie pie, darling! if you would be so kind as to do as dear Applejack says, and get off me! I'm certain that my mane is totally ruined," a voice complained.
"Awwww, but. . ."
"Pinkie!" Shouted all the voices in unison with their echo's following after.
"Okayyyy" she replied in a disappointed tone. Soon after, the sound of her hooves touching the ground echoed through-out the dark wherever they were.
As soon as Pinkie was off, another pony got up and immediately received a retort from another. "Hey watch where you're stepping!" Applejack barked.
"So sorry Applejack, but I can't really watch where l'm stepping now, can I?" came the sarcastic response.
"You know what amean Rarity!" Applejack shouted. "Now get off me!"
"Alright, no need to yell," Rarity said. "Pinkie dear, are you there?"
"Yep! Right here," Pinkie chirped.
"Is there any mud or water about dear?"
"Seriously!" an annoyed voice cried out.
"Dag nabit, Rarity!" Applejack yelled.
"Please hurry," a timid voice said.
"Girls if you just stop moving for just," a voice at the bottom said before getting smothered again. "Nnn come. . . on!."
"Well I never! Is it a crime to keep my hooficure from getting ruined if at all possible?" asked Rarity.
"It is, when you use us as your door mat!" came a pony's angry response.
"Well I..." Rarity, was about to answer when Pinkie Pie said "Rarity, the ground is dry as a whistle,".
"Oh, thank you" Pinkie, rarity said. another set of echoes were heard as Rarity hoofs touched the ground.
"Finally!" said a relieved voice. with most of the weight now removed, she began to dig her way out of the dog pile as did every pony else. All complaining at times when some pony stepped on another's hooves or wing's, but ultimately freeing them selves.
"Well now that that debacle is over with," said Rarity, "does some pony have a light?" Just after the inquiry a purple glow illuminated the surroundings by a purple pony. "Ah, much better."
"I would have done this sooner, but every pony kept moving around on top of me so much I couldn't concentrate," said the purple pony in an annoyed tone.
"Ya! Do you know how heavy you guy's are? Like really heavy," a blue pegasus, said.
"I beg your pardon! I hope you're not insinuate I'm fat. Rainbow Dash!" Rarity shouted.
"I'm not saying you're fat. I'm saying your heavy," said Rainbow Dash.
"That's the same thing!"
"No it isn't!"
"Yes it is! You said I'm heavy, which mean's that I have put on weight, that say's that I'm fat!"
"Oh, come on!."
"W-well maybe the fact that you had been standing on every pony had some thing to do with it! oh, and let's not forget, oh so special you. Every pony else can just wait until you and your hooves are safe from dirt and stuff. Your friend's, no wait, I'm sorry your door mat's, can keep your hooves clean for you while you wait!",
"Girl's please" Twilight said.
Apple Jack stopped her friend, "let e,m finish twi."
Rarity furrowed her brow and stared at Rainbow Dash. she sighed then said, "I'm sorry."
"Ya well," Rainbow Dash started then stopped and blinked "what?"
"I said, I'm sorry," Rarity stared lifting her head proudly. "Rainbow Dash, I am a lady and a lady always admits when she's wrong, but I would like an apology for calling me fat.
"I didn't." Rainbow didn't finish instead groaned. " I'm sorry." came the reluctant apology.
"Apology accepted."
"Okay," Apple Jack spoke up, "now that that's out of the way, we can figure out where the hay we are."
"Well," the purple alicorn stared.
"Oh I know, I know, Pinkie Pie waved a hoof in the air as she answered excitedly answered we're underground!" .
"We know we're underground Pinkie," the blue Pegasus said.
"every pony just listen!" Twilight yelled.
"No need to yell dear," said Rarity.
Twilight closed her eyes, put a hoof to her face, and groaned. "We have to take this seriously." Opening her eye's, removing the hoof from her face, she looked up. It took only a minute to spot the hole where they fell from, but wedged in it was a rock. "Well, that's where we came from," she pointed with her hoof. Every pony looked up, seeing the blocked hole they came out from.
"Mmm, you think you can move it with your magic, twi, or can we even get out through there?" Applejack asked.
"Or just blast it. Better yet, it I'll move it." Rainbow Dash flew up to the rock before Twilight could say any thing, and stared to push it." Nnnnnn, garrrr come on!"
"I don't think that's going to work!" the alicorn called out.
"Well, we can at least try, better now," Applejack looked at Twilight "doubt we'll be able to do it later."
"Mmm, I... guess it wont hurt." Closing her eye's in concentration, the rock was soon enveloped in a lavender glow of Twilight Sparkle's magic. She tried to move it, it didn't.
After some second's, Apple jack turned to a yellow Pegasus. Fluttershy "maybe you should get up there and help e'm."
"O-ok," fluttershy spread her wing's to take off.
"Don't bother it's not bugging," twilight said in a strained voice then let out a breath of air. The purple glow of twilight's magic around the rock faded as she did so.
"Ya, It's not moving," Rainbow Dash said as she floated down to meet her friend's. "So It's plan b. We blast it!"
"No! rainbow dash, blasting it may cause a cave-in. Maybe cutting around it with my magic to free it could work, but then there is the task of climbing out, considering the debris in the way. huummm," Twilight thought.
"It won't work," pinkie said, and all eye's were now on her. But she didn't continue.
"Uhmm Pinkie," Twilight said.
"Yes."
"Could you elaborate a bit?"
"Oh, well we are about 94 meter down and the ceiling that came down is blocking the entrance up top. Not to mention all the debris that came with it is now lodged in between the two curve's we slide past. Plus I think it's waaaay too smooth to get any kind of grip to climb up."
Pinkie walking to the cave wall said, "all so, I've never seen this type of rock before, it's kinda weird." as she put a hoof on the wall rubbed it then tapping it." The wall's here are smooth too to smooth. From what I can tell, the wall's are too dense and hard to break, even with magic and even if you could it wouldn't be safe," Pinkie Pie finished.
All her friend's were now looking at her oddly. "What? Is there some thing on my face?"
"No pinkie," twilight said smiling. It shouldn't be that surprising that she knows about this she was a rock farmer after all , but still it was so out of character for her it always catches every pony off guard.
"So um now what do we do,?" asked Fluttershy.
"Hummm well," Twilight thought, but it only took a second or two to get the answer "I think Pinkie should answer that."
"Me? Pinkie said a little surprised."
"Yes you, I've read about cave and cavern's but you're the only one with the first hoof experience, knowledge and the skill set for this. If any-one can get us out of here it's you."
"Are you sure?"
"listen cuz, twi says you're the mare for the job, and ah think so too. If y'a need help or make a mistake, we're where, ah mean we're not going any-where."
"Ok ok enough pep talk can we move this along please?" Rainbow Dash said. "I would really like to get out of here."
"Yes, I would as well. A dark underground tunnel is no place for a lady. I do have the utmost faith in you, Pinkie after all I wouldn't trust my life with just anyone."
"I trust you too," said Fluttershy with a small but a assuring smile.
Now filled with confidence from her friend's Pinkie Pie put a hoof on her chest. "Alright, leave it to me!" Ok, I think we should go this way."
